Using Smartling's video feature in translating Coursera courses

0:01 - 0:05(Narrator) Welcome!
In this video you will learn -
0:05 - 0:08how to make the best use
of Smartling's video feature. -
0:09 - 0:13Once you've clicked into a resource
in the GTC portal, -
0:13 - 0:17you will have access
to Smartling's translation interface. -
0:19 - 0:22You will then be able to see the video
of the lecture you are working on -
0:23 - 0:26and an area
to do do the actual translation. -
0:28 - 0:33The left side of the translation area
shows you the original English subtitles -
0:34 - 0:39and then the right half allows you to see
translations that were made previously, -
0:40 - 0:43as well as complete unfinished strings.
-
0:45 - 0:47If you'd like to start
working on new strings -
0:48 - 0:50and then see your strings only,
-
0:50 - 0:54simply switch from All Workflows
to Current Workflow. -
0:56 - 1:00The video will then start playing
until the end of the first string. -

some of the strings, -
2:19 - 2:23you may want to check if your translations
are smooth enough. -
2:23 - 2:28You can then switch back from
Current Workflow to All Workflows. -

of all strings, click on Autoscroll. -
