on a spiritual level. -
0:24 - 0:29The Come n See Cafe is right
in the heart of the Central District, -
0:29 - 0:31close to many universities.

0:31 - 0:32It was established

0:32 - 0:37because of your support
of the 13th Sabbath Offering in 2021. -
0:38 - 0:41The café is a place
where people can connect, -
0:41 - 0:43explore spirituality,

0:43 - 0:45and find a sense of community.

0:46 - 0:52Our customer is our neighbor,
so they don't know our Jesus. -
0:54 - 0:59We want to relate Him to them,
so we prepared this place. -
0:59 - 1:04Before this urban center
of influence, or UCI, was established, -
1:04 - 1:08Pastor Kwon was deeply involved
in Public Campus Ministry, -
1:09 - 1:13actively reaching out to teaching
and introducing God's love -
1:13 - 1:17to students across several campuses
in innovative ways. -
1:18 - 1:20Drawing on the rich experience,

1:21 - 1:25Pastor Kwon saw an opportunity
for off-campus ministry. -
1:25 - 1:27He envisioned creating a space

1:27 - 1:30where students could come
to enjoy good food -
1:30 - 1:33and also learn more about Jesus.

1:35 - 1:41They read the Bible with us,
so we have a Bible meeting with them. -
1:41 - 1:42Once a month,

1:42 - 1:48we have a Friday night fellowship
with our university students. -
1:48 - 1:52We prepare a Bible story
to share with them. -
1:52 - 1:54Through the Public Campus Ministry,
-
1:54 - 1:57some students have found their way
to faith in Christ -
1:57 - 2:00and are now eager
to participate in the ministry -
2:00 - 2:02while nurturing their newfound beliefs.

2:03 - 2:05The café also employs students

2:05 - 2:08who can't find jobs
that allow them to keep Sabbath. -
2:08 - 2:11The appeal of Korean culture and cuisine

2:11 - 2:13has captivated
a lot of students' attention, -
2:14 - 2:17so the café serves authentic Korean dishes

2:17 - 2:20originating
from Pastor Kwon's home country. -
2:20 - 2:24Come n See also offers
free Korean language classes, -
2:24 - 2:27cooking workshops, and social events,

2:27 - 2:30which attract new customers like Gary.

and see this restaurant, -
2:34 - 2:37and the comment below is very good

2:39 - 2:44and tell me that the food here is good,

2:44 - 2:50and the environment
makes people feel comfortable, -
2:50 - 2:53so I think it's the reason
why I came here. -
2:53 - 2:57Since its establishment in August 2022,

2:57 - 2:59the outreach of the Come n See Cafe

beyond the student population. -
3:02 - 3:07Families visiting the café also find
an opportunity to discover Christ, -
3:08 - 3:10thanks to carefully selected books
in the restaurant. -
3:15 - 3:18One day, a mom
and her kids visited our café. -
3:20 - 3:23The kids spotted
a Bible Friends book on the shelf -
3:23 - 3:25and started looking at it.

3:26 - 3:28While flipping through the book,

3:28 - 3:31she enjoyed the culinary delights
from our café. -
3:32 - 3:36When they left, the mom was very happy.

3:38 - 3:41They began visiting our café regularly

3:41 - 3:44to continue reading
the Bible Friends book. -
3:49 - 3:52Dong, who is a student
working part-time as a cook, -
3:52 - 3:56realizes that every role can make
a meaningful contribution to God's work. -

because, through my service, -
4:04 - 4:08my customers get a feel
of what Jesus is like. -
4:08 - 4:10Our café is a place

4:10 - 4:13where we can share the gospel
with Taiwanese people -

that they have come to know God's love. -
