Mata Gujri Ji is most commonly remembered as the grandmother of the Chaar Sahibzaade - the Four beloved sons (Princes) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. She is depicted in pictures and movies through her last moments with the two younger sahibzaade up to the point they were martyred by Wazir Khan, but this was not the only hardship Mata Ji endured. She was a devoted wife to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, a strong willed mother to Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the epitome of strength despite the hardships Mata Ji faced.
