Neuron Lena explains the basics of the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) for brain research. RDoC is a research framework for new ways of studying mental disorders. It integrates many levels of information (from genomics to self-report) to better understand basic dimensions of functioning underlying the full range of human behavior from normal to abnormal.
The information from this presentation was gathered at NIMH's RDoC website, https://www.nimh.nih.gov/research-priorities/rdoc/index.shtml, and the NIMH Director Blog, http://www.nimh.nih.gov/about/director/2015/crowdsourcing-rdoc.shtml.
