Best Motivational Speech Compilation EVER - FOCUS ON YOU | 1 Hour of the Best Motivation

  • 0:00 - 0:05
we become what we think about focus on
  • 0:03 - 0:07
what you want rather than focusing on
  • 0:05 - 0:10
what you don't want so who do you want
  • 0:07 - 0:16
to be you know why why did why are you
  • 0:10 - 0:19
here on this planet you live according
  • 0:16 - 0:21
to the principles of love compassion you
  • 0:19 - 0:25
    know appreciative joy you know
  • 0:21 - 0:28
    celebrating other people's successes but
  • 0:25 - 0:31
how do you overcome hatred and confusion
  • 0:28 - 0:33
and just having a good heart then I
  • 0:31 - 0:35
think that's what happened to me then I
  • 0:33 - 0:37
start to get clear about what what I
  • 0:35 - 0:41
like to do and how I can be of service
  • 0:37 - 0:44
how can I help other people that we were
  • 0:41 - 0:46
wired for success but it's how we relate
  • 0:44 - 0:50
    to our experience that determines
  • 0:46 - 0:53
whether we're chipping away or we're you
  • 0:50 - 0:59
know kind of burying that sense of
  • 0:53 - 1:01
wholeness that we that were born with it
  • 0:59 - 1:04
just that we forget it we don't look
  • 1:01 - 1:06
inside we're looking outside and so
  • 1:04 - 1:08
unless we're still and we think about it
  • 1:06 - 1:10
and we understand that I was born with
  • 1:08 - 1:13
this masterpieces no one can give it to
  • 1:10 - 1:16
me or take it away it's it's an inside
  • 1:13 - 1:19
job and so if I look at what's right it
  • 1:16 - 1:20
just it makes makes a lot of sense so
  • 1:19 - 1:24
    it's whether you're coming from a place
  • 1:20 - 1:26
of scarcity or I would say survival mode
  • 1:24 - 1:29
or coming from growth mode which has to
  • 1:26 - 1:31
do with yes I can't yes to life and I I
  • 1:29 - 1:34
have the capacity and the responsibility
  • 1:31 - 1:37
to make it different but to make it make
  • 1:34 - 1:39
it better having that faith that
  • 1:37 - 1:42
vulnerability that just see things that
  • 1:39 - 1:45
are hard to see gotta get comfortable
  • 1:42 - 1:47
being uncomfortable so can you handle
  • 1:45 - 1:49
    the truth
  • 1:47 - 1:51
it's a question and if you can't then
  • 1:49 - 1:52
you if you see that that you can say
  • 1:51 - 1:55
well is if I'm going to change I'm gonna
  • 1:52 - 1:58
have to figure out how to deal with that
  • 1:55 - 1:59
discomfort until the point that I can
  • 1:58 - 2:02
see what I need to see then I can change
  • 1:59 - 2:05
it so as the persistence of continuing
  • 2:02 - 2:08
to do something that you can do it is is
  • 2:05 - 2:10
most of the work this is just continuing
  • 2:08 - 2:13
to make mistakes learn from mistakes but
  • 2:10 - 2:16
the mistakes are viewed as feedback not
  • 2:13 - 2:19
as I'm a failure it's just an event now
  • 2:16 - 2:21
who we are so that error correction is
  • 2:19 - 2:22
really important and when you can see
  • 2:21 - 2:25
when you attributed this something you
  • 2:22 - 2:28
can learn or change now you've got faith
  • 2:25 - 2:30
and confidence to do it versus if you're
  • 2:28 - 2:32
seeing it like oh I'm just not strong
  • 2:30 - 2:35
enough I'm not tall enough and all of
  • 2:32 - 2:36
that that's just that's what I call the
  • 2:35 - 2:39
negative committee telling you you can't
  • 2:36 - 2:40
do anything rather than saying well let
  • 2:39 - 2:42
me see what can i what I can do
  • 2:40 - 2:46
so it's like a child learn how to walk
  • 2:42 - 2:49
right same thing your life can change
  • 2:46 - 2:53
your life can be more than just a place
  • 2:49 - 2:56
it can be your future your success this
  • 2:53 - 2:59
change this change takes courage it
  • 2:56 - 3:01
takes courage to stand up and break down
  • 2:59 - 3:02
the aspects of your life that you know
  • 3:01 - 3:06
    is holding you back
  • 3:02 - 3:09
let your progress be idolized let it
  • 3:06 - 3:09
    speak for itself
  • 3:10 - 3:16
    [Music]
  • 3:14 - 3:18
average becomes sort of like this slow
  • 3:16 - 3:20
    asphyxiation it's almost like an
  • 3:18 - 3:22
    anesthetic and that overtime would
  • 3:20 - 3:24
become kind of immune and dulled to the
  • 3:22 - 3:25
average that we're becoming I know this
  • 3:24 - 3:27
is true at least for me you probably
  • 3:25 - 3:29
experienced it yourself too and so over
  • 3:27 - 3:31
time we sort of minimize where we're at
  • 3:29 - 3:33
in other words I'm a little pudgy
  • 3:31 - 3:35
instead of being know your fat ass right
  • 3:33 - 3:37
you know you don't magnify the degree to
  • 3:35 - 3:39
which the pain ought to be affecting you
  • 3:37 - 3:41
and so really what he means on that is
  • 3:39 - 3:42
listen you're gonna get out of your life
  • 3:41 - 3:43
    what you'll accept that's really
  • 3:42 - 3:44
difficult for people I think to
  • 3:43 - 3:46
understand is look what you think you're
  • 3:44 - 3:48
worth and what you're gonna tolerate is
  • 3:46 - 3:50
absolutely what you're gonna bring into
  • 3:48 - 3:51
your life and what the outward part of
  • 3:50 - 3:54
your life is gonna look like and so I
  • 3:51 - 3:57
live by that like I let myself sort of
  • 3:54 - 3:59
feel the pain and the difficulty of
  • 3:57 - 4:00
being not where I want to be in whatever
  • 3:59 - 4:02
that areas were those would be my
  • 4:00 - 4:04
spirituality my relationships my money I
  • 4:02 - 4:05
let myself feel that pain because as you
  • 4:04 - 4:07
    know there's two motivators right
  • 4:05 - 4:09
there's the gaining of pleasure right
  • 4:07 - 4:11
wanting to go get something chasing the
  • 4:09 - 4:14
dream but then there's the avoidance of
  • 4:11 - 4:16
pain and for a lot of champions that's a
  • 4:14 - 4:18
pretty big driving force for them and so
  • 4:16 - 4:19
at least for me I I leveraged both of
  • 4:18 - 4:23
those things on me to get myself to take
  • 4:19 - 4:27
action one of the reasons I'm relatively
  • 4:23 - 4:29
fit is not just peak State I have an
  • 4:27 - 4:30
uncle and my family that died at 50
  • 4:29 - 4:32
years old of a heart attacks my
  • 4:30 - 4:35
godfather my dad's only brother I kind
  • 4:32 - 4:37
of resemble him and I look like a plan
  • 4:35 - 4:40
so on the way back from his funeral my
  • 4:37 - 4:42
reticular activating art attacks on the
  • 4:40 - 4:43
TV screen on the airplane I listen to
  • 4:42 - 4:45
music is the Oprah Winfrey Show she's
  • 4:43 - 4:47
going through a new heart scan
  • 4:45 - 4:49
I've unplugged my headphones plug into
  • 4:47 - 4:51
this airplane one I scheduled it I went
  • 4:49 - 4:53
    in I had a world-class doctor who
  • 4:51 - 4:55
understood reasons and levers instead of
  • 4:53 - 4:56
just prescribing coolant only coach well
  • 4:55 - 4:57
you need to do this you need to do this
  • 4:56 - 4:58
like doctors do it take his pill take
  • 4:57 - 5:01
    this
  • 4:58 - 5:02
he understood leverage and reasons what
  • 5:01 - 5:04
you do is to take the scan then you go
  • 5:02 - 5:07
to lunch you come back I took the scan I
  • 5:04 - 5:09
went those I had a burrito I came back
  • 5:07 - 5:12
and I'm in the LA when I walk in I sit
  • 5:09 - 5:12
down the doctor comes up and he says
  • 5:13 - 5:21
oh my I can't believe these arteries are
  • 5:17 - 5:23
in that young body got my attention we
  • 5:21 - 5:25
walk back in we sit down he could still
  • 5:23 - 5:26
go you need Crestor eat clean get out of
  • 5:25 - 5:29
here is know what an average doctor does
  • 5:26 - 5:31
right No wired me with huge reasons he
  • 5:29 - 5:32
goes let me ask you a question I heard
  • 5:31 - 5:34
your wife's pregnant you have I said I
  • 5:32 - 5:35
have a son and he says do you want to be
  • 5:34 - 5:38
there when he graduates from high school
  • 5:35 - 5:40
to be there for that day I said yes sir
  • 5:38 - 5:41
yeah he goes your wife's pregnant what
  • 5:40 - 5:43
do you have it I said a daughter this is
  • 5:41 - 5:45
where you get a dad he goes she was six
  • 5:43 - 5:47
months pregnant he goes do you um would
  • 5:45 - 5:48
you like to walk her down the aisle on
  • 5:47 - 5:50
her wedding day are you okay that it's
  • 5:48 - 5:57
    some other man
  • 5:50 - 5:59
I went what the zahn this skin right
  • 5:57 - 6:00
like and he goes I want to be very clear
  • 5:59 - 6:02
with you if you keep going down the road
  • 6:00 - 6:04
you're going there'll be some other man
  • 6:02 - 6:06
with your son at graduation high school
  • 6:04 - 6:07
and a strangers walking your daughter
  • 6:06 - 6:09
down the aisle that's not even born yet
  • 6:07 - 6:11
on her wedding day and I went to him and
  • 6:09 - 6:14
he goes but if you do exactly what I
  • 6:11 - 6:16
tell you to do you'll be there and so to
  • 6:14 - 6:17
this day brother there are mornings when
  • 6:16 - 6:19
I wake up not every morning I don't want
  • 6:17 - 6:22
to go to the gym I go Bella's wedding
  • 6:19 - 6:24
Bella's wedding Bella's wedding so my
  • 6:22 - 6:26
standards are high because of my big old
  • 6:24 - 6:27
reasons other dudes may miss the gym
  • 6:26 - 6:29
that day cuz they're not gonna miss
  • 6:27 - 6:31
their daughter's wedding if they don't
  • 6:29 - 6:33
go but I've convinced myself I will get
  • 6:31 - 6:33
    emotional
  • 6:34 - 6:38
I've convinced myself on this my
  • 6:36 - 6:39
daughter's wedding so I will get my ass
  • 6:38 - 6:41
out of bed at 4 o'clock in the morning
  • 6:39 - 6:43
and I will get to that gym because my
  • 6:41 - 6:45
reasons are bigger so my standards are
  • 6:43 - 6:49
higher so that's what I think causes us
  • 6:45 - 6:49
to have great standards as huge reasons
  • 6:49 - 6:57
when you're inspired by something or
  • 6:52 - 7:01
someone in your life you feel the magic
  • 6:57 - 7:04
now's the time to be the magic what are
  • 7:01 - 7:07
you going to do are you going to let the
  • 7:04 - 7:10
Masters inspire you to feel it or are
  • 7:07 - 7:11
you going to strive to be a master
  • 7:10 - 7:15
    [Music]
  • 7:11 - 7:17
it's your choice the magic is waiting
  • 7:15 - 7:19
not only for you just a feeling but so
  • 7:17 - 7:24
    be it
  • 7:19 - 7:27
nobody can take this away in your life
  • 7:24 - 7:29
you can't escape anything that goes
  • 7:27 - 7:30
along with life you know we are not
  • 7:29 - 7:37
    immune to problems
  • 7:30 - 7:37
drama trauma the tragedy you know we all
  • 7:38 - 7:43
here as human beings so you know when
  • 7:42 - 7:44
you're going through some sort of
  • 7:43 - 7:46
difficulties you know first fighting or
  • 7:44 - 7:49
whatever that difficulty may be you know
  • 7:46 - 7:52
you know we do with within your power in
  • 7:49 - 7:53
terms of how to start slowly you know
  • 7:52 - 7:56
get yourself out of that situation
  • 7:53 - 7:59
and you believe you'd be optimistic
  • 7:56 - 8:02
about you know being negative about a
  • 7:59 - 8:05
situation stand in that place it never
  • 8:02 - 8:07
helps you know it's nothing wrong with
  • 8:05 - 8:09
    understanding that place feeling bad
  • 8:07 - 8:13
about it looking at it for what it is
  • 8:09 - 8:14
but don't stay there you've got to get
  • 8:13 - 8:17
back on that other side and start
  • 8:14 - 8:21
looking at the resolved resolution of
  • 8:17 - 8:24
how can I get back to feeling good and
  • 8:21 - 8:27
feeling prosperous again to where I'm
  • 8:24 - 8:27
    not dealing with this obstacle
  • 8:30 - 8:35
words are very powerful very powerful so
  • 8:33 - 8:38
the thing is about getting within
  • 8:35 - 8:40
yourself and understand who you are to
  • 8:38 - 8:41
kind of you know what off those negative
  • 8:40 - 8:43
    comments that's coming towards my
  • 8:41 - 8:45
virtually always prepared you know you
  • 8:43 - 8:48
have to go for those things in order to
  • 8:45 - 8:49
see it in light of the light at the end
  • 8:48 - 8:52
of the tunnel you know I don't think
  • 8:49 - 8:53
anything is going to just be like this
  • 8:52 - 8:55
throughout your life and then you have
  • 8:53 - 8:58
to go through that difficult overcome
  • 8:55 - 8:59
obstacle because it's a testament of
  • 8:58 - 9:01
your character of who you are in high
  • 8:59 - 9:03
gear to deal with certain things you
  • 9:01 - 9:08
know to get yourself back on it playing
  • 9:03 - 9:11
field everything happened for a reason
  • 9:08 - 9:13
no regrets all the negative things that
  • 9:11 - 9:15
happened I'm thankful for it because I
  • 9:13 - 9:17
learned hopefully I learned from those
  • 9:15 - 9:20
situations and all the positive things
  • 9:17 - 9:23
I'm humbly grateful that those was able
  • 9:20 - 9:25
to take place and still striving to be
  • 9:23 - 9:27
the best I can be and you know going
  • 9:25 - 9:31
forward people didn't care at some kid
  • 9:27 - 9:34
to be the best they could be you know
  • 9:31 - 9:38
    anything is possible positive thinking
  • 9:34 - 9:38
is also translating them you know so
  • 9:39 - 9:44
when you have something that's positive
  • 9:42 - 9:46
up there you can be you know the best
  • 9:44 - 9:48
you can be you know any negative out
  • 9:46 - 9:52
there and you could bring down the worst
  • 9:48 - 9:55
person misery loves company misery loves
  • 9:52 - 9:57
company so we are not debbie down as we
  • 9:55 - 9:59
more uplifters you know we always no
  • 9:57 - 10:02
matter what the situation with the
  • 9:59 - 10:05
situation is we're gonna try to look for
  • 10:02 - 10:10
the outcome the better of that situation
  • 10:05 - 10:12
you know if we can't find a resolution
  • 10:10 - 10:14
to get out of it you know we're gonna
  • 10:12 - 10:17
keep on searching the continue to try to
  • 10:14 - 10:19
find a resolution to get out of because
  • 10:17 - 10:20
that's what you do you know that's how
  • 10:19 - 10:24
you get to the bottom of that's how you
  • 10:20 - 10:26
get to the facts of Nass are you willing
  • 10:24 - 10:29
to breath are you willing to be the
  • 10:26 - 10:32
warrior bring your shield bring your
  • 10:29 - 10:34
sword stand up and fight today will be
  • 10:32 - 10:37
the day where you can take control take
  • 10:34 - 10:39
control of your power become this power
  • 10:37 - 10:42
because now is the time to fight you're
  • 10:39 - 10:46
a warrior warriors don't give up and
  • 10:42 - 10:49
they don't back down become the warrior
  • 10:46 - 10:52
    transform your life transform yourself
  • 10:49 - 10:53
head out into battle step on to the
  • 10:52 - 10:55
    battlefield
  • 10:53 - 10:59
use your weapons to fight through this
  • 10:55 - 11:02
pain fight through the rejection learn
  • 10:59 - 11:06
from the bruises the blood scars because
  • 11:02 - 11:10
this time you can rise to become the
  • 11:06 - 11:14
step on to the Plainfield because now is
  • 11:10 - 11:19
the time to change now is the time to
  • 11:14 - 11:20
rise with the crown on your head you
  • 11:19 - 11:23
know you want to be a little bit better
  • 11:20 - 11:25
in some way tomorrow than you are today
  • 11:23 - 11:28
but it's not gonna be in a linear path
  • 11:25 - 11:31
again these go through cycles of stress
  • 11:28 - 11:33
and recovery so it's just kind of being
  • 11:31 - 11:36
able to surf the flow of that and know
  • 11:33 - 11:38
again it really comes down to balance so
  • 11:36 - 11:40
it's the practices that you need to know
  • 11:38 - 11:43
what to do for sure and then you need to
  • 11:40 - 11:45
know how to apply those things in the
  • 11:43 - 11:48
right way so when you when to push and
  • 11:45 - 11:49
when to take the pressure off the gas as
  • 11:48 - 11:51
well and I think that's really
  • 11:49 - 11:52
understanding that so part of it is the
  • 11:51 - 11:54
knowledge and then part of it is the
  • 11:52 - 11:57
follow-through and then part of it is
  • 11:54 - 11:59
the discipline to know not only when you
  • 11:57 - 12:03
need to go but when you need to rest I
  • 11:59 - 12:05
think it's important to really trust
  • 12:03 - 12:08
that what you're doing is going to work
  • 12:05 - 12:11
what's a day that makes life awesome and
  • 12:08 - 12:14
and makes you again a little bit better
  • 12:11 - 12:17
tomorrow from having done it today you
  • 12:14 - 12:19
have to really do the work like you have
  • 12:17 - 12:20
to back it with hard work you know any
  • 12:19 - 12:23
of you ask Conor McGregor like what's
  • 12:20 - 12:25
the secret to his success hard work hard
  • 12:23 - 12:27
work hard work I don't know if he
  • 12:25 - 12:29
actually worked harder than anybody but
  • 12:27 - 12:30
he believes he does you know he has no
  • 12:29 - 12:33
doubts in his mind that he's actually
  • 12:30 - 12:34
working harder and and that's I think
  • 12:33 - 12:37
    important so
  • 12:34 - 12:39
really making sure that you really do
  • 12:37 - 12:41
your best to get the goods you know and
  • 12:39 - 12:43
to in to practice that and go out there
  • 12:41 - 12:45
and put yourself out there and then on
  • 12:43 - 12:46
the other side what is the thing what is
  • 12:45 - 12:49
the antagonist of belief well the
  • 12:46 - 12:51
antagonist of belief is fear you know
  • 12:49 - 12:53
fear is a belief that something negative
  • 12:51 - 12:54
is going to happen rather than something
  • 12:53 - 12:56
positive is going to happen so it's like
  • 12:54 - 12:59
that's on the other side you're almost
  • 12:56 - 13:00
believing in your failure right rather
  • 12:59 - 13:03
than believing in your success so you
  • 13:00 - 13:05
have to go attack and collapse these
  • 13:03 - 13:08
different fears and part of that is
  • 13:05 - 13:10
going to be sucking out the the penalty
  • 13:08 - 13:12
if if you fail right because like a lot
  • 13:10 - 13:13
of the fear comes because we're afraid
  • 13:12 - 13:15
that we're gonna judge ourselves harshly
  • 13:13 - 13:17
or whatever so you got to realize like
  • 13:15 - 13:19
there is no such thing as failure
  • 13:17 - 13:21
there's just learning right so you
  • 13:19 - 13:23
collapse the penalty for failure so that
  • 13:21 - 13:25
collapses the fear which allows you to
  • 13:23 - 13:26
believe even more so that's one way to
  • 13:25 - 13:27
do it and the other way is to just look
  • 13:26 - 13:29
    at fear itself
  • 13:27 - 13:31
and play out the different scenarios
  • 13:29 - 13:34
know that you're gonna be fine again
  • 13:31 - 13:37
forgive yourself always and and really
  • 13:34 - 13:39
also just attack fear wherever you see
  • 13:37 - 13:41
it even when it's trivial even when it's
  • 13:39 - 13:42
some kind of we were just before the
  • 13:41 - 13:45
before we got on here we talked about
  • 13:42 - 13:47
the fear of the number 13 true God trick
  • 13:45 - 13:48
a phobia like if you're afraid of 13 you
  • 13:47 - 13:51
know what you need to do you put 13s all
  • 13:48 - 13:53
of you in house you know you need to
  • 13:51 - 13:55
like sit in Thirteen's you need to go to
  • 13:53 - 13:58
the 13th demand to be on the 13th floor
  • 13:55 - 13:59
of every hotel in every airplane because
  • 13:58 - 14:01
you got to get over that shit because
  • 13:59 - 14:04
that is telling yourself that there's
  • 14:01 - 14:06
    something irrational that should control
  • 14:04 - 14:07
you and if you believe there's something
  • 14:06 - 14:09
    that's irrational that should control
  • 14:07 - 14:12
you that will apply universally so
  • 14:09 - 14:14
    wherever you find fear specifically
  • 14:12 - 14:15
that's out of balance with actual danger
  • 14:14 - 14:17
like I'm not saying touch a hot stove or
  • 14:15 - 14:19
put your hand in a rattlesnake cage like
  • 14:17 - 14:23
there's danger there that's not fear but
  • 14:19 - 14:26
13 no danger you know that's not real
  • 14:23 - 14:28
so go collapse that the fear of crickets
  • 14:26 - 14:30
like I have a fear of like whatever it
  • 14:28 - 14:34
is collapse fear wherever you see it and
  • 14:30 - 14:37
that specific collapse will help with
  • 14:34 - 14:37
    the universal collapses
  • 14:37 - 14:41
you just got to understand the only
  • 14:40 - 14:43
thing that you're responsible for is
  • 14:41 - 14:46
your best but he can't do better than
  • 14:43 - 14:48
your best you just do your best and if
  • 14:46 - 14:49
you try to obsess too much you're not
  • 14:48 - 14:51
doing your best you're gonna be
  • 14:49 - 14:52
paralyzed right so you have to get as
  • 14:51 - 14:54
much information as you can make the
  • 14:52 - 14:56
most educated choice make sure that
  • 14:54 - 15:00
you're not choosing based on ego or
  • 14:56 - 15:02
emotion or you know greed or these other
  • 15:00 - 15:04
forces that delude you and prevent you
  • 15:02 - 15:06
from thinking clearly but if you do your
  • 15:04 - 15:08
best and you fail like what do you do
  • 15:06 - 15:09
beat yourself up for that like that
  • 15:08 - 15:11
doesn't make any sense if you're doing
  • 15:09 - 15:13
your best if you're really laying it out
  • 15:11 - 15:15
there there's nothing nothing more you
  • 15:13 - 15:17
can do and and that's I think that
  • 15:15 - 15:20
that's really the key is just to
  • 15:17 - 15:22
constantly rest and rely on that fact
  • 15:20 - 15:25
that I'm just I'm doing my best and
  • 15:22 - 15:27
there's nothing nothing more than that
  • 15:25 - 15:29
you know you have to really appreciate
  • 15:27 - 15:31
where you are in the journey and say
  • 15:29 - 15:33
yeah where you are is awesome but you
  • 15:31 - 15:36
could be better cuz that's the the
  • 15:33 - 15:38
process is becoming better right so it's
  • 15:36 - 15:41
not it's not judging it externally by
  • 15:38 - 15:43
any other criteria because every step is
  • 15:41 - 15:45
good but the process of striving for
  • 15:43 - 15:48
more in a process to really unfailing
  • 15:45 - 15:50
who you are to an even greater degree to
  • 15:48 - 15:52
getting cleaner and clearer and more
  • 15:50 - 15:55
full and more robust and the best
  • 15:52 - 15:57
version of yourself like that process is
  • 15:55 - 15:58
a beautiful process I think it's one of
  • 15:57 - 16:00
the reasons why we're here it feels the
  • 15:58 - 16:03
best it feels the best to be continuing
  • 16:00 - 16:04
on the path but that doesn't mean that
  • 16:03 - 16:06
you look forward to a point in the past
  • 16:04 - 16:08
say when I get there I'll love myself
  • 16:06 - 16:10
when I get there I'll I made it like
  • 16:08 - 16:13
love yourself where you are wherever you
  • 16:10 - 16:15
are that's awesome let's still strive
  • 16:13 - 16:19
for more because the striving is the
  • 16:15 - 16:22
    journey it's always the striving
  • 16:19 - 16:24
if we were able to do like even a
  • 16:22 - 16:27
fraction of the things we know we should
  • 16:24 - 16:28
we would all be badasses you know but
  • 16:27 - 16:30
there's so many things you talk to me
  • 16:28 - 16:31
yeah I should be doing that yeah I
  • 16:30 - 16:33
should be doing I know I should be I
  • 16:31 - 16:35
should be meditating yeah I know I
  • 16:33 - 16:36
should be doing this I should be eating
  • 16:35 - 16:40
better I should be doing this and we all
  • 16:36 - 16:41
know what we want to do to be the best
  • 16:40 - 16:43
version of ourselves but for whatever
  • 16:41 - 16:45
reason we don't do it you know and
  • 16:43 - 16:47
there's a lot of reasons why but we're
  • 16:45 - 16:50
not doing it and so the ability to
  • 16:47 - 16:52
choose and actually decide what you're
  • 16:50 - 16:54
going to do to be the not well to be the
  • 16:52 - 16:56
art and say oh well if I believe I
  • 16:54 - 16:58
should meditate then I'll meditate and
  • 16:56 - 17:01
just collapsing that I know I should
  • 16:58 - 17:04
with actually doing it you know that is
  • 17:01 - 17:07
a superpower that's what defines the
  • 17:04 - 17:08
greatest performers from the people who
  • 17:07 - 17:10
haven't quite made it yet it's really
  • 17:08 - 17:12
their ability to say oh if I should
  • 17:10 - 17:14
train now I will know if I should eat
  • 17:12 - 17:16
like this I will oh if I should do this
  • 17:14 - 17:18
okay then I will it's collapsing that
  • 17:16 - 17:20
knowing what knowing what you should do
  • 17:18 - 17:23
and actually doing and making that one
  • 17:20 - 17:24
    and that's ultimately a choice
  • 17:23 - 17:28
    [Music]
  • 17:24 - 17:29
we have way more power than we recognize
  • 17:28 - 17:32
and what people will tell us that we
  • 17:29 - 17:34
have so stepping into that power and
  • 17:32 - 17:36
deciding for ourselves what we want to
  • 17:34 - 17:36
    do with it
  • 17:38 - 17:42
what time is it right now look at it
  • 17:41 - 17:46
    face it
  • 17:42 - 17:49
stand up to it what do you see what did
  • 17:46 - 17:52
that number say to you how much of this
  • 17:49 - 17:56
number have you wasted wasted on waiting
  • 17:52 - 17:59
waiting for what what is it that you're
  • 17:56 - 18:01
waiting for how much do you want ask
  • 17:59 - 18:05
    yourself this what's more valuable
  • 18:01 - 18:08
waiting or your time your power and your
  • 18:05 - 18:12
action this is where your journey starts
  • 18:08 - 18:15
this is where you grow grow adapt
  • 18:12 - 18:20
improve to become the person you admire
  • 18:15 - 18:24
this is you this can be you stop failing
  • 18:20 - 18:28
to respond to react this is how you
  • 18:24 - 18:31
shape your life how you construct your
  • 18:28 - 18:34
future make this what it is your success
  • 18:31 - 18:37
all this work now are the steps before
  • 18:34 - 18:40
you break the ribbon at the finish
  • 18:37 - 18:43
this is your opportunity to change
  • 18:40 - 18:45
change towards a better life towards a
  • 18:43 - 18:48
life where you are the director where
  • 18:45 - 18:50
you are the power the power that drives
  • 18:48 - 18:53
you forward to success the power that
  • 18:50 - 18:56
defines your life now that defines your
  • 18:53 - 18:58
legacy your future this is the time to
  • 18:56 - 19:01
become something more than or do
  • 18:58 - 19:04
something outside the realm of expected
  • 19:01 - 19:07
because you're more than you always have
  • 19:04 - 19:10
been but in order for you to become this
  • 19:07 - 19:13
you need to work you need to want it so
  • 19:10 - 19:15
much it pushes you it pushes you outside
  • 19:13 - 19:17
your comfort zone this is where it
  • 19:15 - 19:20
starts this is where you become
  • 19:17 - 19:23
    something something better than now
  • 19:20 - 19:26
where you build a life with yourself one
  • 19:23 - 19:29
where you hold the reins where you make
  • 19:26 - 19:33
the final cut where you have that power
  • 19:29 - 19:36
you deserve this you deserve to feel
  • 19:33 - 19:39
fulfilled proud and excited for this
  • 19:36 - 19:44
newfound success you will and can embody
  • 19:39 - 19:46
your future your legacy your life can
  • 19:44 - 19:50
    transform into the paradise you've
  • 19:46 - 19:52
always imagined it could be your life
  • 19:50 - 19:56
can change your life can be more than
  • 19:52 - 20:00
just a place it can be your future your
  • 19:56 - 20:03
success this change this change takes
  • 20:00 - 20:05
courage it takes courage to stand up and
  • 20:03 - 20:08
break down the aspects of your life that
  • 20:05 - 20:12
you know is holding you back
  • 20:08 - 20:15
let your progress be idolized let it
  • 20:12 - 20:19
speak for itself let it leave a mark so
  • 20:15 - 20:22
deep it can never be erased this den can
  • 20:19 - 20:24
have such a positive influence on your
  • 20:22 - 20:27
life that it can transform your future
  • 20:24 - 20:31
transform your life using the potential
  • 20:27 - 20:34
you know you've always had make your
  • 20:31 - 20:37
life worth remembering make it worth the
  • 20:34 - 20:41
pain it took the hours it used the
  • 20:37 - 20:44
effort put in know to take pride in your
  • 20:41 - 20:47
work know that your life can break all
  • 20:44 - 20:50
    possibilities break all boundaries and
  • 20:47 - 20:53
    become something beyond any expectations
  • 20:50 - 20:57
human letdown you face rejection and you
  • 20:53 - 21:01
failed fortunately when you hit that
  • 20:57 - 21:02
point the only place to go is up I want
  • 21:01 - 21:05
you to imagine that your life is a tree
  • 21:02 - 21:08
the failure that you've just faced is
  • 21:05 - 21:10
    actually a seed and it's a seed that's
  • 21:08 - 21:13
gonna grow your potential the light you
  • 21:10 - 21:16
need is your mindset and the water is
  • 21:13 - 21:19
your strength because the rejection you
  • 21:16 - 21:22
feel right now is sprouting your success
  • 21:19 - 21:24
and in order for you to grow you need to
  • 21:22 - 21:27
feel the pain the pain of the struggle
  • 21:24 - 21:29
is more than just some dark place you go
  • 21:27 - 21:31
    to it's actually a starting place a
  • 21:29 - 21:34
place to begin trying and a place you
  • 21:31 - 21:36
start to improve and that improvement
  • 21:34 - 21:38
can be the start of the making of your
  • 21:36 - 21:40
success look at me you're not five feet
  • 21:38 - 21:42
under you're five feet higher than any
  • 21:40 - 21:45
    position you've ever been it
  • 21:42 - 21:47
man stop bringing yourself down start
  • 21:45 - 21:50
learning that you are more than just
  • 21:47 - 21:52
your mistakes in fact they make you they
  • 21:50 - 21:53
make you grow and they make you branch
  • 21:52 - 21:56
out into a stronger and more courageous
  • 21:53 - 21:59
person give yourself the space to grow
  • 21:56 - 22:01
give yourself the space to grow into a
  • 21:59 - 22:03
better in a more successful person to
  • 22:01 - 22:04
see your potential is sprouting you've
  • 22:03 - 22:06
got a better foundation now because
  • 22:04 - 22:09
those roots are dug deep into the ground
  • 22:06 - 22:11
and if something breaks you down know
  • 22:09 - 22:13
that you can grow further past the point
  • 22:11 - 22:15
you were at before because this tree can
  • 22:13 - 22:17
only grow taller bigger and stronger
  • 22:15 - 22:19
because you are stronger now so you've
  • 22:17 - 22:21
got to know that this isn't a setback
  • 22:19 - 22:23
this is just another ingredient that you
  • 22:21 - 22:26
need for the success that's coming your
  • 22:23 - 22:29
    way it really is
  • 22:26 - 22:33
stop making excuses take control of your
  • 22:29 - 22:34
situation and rise to your potential man
  • 22:33 - 22:36
I don't think that we would be here if
  • 22:34 - 22:37
we didn't have a purpose I can tell you
  • 22:36 - 22:39
    that
  • 22:37 - 22:42
it's our job to develop that purposes
  • 22:39 - 22:44
I've dealt with find and hone in and
  • 22:42 - 22:46
craft that purpose and the purpose is
  • 22:44 - 22:48
usually crafted through some level of
  • 22:46 - 22:51
suffering it's the hero's journey right
  • 22:48 - 22:53
like in film you know the hero he's down
  • 22:51 - 22:56
and out and he loses the girl in the in
  • 22:53 - 22:57
the house and he goes on this journey
  • 22:56 - 22:58
and he finds strength and wisdom and
  • 22:57 - 23:01
knowledge and comes back and is now the
  • 22:58 - 23:07
hero we have to go through that level of
  • 23:01 - 23:16
    suffering there's this hunger that
  • 23:07 - 23:20
everyone has and it's always neutered my
  • 23:16 - 23:22
family my teachers my culture and I
  • 23:20 - 23:24
believe you wouldn't be put on this
  • 23:22 - 23:26
planet if you didn't have this hunger
  • 23:24 - 23:29
and if you explore this hunger and for
  • 23:26 - 23:30
me it was done being a fat kid than
  • 23:29 - 23:32
being a being a foreigner and then a fat
  • 23:30 - 23:34
kid and then fixing my problems and then
  • 23:32 - 23:36
realizing I have the solution to other
  • 23:34 - 23:39
    peoples weight-loss problems for someone
  • 23:36 - 23:40
else it might be a financial thing you
  • 23:39 - 23:42
know they fix their financial problems
  • 23:40 - 23:44
and they realize they can help everyone
  • 23:42 - 23:47
else's financial problems but you have
  • 23:44 - 23:48
to go through the suffering you have to
  • 23:47 - 23:52
be hungry enough to deal with the pain
  • 23:48 - 23:54
and come out the other side with some
  • 23:52 - 23:58
scars because scar tissue is infinitely
  • 23:54 - 24:00
more resilient than regular tissue but
  • 23:58 - 24:01
again goes back to most people feel like
  • 24:00 - 24:04
yeah I think there's something great in
  • 24:01 - 24:05
me but I don't want to explore it I want
  • 24:04 - 24:08
to play it safe I'm gonna stay bubble
  • 24:05 - 24:09
wraps I don't want to risk it but we
  • 24:08 - 24:10
wouldn't be put on this planet if we
  • 24:09 - 24:12
didn't have this greater thing to
  • 24:10 - 24:14
accomplish now some of us are going to
  • 24:12 - 24:16
be Elon Musk and were going to shoot a
  • 24:14 - 24:18
Tesla to the Mars right and that's okay
  • 24:16 - 24:20
and others are gonna create a fitness
  • 24:18 - 24:22
franchise or a or a supplement company
  • 24:20 - 24:24
that actually delivers you know great
  • 24:22 - 24:29
nutrients that help people in eyes their
  • 24:24 - 24:31
    performance whatever your purpose is
  • 24:29 - 24:33
you've got to develop it you got to
  • 24:31 - 24:34
develop it but you wouldn't be put on
  • 24:33 - 24:39
this planet if you didn't have it I'm
  • 24:34 - 24:41
convinced of that not enough people are
  • 24:39 - 24:44
willing to build that mental emotional
  • 24:41 - 24:48
toughness and the moment they do they'll
  • 24:44 - 24:50
    go perseverance nothing happens until
  • 24:48 - 24:52
you get done everyone's got a great idea
  • 24:50 - 24:54
it'll make me this many millions and
  • 24:52 - 24:57
it'll help this many people nothing
  • 24:54 - 24:58
happens so you get that done put
  • 24:57 - 24:59
yourself in a position where you're
  • 24:58 - 25:03
gonna thrive not where it's gonna be
  • 24:59 - 25:07
    comfortable right get done
  • 25:03 - 25:09
I believe we all are raised this fighter
  • 25:07 - 25:12
jets just we get neutered by parents by
  • 25:09 - 25:14
grandparents because of the filters they
  • 25:12 - 25:16
had and viewed life through the
  • 25:14 - 25:18
experiences they had teachers who go you
  • 25:16 - 25:19
don't want to disappoint yourself just
  • 25:18 - 25:22
go to college go get a good job go to
  • 25:19 - 25:23
college don't go to college today don't
  • 25:22 - 25:24
go to college it's the worst thing you
  • 25:23 - 25:28
can do and that's going to be a doctor
  • 25:24 - 25:30
or an attorney or accountant or you know
  • 25:28 - 25:31
some kind of an architect don't go to
  • 25:30 - 25:33
college you can do a lot more in life
  • 25:31 - 25:34
with that go to college and so again
  • 25:33 - 25:36
    teachers professors will end up
  • 25:34 - 25:38
neutering us and when they take they
  • 25:36 - 25:40
take that fighter jet that hunger the
  • 25:38 - 25:43
claws and fangs they've defamed us
  • 25:40 - 25:44
alright so now we're crop dusters I
  • 25:43 - 25:45
don't want to take too many risks I just
  • 25:44 - 25:47
want to live a good life and they want
  • 25:45 - 25:50
to be average and mediocre that's the
  • 25:47 - 25:52
crop duster yet everyone inside has this
  • 25:50 - 25:53
hunger see the fighter jet didn't go
  • 25:52 - 25:56
    away it's just been suppressed
  • 25:53 - 25:58
you've been neutered and that was me
  • 25:56 - 25:59
like hey don't take big Ridge just go
  • 25:58 - 26:00
get a good job go be a smog technician
  • 25:59 - 26:02
like that was the advice I was given
  • 26:00 - 26:04
gonna be a smog technician Society
  • 26:02 - 26:07
parents who ever have set the standard
  • 26:04 - 26:09
for you to not play it safe it risks
  • 26:07 - 26:10
what if you lose what have you lose you
  • 26:09 - 26:13
care as long as you don't die you can
  • 26:10 - 26:15
come right back and so the fighter jet
  • 26:13 - 26:18
mentality is that someone who is just
  • 26:15 - 26:20
    determined relentlessly obsessed and
  • 26:18 - 26:24
achieving an outcome in the face of all
  • 26:20 - 26:25
adversity the crop duster is someone
  • 26:24 - 26:27
who's always looking for the easiest
  • 26:25 - 26:29
path to loophole which what I used to be
  • 26:27 - 26:30
a severe crop duster the composter hits
  • 26:29 - 26:32
the snooze button every day because
  • 26:30 - 26:34
they'd rather take 10 more minutes of
  • 26:32 - 26:36
mediocre sleep than getting up and
  • 26:34 - 26:37
dominating their path every morning on
  • 26:36 - 26:40
my nightstand there's two stacks of
  • 26:37 - 26:42
dominoes lined up and at the top of this
  • 26:40 - 26:44
stack says you're a loser the top of
  • 26:42 - 26:46
this one says you're a winner if I hit
  • 26:44 - 26:47
the snooze button I've hit that first
  • 26:46 - 26:49
domino in the loser stack the rest of my
  • 26:47 - 26:50
day is gonna suck now with that
  • 26:49 - 26:53
mentality am I gonna ever hit snooze
  • 26:50 - 26:56
again absolutely not because I've sold
  • 26:53 - 26:58
myself on the idea that when I hit the
  • 26:56 - 27:00
snooze button I'm an absolute loser I'm
  • 26:58 - 27:02
scum of the earth I am my day is
  • 27:00 - 27:03
destined to be shitty now some people
  • 27:02 - 27:05
    are you being off
  • 27:03 - 27:07
yourself more people should be hard on
  • 27:05 - 27:09
themselves we go around bubble wrapping
  • 27:07 - 27:11
ourselves right we lead the training
  • 27:09 - 27:12
bills on for too long like be hard on
  • 27:11 - 27:14
yourself take up the bubble wrap off
  • 27:12 - 27:16
take the tikki training wheels out no
  • 27:14 - 27:18
one did that for me man to be a fighter
  • 27:16 - 27:20
jet me a fighter jet go to battle every
  • 27:18 - 27:23
day take risks that's what a fighter jet
  • 27:20 - 27:30
does a crop duster as a routine life and
  • 27:23 - 27:34
it's been boring every day is a new
  • 27:30 - 27:36
opportunity to change your life every
  • 27:34 - 27:40
day is a new opportunity to make your
  • 27:36 - 27:41
life a better place to live in your life
  • 27:40 - 27:43
    is at stake
  • 27:41 - 27:45
think right now what you've done
  • 27:43 - 27:46
differently from the things you did
  • 27:45 - 27:49
    yesterday
  • 27:46 - 27:50
perhaps you got up an hour earlier
  • 27:49 - 27:53
maybe you meditated or you went to the
  • 27:50 - 27:55
gym if you know that you haven't made
  • 27:53 - 27:57
    any change today
  • 27:55 - 28:01
then make this your day take this
  • 27:57 - 28:04
    opportunity change you're better than
  • 28:01 - 28:07
you were yesterday because you know that
  • 28:04 - 28:10
today and the day after that you will
  • 28:07 - 28:12
make progress you will know that you put
  • 28:10 - 28:15
in the work that you earned the
  • 28:12 - 28:17
improvement you need to push yourself so
  • 28:15 - 28:20
you feel the satisfaction that you've
  • 28:17 - 28:22
made further and further past your
  • 28:20 - 28:26
    original routine further and further
  • 28:22 - 28:29
past your failure there is nothing else
  • 28:26 - 28:33
you can do but work to work harder and
  • 28:29 - 28:35
harder the struggle is the only way you
  • 28:33 - 28:37
know you're going to succeed and take
  • 28:35 - 28:41
this new opportunity and make this
  • 28:37 - 28:46
change in your life you will be better
  • 28:41 - 28:48
take this risk take this opening this is
  • 28:46 - 28:50
the time to make your life a better
  • 28:48 - 28:52
place to make your future a place where
  • 28:50 - 28:55
    you can see yourself achieve
  • 28:52 - 28:57
a future where your life is somewhere
  • 28:55 - 29:01
where you can create your own Empire
  • 28:57 - 29:04
know that not all of your successes has
  • 29:01 - 29:07
to be exposed or flaunted be humble
  • 29:04 - 29:08
that's even more important than the
  • 29:07 - 29:13
    progress you've made
  • 29:08 - 29:16
use your success for you and only you
  • 29:13 - 29:19
use your success to boost your life into
  • 29:16 - 29:21
the next level use your success to make
  • 29:19 - 29:25
you grow into a more courageous and
  • 29:21 - 29:28
stronger person you are you for one
  • 29:25 - 29:31
reason to be yourself to use the
  • 29:28 - 29:34
potential you have as a person and make
  • 29:31 - 29:37
this your future use this as your first
  • 29:34 - 29:41
step into success change the way you
  • 29:37 - 29:44
view life switch your perspective of
  • 29:41 - 29:46
success and use it in the right place
  • 29:44 - 29:48
confident to stand up and take
  • 29:46 - 29:51
    responsibility for your mistakes and
  • 29:48 - 29:55
courageous enough to make mistakes in
  • 29:51 - 29:58
the first place educate yourself be this
  • 29:55 - 30:02
person become the person you've always
  • 29:58 - 30:04
wanted to be you need to make this
  • 30:02 - 30:08
transition for your future to make your
  • 30:04 - 30:11
life better and bigger you will be who
  • 30:08 - 30:12
you need to be motivate yourself with
  • 30:11 - 30:15
    that
  • 30:12 - 30:19
the vision of your future the future of
  • 30:15 - 30:19
    a successful life
  • 30:20 - 30:24
what's the favorite lesson you've ever
  • 30:22 - 30:26
learned what is your biggest achievement
  • 30:24 - 30:29
you've ever accomplished and then what
  • 30:26 - 30:31
is your greatest success I want you to
  • 30:29 - 30:34
think about it think about how you got
  • 30:31 - 30:36
there where you needed to be in order to
  • 30:34 - 30:39
get there in order for you to make that
  • 30:36 - 30:41
kind of progress what challenges did you
  • 30:39 - 30:42
have to pass what limits did you have to
  • 30:41 - 30:46
crush what hurdles that you have to
  • 30:42 - 30:48
overcome now I want you to think about
  • 30:46 - 30:50
that satisfaction that overcame you when
  • 30:48 - 30:53
you accomplish these things how did you
  • 30:50 - 30:56
feel and how do you need to feel right
  • 30:53 - 30:58
now feel like you have the opportunity
  • 30:56 - 30:59
to repeat those actions that you once
  • 30:58 - 31:03
did because let me tell you right now
  • 30:59 - 31:05
you do make the progress now make your
  • 31:03 - 31:08
progress for the better for you to make
  • 31:05 - 31:10
more progress you have that potential
  • 31:08 - 31:13
now go ahead and spark your success and
  • 31:10 - 31:15
    spark your inspiration that inspiration
  • 31:13 - 31:19
it yields the progress that you need to
  • 31:15 - 31:21
make use the tools you have use your
  • 31:19 - 31:24
tools because no one can do it like you
  • 31:21 - 31:26
can all right use this inspiration while
  • 31:24 - 31:29
you have the opening stop living in the
  • 31:26 - 31:33
past start thinking about your future
  • 31:29 - 31:36
the future where you can succeed that
  • 31:33 - 31:37
future is actually happening around you
  • 31:36 - 31:39
    right now
  • 31:37 - 31:43
so take control of your future now by
  • 31:39 - 31:45
living in the present living for now
  • 31:43 - 31:48
because that at the end of the day
  • 31:45 - 31:52
is the only thing that mattered boost
  • 31:48 - 31:56
your life make your life and live your
  • 31:52 - 31:58
life it's this time in history that most
  • 31:56 - 32:00
people are wasting on the wrong stuff
  • 31:58 - 32:01
they're spending it on Netflix or
  • 32:00 - 32:02
fortnight or going out with their
  • 32:01 - 32:04
friends are drinking and if you want to
  • 32:02 - 32:06
do that that's fine you know enjoy your
  • 32:04 - 32:08
can mediocre ship life but like there's
  • 32:06 - 32:12
so much more that you can do with weird
  • 32:08 - 32:14
knowledge and studying you make a
  • 32:12 - 32:15
mistake it's a part of life it's part of
  • 32:14 - 32:17
the journey you know you have to
  • 32:15 - 32:20
appreciate the lows you have to respect
  • 32:17 - 32:21
the lows celebrate the highs but respect
  • 32:20 - 32:23
the lows don't block them out and don't
  • 32:21 - 32:24
ignore them in order to be successful I
  • 32:23 - 32:27
think this is the biggest thing you have
  • 32:24 - 32:29
to be so dedicated to your craft and so
  • 32:27 - 32:31
    passionate about it so single-minded
  • 32:29 - 32:33
    focus on that
  • 32:31 - 32:35
you know tasks and most people just
  • 32:33 - 32:36
don't take you that seriously they're
  • 32:35 - 32:38
like yeah I want to be a millionaire
  • 32:36 - 32:40
yeah like well I meet people and they're
  • 32:38 - 32:42
like oh you're that millionaire and it
  • 32:40 - 32:44
like a smile comes on their face like oh
  • 32:42 - 32:45
how do I become a millionaire but they
  • 32:44 - 32:47
don't really believe it they're not
  • 32:45 - 32:50
asking seriously they don't they're not
  • 32:47 - 32:51
willing to put in the thousands of hours
  • 32:50 - 32:53
requires like there's no magic formula
  • 32:51 - 32:55
this isn't like get-rich-quick and those
  • 32:53 - 32:57
people who do get rich like the lotto
  • 32:55 - 32:58
winners like they're tough because they
  • 32:57 - 33:00
    didn't earn it they don't don't
  • 32:58 - 33:03
appreciate it they don't understand it I
  • 33:00 - 33:06
think that going through the ups and the
  • 33:03 - 33:07
downs is what makes you appreciate
  • 33:06 - 33:09
    everything
  • 33:07 - 33:11
    [Music]
  • 33:09 - 33:13
you have to find meaning and for me and
  • 33:11 - 33:15
a lot of people like you know you're on
  • 33:13 - 33:17
this journey like I want to be
  • 33:15 - 33:18
successful I want to be rich that's what
  • 33:17 - 33:21
I want but what about when you get there
  • 33:18 - 33:22
you don't have a plan for that so now
  • 33:21 - 33:24
I'm trying to teach you know all about
  • 33:22 - 33:25
charity and giving back in the lessons
  • 33:24 - 33:27
that I've learned now from being rich
  • 33:25 - 33:29
for several years and it's not what you
  • 33:27 - 33:31
might think there's a lot of stuff that
  • 33:29 - 33:35
comes with being rich and you don't
  • 33:31 - 33:35
realize it and you know that's life
  • 33:36 - 33:40
because the world and even school
  • 33:38 - 33:44
teaches you teaches us in so many ways
  • 33:40 - 33:46
to you know work on our weaknesses to
  • 33:44 - 33:48
get stronger and I think that's a huge
  • 33:46 - 33:49
flaw I think we just get great at what
  • 33:48 - 33:51
we're good at we only need to be good at
  • 33:49 - 33:54
one or two things and we can make an
  • 33:51 - 33:54
    impact on the world
  • 33:55 - 34:00
everybody's in a vehicle like your
  • 33:57 - 34:01
wealth creation vehicle whether that's a
  • 34:00 - 34:03
job you don't like or a job you do like
  • 34:01 - 34:05
or business you started or business
  • 34:03 - 34:07
that's crushing or business it's not
  • 34:05 - 34:10
doing great you have this vehicle and
  • 34:07 - 34:11
when this vehicle is not working we're
  • 34:10 - 34:13
looking on the road of all the other
  • 34:11 - 34:15
shiny cars and it's like oh man I tried
  • 34:13 - 34:17
selling stuff on Amazon that's not
  • 34:15 - 34:18
working I'm gonna go in the car business
  • 34:17 - 34:20
the real estate business I'm gonna go in
  • 34:18 - 34:22
a speaking business the the nutrition
  • 34:20 - 34:24
business the suppli and you're looking
  • 34:22 - 34:27
for another car to jump in and I realize
  • 34:24 - 34:29
people jump from car to car to car their
  • 34:27 - 34:30
whole life looking for satiation looking
  • 34:29 - 34:32
for satisfaction looking to make more
  • 34:30 - 34:34
money if you can stop jumping from
  • 34:32 - 34:36
vehicle to vehicle the vehicle you're in
  • 34:34 - 34:37
might be the right vehicle but you don't
  • 34:36 - 34:39
have the right habits or the right
  • 34:37 - 34:41
beliefs or the right rules whatever you
  • 34:39 - 34:42
want to call it my books habit so I call
  • 34:41 - 34:44
them habits but it's really the
  • 34:42 - 34:46
foundation for success so you can
  • 34:44 - 34:48
overcome the obstacles you don't like
  • 34:46 - 34:50
negative people in your life steer you
  • 34:48 - 34:52
in different directions it doesn't you
  • 34:50 - 34:54
know even people who ask me about
  • 34:52 - 34:56
productivity people say how do you get
  • 34:54 - 34:58
so much done how do you run a business
  • 34:56 - 34:59
and still coach the little league in
  • 34:58 - 35:01
baseball and saw how do you do all those
  • 34:59 - 35:05
things it's because of just simple
  • 35:01 - 35:07
success habits like I just wrote
  • 35:05 - 35:08
something on this recently I said you
  • 35:07 - 35:10
have to treat your decisions for
  • 35:08 - 35:12
    productivity like binary thinking which
  • 35:10 - 35:15
is X's and O's black and black or white
  • 35:12 - 35:16
yes or no is this moving me toward a
  • 35:15 - 35:22
better version of myself a wealthier
  • 35:16 - 35:24
version a happier person or is it not we
  • 35:22 - 35:25
never give ourselves credit we'd never
  • 35:24 - 35:27
treat a friend the way we treat
  • 35:25 - 35:28
ourselves it's like I know I've had days
  • 35:27 - 35:30
I've gone till 10 o'clock at night go
  • 35:28 - 35:32
man I got nothing done today the biggest
  • 35:30 - 35:34
lie like we beat ourselves up we just
  • 35:32 - 35:36
were like these racehorses we wouldn't
  • 35:34 - 35:38
even treat a racehorse that we owned as
  • 35:36 - 35:40
bad as we treat ourselves right so I
  • 35:38 - 35:41
wake up and I'll do a quick little
  • 35:40 - 35:43
gratitude and they'll say what was one
  • 35:41 - 35:45
win yesterday that I accomplished I'm
  • 35:43 - 35:47
like wow you didn't do that yes and then
  • 35:45 - 35:49
I'll think of one win I want to do that
  • 35:47 - 35:50
day like what I'm gonna need a million
  • 35:49 - 35:53
things done thing what's a must today
  • 35:50 - 35:53
that would be a great win
  • 35:55 - 35:59
I don't think we should drive for money
  • 35:57 - 36:01
I think we should drive to be a better
  • 35:59 - 36:04
version of ourselves when money was no
  • 36:01 - 36:06
longer a worry for me I drove into me
  • 36:04 - 36:08
and I have been ignoring and tucking
  • 36:06 - 36:11
down a lot of crap for a lot of years
  • 36:08 - 36:13
and I was surface-level I look like the
  • 36:11 - 36:14
guy that had it all going on but
  • 36:13 - 36:16
businesses are doing good I'm amazing
  • 36:14 - 36:18
children company thriving I live in the
  • 36:16 - 36:20
right neighborhood Drive do I have the
  • 36:18 - 36:24
right friends I thinking looked great
  • 36:20 - 36:27
but it was all masked and when money got
  • 36:24 - 36:29
out of the way I was able to find
  • 36:27 - 36:31
digging to me and do my own personal
  • 36:29 - 36:34
development and my own personal growth
  • 36:31 - 36:35
and really find the things that I wanted
  • 36:34 - 36:39
to fix so I could become a better
  • 36:35 - 36:40
version there might be something that
  • 36:39 - 36:43
makes you a lot of money but it robs
  • 36:40 - 36:44
your soul so there's that balance and I
  • 36:43 - 36:46
think that doesn't happen oh that
  • 36:44 - 36:48
doesn't happen in your 20s and maybe not
  • 36:46 - 36:50
in your 30s at least been for me I was
  • 36:48 - 36:52
just fighting to be successful in my 20s
  • 36:50 - 36:53
and 30s but this face I wish someone
  • 36:52 - 36:55
would have grabbed me at 25 and said
  • 36:53 - 36:56
you're gonna make all the money you want
  • 36:55 - 36:59
you'll have all the success you want
  • 36:56 - 36:59
make sure your soul is aligned with that
  • 36:59 - 37:01
    money
  • 36:59 - 37:04
and every time I don't know about you
  • 37:01 - 37:05
every time I align my values my soul my
  • 37:04 - 37:08
purpose whatever it is you want to call
  • 37:05 - 37:10
it with my businesses and my profits
  • 37:08 - 37:15
they always soar without having to
  • 37:10 - 37:15
obsess on the you know on the numbers
  • 37:16 - 37:22
great people don't have anything magic
  • 37:19 - 37:25
they worked relentlessly for years and
  • 37:22 - 37:27
years they decided that they were going
  • 37:25 - 37:29
to be great they decided that they
  • 37:27 - 37:32
didn't want to sit back and hide they
  • 37:29 - 37:33
decided that they wanted to shine they
  • 37:32 - 37:36
decided that their name would be in
  • 37:33 - 37:41
lights and people would admire what they
  • 37:36 - 37:44
do if not for you decide to be great for
  • 37:41 - 37:47
the world success never stops never
  • 37:44 - 37:49
stops to breathe never takes a day off
  • 37:47 - 37:51
never looks to take a break we already
  • 37:49 - 37:54
have enough problems on this planet be
  • 37:51 - 37:56
different be a person who makes a
  • 37:54 - 37:59
difference be a person who makes a
  • 37:56 - 38:02
change for good be a person who has an
  • 37:59 - 38:04
impact on the world you need to become
  • 38:02 - 38:07
someone and you need to become your
  • 38:04 - 38:10
future you're gonna handle your power
  • 38:07 - 38:13
and feel your potential you gotta feel
  • 38:10 - 38:16
this pain to progress to change to feel
  • 38:13 - 38:18
fulfilled to feel satisfaction this is
  • 38:16 - 38:23
where everything can and trust me it all
  • 38:18 - 38:27
will fall into place stop denying the
  • 38:23 - 38:30
world of your greatness you need to see
  • 38:27 - 38:33
every single day as a bank account
  • 38:30 - 38:36
nobody is poor nobody is rich
  • 38:33 - 38:39
everyone has 24 hours each and how you
  • 38:36 - 38:43
spend your balance each day will decide
  • 38:39 - 38:46
who you become now pay attention to
  • 38:43 - 38:49
every detail take every day like it's a
  • 38:46 - 38:52
brand new spankin opportunity take every
  • 38:49 - 38:53
risk as if it's a stepping stone into
  • 38:52 - 38:56
the future you're carving out for
  • 38:53 - 38:58
yourself because you have control you
  • 38:56 - 39:01
have the control to change in the
  • 38:58 - 39:05
control to improve the action and
  • 39:01 - 39:08
    improvement spend your time wisely
  • 39:05 - 39:08
do not waste it on things out of your
  • 39:08 - 39:12
    control
  • 39:08 - 39:15
if the weather is bad do not waste time
  • 39:12 - 39:18
feeling down about it if it is out of
  • 39:15 - 39:22
your control move past it look for the
  • 39:18 - 39:24
things that you can control it all takes
  • 39:22 - 39:26
resilience resilience to push past any
  • 39:24 - 39:29
boundaries and push through every risk
  • 39:26 - 39:32
    every hardship every wrong
  • 39:29 - 39:35
turn right now right here is an open
  • 39:32 - 39:40
door the door that puts you on the path
  • 39:35 - 39:43
towards success losing 24 hours because
  • 39:40 - 39:46
of the bad 10 minutes is like throwing
  • 39:43 - 39:50
$10,000 away because you dropped a few
  • 39:46 - 39:52
pennies you have control you have
  • 39:50 - 39:53
control over your future a future fueled
  • 39:52 - 39:55
by your success constructed by your
  • 39:53 - 39:57
progress it all begins right here and it
  • 39:55 - 39:59
all starts right now don't waste one
  • 39:57 - 40:01
more minute sitting and thinking I want
  • 39:59 - 40:03
you to spend your next minute acting
  • 40:01 - 40:05
take your own direction and write your
  • 40:03 - 40:07
own rules you need to write the next
  • 40:05 - 40:09
chapter the next chapter that pushes you
  • 40:07 - 40:13
through towards a story and a story that
  • 40:09 - 40:16
you can finally be proud of now is the
  • 40:13 - 40:20
time to become someone you believe in
  • 40:16 - 40:23
someone with purpose don't stop now
  • 40:20 - 40:35
don't stop until you know you can make
  • 40:23 - 40:39
it stand up to your success stand up to
  • 40:35 - 40:42
your power this is your opportunity take
  • 40:39 - 40:49
it take it like you own it because you
  • 40:42 - 40:52
do be sure know your purpose your worth
  • 40:49 - 40:57
your intention your drive to strive
  • 40:52 - 41:01
towards success life is in your hands it
  • 40:57 - 41:01
has always been in your hands
  • 41:01 - 41:08
this is the time this is the time to
  • 41:05 - 41:11
make it past your fears your boundaries
  • 41:08 - 41:15
this is the time you break them shatter
  • 41:11 - 41:18
them make them a part of you build your
  • 41:15 - 41:23
future from the remains this is where it
  • 41:18 - 41:26
starts now is the time to succeed the
  • 41:23 - 41:28
power is in your hands the power to be
  • 41:26 - 41:32
    something more something that has
  • 41:28 - 41:35
potential you know that you've always
  • 41:32 - 41:38
had it take the opportunity take the
  • 41:35 - 41:44
risk take the risk now before it's too
  • 41:38 - 41:49
late it's never too late never stop this
  • 41:44 - 41:53
is where you can begin work hard work
  • 41:49 - 41:56
become the person you admire you know
  • 41:53 - 42:00
that you can be the best all it takes is
  • 41:56 - 42:04
power drive and work work until it hurts
  • 42:00 - 42:09
this is where you succeed this is how
  • 42:04 - 42:12
you succeed you can be you can be so
  • 42:09 - 42:14
much more start thinking about what
  • 42:12 - 42:14
    you're actually doing
  • 42:14 - 42:19
like you're gonna only be so pretty
  • 42:17 - 42:20
you're only gonna be so smart like you
  • 42:19 - 42:22
like there's there's things are gonna be
  • 42:20 - 42:25
natural and there's things that you can
  • 42:22 - 42:26
actually control I do believe and I
  • 42:25 - 42:29
    don't know if I'm right or wrong I don't
  • 42:26 - 42:32
but I do believe that work ethic is a
  • 42:29 - 42:34
taught behavior it's something you do
  • 42:32 - 42:36
    have more control over
  • 42:34 - 42:39
I feel like there's a shift that can
  • 42:36 - 42:42
make people work harder the big one that
  • 42:39 - 42:44
I push is you're gonna die like like if
  • 42:42 - 42:46
your complaint like to me life is broken
  • 42:44 - 42:48
down into complaining and not so if
  • 42:46 - 42:50
you're not complaining well then I know
  • 42:48 - 42:55
I have no advice for you but I'm pumped
  • 42:50 - 42:57
like you did it great people don't have
  • 42:55 - 43:01
    anything magic they worked relentlessly
  • 42:57 - 43:04
for years and years they decided that
  • 43:01 - 43:05
they were going to be great they decided
  • 43:04 - 43:08
that they didn't want to sit back and
  • 43:05 - 43:10
hide they decided that they wanted to
  • 43:08 - 43:12
shine they decided that their name would
  • 43:10 - 43:17
be in lights and people would admire
  • 43:12 - 43:20
what they do if not for you decide to be
  • 43:17 - 43:20
    great for the world
  • 43:20 - 43:25
I think so many people are keyboard
  • 43:22 - 43:27
    activists right everybody's good at
  • 43:25 - 43:29
sending a tweet about how the world
  • 43:27 - 43:30
should be and nobody's doing anything
  • 43:29 - 43:33
about it and that just that is just very
  • 43:30 - 43:34
    much human nature
  • 43:33 - 43:36
    [Music]
  • 43:34 - 43:38
but let's not be naive I mean people
  • 43:36 - 43:41
    literally complain when somebody gives
  • 43:38 - 43:45
them the wrong amount of like extra
  • 43:41 - 43:48
cream in a Starbucks $6 coffee my lack
  • 43:45 - 43:50
of interest in complaining is so high
  • 43:48 - 43:52
and when I watch what people complain
  • 43:50 - 43:54
about it breaks my heart because they
  • 43:52 - 43:56
    completely lack perspective and i
  • 43:54 - 43:58
    genuinely believe my happiness and
  • 43:56 - 44:00
optimism comes from my perspective even
  • 43:58 - 44:02
in political unrest times like right now
  • 44:00 - 44:04
a lot of people very bent out of shape
  • 44:02 - 44:07
but the reality is is that it just never
  • 44:04 - 44:08
been better to be a human being it's
  • 44:07 - 44:12
that's just the truth that's just data
  • 44:08 - 44:15
    that's that's reality and yeah I mean
  • 44:12 - 44:19
it's just a very fun time to be alive so
  • 44:15 - 44:21
much going on be prepared in life for a
  • 44:19 - 44:23
lot of rejection because if you're
  • 44:21 - 44:25
prepared for a lot of rejection it comes
  • 44:23 - 44:26
you don't get turned off you don't get
  • 44:25 - 44:27
disappointed like well I'm not gonna do
  • 44:26 - 44:30
this anymore no one thinks it's a good
  • 44:27 - 44:31
idea it's like I say selling
  • 44:30 - 44:34
    encyclopedias not kinda hundred doors
  • 44:31 - 44:37
they slab them you're faced you must be
  • 44:34 - 44:40
just as enthusiastic on door number 101
  • 44:37 - 44:40
    as door number one
  • 44:42 - 44:47
    [Music]
  • 44:44 - 44:47
we're all worth far more than anyone can
  • 44:47 - 44:51
    imagine
  • 44:47 - 44:52
our power honestly is endless in our
  • 44:51 - 44:54
potential has the power and make
  • 44:52 - 44:59
something real out of the life you live
  • 44:54 - 45:02
that's crazy but your life is now you
  • 44:59 - 45:04
can alter your future this is where you
  • 45:02 - 45:09
begin to and this is where you start to
  • 45:04 - 45:10
succeed now this moment around you right
  • 45:09 - 45:12
    now
  • 45:10 - 45:16
that's the secret power that you have
  • 45:12 - 45:18
time is your power this time you have
  • 45:16 - 45:23
the potential to succeed to be something
  • 45:18 - 45:25
with purpose someone with power there's
  • 45:23 - 45:27
so many people there talking about how
  • 45:25 - 45:28
big of an entrepreneur they're gonna be
  • 45:27 - 45:32
and how much they're gonna achieve and
  • 45:28 - 45:34
    they don't work on weekends
  • 45:32 - 45:36
you know I worked every Saturday of my
  • 45:34 - 45:39
20s like and I talk to 20 year old
  • 45:36 - 45:40
    entrepreneurs every single day lately
  • 45:39 - 45:42
I've been saying to them this Saturday
  • 45:40 - 45:44
you're gonna have more time off than
  • 45:42 - 45:46
I've had in my entire 20s on a Saturday
  • 45:44 - 45:47
so like before you tell me how you're
  • 45:46 - 45:49
    gonna be bigger than me
  • 45:47 - 45:52
    start thinking about what you're
  • 45:49 - 45:52
    actually doing
  • 45:54 - 46:00
    we're beating ourselves up like
  • 45:57 - 46:03
everybody sucks at something right like
  • 46:00 - 46:05
we all have shortcomings and we all have
  • 46:03 - 46:07
strengths and for me it's like why don't
  • 46:05 - 46:08
we just audit that like why don't we
  • 46:07 - 46:09
just look at it that way and be like
  • 46:08 - 46:12
alright well I'm good at this but I'm
  • 46:09 - 46:13
not good at that like and then and then
  • 46:12 - 46:16
and then I only focus what I'm good at
  • 46:13 - 46:18
    right like I don't dwell that I can't
  • 46:16 - 46:20
fix it around the house I call somebody
  • 46:18 - 46:21
to fix it like I'm not like I'm not a
  • 46:20 - 46:23
man I don't give a fuck like you know
  • 46:21 - 46:26
    like like you know like I don't I don't
  • 46:23 - 46:27
get it like we all like I also think
  • 46:26 - 46:29
it's awesome that I'm so emotionally
  • 46:27 - 46:31
stable and I'm the emotional backbone of
  • 46:29 - 46:33
everybody is that what a dude's supposed
  • 46:31 - 46:34
to do like like these cliches these
  • 46:33 - 46:37
    stereotypes they're so silly
  • 46:34 - 46:40
    you're exactly right man I don't judge
  • 46:37 - 46:41
myself I'm fully in love with myself but
  • 46:40 - 46:43
I'm also fully in love with everybody
  • 46:41 - 46:44
else too right it's not like like it
  • 46:43 - 46:46
    goes both ways
  • 46:44 - 46:48
like I tell people to buy into me that
  • 46:46 - 46:53
work for me it's cuz I buy into them
  • 46:48 - 46:59
first like I don't need anybody to gain
  • 46:53 - 47:03
    trust with me I've it's they're like I
  • 46:59 - 47:07
believe if the human race is so grossly
  • 47:03 - 47:09
underrated we are good of course we have
  • 47:07 - 47:12
some bad there's and seven billion of us
  • 47:09 - 47:14
but like when you look at our net score
  • 47:12 - 47:16
it's bonger like you know any damage we
  • 47:14 - 47:19
can be doing to each other on a hourly
  • 47:16 - 47:22
basis and we don't like we're still here
  • 47:19 - 47:24
like we won were the Alpha being and
  • 47:22 - 47:26
we've figured out how to stay together
  • 47:24 - 47:29
this is insane when you think about it
  • 47:26 - 47:36
and yet everybody wants to dwell on like
  • 47:29 - 47:38
somebody said something mean we already
  • 47:36 - 47:40
have enough problems on this planet be
  • 47:38 - 47:42
different be a person who makes a
  • 47:40 - 47:45
difference be a person who makes a
  • 47:42 - 47:48
change for good be a person who has an
  • 47:45 - 47:52
    impact on the world
  • 47:48 - 47:55
stop denying the world of your greatness
  • 47:52 - 47:57
you need to see every single day as a
  • 47:55 - 48:00
    bank account
  • 47:57 - 48:03
nobody is poor nobody is rich
  • 48:00 - 48:06
everyone has 24 hours each and how you
  • 48:03 - 48:10
spend your balance each day will decide
  • 48:06 - 48:13
who you become spend your time wisely
  • 48:10 - 48:18
do not waste it on things out of your
  • 48:13 - 48:20
control be prepared for a lot of
  • 48:18 - 48:22
rejection whether it's in their personal
  • 48:20 - 48:23
life that someone says you're too old
  • 48:22 - 48:25
    you're too fat you're too young you're
  • 48:23 - 48:26
not going to do anything other than yes
  • 48:25 - 48:28
you've got holes in your nose you got
  • 48:26 - 48:29
    these coming out your ears
  • 48:28 - 48:31
whatever is other than yes this is
  • 48:29 - 48:34
wonderful realize this can happen in
  • 48:31 - 48:36
life as soon as people know that when
  • 48:34 - 48:40
something goes wrong they look at a
  • 48:36 - 48:40
piece of paper oh yeah that reminds me
  • 48:40 - 48:46
but the best thing that happened to me
  • 48:42 - 48:48
no one helped me no one felt sorry for
  • 48:46 - 48:50
me no one looked at me and said like
  • 48:48 - 48:52
this day and age though they'll take you
  • 48:50 - 48:56
in and it'll tell you bye stop picking
  • 48:52 - 48:57
on this person back then any care the
  • 48:56 - 49:00
only person that's to turn this person
  • 48:57 - 49:02
around it's me you don't reckon
  • 49:00 - 49:05
turnaround is put myself through the
  • 49:02 - 49:07
worst things possible a human being
  • 49:05 - 49:10
could ever endure and I'd be the only
  • 49:07 - 49:12
way that I can build this brain to
  • 49:10 - 49:14
handle anything that comes in front of
  • 49:12 - 49:16
him callus in my mind through pain and
  • 49:14 - 49:18
    suffering
  • 49:16 - 49:21
don't be afraid to step up to your fears
  • 49:18 - 49:23
don't be afraid to even become your
  • 49:21 - 49:25
fears take this opportunity now to be
  • 49:23 - 49:27
worthy of the success you want to be the
  • 49:25 - 49:29
person that you admire someone who takes
  • 49:27 - 49:31
extra steps to be more than they could
  • 49:29 - 49:34
ever imagine those extra steps putting
  • 49:31 - 49:34
    in those extra hours
  • 49:35 - 49:42
as humans we we want to find out how to
  • 49:38 - 49:45
be someone else what we don't do is we
  • 49:42 - 49:47
don't go inside so literally turn
  • 49:45 - 49:48
yourself inside out read the book that
  • 49:47 - 49:50
says like like we're writing a book
  • 49:48 - 49:53
every day for life but we never read
  • 49:50 - 49:54
that book so what I would challenge this
  • 49:53 - 49:57
young man or or you don't want me to do
  • 49:54 - 49:58
is you have to look inside of here so if
  • 49:57 - 50:00
you see what you really want what are
  • 49:58 - 50:02
you passionate about we use these words
  • 50:00 - 50:04
and these little phrases of only the
  • 50:02 - 50:11
strong survive and also the crap they're
  • 50:04 - 50:14
all just fucking words take this as your
  • 50:11 - 50:18
opportunity to change your life for the
  • 50:14 - 50:21
better to enjoy the life you deserve to
  • 50:18 - 50:24
have the future you've worked for the
  • 50:21 - 50:27
future you know you can have use this as
  • 50:24 - 50:31
a tool a tool to motivate your life
  • 50:27 - 50:32
through your success this is where it
  • 50:31 - 50:34
    all starts
  • 50:32 - 50:38
kick off your life in the direction that
  • 50:34 - 50:41
pushes you towards a life a life where
  • 50:38 - 50:43
you can take control make sure you know
  • 50:41 - 50:46
    which direction you're headed in
  • 50:43 - 50:50
organize your world in your favor your
  • 50:46 - 50:53
favor for your purpose for your future
  • 50:50 - 50:56
this is the opening to take you towards
  • 50:53 - 50:59
a life full of success you have this
  • 50:56 - 51:04
control you have always had this power
  • 50:59 - 51:07
unleash the animal the only way you're
  • 51:04 - 51:10
ever going to get to the other side of
  • 51:07 - 51:16
this journey is you have got to suffer
  • 51:10 - 51:18
to grow to grow you must suffer and some
  • 51:16 - 51:19
people will get it something wrong but
  • 51:18 - 51:21
they have to see what their journey is
  • 51:19 - 51:22
to start their journey several people
  • 51:21 - 51:24
live to be 100 years old
  • 51:22 - 51:25
they have great lives and they have
  • 51:24 - 51:27
great kids the kids go to college long
  • 51:25 - 51:30
sort of stuff but somewhere in their
  • 51:27 - 51:33
life there was a point where they had a
  • 51:30 - 51:36
decision to make they can go left or
  • 51:33 - 51:36
    right on this path
  • 51:36 - 51:41
left was the easy route right was a hard
  • 51:40 - 51:45
    rock
  • 51:41 - 51:47
    [Music]
  • 51:45 - 51:49
allows you to take the easy route and
  • 51:47 - 51:51
they had a good life that way
  • 51:49 - 51:55
but the better life was going to the
  • 51:51 - 51:57
right side and you may have 20 years of
  • 51:55 - 51:59
pain and suffering to get past it but a
  • 51:57 - 52:02
lot of us die never truly starting our
  • 51:59 - 52:04
journey and I would tell this to a
  • 52:02 - 52:07
person you got to start your journey it
  • 52:04 - 52:08
may suck but it will it will come out
  • 52:07 - 52:10
the other side where you're coasting
  • 52:08 - 52:14
just keep doing the right thing and the
  • 52:10 - 52:19
good thing it'll happen the reason
  • 52:14 - 52:23
people change is because of pain my
  • 52:19 - 52:30
relationship with pain runs deep and
  • 52:23 - 52:34
it's complicated on the one hand I love
  • 52:30 - 52:38
pain I love trying to push the outer
  • 52:34 - 52:42
edges of envelope of what the pain
  • 52:38 - 52:45
experience is in a physical sense and
  • 52:42 - 52:47
it's also been my greatest teacher in
  • 52:45 - 52:50
terms of things that I've accomplished
  • 52:47 - 52:52
but also my errant ways as well
  • 52:50 - 52:58
pain is truly the only thing that's ever
  • 52:52 - 53:00
gotten me to change so it's been my
  • 52:58 - 53:05
growth accelerator as well as my
  • 53:00 - 53:06
reminder of when I've gone astray okay
  • 53:05 - 53:08
so there's a difference between pain and
  • 53:06 - 53:11
    suffering there's a difference between
  • 53:08 - 53:14
there were we're all suffering we all
  • 53:11 - 53:17
have suffering we all have an emptiness
  • 53:14 - 53:18
or a dark place or corners inside of our
  • 53:17 - 53:21
spirit in our mind that are not
  • 53:18 - 53:24
fulfilled and watered and full like we
  • 53:21 - 53:25
all can relate to that and when I'm
  • 53:24 - 53:28
talking about pain I'm not necessarily
  • 53:25 - 53:30
    talking about suffering but
  • 53:28 - 53:32
    acknowledging our suffering being in
  • 53:30 - 53:34
touch with the pain that's enough to say
  • 53:32 - 53:36
when you're really honest that's enough
  • 53:34 - 53:39
    to say I
  • 53:36 - 53:41
I don't want to do the same like this is
  • 53:39 - 53:43
not the person I want to become and be
  • 53:41 - 53:46
on a regular basis if that's the case if
  • 53:43 - 53:48
that assumption is right then as a loved
  • 53:46 - 53:52
one my job is to help you get real and
  • 53:48 - 53:55
experience those places as often as you
  • 53:52 - 53:58
can so that you make the declaration to
  • 53:55 - 54:02
say no no no that's not okay for me to
  • 53:58 - 54:05
feel and be this way on a regular basis
  • 54:02 - 54:09
you know we're so conditioned to avoid
  • 54:05 - 54:11
pain every message that we see every
  • 54:09 - 54:14
    billboard we see every advertisement
  • 54:11 - 54:16
that we're exposed to is telling us that
  • 54:14 - 54:20
happiness can be can be purchased
  • 54:16 - 54:23
through comfort luxury through ease and
  • 54:20 - 54:25
that's sort of implicit in that is that
  • 54:23 - 54:27
that's how we find happiness and I can
  • 54:25 - 54:30
tell you that I'm happiest and most
  • 54:27 - 54:33
alive when I'm butting up against the
  • 54:30 - 54:35
outer edges of my pain threshold and I'm
  • 54:33 - 54:38
not afraid of it and so when I start to
  • 54:35 - 54:40
feel that sensation rather than shirk
  • 54:38 - 54:45
away from it I realize that's an
  • 54:40 - 54:48
    opportunity to experience a heightened
  • 54:45 - 54:52
sense of myself in my environment to
  • 54:48 - 54:54
really be in a position where everything
  • 54:52 - 54:57
else falls away and it's just you and
  • 54:54 - 55:01
your ability to take one step forward
  • 54:57 - 55:04
there's a purity to that that again
  • 55:01 - 55:06
isn't another great feature and so in
  • 55:04 - 55:09
terms of techniques I've just learned
  • 55:06 - 55:12
through experience that just like David
  • 55:09 - 55:14
Goggin says when the signals that you're
  • 55:12 - 55:16
receiving are telling you to stop that
  • 55:14 - 55:17
you don't necessarily have to pay
  • 55:16 - 55:21
attention to that that that you are
  • 55:17 - 55:25
capable of so much more if you can
  • 55:21 - 55:27
develop the acuity the presence of mind
  • 55:25 - 55:30
and the wherewithal to then take that
  • 55:27 - 55:32
next step and when you're on the other
  • 55:30 - 55:34
side of it to realize you're still okay
  • 55:32 - 55:37
and you can take another step and a
  • 55:34 - 55:39
whole your horizon extends and you
  • 55:37 - 55:42
realize that there's a whole world of
  • 55:39 - 55:45
    potential and possibility available to
  • 55:42 - 55:53
you that you weren't previously aware of
  • 55:45 - 55:56
    [Music]
  • 55:53 - 56:00
never should never exist in your world
  • 55:56 - 56:02
if you want to improve if you can see
  • 56:00 - 56:05
yourself being better never should even
  • 56:02 - 56:08
be in the picture you have the power to
  • 56:05 - 56:10
do anything possible the power to
  • 56:08 - 56:13
    transform into somebody capable of
  • 56:10 - 56:16
anything you can imagine this this is
  • 56:13 - 56:22
the power you deserve let your success
  • 56:16 - 56:25
let your mindset be the beginning the
  • 56:22 - 56:27
journey doesn't in here this journey
  • 56:25 - 56:29
doesn't end when the Sun goes up when
  • 56:27 - 56:32
the sun goes down it doesn't end when
  • 56:29 - 56:34
you close your eyes doesn't end for one
  • 56:32 - 56:40
second because hard work waits for
  • 56:34 - 56:41
nobody let yourself be heard let your
  • 56:40 - 56:44
    power speak for itself
  • 56:41 - 56:46
let your beginning be the potential to
  • 56:44 - 56:49
take you further and further along your
  • 56:46 - 56:51
path to success you are the only
  • 56:49 - 56:54
inspiration you need you are the only
  • 56:51 - 56:58
force it takes to be someone more to
  • 56:54 - 57:00
have so much more remember your worth as
  • 56:58 - 57:02
a person remember the possibilities of
  • 57:00 - 57:06
your power the fruitful future that
  • 57:02 - 57:08
lingers over your shoulders this is
  • 57:06 - 57:11
where you never say never never say
  • 57:08 - 57:14
never to any possibility to any
  • 57:11 - 57:18
opportunity to any mistakes to any fear
  • 57:14 - 57:20
you say yes this this is the only way to
  • 57:18 - 57:23
    grow
  • 57:20 - 57:25
I think that that most people set the
  • 57:23 - 57:27
wrong goals for themselves and it's
  • 57:25 - 57:28
    because they're disconnected from who
  • 57:27 - 57:30
they are they are living someone else's
  • 57:28 - 57:32
life or they're living a life that's so
  • 57:30 - 57:34
disconnected from who they are it
  • 57:32 - 57:38
becomes very difficult to set the right
  • 57:34 - 57:41
goal so I think in order to reconcile
  • 57:38 - 57:42
that you have to look inward you know
  • 57:41 - 57:45
and that can be different for everybody
  • 57:42 - 57:47
that can mean a consistent meditation
  • 57:45 - 57:51
practice that can mean therapy that can
  • 57:47 - 57:54
mean you know starting to do yoga
  • 57:51 - 58:00
it can mean many many things but I think
  • 57:54 - 58:04
there's no and run around the very
  • 58:00 - 58:06
difficult long process of really trying
  • 58:04 - 58:09
to be honest with yourself about who you
  • 58:06 - 58:12
are what's important to you what you
  • 58:09 - 58:15
care about and then beginning to breathe
  • 58:12 - 58:19
life into those things as frivolous as
  • 58:15 - 58:21
they may seem to bring expression to the
  • 58:19 - 58:23
things that that you do care about that
  • 58:21 - 58:25
that that get you excited in the morning
  • 58:23 - 58:29
and that doesn't mean you quit your job
  • 58:25 - 58:32
tomorrow but the more you can foster
  • 58:29 - 58:35
    something that has personal importance
  • 58:32 - 58:37
to you I think that's the first step in
  • 58:35 - 58:41
    trying to
  • 58:37 - 58:41
move past whatever it is that's holding
  • 58:41 - 58:43
    you back
  • 58:41 - 58:46
    whether it's professionally or
  • 58:43 - 58:50
personally to being a more integrated
  • 58:46 - 58:50
    authentic version of yourself
  • 58:52 - 58:58
let this be the moment you remember
  • 58:55 - 59:01
show yourself as the rocket in your own
  • 58:58 - 59:03
life this is the journey you're on you
  • 59:01 - 59:05
control the progress you make you
  • 59:03 - 59:07
strengthen the path that transforms you
  • 59:05 - 59:09
into the person you've been waiting to
  • 59:07 - 59:12
become the person that allows you to
  • 59:09 - 59:14
become someone new you have the skills
  • 59:12 - 59:17
to be bold the strengths to grow faster
  • 59:14 - 59:19
the power to be stronger the journey
  • 59:17 - 59:22
you've waited for is here here for you
  • 59:19 - 59:24
to be something better this is the
  • 59:22 - 59:27
opportunity in front of you this is your
  • 59:24 - 59:29
future staring at you face to face
  • 59:27 - 59:33
waiting for the power to be granted to
  • 59:29 - 59:35
you your power is welcomed welcomed by
  • 59:33 - 59:39
your progress your progress that guide
  • 59:35 - 59:42
you towards your future be someone you
  • 59:39 - 59:44
can take pride in become someone you
  • 59:42 - 59:47
know that you can become this is the
  • 59:44 - 59:51
journey you have the journey you're on
  • 59:47 - 59:53
take the first step towards success take
  • 59:51 - 59:56
the first movie of faith into the risks
  • 59:53 - 59:59
of your life push past the limits move
  • 59:56 - 60:04
toward a future you can imagine a future
  • 59:59 - 60:04
use design this is your power
  • 60:06 - 60:12
    self-reliance is everything don't don't
  • 60:10 - 60:14
expect anybody to do anything for you
  • 60:12 - 60:16
I'm the only one who can get it done and
  • 60:14 - 60:19
if you just buckle down and go the extra
  • 60:16 - 60:22
mile you will solve the problem and you
  • 60:19 - 60:22
will make your way in the world
  • 60:23 - 60:29
you know we all have a unique song and I
  • 60:26 - 60:31
think most people to echo the words of
  • 60:29 - 60:34
Henry David Thoreau are leading lives of
  • 60:31 - 60:35
quiet desperation and go to the grave
  • 60:34 - 60:37
with the song still in them and I find
  • 60:35 - 60:42
that tragic and so if there's anything
  • 60:37 - 60:44
that that that my work is about it's
  • 60:42 - 60:47
about helping people become cognizant of
  • 60:44 - 60:50
that and to take action so that they
  • 60:47 - 60:53
don't become that person leading a life
  • 60:50 - 60:54
of quiet desperation which I think I
  • 60:53 - 60:57
don't know I wouldn't want to say most
  • 60:54 - 61:00
people but a lot of people are and I
  • 60:57 - 61:00
    found out heartbreaking
  • 61:02 - 61:06
you know what's your major malfunction
  • 61:04 - 61:09
right now what's the thing that keeps
  • 61:06 - 61:12
you up at night do you resent the most
  • 61:09 - 61:13
what are you afraid of what do you want
  • 61:12 - 61:14
    to achieve what's in it
  • 61:13 - 61:16
what's in it what do you think is in
  • 61:14 - 61:21
your way you know I think just by asking
  • 61:16 - 61:26
people questions and and and and then
  • 61:21 - 61:29
holding a vision for that better life
  • 61:26 - 61:31
for them to say I believe in you I'm not
  • 61:29 - 61:33
here to tell you what to do or how to
  • 61:31 - 61:36
live your life but I believe in your
  • 61:33 - 61:37
greatest expression and I'm gonna hold
  • 61:36 - 61:40
    space for you
  • 61:37 - 61:42
to give people permission to be honest
  • 61:40 - 61:44
to be vulnerable we're so afraid of
  • 61:42 - 61:48
    being vulnerable
  • 61:44 - 61:50
we're terrified of being honest we're so
  • 61:48 - 61:53
used to being judged and being held to a
  • 61:50 - 61:54
standard that society sets for us that
  • 61:53 - 61:56
we don't give ourselves permission to
  • 61:54 - 61:59
even ask these questions let alone
  • 61:56 - 61:59
    answer them
  • 62:00 - 62:05
what have you done today to be different
  • 62:02 - 62:06
what have you done to step outside the
  • 62:05 - 62:09
conventions that you set for yourself

  • 62:09 - 62:15
