GLITCH MONTHLY #05

  • 0:00 - 0:04
(Story number) 1 Night sky of another
place and completely foreign to me
  • 0:06 - 0:09
First to fully give this a short
    introduction is needed.
  • 0:09 - 0:13
I live in an eastern European country
and I have been sort of an astronomy
  • 0:14 - 0:17
and dinosaur, which is irrelevant, buff
    since I was 8 or 9.
  • 0:17 - 0:22
That is not to say that I am an astronomer
or astrologist for that matter, even an
  • 0:22 - 0:23
    amateur one.
  • 0:23 - 0:28
My 10 year older cousin is and he got me
interested when I was a kid so I got
  • 0:28 - 0:32
myself to read and learn everything I
    could on the matter.
  • 0:32 - 0:36
As a kid, one of the most interesting
things to me were the constellations.
  • 0:36 - 0:39
During the next couple of years I got to
    know all of them.
  • 0:39 - 0:43
Even ones from the southern hemisphere,
which I only got to see in books at the time
  • 0:43 - 0:45
    summer or winter.
  • 0:45 - 0:49
I decided to share this because this
morning the shift occurred to me for
  • 0:49 - 0:53
the fourth time. I'm getting to it now.
  • 0:54 - 0:59
I work in two shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.
  • 1:00 - 1:04
All four occurrences took place in the
    early morning before first shift.
  • 1:04 - 1:08
So I have a sort of ritual energy every
    morning before first shift.
  • 1:09 - 1:13
I wake up at 4am, brew a cup of coffee,
    use the restroom, get dressed.
  • 1:13 - 1:17
I take my coffee and get out to the
balcony of my second-story apartment and
  • 1:17 - 1:19
have a smoke with my coffee.
  • 1:19 - 1:23
I do this without fail every morning,
    winter or summer.
  • 1:23 - 1:26
With the only difference being if I put on
    my jacket.
  • 1:27 - 1:31
Now normally I enjoy the warmth of coffee
against my hands while I smoke and watch
  • 1:31 - 1:34
over a small green park my balcony is
    overlooking.
  • 1:35 - 1:41
Or I scan the still night sky looking for
Mars, Venus, or Jupiter if they are visible
  • 1:41 - 1:44
    and looking at constellations.
  • 1:44 - 1:47
If I raise my eyes straight up and a tiny
bit to the right, for example, there is
  • 1:47 - 1:51
Cassiopeia, looking like a huge "w".
  • 1:51 - 1:56
And all the way to my right is Orion.
There are others visible too, but these
  • 1:56 - 1:59
two are enough for the story.
  • 1:59 - 2:04
Every single morning at this time of year,
October, it is exactly the same.
  • 2:04 - 2:08
Well, every time except for the four times
    this post is about.
  • 2:09 - 2:13
3 of the 4 happened last year during
    October and early November.
  • 2:13 - 2:17
The fourth one occurred this very morning,
    again October. Coincidence?
  • 2:17 - 2:21
So I follow my routine like every other
    morning at 4:10am.
  • 2:21 - 2:26
But when I look at the sky constellations
I see are completely unknown to me.
  • 2:26 - 2:33
No Cassiopeia, no Orion or others. The
stars don't match anything that can be
  • 2:33 - 2:36
observed from our planet north or south,
    summer or winter.
  • 2:36 - 2:40
For example, straight up I can see a
formation that would match a perfect
  • 2:40 - 2:44
circle of 11 stars. 3 of which are
    brighter than the rest.
  • 2:44 - 2:48
Straight forward is a 5-starred upsidedown
    "Y".
  • 2:48 - 2:52
To the right is a formation that would
resemble a very long arrow, as in a
  • 2:52 - 2:55
    medieval weapon, or a vector.
  • 2:55 - 2:59
To the right is a pair of nearly same
shapes that resemble an s or a snake.
  • 3:00 - 3:04
One larger than the other and with a
    different number of stars.
  • 3:04 - 3:08
I can't recall if the sky was exactly like
that last year when this happened.
  • 3:09 - 3:12
But I did throw away my cigarette this
this time and went for a piece of paper
  • 3:12 - 3:16
to draw the outlines I could see.
I was afraid that it would change to
  • 3:16 - 3:20
normal sky by the time I returned but it
didn't, so I stood there sketching it and
  • 3:20 - 3:26
as I did, the stars started fading and
others appeared, and slowly replaced the
  • 3:26 - 3:31
ones that didn't match the normal sky.
This lasted about a minute, maybe two,
  • 3:31 - 3:38
and when it finished the sky was what it
should be: Orion, Cassiopeia, Ursas, etc.
  • 3:38 - 3:42
being where they should. I finished adding
dots for the starts as I recalled the
  • 3:42 - 3:47
minutes ago, and in a few minutes had to
leave for work. I hadn't lost any time.
  • 3:47 - 3:51
I didn't feel different in any way, apart
    from the awe I felt.
  • 3:52 - 3:57
Once outside sky was again normal, and as
far as I recall, it was the same the
  • 3:57 - 4:02
    previous 3 times.
I have no explanation for this, apart from
  • 4:02 - 4:08
it being a glitch in the matrix. I am keen
to hear your thoughts, or from someone
  • 4:08 - 4:10
who had the same thing happen to them.
  • 4:10 - 4:15
It might not seem a huge thing but I feel
it is. So much that I am spending my
  • 4:15 - 4:20
    breakfast break typing this out.
  • 4:20 - 4:22
    (Story number) 2
  • 4:22 - 4:26
This happened on August 13th, 2019.
  • 4:26 - 4:30
I get together with my mom once a week at
    her work.
  • 4:30 - 4:34
The only thing that started differently on
this particular day was that I had just
  • 4:34 - 4:39
downloaded snapchat. I parked right next
to my mom's car, as usual, checked to see
  • 4:39 - 4:44
if she was in her car, but she wasn't.
I went ahead and was taking snaps on
  • 4:44 - 4:48
the way into her work office. This is
    about a one minute walk.
  • 4:49 - 4:54
I was taking plenty of pictures because I
was especially feeling cute this day and I
  • 4:54 - 4:58
was playing with the filters. I go in and
sign in at the front desk right in front
  • 4:58 - 5:03
of the door. There were two employees
behind the desk and counter and a client
  • 5:03 - 5:08
who was on my side of the counter.
The three of them were chatting while I
  • 5:08 - 5:12
singed in and filled out a brief paper
    that is required.
  • 5:12 - 5:16
I am standing within 2 feet of the door
this whole time no one came in or out.
  • 5:17 - 5:20
I went ahead and sat in the lobby area,
which is on the other side of the same
  • 5:20 - 5:25
room, just away from the door. The desk
area is right beside a hallway that leads
  • 5:25 - 5:29
to the different therapy rooms. This
hallway is between the lobby and the area
  • 5:29 - 5:34
in front of the desk. I sat down and went
to go text my mom to let her know I am
  • 5:34 - 5:39
there. As soon as I went to go text her
she walks in the door. She was perplexed
  • 5:39 - 5:45
asking where I was. I was equally confused
saying I've been right here. She had just
  • 5:45 - 5:50
walked out the front door and passed all 3
people at the desk, but I was not there.
  • 5:50 - 5:56
I was not in the same room as her and she
never walked by me. The two other
  • 5:56 - 6:00
employees both said that I was standing at
the desk when my mom walked by.
  • 6:00 - 6:04
About this time the other client left,
that client was the first person to walk
  • 6:04 - 6:09
out the door since I had arrived, yet
    somehow my mom had too.
  • 6:09 - 6:13
The other employee said I was standing
with the other client and was right in
  • 6:13 - 6:16
front of the door when my mom walked
    outside.
  • 6:16 - 6:21
In order for my mom to walk by me she
would have to be in arms reach.
  • 6:21 - 6:24
I would have definitely seen her walk out
  • 6:24 - 6:28
She was expecting me and we had already
    been texting prior to this.
  • 6:28 - 6:31
So, she knew when I was even on the way.
  • 6:31 - 6:35
Sometimes she may have a client run over
their time. It wasn't too unusual for her
  • 6:35 - 6:40
to be delayed. Once she walked out to her
car she noticed I was parked next to her
  • 6:40 - 6:45
and not in my car, so she immediately
came back inside. It doesn't take more
  • 6:45 - 6:49
than a couple minutes to fill out the
    check-in form and sign in.
  • 6:49 - 6:55
There is one door in and out of the
building. There is only one path to the
  • 6:55 - 7:00
building. Which had a clear line of sight.
I had pictures of myself on the walk into
  • 7:00 - 7:05
the building which didn't have her in them.
We didn't cross paths until she came back
  • 7:05 - 7:10
inside. Neither of us saw each other, even
though we were both waiting and looking
  • 7:10 - 7:15
for each other. There is no way that I
    would have missed her.
  • 7:16 - 7:20
I would have noticed another human being
walking right beside me, especially my own
  • 7:20 - 7:24
mother. I was only a few feet away from
the entrance to the hallway the entire
  • 7:24 - 7:30
time. Only my mom and I experienced this
glitch. No one else noticed, or thought it
  • 7:30 - 7:33
    was a big deal.
  • 7:35 - 7:37
    (Story number) 3
  • 7:37 - 7:41
Last summer there was a wild thunderstorm
    That covered the entire UK.
  • 7:42 - 7:46
All in all, the day itself seemed quite
    peculiar.
  • Not Synced
Things just seemed turned off. I felt edgy
    all day, as had others.
  • Not Synced
I was at my mum's house who lived around
the corner from me. My partner and I
  • Not Synced
    frequent there.
I think we left there about 9pm-ism, give
  • Not Synced
or take. I was speaking to my friend in
Cardiff, around 40 miles from us, and the
  • Not Synced
phone died. I could have sworn that the
    battery was around 70%.
  • Not Synced
The phone was relatively new. None the less
we headed home with the dog through the
  • Not Synced
wooded area. It's really warm and humid.
  • Not Synced
We get to the front area of our home and
our neighbors are outside having a drink
  • Not Synced
and a chat. So, we got engaged in
conversation with them for maybe half-an-hour.
  • Not Synced
Nothing strange there. I started telling
my neighbor about a weird experience I had
  • Not Synced
when I was younger. Much younger. I
hallucinated spiders crawling all over me.
  • Not Synced
Back to the story. Well, midway through
telling my neighbor and how horrific it
  • Not Synced
was my partner's phone range. It happened
to be my eldest sister and my niece.
  • Not Synced
They were both quite upset and frantic,
asking where I was and if I was alright.
  • Not Synced
"Yeah, he's fine. He's right here." My
partner said, and they were asking what
  • Not Synced
the hell I was playing at. My partner
passed the phone over to me.
  • Not Synced
Long story short, my niece was getting
private calls from a private number.
  • Not Synced
She didn't answer them. 4 or 5 in total,
I think. All these calls were received
  • Not Synced
within the previous 10 minutes. Well, she
    had received 3 voicemails.
  • Not Synced
The voicemails were from me, well, sounded
    like me anyway.
  • Not Synced
There was lots of interference similar to
static and white noise, that kind of thing
  • Not Synced
    I don't know.
The alarming about these calls was I was
  • Not Synced
crying. The timestamp of the calls was the
    correct date and time.
  • Not Synced
Each message similar. And some of the
messages were word-for-word what I said to
  • Not Synced
my neighbor about how scared I was etc.
But the answerphone messages began with me
  • Not Synced
    saying "I've made a terrible mistake, I
can't see any other way out." or something
  • Not Synced
    like that.
My blood ran cold. I pulled my phone out
  • Not Synced
and showed everyone, my neighbor, my
partner etc. my battery was dead.
  • Not Synced
I was in good spirits etc.. And because my
battery was dead my sister and niece were
  • Not Synced
so upset and scared because they thought I
planned to take my own life.
  • Not Synced
I felt real uneasy and this bothered me
    all night.
  • Not Synced
Confused and bewildered we went inside.
I was literally as white as a ghost.
  • Not Synced
I felt like I was a ghost trying to figure
out how, what, why, and when.
  • Not Synced
I charged my phone a little, turned in on,
called back my friend, and told him what
  • Not Synced
    happened. He was blown away.
We love paranormal stuff, but this was
  • Not Synced
just wrong. He assured me this was
probably just a mistaken identity. And we
  • Not Synced
said our goodbyes, got the dogs fed etc.
must have been around 11:45 to midnightism
  • Not Synced
    and this horrendous thunderstorm, which
was different to any other I've ever
  • Not Synced
witnessed, just rolled in and stayed for
    an hour to an hour-and-a-half.
  • Not Synced
I even went outside and filmed several
videos of it because it was that phenomenal
  • Not Synced
Shortly after the storm, my friend called
me 40 miles away and sounded quite alarmed
  • Not Synced
"You hearing the same. miss?" referring to
the storm, it was there too, it was quite
  • Not Synced
frightening. Now all my videos, and camera
pic for my evidence was stored on my cloud.
  • Not Synced
The device, the SD card, and my NAS, but
not one of the videos from the storm are
  • Not Synced
there. Not one. What the hell happened?
  • Not Synced
I've been holding off posting because I
wanted to see if anyone else posted
  • Not Synced
something similar. And I've read the past
few days a lot of phone-related posts
  • Not Synced
and I just can't get this off my mind.
  • Not Synced
I can't seem to tie it all together.
  • Not Synced
Love, light, and blessings to you all.
  • Not Synced
    (Story number) 4
  • Not Synced
    I lose everything and anything.
If my hands touch it the risk of it being
  • Not Synced
    misplaced shoots to over 50%.
  • Not Synced
And I accept a lot of this as just me
being me, but I swear on bigfoot and all
  • Not Synced
the cryptids in the forest that sometimes
    it's really not my fault.
  • Not Synced
My most recent example involves my wallet
something I am very protective over
  • Not Synced
because I'm sure that if I'm not watching
it like a hawk, I may lose it.
  • Not Synced
I literally check my purse every minute to
see if my wallet is still there when I am
  • Not Synced
out and about. It's kind of a problem.
  • Not Synced
Anyways, I've been seeing this guy for
about 6 months and we are very comfortable
  • Not Synced
with each other. He is nearly twice my age
and makes at least as much money as me.
  • Not Synced
One night I had my wallet halfway unzipped
on his coffee table next to his where I
  • Not Synced
could see it. He dyed my hair and we
watched a movie. He made note
  • Not Synced
of where my wallet was, commenting that my
money was looking like a mess in there again.
  • Not Synced
He had organized it about a month before.
  • Not Synced
When it was time for bed I looked at it
and thought to myself "I shouldn't leave
  • Not Synced
my wallet out in the open... Ah, it's fine.
The doors are locked, and we've never had
  • Not Synced
an issue." So off to bed we went.
In the morning we come downstairs and it's
  • Not Synced
fucking gone. I know for a fact he didn't
leave my sight all night because I am an
  • Not Synced
incrediably light sleeper. Even if I
wasn't he makes way more money than me.
  • Not Synced
I know neither of us touched it, and his
wallet is on the table where he left it.
  • Not Synced
Everything else is in its place.
  • Not Synced
I was in a rush to leave, so we start
tearing the livingroom apart looking for
  • Not Synced
this goddamn wallet. We are both very
    confused and in disbelief.
  • Not Synced
We check under the couch several times, in
the couch, under his TV, behind his TV.
  • Not Synced
He offers to give me cash for the day if
I want to leave while he keeps looking but
  • Not Synced
    I decline.
Finally, we look again, and we pull the
  • Not Synced
couch out from almost the wall and we
    find my wallet.
  • Not Synced
And now it's zipped shut, behind the couch
    across the room.
  • Not Synced
He already knows my reputation of losing
things, but he himself was in shock at how
  • Not Synced
this could be possible. I am not exactly
    surprised, this isn't anything new.
  • Not Synced
I'm just glad we found it.
    Nothing in it was missing.
  • Not Synced
    A shorter story.
I got a note 10 phone in September, and
  • Not Synced
what's killing me is the fact that they
    have no headphone jack.
  • Not Synced
    It sucks.
So I was holding on to the wired earbuds
  • Not Synced
that came with it for dear life. I put
them in their own secluded zipped
  • Not Synced
compartment in my purse, and religiously
put them back every single time and one
  • Not Synced
day they weren't there. Gone. Looked
everywhere for them for around 2 weeks and
  • Not Synced
they didn't turn up. So I just shelled
out the money for wireless bluetooth buds.
  • Not Synced
But I am still in disbelief on how they
could be gone when I was so careful with
  • Not Synced
    them. Anyone have similar stories?
  • Not Synced
I swear to god I am being followed by some
    asshole spirit.
  • Not Synced
    (Story number 5)
  • Not Synced
This happened last year and I will never
    forget it.
  • Not Synced
It freaked me out so bad.
  • Not Synced
I'm in my early 30's. My mind is as sharp
    as a tack.
  • Not Synced
I'm a mother as well so I'm usually always
    on point
