Set Your Foundation Right

the Bedrock of any Union has to be our

love for God and that must supersede

everything else because Who who how many

people are in the marriage it's just you

your spouse and God other people can't

dictate how you decide to live your life

and if you allow other opinions or other

uh maybe different cultural issues or

any family issues or any kind of

opinions to to have precedence in that

early

stage you're setting yourself up for for

problems and that reminds me of

something that Prophet T Joshua said he

said that when when we were under

training there he said marriage is all

about decency and decency is about the

Holy Spirit in your life so all of us

are on a process the holy spirit is

working a process in our heart and

definitely the right time brings the

right person we shouldn't be looking

we've said that before we shouldn't be

going around looking actively we should

be looking for the presence of God

looking for the Holy Spirit to come and

abide in our hearts cuz that will is

what will create that decency within us

a Godly home does not just happen it is

built there's only one Foundation the

word of God God said to man it's not

good for man to be alone the Bible says

he made him an helper like him like him

holy spirit makes you walk you don't see

yourself you see yourself in your wife

and she see herself in you that's the

mystery when Adam looked and saw Eve he

say Flesh of My Flesh and Bones of my

bone one Spirit one thought one heart

one mind Victory

forever today we want to talk about the

foundation of our life yes the

foundation of our life is our home and

this is a time of year that so many

people they want to change their life in

some way so many of us want to enter a

new year with a new resolution looking

at how we can change areas of our life

that we know are not really on the right

path righteousness begins at home and

where is home well home is all about our

family life that's where Purity begins

and that's where we can set our life

right and from there everything else

will follow and it's such an important

topic because if we don't get this right

then it's a a big mistake that can Cloud

everything else in

life this is tandi and Cuda and it's a

wonderful blessing to have them with us

here today they are friends and partners

of the U and we consider them part of

the family and today we actually want to

listen to their story I believe it will

really impact you and impact your faith

to know that when you put your life

right in God's standard then you open

the door to His blessings in your life

and why are we having this interview

today because so many people are in a

situation where maybe they can't seem to

choose the right thing because they

can't see clearly or Reason clearly

because when we live outside of God's

standard we are living out outside of

the light of God we're actually in

darkness and that's why we can't see the

way to go or how to follow the right way

but once you take that decision in

righteousness to obey God's word and set

your life right you will see that that

strength of conviction will come and

that is definitely been the case in

their life and I've I'm a witness to see

what God has done in their life and I'm

so happy for them and we want to share

it with you because we believe we're

blessed to bless others amen amen

absolutely so you're both welcome so

yeah truly God is alive and he works

wonders in our lives and if he can do it

for them he can do it for you so Tandy

can you just tell us let's start from

you in a in a nutshell in a summary at

the beginning how has God transformed

your relationship and your life through

obeying God's word and what was love

life like before before that happened

okay um so yeah um hearing from God and

and F in God's will for our lives and

listening to God obeying God has

transformed my life our lives greatly um

I'll just give a little bit of insight

of what life was like before um outside

of God's Will and um you know in our

relationship we

were trying to do the right thing but

obviously not doing the right thing uh

we were not married we

were more or less you know as plainly

put living in sin you're not living

according to to the word of God and

there was a lot of confusion because of

that when you're not obeying God's word

it does bring a lot of confusion there

was uh a few tests and tribulations in

the relationship um

we had a lot of um outside opinion from

family members from you know friends

everyone had their own opinions it was

bringing confusion into our relationship

um at one point we were not sure if we

were meant to be together if we're going

to be together um it was a case of are

we going to keep going or are we going

to break up um and at that point where

there was a lot of confusion um you were

also expecting a child wow so that that

made everything even the more confusing

it made everything even more confusing

um to the point where when you listen to

outside opinions that are not um Godly I

came to the point where I actually

thought well I'll be able to live the

you know a single woman's life I can be

a single mother I can do things for

myself I don't need Cuda in my life and

that's when um God stepped in and and

things started to happen to bring us to

University of God so through my sister

who is a partner with the the University

of God we came into contact with

yourselves and uh Prophet Rin and the

way God works is such a wonderful way

because it puts things into such a

timeline that we can try as much as you

can to do things our way but when God

says it's time for me to step in and do

things his way it works in such a smooth

and wonderful way so um when it came to

the time when we came into contact with

yourselves um we received guidance and

we received you know a lot of

confirmation of what we were already

thinking and feeling that actually you

know we were meant to be together we

need to get married do things the right

way and see what God will do for you

that's the the words that the prophet um

Rin had given to us do the right thing

follow God's word obey God and see what

he'll do for you and surely yes you know

after we listened things started to to

fall into place in a wonderful way so we

got married first of all this year we

got married and um we found out that we

were expecting and after we had lost the

first baby we received a word from

Prophet Rasin that God is going to give

you another boy wow so we got the

confirmation that yes you meant to be

together you're meant to you know go and

get married do the right thing but also

on top of that God is going to give you

another child and for sure it came to

pass that you know it felt pregnant it

was a boy wow and even in that whole

pregnancy it was such a smooth pregnancy

um the medical professionals had their

opinions but God said no don't listen to

any of that he protected the pregnancy

all the way through and by God's grace

and blessings we have our son with us

today wow oh wow that's that's such a

wonderful wonderful testimony and I I

just want to take you back a bit CU you

mentioned about how there was a pressure

that were even thought there was a

Temptation that you were thinking

because if everything was so tough in

your life and you were confused where

you thought well even if I'm a single

mom it's okay I don't need uh uh the

father of the child in my life you know

I I can do it alone and I think that's

such a dangerous lie of Satan isn't it

because especially in this day and age

where so many people are thinking

they're empowered to maybe just do it

alone and they don't know that this is

against God's law because there's a way

God does things for a purpose and you

know for for a child uh to come into the

world with you know a mother father

together grounded in God that's just

God's plan because that's the and we can

see how that's under attack in this day

and age because it is the Bedrock of

society and the Bedrock of of of

Christian life and that's why we're

talking today about the foundation of

life and what I love so much about God

is that God can always turn our

situation around even if we make

mistakes with our life even if we maybe

take some wrong decisions in our life

which I'm sure everyone has at some

point taken a wrong decision God can

turn everything around that's what the

Bible says in Romans 8 vers 28 that God

will turn everything around for the good

of those who love him and are called

according to his purpose so if we truly

know that we're in God's purpose in our

life God can turn any situation around

so it's never too late to put our life

right and obey the will of God is always

the best decision at the beginning why

was it difficult because some people

might say well it's obvious if maybe

you're already expecting why would you

not want to get married and be together

what was some of the the pressures or

the difficulties or the obstacles at

that point when you couldn't see clearly

in your life that seemed to be stopping

you from doing that it it just felt like

there was a blockage um in terms of us

moving forward in our relationship like

I said we we genuinely love each other

dearly and we wanted to be together but

it was just that blockage of not being

able to see past a certain point that if

you get married and get married under

God's law that's the right thing to do

we well I can speak for myself I I fall

to the pressures of society to think

well if this is not going to happen you

you tend to feel like there's um

pressure to get married by a certain age

or you need to have your children by a

certain age you need to do certain

things and that's a lie you God's timing

is you know really Incredible God can

give you a life even after you 30s or

after 40s where to say in your 20s you

should be L by now and and things like

that oh yeah I understand what you mean

so you felt maybe because you'd gone

past that stage and you thought well

already um if I'm not married now what's

the point yeah it's gone ship is gone

yeah and I oh that's a really good point

you know so we we should not be governed

by by pressures of of of age or timing

whereas we should trust God's process

because you mentioned that You' know

each other for a very long time but now

if you compare your relationship now

that you can see God's worked in your

life and you've come to that stage cu

the right time has really brought the

right person and and that's what we can

see the the the fruit of that yeah yeah

absolutely it's incredible because once

you are walking under God's path under

God's Direction you have such peace in

your life I can't describe it to the

viewers enough that chaos and the

chaotic lifestyle and the

uncertainties it's like walking through

thick mud but when God steps into your

life he takes you out of that mud and he

puts you on good ground and you're able

to have a smoother easier journey and I

I can't describe it enough that

difference of living in the world and

living under the The Obedience of God

it's a blessing to walk Under The

Obedience of God Amen so Cuda we'd like

to hear from you from your from your

perspective

um what was it like before in terms of

not being able to see clearly or or to

you know in terms of your role because

you know the Bible's very clear about

the role of of of the man and the father

you know uh why was it you couldn't see

clearly at that time and how did God now

bring that that light of Revelation to

you and what gave you the conviction to

follow God despite pressures telling you

otherwise thank you Ruth uh I think for

me before to

uh come to be with handy and be with

handy I was in

Tero I was not at peace I was looking

for an answer but God was pushing me in

a particular direction but it's not a

direction that I was expecting due to

family guidance due to Conventional

everything that we know in the world was

against that so God is showing me this

direction and everyone is up in fighting

that direction and I'm stuck here and

I'm thinking what do I do so I was not a

peace uh Tero I was praying fasting and

praying but still God is pushing me that

direction and still with the direction

then I don't want to go so it's uh it

went on for a while until uh one time I

was praying and fasting and uh God

showed me in a dream he showed me the

man of God uh Prophet Rasin he showed me

the man of God and I showed us

connecting with each other and and uh a

year later we came to be in contact

through our sister who a partner in in

your ministry as well

so that you know um when I got to be in

touch with you guys uh and speak to the

prophet the man of God and he assured me

that the way God was showing me was the

right way even though I was trying to

fight it all these

years um he gave me peace inside me M

and he gave me direction he gave me what

I needed to do because when God speaks

he gives you Direction it gives you

follow steps to follow so I followed

what he told me to do and from then my

wife and I uh she's now my wife uh

things started moving so smoothly we got

married uh we had had disappointment

before but we got married and got

blessed us and it's just been blessing

upon blessing since then and I have

heard so much peace in my heart and I'm

so happy in this marriage you know it's

not it's something that you do not get

if you do not follow God's way and uh

before I didn't and uh now I can tell

the difference yeah and uh it's uh

just when you pray and ask

God God will answer the Bible says it's

a reward of those who diligently seek

Him amen yes so he's actually telling

you which way to go directing us he's

ready to do then he's waiting for us to

come to him and ask CU he is his our

best interested heart exactly so when

you come to God and ask he loves that he

give you show you Direction but it's up

to you to follow it up no it's true

obeying God at first seems hard until we

come to realize that all he asks is

actually for our good for our good yeah

to give us the life that's P them free

one area you mentioned I think it's so

important because when it comes to

matters of relationship husband and wife

you know no one can come and tell you oh

this is your wife this is your husband

um it it has to be a conviction that's

already in your heart and anything

anyone tells you as a word from God it

should only confirm confir what what God

has already put in your heart um because

at the end of the day the relationship

is between you your husband or your wife

and God no one else is in that

relationship it's not like you can say

oh you told me this is my wife now

there's a problem you the one to blame

you know so we should really guard

against that um that temptation to just

say oh because this person says is my

wife this person says my husband or or I

had a dream or or someone can say oh

this person is your wife or your husband

no you God will always speak to our

heart the question is are we listening

yes the question is is our heart in the

right place to receive and hear the

voice of God and then like you

mentioned are we ready to obey that

voice

yes and I think that's what you really

did you you were seeking God and once

you Reed that confirmation that look

this is the right for you when you set

your life right together you will see

how God will bless you yes and you've

seen the before and after so you you can

tell the difference between when you're

living you're having a relationship

outside of God's God's standard it's

just confusion you mentioned turmoil

although you might love the person

emotions are just bound up with so many

other things have peace you never have

peace and um and can can you tell us as

well a bit about the the decision to get

married because I know people can also

identify with this um what were the

maybe some of the obstacles you had to

overcome just tell us a bit about that

because I think people can probably

relate as well the the number one thing

is um uh tradition yeah tradition coming

from Africa and we do things a certain

way

and uh everyone expects you to go along

that way but if you ask them why do we

do this and that and that no one can

tell you that because it's tradition

like the Bible Apostle Paul said passed

on from our elders all all the way down

but no one really knows what's happening

but God does not do

tradition you understand so God gave us

particular a particular route to follow

do this in my kingdom you do this in

Tradition in the world you do that but

in the Kingdom for my marriage blessed

by me ordained by me brought together by

me this is how we do it so we followed

God's voice we didn't listen to any

outside influence yeah we followed what

God has directed us to do and uh it's

just been blessing after blessing wow so

there is outside pressure there's always

going to be tradition there's always

going to be outside influence but when

God gives you the directive I pray you

follow that and that's the only way to

your blessing to your happiness in your

marriage yeah and I think that's what a

lot of people might find difficulty with

is the outside pressures from family and

and friends especially with these

traditions and cultures that you know

they they're not really um there's

nothing wrong with tradition and culture

of course but some some specifics are

not the right way of of doing things God

way is very direct if you follow God's

way honestly it will just be so

straightforward you'll have peace your

life will transform and um that's

exactly what happened to us yeah

wow yeah I I I really think you've

you've said it all in that aspect and I

think people can do well to to learn

from your experience because it all

happens so quickly that's another thing

you know so many people think oh I don't

have enough money to get married or it's

not the right time because I need to

have this amount and you know when it

comes to a matter of marriage it's a

heart decision and once your heart has

made that decision and God has sealed it

then you

know it it's it's not about having a

specific standard that needs to be met

in order to get married whatever

standard that might be set by Society or

by family or by pressure or by

competition or anything it's God is the

witness to that marriage and the most

important thing is that God is the

witness I've seen what God has done in

your life you know God provided you of a

wonderful place to live and then you

know you you you lost your baby but God

gave you another boy just as the prophet

said and um tell us about as well you

said the pregnancy went so smoothly I

know that even even the details of how

and when the baby was born tell us about

that like how God intervened in that

area oh that was incredible um so a few

days it was a few days before um our son

was born we actually received um word

from prophet rasim and he was very

specific he said said get ready on

Thursday it was Monday and he said

Thursday wow and he said get ready on

Thursday and that that wasn't the due

date that you'd been given

by th yeah Thursday yes so and exactly

as as he had said it um as he had

received the word from God and passed on

that word to us happened exactly that

way uh Thursday at midnight Wednesday

midnight rather entering into Thursday

morning that's when the contraction

started exactly on time and our son was

born um Thursday morning wow and I know

even because of the previous

complication that they were the medical

professionals were were worried maybe

they wanted to induce you and and I

remember he said no that's not going to

happen to you yeah yeah that's exactly

what happened as well so I was not

induced um everything went smoothly W

thank you Jesus and yeah it was a

perfect birth and even the name yes even

the name the name was um

when was it given to

us

um before birth was before bir before he

was born before so before our son was

born we also receive confirmation of his

name that's the name um as he's known by

God as his name as he will be known in

heaven that's his real name that's what

we will given James James James so it's

um it's it's a it's uh it's wonderful to

receive these uh confirmation and

guidance from the men of God and from

you as well because uh this is what uh

builds our faith as well as we walk

along this journey because um uh he said

the boy will be born on Thursday whereas

they wanted to Inu you on Saturday so uh

God Made A Way and then he said no uh

man of God said you know what I don't

want this I'm praying to God

and then he called and said Thursday the

baby's coming don't do anything don't go

anywhere I said ah okay so and Thursday

or Wednesday midnight constructions

began uh Thursday morning baby came baby

arrived healthy wonderful baby nothing

wrong with him and U yeah it's just G so

beautifully wow yeah it's it's amazing

it's amazing no complications we had um

fears from the prior birth we had our

worries uh so every little thing we were

worried but

uh everything came to pass just the man

of go saying I think your your case

really highlights the fact that when you

put your life in the standard of God you

are open to God's blessings but whereas

if we're actually living outside God's

standard we don't know why maybe we're

open Us opening ourselves up to attack

and and and problems because we're not

under the protection of God so this

means our life will really go smoother

when we go by the way of the Holy Bible

which is the the law that God has given

us and like we said it's not always easy

there are always pressures and

difficulties and it always seems to be

easier to go the other way but great

blessing comes with going the way of God

and I can really see the peace in your

life uh I can see that peace radiating

from you not just in your beautiful

child but also in in the way you relate

with each each other and I think that's

what brings that security and that is

what um that is what the god ordained

institution of marriage is all about you

know we are stronger together and we

were never meant to go it all alone and

having obviously gone through I mean I'm

on the Journey of motherhood as well

myself and I can't even imagine how

difficult this would be to do alone you

know or outside the the the blessing of

the institution of marriage so you know

at this time of year when all of us it's

a time of family we come together when

we appreciate what God has done in our

lives it's good for us to actually

examine ourselves and think we should

value the foundation of life and make

sure our foundation is right if our

foundation is Right everything else will

be right so I'd like to give you

opportunity to give some advice now if

you would like to advise people from the

from your heart from your life

experience what advice would you give my

advice for the viewers would be to log

on to the University of God podcast and

have a look and listen to the podcast

titled don't give up because it most

resonates with the situation that we've

been through um people might feel like

they have lost time or you know they

don't have time to get married it's too

late to have children it's too late to

um get married and and be in a

relationship am I with the right person

is this the right thing but if you just

listen to God God's will for your life

he will give you conviction he will

answer your prayers and to never give up

don't fall to society's um standards or

what society says or dictates about what

things should be um a lot of fear is um

instilled into people by by other

people's words other people's opinions

the only opinion that matters the most

is God's opinion God will always set you

on to the right path once you're under

his will things will fall into to place

you'll have peace and things will just

go so much smoother in your life and um

there's there's no turning back

honestly what about you Cuda what what

would your word of advice be um my

advice to people listening is that uh

people are getting married every day

people are getting married everywhere

but for the wrong reasons people are

already marriages for the wrong reasons

I want to say to you before you get

married ask God pray and ask God and

wait for God wait for God never run to

marry without god pushing you to get

married there's a difference between the

marriage for the world and the marriage

for the kingdom what you want is a

marriage for the kingdom this one will

give you peace and bring blessing to

your family so I know a lot of people

who've gone off and got

married had relationships had kids but

it's not God's Direction and I know a

lot of people been divorced now

separated and things like that because

they went T without God's guidance it

wasn't a marriage in the kingdom it was

outside the Kingdom so I want to say to

people God God's direction is the best

and God's timing is the best don't feel

like you have to rush and because

everyone around you is getting married I

also have to jump in no you don't uh

pray and ask

God uh ghost timing is the best ghost

timing is the best it will give you the

peace the happiness and the blessing uh

so I know a lot of people are already

divorced already separated but I say to

them also ask God pray and ask God for

direction since we we've come to be in

contact with uh brother Rin and you it's

um God is assured me that I'm in I'm in

the correct I'm going the right

direction I'm in on the correct path

assured me and uh assured me over and

over again that I am on the on the

correct road and this is this gives me

peace because uh everything can be going

wrong but you know he I'm going the

right direction you understand this is

the one thing that you need to be in the

will of God no it's true great peace

that comes in in being in the will of

God and it's like you can handle any

challenge that comes your way because

you know you're not alone you know that

God is with you in that challenge and

it's never too late to make God's word

the standard for our life we we've never

gone too far the wrong way for us to

turn around and actually say I'm going

to put my life right that decision can

start today that decision can start now

in your heart because it's in our heart

that that decision needs to be made

because if it doesn't come from the

heart it won't stand the test of time

because any relationship has challenges

within this world definitely they'll be

full of there'll be challenges along the

way but when we're together with God you

know you mentioned something you said a

marriage outside of God's kingdom is not

really a marriage it's true it's a

cohabitation it's two people living

together but they're not one the only

way we can be one is when Jesus is the

center of that unity and I really want

to thank you both of you for those words

of advice that you've giving because

you're speaking from your own experience

and all of us we have life experience

but the best way we can Channel our life

is not by the experience of others or

even by our own experience but by what

God's word says our life will always

always go smoother when we go by the way

of the word of God it's never too late

to make our life align with the word of

God never it might not be easy but it's

always the best decision There's Hope

yeah there's always hope

yeah amen there is always hope so at

this season where we're remembering the

hope of the world that was born we want

to encourage everyone to set their life

right and if you can't see clearly maybe

you're confused about what's going on

take time out to pray and seek God's

will the experience that they're giving

you they made that decision once they

made that hard decision they obeyed

God's word and you can see blessing

after blessing after blessing so it's

not just to know the will of God you

have to obey it and once you obey the

will of God and continue to obey the

will of God that means you're under

God's protection and the door is open to

his Blessing in your life remember God

will never open the the gates of of

blessing to those who keep their Bible

shut and why do I mean their Bible shut

I mean the word of God shut in their

heart meaning the word of God has no

place in their heart so make sure the

word of God has a place in your heart

because that is how the blessing of God

can come into your life and lastly

people might say oh but I I want a

personal encounter too with Prophet

Rasin and I I want to encounter you

personally as well why can't that happen

to me you know the way a manner God

works in our lives always differs you

know God arranged divinely that you

would come into contact with this

ministry and come into contact with

myself and rasine and it was a god

connection connection and when when it's

a god Connection in your life you know

that God will open the way so if God has

if if God has ministered to you to be

involved in in this ministry that God

has given us the University of God then

please get involved like um Tandy said

you know there's a surface level and

there's a deeper level you can go and

you know you too you also made that

decision you too you also partners with

the uog and why do I say this because so

many people want to go on a deeper level

but you can even by joining the app by

subscribing to the app you can have

access to those um you know those Zoom

meetings we do once a month and and some

we can have maybe different encounters

with you that God wants so there's

different ways we can go deeper with God

so don't be on a surface level if you

know that God has put you in contact

with this ministry and it's God that's

done that then come closer in and be

part of the family we can't wait to see

God work in your life and we know that

surely your own testimony is just a

moment away once you make that heart

decision to put your life right and obey

the will of God then definitely Obed is

a way of blessing amen amen

amen this is beautiful baby James and he

actually had the the privilege many of

us would have loved that privilege to

start life out being dedicated to God

and I think we're going to show you some

glimpses of that as well to bless you

the message there will really bless you

it's really uh all the scriptures there

take them to heart and you can also

speak them over your child it's never

too late as I said I I was also blessed

by that ceremony that little James had

are the alpha you are the Omega we thank

you for this Divine appointment Lord we

remember in the scriptures that the

Messiah the Son of God came through

Virgin

and the scripture says Jesus was

dedicated before God in the temple of

the Lord father you have said every

child and the eth day should be

presented to the

Lord today Father in respect to the

scriptures here is my brother here is my

sister with this offering you have given

him by grace to dedicate this child to

the god of Heaven in the name of Jesus

the blood of Jesus this child is a child

of Destiny Lord we Comm the child to you

and pray you bless his journey to life a

New Journey has started Lord walk this

child throughout life in your name Jesus

by your grace in Jesus name we pray amen

amen hallelujah so naming a

baby must come from God the names are

important before

God God sent all the animals to Adam to

see how he's going to name them and he

gave name to all the animal

names are important before God name

hides your destiny sometimes so right

now we are going to take our proof text

that whatever we do here should be in

accordance to the scriptures let's go to

the Book of Luke Chapter 2 we read that

from verse 14 glory to God in the

highest and on Earth peace Good Will

toward men so it was when the Angels had

gone away from them into heaven that the

Shepherds said to one another let us now

go to Bethlehem and see this thing that

has come to pass which the Lord has made

known to us and they came with haste and

found Mary and Joseph and the Babe lying

in a Manger now when they had seen him

they made widely known the saying which

was told them concerning this child and

all those who heard it marveled at those

things which were told them by the

Shepherds but Mary kept all these things

and pondered them in her heart then the

Shepherds returned glorifying and

praising God for all the things they had

heard and seen as it was told told them

mhm and when 8 days were completed for

the circumcision of the child his name

was called Jesus the name given by the

angel before he was conceived in the

womb the name Jesus came from the angel

from above that should be the case of

this chch today so I want to explain to

you that right from the beginning of

creation God said to man it's not good

for man to be

alone the Bible says he made and helper

like him like

him and God blessed them to

multiply I want to everybody to

understand that the will of God in

giving that instruction was not to

populate the world but to fill the world

with Godly Christian homes Godly homes

what do I mean by Godly homes people

that walk in the light of righteousness

and obedience to God people that walk in

fellowship with God let by the Holy

Spirit sanctification and blessed that's

what God

wanted but when sin came we saw

unrighteousness came violence came to

the extent God sent the flood to whole

humankind but God said his plan is

righteousness to bring man back to him

mean righteousness is the backbone of a

Nation righteousness is the backbone of

a whole world in righteousness that's

what God is looking at when God looks on

the earth he's looking for the righteous

person the righteous are those who make

God they Delight those who live by faith
