Tattoo Etiquette: Ariel DeJesus | Part 5

  • 0:00 - 0:02
I know, before you all start, I know.
  • 0:02 - 0:05
Oh god, Lauren, what has she done now?
  • 0:05 - 0:06
Why are we here talking about
  • 0:06 - 0:08
    Ariel Dejesus again now?
  • 0:08 - 0:10
And I know I did say in my last Ariel
  • 0:10 - 0:12
DeJesus video that I probably won't
  • 0:12 - 0:14
make anymore content on her, unless
  • 0:14 - 0:17
she does something super problematic and
  • 0:17 - 0:20
um, surprise surprise, here we are, what
  • 0:20 - 0:22
three, four weeks later after that video.
  • 0:22 - 0:25
Well I'm here talking about her again!
  • 0:25 - 0:28
There's a new revelation and, um,
  • 0:29 - 0:32
you're gonna just wanna buckle up
  • 0:32 - 0:33
    for this one, honestly. So,
  • 0:33 - 0:34
a quick recap for those of you
  • 0:34 - 0:37
that don't know who the person I'm about
  • 0:37 - 0:39
to speak about is or you need a little
  • 0:39 - 0:40
    refresher or what have you
  • 0:40 - 0:43
I have got a few videos on this person
  • 0:43 - 0:45
already, I will leave a link down below to
  • 0:45 - 0:46
those I should probably just make a
  • 0:46 - 0:48
playlist at this point so I'll leave a
  • 0:48 - 0:50
link down below to that, but yes
  • 0:50 - 0:52
A quick introduction to Ariel DeJesus.
  • 0:52 - 0:56
Ariel is a tattoo artist in Texas
  • 0:56 - 0:58
She owns her own tattoo studio called
  • 0:58 - 1:00
Blindfold Tattoo's, and she does this
  • 1:00 - 1:02
    thing on social media called
  • 1:02 - 1:03
    Blindfold Tattoo's
  • 1:03 - 1:05
She'll ask her tattoo clients to pick
  • 1:05 - 1:08
three subject matters and she'll make a
  • 1:08 - 1:09
    tattoo out of them.
  • 1:09 - 1:11
And then she blindfolds them for what
  • 1:11 - 1:12
    reason, I don't know
  • 1:12 - 1:13
    so it's a surprise, I guess
  • 1:13 - 1:15
and yeah, she'll do the tattoo and film
  • 1:15 - 1:17
her clients' reactions, and most people
  • 1:17 - 1:20
do end up seeming very very happy with the
  • 1:20 - 1:22
results, but every tattoo enthusiast out
  • 1:22 - 1:24
there, or even people that aren't really
  • 1:24 - 1:28
into tattoos, um, can see that there is a
  • 1:28 - 1:30
    problem with Ariel's tattoos.
  • 1:30 - 1:32
She brags about rushing her tattoos
  • 1:32 - 1:35
she will do a whole big leg piece within
  • 1:35 - 1:37
    like, two or three hours.
  • 1:37 - 1:39
    The linework is terrible.
  • 1:39 - 1:42
Ariel also steals other people's artwork
  • 1:42 - 1:44
whether that be from Pinterest or other
  • 1:44 - 1:47
    tattoo artists' tattoos.
  • 1:47 - 1:49
I don't know if she's ever had an original
  • 1:49 - 1:51
idea in her whole entire life.
  • 1:51 - 1:55
Ariel has done an abundance of problematic
  • 1:55 - 1:57
    things throughout the past year,
  • 1:57 - 1:58
two years, three years, however long she
  • 1:58 - 2:01
has been pretty popular with on social
  • 2:01 - 2:04
media, she is mainly known on TikTok
  • 2:04 - 2:06
that's where her biggest audience is
  • 2:06 - 2:09
and there is just a whole big list of
  • 2:09 - 2:11
things that Ariel has done, from
  • 2:11 - 2:13
training her daughter who, at the moment
  • 2:13 - 2:16
I think is twelve years old, to tattoo.
  • 2:16 - 2:18
I think she said she taught her daughter
  • 2:18 - 2:20
to tattoo at six years old.
  • 2:20 - 2:23
Ariel has also left her daughter to tattoo
  • 2:23 - 2:28
in her tattoo studio by herself, you know
  • 2:28 - 2:31
like this young girl tattooing strangers.
  • 2:31 - 2:33
And there is no laws against it, trust me
  • 2:33 - 2:35
I've combed through Texas tattoo laws
  • 2:35 - 2:39
there is, like, no laws against Ariel's
  • 2:39 - 2:42
daughter tattooing, it's very very icky to
  • 2:42 - 2:43
    me, though, still.
  • 2:43 - 2:44
    Like, that's just not right.
  • 2:44 - 2:47
Ariel's tattoo hygienic practices are very
  • 2:47 - 2:49
    very very questionable.
  • 2:49 - 2:50
She also claims that she runs an
  • 2:50 - 2:54
'all-female run' tattoo studio, but in the
  • 2:54 - 2:56
background, you'll just see her husband
  • 2:56 - 2:58
walking about. That's not an 'all-female
  • 2:58 - 2:59
run' tattoo studio, if you ask me.
  • 2:59 - 3:01
And there is honestly so many more things
  • 3:01 - 3:03
that Ariel has done, but I want to keep
  • 3:03 - 3:06
this brief, short and sweet, and if you
  • 3:06 - 3:08
want to know more then of course, like I
  • 3:08 - 3:09
said, I have more videos on Ariel.
  • 3:09 - 3:12
So, there is new things happening within
  • 3:12 - 3:16
the Ariel DeJesus universe right now.
  • 3:16 - 3:17
I got a message from the lovely Justine
  • 3:17 - 3:19
Lucy who I've mentioned a few times across
  • 3:19 - 3:22
my channel, she is a wonderful tattoo
  • 3:22 - 3:25
artist, very very very talented, and she
  • 3:25 - 3:27
    also sometimes makes tattoo-related
  • 3:27 - 3:28
    content, mainly on TikTok.
  • 3:28 - 3:30
Anyway, she messaged me on Instagram and
  • 3:30 - 3:32
she was like, "Hey, have you seen, like,
  • 3:32 - 3:34
this new Ariel DeJesus situation going
  • 3:34 - 3:37
on?" and I was like, "Oh, god, what now?
  • 3:38 - 3:41
Like, what now? Seriously, can we have a
  • 3:41 - 3:43
month off?" Like, it's every month with
  • 3:43 - 3:44
    this woman, I swear.
  • 3:44 - 3:46
So, Justine sent me a couple of links
  • 3:46 - 3:49
for me to look into, all of this, and oh,
  • 3:50 - 3:53
honey... let's start. Let's just start ok?
  • 3:53 - 3:55
So, the person that's made a couple of
  • 3:55 - 3:57
TikToks about this situation's name isn't
  • 3:57 - 3:59
listed anywhere on her profile, so I'm
  • 3:59 - 4:01
just gonna call her Okie because her
  • 4:01 - 4:03
    username is okie_lady48.
  • 4:03 - 4:05
So, her name's Okie, okay? Okie, okay?
  • 4:06 - 4:09
So, anyway, Okie, on the 15th of August
  • 4:09 - 4:11
uploaded this image on TikTok, it's
  • 4:11 - 4:13
literally just the picture, it's a selfie
  • 4:13 - 4:14
    and then on it says
  • 4:14 - 4:16
"Headed to Texas tomorrow to see Ariel
  • 4:16 - 4:18
    DeJesus, hubby getting a tattoo".
  • 4:18 - 4:20
So, this is like, the day before the
  • 4:20 - 4:22
    appointment, and everything seems good,
  • 4:22 - 4:23
    everything seems fine.
  • 4:23 - 4:25
She's just very excited about the fact
  • 4:25 - 4:27
that she's going to go see Ariel DeJesus
  • 4:27 - 4:28
and her husband is about to get a tattoo
  • 4:28 - 4:30
    by her. Standard behaviour, right?
  • 4:30 - 4:32
On this TikTok picture upload that are
  • 4:32 - 4:34
your standard comments that you would see
  • 4:34 - 4:36
on a post like this from, you know,
  • 4:36 - 4:38
    followers, and people passing by
  • 4:38 - 4:40
there's comments that say, "Drive Safe!"
  • 4:40 - 4:42
    Another one says, "Looking beautiful!"
  • 4:42 - 4:44
Another one says, "Can't wait to see it!"
  • 4:44 - 4:46
    You know, nice, wholesome comments!
  • 4:46 - 4:48
Everything seems good right now, alright?
  • 4:48 - 4:49
    Yeah, okay, great. Oh boy.
  • 4:50 - 4:51
    You know what's coming.
  • 4:51 - 4:53
Then, two days afterwards on the 17th of
  • 4:53 - 4:56
August, Okie uploaded a TikTok that has a
  • 4:56 - 4:59
picture of a before and after of her
  • 4:59 - 5:00
    husband's tattoo.
  • 5:00 - 5:04
In this TikTok, Okie asks a very very
  • 5:04 - 5:06
    loaded question.
  • 5:06 - 5:09
"Went to Ariel over in Fortworth, Texas.
  • 5:09 - 5:14
This is the before, and this is the after.
  • 5:14 - 5:17
It is a cover-up, keep in mind, okay?
  • 5:17 - 5:19
So, y'all, let me know in the comments
  • 5:19 - 5:22
what you actually think. Please don't
  • 5:22 - 5:24
spare anything. I wanna know the truth"
  • 5:25 - 5:29
Yeah. So, I mean, if you have to ask, then
  • 5:29 - 5:31
    you know something's wrong, right?
  • 5:31 - 5:33
If you have to ask "Oh, is my tattoo bad?"
  • 5:33 - 5:34
it's like you already know the answer.
  • 5:34 - 5:36
You know, like, if you have to ask you
  • 5:36 - 5:38
    subconsciously probably already know the
  • 5:38 - 5:39
    answer to this, okay?
  • 5:39 - 5:41
This for a cover-up is terrible.
  • 5:41 - 5:42
This for a tattoo is terrible.
  • 5:42 - 5:44
Let's be serious, if it was a tattoo
  • 5:44 - 5:46
    alone, it's terrible, but as a cover-up,
  • 5:46 - 5:48
it's even worse because you can still see
  • 5:48 - 5:50
    the original tattoo underneath it.
  • 5:50 - 5:53
Of course, as always, with, um, Ariel,
  • 5:53 - 5:56
    the linework is absolutely horrendous,
  • 5:56 - 5:58
the circles around the top of the helmet
  • 5:58 - 5:59
    thing are just...
  • 5:59 - 6:00
I mean, there is absolutely no
  • 6:00 - 6:01
    structure to them.
  • 6:01 - 6:03
And this photo that you're seeing
  • 6:03 - 6:04
right now is of it fresh.
  • 6:04 - 6:06
And when you first get a tattoo,
  • 6:06 - 6:08
everything is a lot more saturated,
  • 6:08 - 6:09
    a lot more darker.
  • 6:09 - 6:11
As this tattoo heals, and as we will see
  • 6:11 - 6:12
    later in this video,
  • 6:12 - 6:15
more of the original tattoo peeks through,
  • 6:15 - 6:17
of course, because everything starts to
  • 6:17 - 6:19
    settle down and heal.
  • 6:19 - 6:21
We have a closeup as well of this, okay,
  • 6:21 - 6:23
and please just tell me that...
  • 6:25 - 6:27
how can you send a client out of the door
  • 6:27 - 6:29
with this quality of work and be okay with
  • 6:29 - 6:30
it? Like, what is going on in this
  • 6:30 - 6:32
section right here, please and thank you.
  • 6:32 - 6:34
So, it was a comment from Olivia,
  • 6:34 - 6:36
who has made quite a few, um, TikToks
  • 6:36 - 6:38
about Ariel, she kind of keeps everyone up
  • 6:38 - 6:40
to date on what is happening in Ariel
  • 6:40 - 6:43
    world, okay, she commented saying,
  • 6:43 - 6:45
"Man, she did you dirty. I'm so sorry.
  • 6:45 - 6:47
As a coverup artist, this could've been so
  • 6:47 - 6:48
    much better."
  • 6:48 - 6:50
    Which I completely agree with.
  • 6:50 - 6:52
Okie replied saying, "Right, like it was
  • 6:52 - 6:54
25 years old," which was the original
  • 6:54 - 6:56
tattoo, "and lightened up so much it
  • 6:56 - 6:58
wouldn't have been hard. I'm disgusted
  • 6:58 - 7:00
that we didn't do better research."
  • 7:00 - 7:01
The thing to me with this is
  • 7:01 - 7:05
Ariel has so much work on her TikTok
  • 7:05 - 7:08
account, she uploads at least once a day
  • 7:08 - 7:10
if not multiple times a day.
  • 7:10 - 7:14
There is so much evidence, oh my goodness
  • 7:15 - 7:17
the ghost of Ariel's trying to choke me.
  • 7:18 - 7:20
There is so much evidence on Ariel's
  • 7:20 - 7:23
TikTok that she is a terrible, way below
  • 7:23 - 7:25
average tattoo artist, is kind of, like,
  • 7:25 - 7:27
there's enough proof there, like, all we
  • 7:27 - 7:29
have to do is scroll through for like
  • 7:29 - 7:31
ten minutes and that's enough research
  • 7:31 - 7:33
in my opinion, when it comes to Ariel
  • 7:33 - 7:35
you know, you don't have to dig too deep
  • 7:35 - 7:37
to find out that she isn't a great tattoo
  • 7:37 - 7:40
artist, but I guess sometimes people just
  • 7:40 - 7:42
don't have an eye for what's good and
  • 7:42 - 7:44
what's bad when it comes to tattoos.
  • 7:44 - 7:45
    Which is understandable.
  • 7:45 - 7:46
If you don't have a huge interest in
  • 7:46 - 7:48
    it, you're not gonna know.
  • 7:48 - 7:50
"I'm sorry hun, it looks so bad, needs a
  • 7:50 - 7:51
lot of fixing. Hope you find someone
  • 7:51 - 7:52
    amazing."
  • 7:52 - 7:54
"Thank you so much, it does look worse day
  • 7:54 - 7:56
by day, the ink is coming out, so I am
  • 7:56 - 7:58
praying it all ends up falling out.
  • 7:58 - 7:59
Make a good cover-up easier then.
  • 7:59 - 8:01
Just gotta let it heal," which is true,
  • 8:01 - 8:03
if you've just had a tattoo, you need to
  • 8:03 - 8:06
wait at least four weeks to eight weeks
  • 8:06 - 8:10
until you can do more tattooing on that
  • 8:10 - 8:11
    area, you know?
  • 8:11 - 8:12
"I'm an artist, it's absolute crap.
  • 8:12 - 8:14
I don't get why anyone goes to her after
  • 8:14 - 8:15
    seeing her TikTok.
  • 8:15 - 8:18
The linework is the most shaky I have ever
  • 8:18 - 8:20
seen, the proportions are off, the shading
  • 8:20 - 8:21
    is... I don't even know."
  • 8:21 - 8:23
"Yeah, we didn't see all that in the
  • 8:23 - 8:24
tattoos we looked at, but we aren't
  • 8:24 - 8:26
professional, and haven't messed with a
  • 8:26 - 8:29
tattoo in over 25 years, and never at a
  • 8:29 - 8:30
    shop, always at friends' homes.
  • 8:30 - 8:31
    Lesson learned."
  • 8:32 - 8:33
    God.
  • 8:33 - 8:36
Oh, I mean you all know my feelings toward
  • 8:36 - 8:38
    home tattooing, but...
  • 8:40 - 8:42
We're basically dealing with people here
  • 8:42 - 8:45
that have zero interest within tattoos
  • 8:45 - 8:47
okay, so I'm not gonna be pointing fingers
  • 8:47 - 8:50
at them too much for not knowing that much
  • 8:50 - 8:51
    when it comes to tattoos.
  • 8:51 - 8:53
Because we were all there once,
  • 8:53 - 8:53
    weren't we?
  • 8:53 - 8:54
I was once upon a time.
  • 8:54 - 8:56
"I think it needs shading for sure,
  • 8:56 - 8:58
but yeah, they need to add more details
  • 8:58 - 9:00
and honestly, I think you need to go back
  • 9:00 - 9:02
to them and speak to a manager."
  • 9:02 - 9:04
Ariel is the manager of this tattoo studio
  • 9:04 - 9:06
so, there's no one higher than Ariel.
  • 9:06 - 9:07
Okie then asked in her TikTok
  • 9:07 - 9:11
if anybody knows of any cover-up artists
  • 9:11 - 9:13
    within the Oklahoma area
  • 9:13 - 9:15
cause her husband wants it dealt with.
  • 9:15 - 9:17
Okay, like her husband wants it gone.
  • 9:17 - 9:20
"And also, anybody know any Oklahoma
  • 9:20 - 9:23
artists that are good at shading, and
  • 9:23 - 9:26
covering up raspberry blood, that would be
  • 9:26 - 9:29
awesome too. Tag them, tag them in this.
  • 9:29 - 9:32
Let's get this out there to people that
  • 9:32 - 9:36
can fix this for my poor husband."
  • 9:36 - 9:38
Luckily, as always when something like
  • 9:38 - 9:41
this happens within the tattoo universe,
  • 9:41 - 9:43
lots of tattoo enthusiasts and tattoo
  • 9:43 - 9:46
lovers, and tattoo artists and artists
  • 9:46 - 9:48
come forward and try and help people in
  • 9:48 - 9:50
    these situtations.
  • 9:50 - 9:52
There were literally artists from all over
  • 9:52 - 9:54
    the world offering their help,
  • 9:54 - 9:57
when it comes to, like, covering this up.
  • 9:57 - 9:59
And it was honestly so wholesome to scroll
  • 9:59 - 10:01
through the comments and see comments
  • 10:01 - 10:02
    that were like that,
  • 10:02 - 10:04
this is truly what the tattoo community
  • 10:04 - 10:05
    is all about.
  • 10:05 - 10:07
And like I was just saying, Okie's husband
  • 10:07 - 10:09
is probably gonna have to wait at least
  • 10:09 - 10:12
4-8 weeks until this can be dealt with,
  • 10:12 - 10:14
but as Ariel did the absolute bare minumum
  • 10:14 - 10:17
with this tattoo, it should honestly be a
  • 10:17 - 10:18
    pretty easy fix.
  • 10:18 - 10:20
To be honest with you, it just needs
  • 10:20 - 10:21
to be darkened up, so so much,
  • 10:21 - 10:23
and then to go over the linework a bit
  • 10:23 - 10:25
just to make it a little bit more smooth
  • 10:25 - 10:27
    and saturated, you know?
  • 10:27 - 10:29
It just needs a lot of tweaking.
  • 10:29 - 10:31
Okie then goes on to talk about Ariel as a
  • 10:31 - 10:32
    person.
  • 10:32 - 10:34
"This is a picture of me and her.
  • 10:34 - 10:37
I think she is super super super nice,
  • 10:37 - 10:41
me and her got along very very good.
  • 10:41 - 10:44
She's a very nice person, she has a great
  • 10:44 - 10:49
sense of humour, um, and, she was super
  • 10:49 - 10:53
nice. I just hate that the tattoo turned
  • 10:53 - 10:54
    out the way it did."
  • 10:54 - 10:56
This doesn't surprise me, to be honest
  • 10:56 - 10:57
    with you.
  • 10:57 - 10:59
    I've discussed Ariel's personality and
  • 10:59 - 11:01
    behaviour towards her clients before,
  • 11:01 - 11:04
and I have said in the past, she does seem
  • 11:04 - 11:06
incredibly sweet and, you know, like,
  • 11:06 - 11:07
    friendly and bubbly.
  • 11:07 - 11:09
A big part of me kind of does believe that
  • 11:09 - 11:11
    this is all for cameras.
  • 11:11 - 11:14
You know, she films literally every tattoo
  • 11:14 - 11:16
    appointment that she has,
  • 11:16 - 11:18
so there's always cameras about and
  • 11:18 - 11:19
    what have you.
  • 11:19 - 11:20
I'd love to know what she's like when
  • 11:20 - 11:22
    there is no cameras about,
  • 11:22 - 11:23
like is she like this all the time?
  • 11:23 - 11:25
Or is it just for show?
  • 11:25 - 11:27
I feel like she tries to keep up this
  • 11:27 - 11:29
persona of the fact that she is super
  • 11:29 - 11:30
sweet and super nice to her clients.
  • 11:30 - 11:32
Cause then if anybody says anything bad
  • 11:32 - 11:34
about her, well, you're just a hater.
  • 11:34 - 11:36
"Look, I'm just a sweet, lovely woman,
  • 11:36 - 11:38
I just want to do my tattoos, and I just
  • 11:38 - 11:40
wanna make everything so accessible for
  • 11:40 - 11:42
everyone, I charge very cheaply, I do it
  • 11:42 - 11:44
very quickly so you're in and out the door
  • 11:44 - 11:46
    I'm very nice to you.
  • 11:46 - 11:47
You know, if you come up against me,
  • 11:47 - 11:49
then you're just evil. You're horrible."
  • 11:49 - 11:51
That's pretty much what Ariel's MO is
  • 11:51 - 11:52
    to me, anyway.
  • 11:52 - 11:55
Now, like I just said, Ariel films pretty
  • 11:55 - 11:57
much every client that walks through
  • 11:57 - 11:57
    the door.
  • 11:57 - 12:01
So of course, we have an Ariel point of
  • 12:01 - 12:06
view of Okie's husband getting this tattoo
  • 12:06 - 12:08
    So let's meet Okie's husband.
  • 12:08 - 12:09
    "Are you ready for this?"
  • 12:09 - 12:10
    "I am."
  • 12:10 - 12:12
"Okay, sweet. Do me a favour,
  • 12:12 - 12:14
state your name and where you're from."
  • 12:14 - 12:16
    "Uh, Nathan Smith, Yukon Oklahoma."
  • 12:16 - 12:18
    "Oklahoma! Awesome."
  • 12:18 - 12:20
    Wonderful, wholesome!
  • 12:20 - 12:21
    He seems great, right?
  • 12:21 - 12:23
He seems like your average, middle-aged
  • 12:23 - 12:25
man, just there to get a cover-up,
  • 12:25 - 12:27
so let's take a look at his reaction to
  • 12:27 - 12:29
    the tattoo that Ariel did.
  • 12:31 - 12:31
    "Very cool."
  • 12:31 - 12:33
    "Is that cool?"
  • 12:34 - 12:36
"Look at that splash of red in there."
  • 12:37 - 12:40
Sorry, I'm so sorry. Like, what is...
  • 12:41 - 12:43
Let's watch that again. Should we watch
  • 12:43 - 12:45
that again? Let's watch that again.
  • 12:46 - 12:47
    "Very cool."
  • 12:47 - 12:48
    "Is that cool?"
  • 12:50 - 12:51
"Look at that splash of red in there."
  • 12:51 - 12:54
Oh, boy. I have honestly been more
  • 12:54 - 12:57
enthused going for a blood test, okay?
  • 12:57 - 13:00
I have had more excitement for the nurse
  • 13:00 - 13:04
doing my blood test, than this man has for
  • 13:04 - 13:06
that tattoo, and I freaking hate blood
  • 13:06 - 13:07
    tests, okay?
  • 13:07 - 13:08
    "Is that cool?"
  • 13:08 - 13:11
Of course, some people aren't very emotive
  • 13:11 - 13:12
and don't show a lot of emotion
  • 13:12 - 13:14
and I will take that into account
  • 13:14 - 13:16
    but, uh, his reaction...
  • 13:18 - 13:20
it just seems like he's just a little bit
  • 13:20 - 13:21
    disappointed, you know?
  • 13:21 - 13:23
Just a little bit, you know?
  • 13:23 - 13:25
he just doesn't seem that enthused
  • 13:25 - 13:26
    about it.
  • 13:26 - 13:27
    "Is that cool?"
  • 13:27 - 13:30
Okie uploaded another TikTok on the 17th
  • 13:30 - 13:32
of August talking about people's reaction
  • 13:32 - 13:35
    to her husband's tattoo.
  • 13:35 - 13:37
"Just sitting here, we got back from
  • 13:37 - 13:38
    running some errands.
  • 13:38 - 13:40
He got quite a few compliments on
  • 13:40 - 13:44
his tattoo. That it was sick, it was bad
  • 13:44 - 13:51
A-S-S, it was, um, cool as F,
  • 13:53 - 13:54
    so it's not bad.
  • 13:54 - 13:57
It looks good if you're not right up on it
  • 13:58 - 14:00
and if you don't now what the cover-up
  • 14:00 - 14:01
    was behind it.
  • 14:01 - 14:03
If you don't know what the tattoo
  • 14:03 - 14:05
    was behind it, I don't think you're
  • 14:05 - 14:06
    going to notice it."
  • 14:06 - 14:07
I don't know who these people
  • 14:07 - 14:09
are, or why they are commenting on
  • 14:09 - 14:11
her husband's tattoo, to be honest with
  • 14:11 - 14:13
you, unless they're going up to people
  • 14:13 - 14:13
    and being like,
  • 14:13 - 14:15
"What do you think about this tattoo"
  • 14:15 - 14:17
which of course, if someone does that,
  • 14:17 - 14:19
you're probably gonna be nice about
  • 14:19 - 14:20
it, you're not gonna be like,
  • 14:20 - 14:21
    "That's ugly",
  • 14:21 - 14:22
    unless you're ballsy.
  • 14:22 - 14:24
There's also a chance that the people
  • 14:24 - 14:25
that are saying that this is
  • 14:25 - 14:26
    good, just think it's good!
  • 14:26 - 14:28
Depending on how many tattoos you've
  • 14:28 - 14:30
been exposed to in your life
  • 14:30 - 14:31
there's a lot of people out there that
  • 14:31 - 14:33
don't know much about tattoos at all
  • 14:33 - 14:34
will see a tattoo and be
  • 14:34 - 14:36
    like, "yeah, that looks cool."
  • 14:36 - 14:38
    Because they've never been exposed
  • 14:38 - 14:39
    to a decent tattoo before.
  • 14:39 - 14:41
But if you have seen a lot of tattoos
  • 14:41 - 14:42
before, if you have a lot of tattoos
  • 14:42 - 14:44
yourself, then you can look at this
  • 14:44 - 14:45
    tattoo and be like,
  • 14:45 - 14:46
    "Yeah, that's not great."
  • 14:46 - 14:47
    And it gets worse.
  • 14:47 - 14:49
Like I mentioned earlier, this tattoo is
  • 14:49 - 14:50
    healing like garbage.
  • 14:50 - 14:51
    "Okay guys, look.
  • 14:51 - 14:55
This is literally, it won't even be seven
  • 14:55 - 14:57
full days until tonight at 8PM.
  • 14:58 - 15:01
Can you not see all the washout?
  • 15:01 - 15:04
I don't even know what to say."
  • 15:04 - 15:06
Seriously, what is this for a cover-up.
  • 15:06 - 15:08
A cover-up, you're meant to get rid of
  • 15:08 - 15:10
the old tattoo as much as you most
  • 15:10 - 15:11
    possibly can.
  • 15:11 - 15:12
This looks like a blastover to me.
  • 15:12 - 15:15
Cause you can still see a lot of the old
  • 15:15 - 15:17
original tattoo, which is not what you're
  • 15:17 - 15:19
meant to do with a cover-up, okay?
  • 15:19 - 15:21
This is honestly so disappointing to see,
  • 15:21 - 15:23
but honestly not shocking at all.
  • 15:23 - 15:25
I'm not really shocked at how this is
  • 15:25 - 15:26
    healing.
  • 15:26 - 15:28
How can Ariel continue to deliver this
  • 15:28 - 15:32
type of shoddy work over and over and over
  • 15:32 - 15:34
again, and expect to get away with it?
  • 15:34 - 15:36
Like, this is probably the first time
  • 15:36 - 15:38
someone has actually created a fuss.
  • 15:38 - 15:40
When it comes to someone getting an Ariel
  • 15:40 - 15:42
tattoo, I feel like most people, kind of,
  • 15:42 - 15:44
either end up liking it because they don't
  • 15:44 - 15:45
    know any better,
  • 15:46 - 15:48
or they kind of just keep quiet, or they
  • 15:48 - 15:49
go to other tattoo artists and
  • 15:49 - 15:51
then get their Ariel tattoos covered up.
  • 15:51 - 15:53
"The original was one of those
  • 15:53 - 15:57
$100 blindfold tattoos that are so
  • 15:57 - 15:59
    infamous in Texas.
  • 15:59 - 16:00
So this whole tattoo is really really
  • 16:00 - 16:02
raised, especially, like, all the spots
  • 16:03 - 16:05
    where all the lines meet,
  • 16:05 - 16:07
it's like a big knot underneath her skin.
  • 16:07 - 16:09
So that's gonna be one of the challenges
  • 16:09 - 16:11
that we have to go through today,
  • 16:12 - 16:14
scar tissue is full of collagen and does
  • 16:14 - 16:16
not like to hold tattoo ink, um,
  • 16:16 - 16:18
this one right here is the worst
  • 16:18 - 16:19
    this little bump.
  • 16:20 - 16:22
It's actually probably the size of a BB,
  • 16:22 - 16:23
like, if you could feel this.
  • 16:23 - 16:26
But, um, we're gonna make it disappear
  • 16:26 - 16:27
    today."
  • 16:31 - 16:33
Now you're probably wondering what Okie's
  • 16:33 - 16:36
husband Nathan's real feelings are towards
  • 16:36 - 16:38
this tattoo, because as you have probably
  • 16:38 - 16:40
noticed, the only person that's doing
  • 16:40 - 16:42
all the talking here is Okie.
  • 16:42 - 16:44
Well, Okie's husband has let his feelings
  • 16:44 - 16:47
be known in one of Okie's TikToks.
  • 16:47 - 16:49
"Just to set the record straight, uh,
  • 16:50 - 16:51
I... I do hate the tattoo.
  • 16:51 - 16:56
    I, I mean, originally, for the first 8, 12
  • 16:56 - 16:58
    hours or so, you know,
  • 16:58 - 17:01
and it does, it looks better than what was
  • 17:01 - 17:04
there, you know, I didn't like that.
  • 17:04 - 17:07
I like the design, but again, that's
  • 17:07 - 17:11
something we took in there to her
  • 17:11 - 17:14
and, uh, was told it would be a cover-up
  • 17:14 - 17:17
but it did not cover-up and... yeah.
  • 17:18 - 17:19
    Not happy."
  • 17:19 - 17:21
    Ugh, yikes.
  • 17:21 - 17:23
I mean, as much as it is entertaining to
  • 17:23 - 17:25
dunk on more Ariel DeJesus tattoos,
  • 17:25 - 17:28
and, you know, just show how terrible her
  • 17:28 - 17:29
    tattoo skills are,
  • 17:29 - 17:32
it truly does suck for the people behind
  • 17:32 - 17:33
the tattoos, the tattoo clients that end
  • 17:33 - 17:36
    up with these terrible tattoos.
  • 17:36 - 17:38
    Tattoo disappointment is awful.
  • 17:38 - 17:40
Trying to fix terrible tattoos is a whole
  • 17:40 - 17:42
process, and Nathan is gonna have to go
  • 17:42 - 17:44
    through this again.
  • 17:44 - 17:47
He had a very old tattoo from his younger
  • 17:47 - 17:49
years, wanted it to be covered up, and he
  • 17:49 - 17:51
thought, 'well, let's just do this cover
  • 17:51 - 17:53
up, and then it's done, don't have to deal
  • 17:53 - 17:55
with it anymore, don't even have to think
  • 17:55 - 17:56
    about it anymore'.
  • 17:56 - 17:58
And now he's gonna have to go through this
  • 17:58 - 17:59
whole process again by having this tattoo
  • 17:59 - 18:00
    fixed.
  • 18:00 - 18:02
And this is obviously not something he
  • 18:02 - 18:04
didn't expect that he would have to deal
  • 18:04 - 18:05
    with.
  • 18:05 - 18:06
You know, when you get a cover-up,
  • 18:06 - 18:08
you think, 'well, anything is better than
  • 18:08 - 18:09
    this old thing.'
  • 18:09 - 18:11
And when you go for a cover-up, you have
  • 18:11 - 18:13
so much hope that the cover-up is gonna be
  • 18:13 - 18:15
so freaking awesome, you're gonna end up
  • 18:15 - 18:17
loving that part of your body again,
  • 18:17 - 18:19
but for Nathan, that hasn't been the case,
  • 18:19 - 18:21
and he's just gonna have to go through
  • 18:21 - 18:23
more tattooing and more healing, and it's
  • 18:23 - 18:24
    just... it's really really sad.
  • 18:24 - 18:26
Nathan then goes on to talk about the fact
  • 18:26 - 18:28
that him and his wife Okie are actually
  • 18:28 - 18:30
en route to go and see another tattoo
  • 18:30 - 18:32
artist to see if anything can be done with
  • 18:32 - 18:34
    what is going on there.
  • 18:34 - 18:37
"Anyways, we... we are on our way to, uh,
  • 18:37 - 18:41
have a guy closer to where we live
  • 18:41 - 18:43
take a look at it, tell us what it'll take
  • 18:43 - 18:44
    to fix it.
  • 18:45 - 18:47
Uh, so hopefully here in a month when this
  • 18:47 - 18:50
is healed, uh, we can get in and get this
  • 18:51 - 18:54
fixed, uh, unless he thinks it's better
  • 18:54 - 18:56
to just cover the whole thing up.
  • 18:56 - 18:58
I guess we'll see what he says."
  • 18:58 - 18:59
    And then, oh boy.
  • 18:59 - 19:01
This is when it starts to get really
  • 19:01 - 19:02
    freaking juicy.
  • 19:02 - 19:05
So, because of Okie's TikToks, Ariel did
  • 19:05 - 19:08
get a bit of backlash on her TikTok that
  • 19:08 - 19:11
she had uploaded of Nathan getting the
  • 19:11 - 19:12
    tattoo, okay?
  • 19:12 - 19:15
Ariel did an absolute dirty one, okay?
  • 19:15 - 19:18
Like, she is so petty she is constantly
  • 19:18 - 19:19
    fighting for her life
  • 19:19 - 19:21
out on TikTok and trying to save her
  • 19:21 - 19:23
reputation, and it just never works.
  • 19:23 - 19:26
But anyway, Ariel uploaded a TikTok
  • 19:26 - 19:28
responding to a comment that said,
  • 19:28 - 19:31
"The way he's already reaching out to
  • 19:31 - 19:32
    other shops for a coverup"
  • 19:32 - 19:34
Instead of Ariel filming a video
  • 19:34 - 19:36
addressing the whole situation and saying
  • 19:36 - 19:38
"Hey, you know what? Like, I've seen this.
  • 19:38 - 19:41
I'm really sorry if Nathan, or Okie's
  • 19:41 - 19:43
husband isn't happy with the tattoo,
  • 19:43 - 19:45
maybe I can try and fix it or try and,
  • 19:45 - 19:47
    you know, rectify the situation."
  • 19:47 - 19:48
Instead of, like, being nice and
  • 19:48 - 19:49
    apologising and saying,
  • 19:49 - 19:51
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry that you are having
  • 19:51 - 19:53
this issue, and your tattoo isn't healing
  • 19:53 - 19:55
the way you want it to heal."
  • 19:55 - 19:58
She uploaded a section of a TikTok that
  • 19:58 - 20:01
Okie had uploaded, I know that's kind of
  • 20:01 - 20:03
confusing, but you'll see what I mean here
  • 20:03 - 20:07
"And he's happy! So, as long has he's
  • 20:07 - 20:09
    happy, that's all that matters."
  • 20:09 - 20:12
So yes, in one of Okie's earlier TikToks
  • 20:12 - 20:15
she did say that yes, her husband was
  • 20:15 - 20:17
happy with the tattoo, to start off with,
  • 20:17 - 20:19
    okay? This was early days.
  • 20:19 - 20:21
But guess what, this may be a shock to
  • 20:21 - 20:23
Ariel and some other people, I don't know,
  • 20:23 - 20:26
um, but people can and will and are
  • 20:26 - 20:28
    allowed to change their mind.
  • 20:29 - 20:30
    Surprise! Woo!
  • 20:30 - 20:32
And to be honest, his reaction to when he
  • 20:32 - 20:34
first saw the tattoo is enough for me to
  • 20:34 - 20:36
solidify the fact that he was never 100%
  • 20:36 - 20:39
    sure on the tattoo anyway.
  • 20:39 - 20:40
    "Is that cool?"
  • 20:41 - 20:42
So, Ariel thinking that she's got a
  • 20:42 - 20:46
'gotcha!' moment here, is so funny to me.
  • 20:46 - 20:48
It's just like, what do you think you're
  • 20:48 - 20:50
    doing here? Because you're... no.
  • 20:50 - 20:52
You aren't doing what you think you're
  • 20:52 - 20:53
    doing.
  • 20:53 - 20:54
Now here's where it gets juicier, okay?
  • 20:54 - 20:57
This is Okie's response to Ariel's TikTok.
  • 20:57 - 21:01
"So, there you go! Ariel trying to take
  • 21:01 - 21:02
    things out of context.
  • 21:03 - 21:05
He said himself he hates the tattoo.
  • 21:05 - 21:08
You want to try change things to make your
  • 21:08 - 21:10
side look good, when that's not gonna work
  • 21:10 - 21:11
    here hun.
  • 21:12 - 21:14
Yeah, 12 hours, but we also didn't get
  • 21:14 - 21:17
home 'til midnight, cause you were two and
  • 21:17 - 21:19
a half hours behind, because of health
  • 21:19 - 21:21
inspectors that you had to pay off
  • 21:21 - 21:23
    to keep your business open."
  • 21:23 - 21:28
    I... oh! Girl, I...
  • 21:29 - 21:31
So, um, this actually isn't that shocking
  • 21:31 - 21:35
to me, per se, because like I've discussed
  • 21:35 - 21:38
in a couple of my Ariel DeJesus videos,
  • 21:38 - 21:40
Ariel's hygiene practices for a tattoo
  • 21:40 - 21:41
    artist...
  • 21:42 - 21:43
    They're shockingly bad.
  • 21:43 - 21:46
    Like, cross-contamination everywhere,
  • 21:46 - 21:47
    you know?
  • 21:47 - 21:49
I feel like Ariel's tattoos do the talking
  • 21:49 - 21:50
    for her as well.
  • 21:50 - 21:53
If she is willing to rush a tattoo and do
  • 21:53 - 21:56
things very half-assed, then what else is
  • 21:56 - 21:59
she doing very rushed, and half-assed
  • 21:59 - 22:02
when it comes to hygienic standards and
  • 22:02 - 22:03
    what have you, like...
  • 22:04 - 22:06
Is that studio even clean? When was the
  • 22:06 - 22:08
last time the floors were mopped?
  • 22:08 - 22:09
Do you know what I'm saying?
  • 22:09 - 22:11
There is probably health code violations
  • 22:11 - 22:13
    everywhere within that tattoo studio.
  • 22:13 - 22:15
"So, we don't get to make it home 'til
  • 22:15 - 22:16
    midnight.
  • 22:16 - 22:18
So, you know, we take the wrap off and
  • 22:18 - 22:21
I'm like, "oh my god! I can see half of
  • 22:21 - 22:22
    your tattoo!"
  • 22:22 - 22:23
And he was like, "nuh uh, really?"
  • 22:23 - 22:25
And so we're both like, 'oh my god'.
  • 22:25 - 22:27
Well, when he had his first wash
  • 22:27 - 22:29
half of that ink right there
  • 22:29 - 22:30
    came off. Gone. Poof!
  • 22:31 - 22:33
    And every day since then,
  • 22:33 - 22:37
when he washes it with his antibacterial
  • 22:37 - 22:37
    soap..."
  • 22:37 - 22:39
    "Dial Unscented."
  • 22:39 - 22:43
"Dial Unscented. Yes. More ink just ch-ch-
  • 22:43 - 22:45
Like, I can see the entire part of the
  • 22:45 - 22:46
skull now. All of it, it's there.
  • 22:46 - 22:49
Both eyes. The nose. All of the top set of
  • 22:49 - 22:51
teeth, bottom set of teeth, the entire
  • 22:51 - 22:53
bottom of the knife, almost all the
  • 22:53 - 22:55
flames. It's all shown through now.
  • 22:55 - 22:57
Because she done such crap work.
  • 22:57 - 23:01
Sorry that my husband was happier with
  • 23:01 - 23:04
crap work than something he got 25 years
  • 23:04 - 23:04
    ago.
  • 23:05 - 23:07
From somebody that was just a friend of
  • 23:07 - 23:08
    his when they were drunk.
  • 23:09 - 23:13
Like, you can't take that as a compliment.
  • 23:13 - 23:15
And if you do, that's pretty freaking sad.
  • 23:16 - 23:19
Peace! We'll let you know what the new
  • 23:19 - 23:20
    tattoo guy says. Bye!"
  • 23:21 - 23:23
She did not come to play.
  • 23:23 - 23:27
Okay? Okie did not come to play, she read
  • 23:27 - 23:29
    Ariel to filth!
  • 23:30 - 23:32
Like I've said, the way this tattoo is
  • 23:32 - 23:34
healing doesn't shock me in any way.
  • 23:34 - 23:36
And it also goes to show the fact that you
  • 23:36 - 23:38
can like a tattoo to start off with, but
  • 23:38 - 23:40
if you notice that it's healing like
  • 23:40 - 23:42
crap, you're allowed to change your mind
  • 23:42 - 23:43
and say, "no, I don't like the way
  • 23:43 - 23:45
this is healing, this does not look good."
  • 23:45 - 23:47
As we can tell, Okie is ride or die for
  • 23:47 - 23:50
her man. And she will stop at nothing when
  • 23:50 - 23:52
someone has done her man wrong.
  • 23:52 - 23:55
And this is the case, okay? Like, she, oh.
  • 23:55 - 23:57
If it ain't like this, I don't want it.
  • 23:57 - 24:00
Okie went to the depths of hell, AKA she
  • 24:00 - 24:03
scrolled very very very far down on
  • 24:03 - 24:05
    Ariel's TikTok page,
  • 24:05 - 24:07
a place that not many have ever been,
  • 24:07 - 24:09
I've never done it myself because again,
  • 24:09 - 24:11
Ariel uploads at least once a day,
  • 24:11 - 24:12
    multiple times a day.
  • 24:12 - 24:13
There is a lot of content on there,
  • 24:13 - 24:16
you'd be there for ages scrolling, okay?
  • 24:16 - 24:18
I don't have the patience for that.
  • 24:18 - 24:20
And I don't think anyone else has ever
  • 24:20 - 24:21
    had the patience for that.
  • 24:21 - 24:23
But Okie did, okay? Because she's not
  • 24:23 - 24:24
    stopping at anything.
  • 24:24 - 24:27
And Okie come across this content from
  • 24:27 - 24:31
Ariel, of Ariel, doing dentistry work.
  • 24:34 - 24:37
So, Okie uploaded a TikTok carousel of
  • 24:37 - 24:39
    screenshots of Ariel's dentistry work
  • 24:39 - 24:41
    from 2021.
  • 24:41 - 24:43
Now Ariel has claimed that she is a tattoo
  • 24:43 - 24:46
artist of 12+ years at this point.
  • 24:46 - 24:49
Um, so, why is a tattoo artist of 12-ish
  • 24:49 - 24:51
    years playing dentist?
  • 24:51 - 24:53
Someone said on this TikTok carousel:
  • 24:53 - 24:54
    "Please say sike."
  • 24:54 - 24:55
Okie replied, "No, I got this from her
  • 24:55 - 24:57
page before she deleted it and blocked
  • 24:57 - 24:58
    me."
  • 24:58 - 25:00
Again, I have not attempted to scroll down
  • 25:00 - 25:03
to 2021 Ariel content, I'd be there for...
  • 25:03 - 25:04
    a long time.
  • 25:04 - 25:06
So, I'd forgot that TikTok now does this
  • 25:06 - 25:08
thing where you can organise someone's
  • 25:08 - 25:10
TikToks, you can do it by oldest, so I did
  • 25:10 - 25:13
    that on Ariel's TikTok profile,
  • 25:13 - 25:16
scrolled down a little bit, and, um,
  • 25:16 - 25:19
I eventually come across the old dentistry
  • 25:19 - 25:22
posts, uh, there it is, yep.
  • 25:22 - 25:24
There it is, right there, it's still
  • 25:24 - 25:26
    there. It's still there.
  • 25:26 - 25:29
Here we go, here's some beautiful teeth
  • 25:29 - 25:30
    pictures.
  • 25:30 - 25:32
    Beautiful. Love that.
  • 25:32 - 25:34
I was going to mention this, but I only
  • 25:34 - 25:35
saw one other creator say it,
  • 25:35 - 25:37
so I wasn't sure if it was true, but I'm
  • 25:37 - 25:38
    far from surprised.
  • 25:38 - 25:40
Yes, I saw the interview where she said
  • 25:40 - 25:42
she learned how to fillings, she used
  • 25:42 - 25:44
acrylic and just thinks she is a dentist.
  • 25:44 - 25:46
So, I was like, 'huh? What, there's
  • 25:46 - 25:48
someone else talking about this? What's
  • 25:48 - 25:49
    going on here.'
  • 25:49 - 25:51
So, of course, me being me, I was like,
  • 25:51 - 25:52
    "Who's talking about this,
  • 25:52 - 25:53
    what's happening here?"
  • 25:53 - 25:55
So, you know, typey typey, Ariel DeJesus,
  • 25:55 - 25:57
dentistry, in the TikTok search bar,
  • 25:57 - 26:00
a TikTok come up from this TikTok creator
  • 26:00 - 26:03
    and tattoo artist, Anarchist Tattoos,
  • 26:03 - 26:05
and in this TikTok that I come across
  • 26:05 - 26:09
they document the fact that there was an
  • 26:09 - 26:11
interview with Ariel that she did
  • 26:11 - 26:13
    dentistry work, just casually.
  • 26:13 - 26:16
"So, Ariel had done an interview on
  • 26:16 - 26:20
Voyage Dallas, and you would not believe
  • 26:20 - 26:23
what else she does, aside from her
  • 26:23 - 26:24
    tattooing.
  • 26:24 - 26:26
'Since then, I took on dentistry.
  • 26:26 - 26:29
I realised when I brought fresh fruit to
  • 26:29 - 26:31
street ministry none of the apples are
  • 26:31 - 26:33
taken,' I think is what she meant,
  • 26:33 - 26:35
'because most people were missing teeth,
  • 26:35 - 26:38
or had really bad cavities. I learn how to
  • 26:38 - 26:41
    do temporary fillings, permanent fillings,
  • 26:41 - 26:45
bridges, overlays etc. Anything that I can
  • 26:45 - 26:48
learn and do in order to help someone in
  • 26:48 - 26:50
need. The sky is the limit, and I will
  • 26:50 - 26:52
    learn how to do it.'
  • 26:52 - 26:54
I mean, at this point, I consider her,
  • 26:54 - 26:56
    like a serial impersonator because
  • 26:56 - 26:59
she didn't have a proper training for
  • 26:59 - 27:01
tattooing, and she said it multiple times,
  • 27:01 - 27:05
and I'm sure she doesn't have the proper
  • 27:05 - 27:07
training and schooling and all the medical
  • 27:07 - 27:09
degrees and whatnot needed for dentistry
  • 27:09 - 27:11
and now she's performing some dentistry."
  • 27:11 - 27:14
This truly was never the curveball I was
  • 27:14 - 27:15
    expecting from Ariel.
  • 27:15 - 27:17
    More crappy tattoos? Yes.
  • 27:17 - 27:20
Maybe someone getting a pretty bad tattoo
  • 27:20 - 27:21
    infection, also yes.
  • 27:21 - 27:26
    But illegal dentistry? No, okay?
  • 27:27 - 27:29
I would never ever assume or expect that
  • 27:29 - 27:33
to be part of, you know, Ariel's archive.
  • 27:33 - 27:34
    But here we are.
  • 27:34 - 27:37
What Ariel is doing, or was doing,
  • 27:37 - 27:39
    I don't think she's doing it anymore.
  • 27:39 - 27:41
Or if she is, she's doing it on the down
  • 27:41 - 27:43
low, and not posting it anywhere.
  • 27:43 - 27:45
Because what she is or was doing
  • 27:45 - 27:47
    is highly illegal.
  • 27:47 - 27:49
I wanted to check the laws in Texas
  • 27:49 - 27:51
    when it comes to dentistry,
  • 27:51 - 27:53
just in case there's, you know, a loophole
  • 27:53 - 27:54
or anything, but I don't think
  • 27:55 - 27:57
Ariel can get away with this one, honestly
  • 27:57 - 27:59
like with some of the crappy stuff she's
  • 27:59 - 28:01
done within tattooing, she's managed to
  • 28:01 - 28:03
get away with cause there's loopholes or
  • 28:03 - 28:04
    what have you,
  • 28:04 - 28:05
    but this one, no.
  • 28:05 - 28:07
So, we have this subchapter insurance of
  • 28:07 - 28:08
    license to practice dentistry,
  • 28:08 - 28:10
    "License required.
  • 28:10 - 28:12
A person may not practice or offer to
  • 28:12 - 28:14
practice dentistry or dental surgery or
  • 28:14 - 28:16
    represent that the person practices
  • 28:16 - 28:18
dentistry, unless the person holds a
  • 28:18 - 28:20
    license issued by the board.
  • 28:20 - 28:22
An applicant for a license to practice
  • 28:22 - 28:25
dentistry must be at least 21 years of age
  • 28:25 - 28:28
and present proof of a graduation from a
  • 28:28 - 28:30
dental school accredited by the commission
  • 28:30 - 28:33
of dental accreditation of the American
  • 28:33 - 28:36
Dental Association, or graduation from a
  • 28:36 - 28:38
dental school that's not accredited by the
  • 28:38 - 28:41
    commission and successful completion of
  • 28:41 - 28:44
training in an American Dental Association
  • 28:44 - 28:46
    approved speciality in an education
  • 28:46 - 28:48
program accredited by the commission that
  • 28:48 - 28:51
consists of the last 2 years of training.
  • 28:51 - 28:53
As specified by the council of dental
  • 28:53 - 28:55
education, the board shall grant a dental
  • 28:55 - 28:58
license to an applicant that meets the
  • 28:58 - 29:00
qualifications of this section, pays an
  • 29:00 - 29:02
applicant fee set by the board, and
  • 29:02 - 29:06
    satisfactorily passes the examination
  • 29:06 - 29:07
    required by the board."
  • 29:07 - 29:09
All of this stuff, I believe Ariel does
  • 29:09 - 29:11
not possess in any way, shape or form.
  • 29:11 - 29:14
Minus being over 21. She's nailed that
  • 29:14 - 29:16
one. She's got that one down.
  • 29:16 - 29:18
I also checked on this website where you
  • 29:18 - 29:21
can see if someone has a license.
  • 29:21 - 29:23
I obviously don't know much info about
  • 29:23 - 29:26
Ariel, all I could put in was a location
  • 29:26 - 29:27
    and her name
  • 29:27 - 29:29
I don't know if she has a license number,
  • 29:29 - 29:31
    but, yeah.
  • 29:31 - 29:34
Nothing was coming up with the multiple
  • 29:34 - 29:36
different ways that I tried to search for
  • 29:36 - 29:37
    her.
  • 29:37 - 29:38
She learned to do this, God knows how,
  • 29:38 - 29:41
I dread to think, honestly, some back
  • 29:41 - 29:44
alley thing on YouTube, who the frick
  • 29:44 - 29:45
    knows, okay?
  • 29:45 - 29:48
This whole thing is truly terrifying.
  • 29:48 - 29:50
Could you imagine going to a dentist that
  • 29:50 - 29:53
hasn't been to dental school, hasn't
  • 29:53 - 29:55
learned everything you need to learn when
  • 29:55 - 29:57
it comes to being a dentist.
  • 29:57 - 30:00
Like, what the actual hell are you playing
  • 30:00 - 30:00
    at, Ariel?
  • 30:00 - 30:06
    Like, this is... beyond dangerous.
  • 30:06 - 30:07
    Like what the fuck...?
  • 30:07 - 30:09
    There's this comment that says,
  • 30:09 - 30:11
"I just know she's putting some random
  • 30:11 - 30:12
acrylic or something on top of these
  • 30:12 - 30:14
    cavities, she's not drilling, cleaning,
  • 30:14 - 30:15
    nothing, what the fuck."
  • 30:15 - 30:17
"I think that's exactly what she is doing
  • 30:17 - 30:19
and that truly terrifies me. Infections in
  • 30:19 - 30:21
the teeth can spread so fast."
  • 30:21 - 30:22
    A good point.
  • 30:22 - 30:24
I obviously don't know much about
  • 30:24 - 30:26
dentistry or dental work or anything that
  • 30:26 - 30:29
is not my field of expertise or interest
  • 30:29 - 30:29
    at all.
  • 30:29 - 30:32
But what she was or is doing here is so
  • 30:32 - 30:33
    incredibly dangerous.
  • 30:33 - 30:35
There is so much room for error when it
  • 30:35 - 30:38
comes to dentistry, you know? Like,
  • 30:38 - 30:38
    oh god...
  • 30:39 - 30:41
If you're just gonna put a random filling
  • 30:41 - 30:44
over something that could be infected,
  • 30:44 - 30:46
you're trapping that infection in there.
  • 30:46 - 30:48
It's just a recipe for disaster!
  • 30:48 - 30:50
And then there's this comment that pretty
  • 30:50 - 30:52
much nails it on the head, it says,
  • 30:52 - 30:53
"It's gonna take someone dying at this
  • 30:53 - 30:55
rate to shut her down. I don't know how
  • 30:55 - 30:57
people are thinking going to her is a good
  • 30:57 - 30:58
    idea for ANYTHING."
  • 30:58 - 30:59
    I fully agree.
  • 30:59 - 31:02
It's gonna take someone being seriously
  • 31:02 - 31:04
injured, for some type of authority to
  • 31:04 - 31:06
    take this seriously.
  • 31:06 - 31:07
And even then, are they gonna take this
  • 31:07 - 31:09
seriously, cause they might just be like,
  • 31:09 - 31:11
    "well, you know, accidents happen."
  • 31:11 - 31:13
Blame it on the client or what have you.
  • 31:13 - 31:15
    Ariel's problematic practices are gonna
  • 31:15 - 31:17
lead to someone coming close to death with
  • 31:17 - 31:19
a serious infection, whether that's in
  • 31:19 - 31:21
their mouth or on their skin
  • 31:21 - 31:23
which can then lead to sepsis, okay, and
  • 31:23 - 31:25
then, I don't know if you know this, but
  • 31:25 - 31:26
    sepsis is terrifying.
  • 31:26 - 31:29
    You can die from sepsis.
  • 31:29 - 31:31
It is a horrible thing to go through.
  • 31:31 - 31:33
Okie replied to this comment saying,
  • 31:33 - 31:35
"I think the teeth is on a lot of homeless
  • 31:35 - 31:37
so they wouldn't even know, sadly."
  • 31:37 - 31:42
    Which, obviously, we don't know.
  • 31:42 - 31:43
We don't know if that's true or not, but
  • 31:43 - 31:46
Ariel does have this whole motive of
  • 31:46 - 31:48
    wanting to help people.
  • 31:48 - 31:50
She does this whole Tattooing for Christ
  • 31:50 - 31:54
thing, she accepts big donations of food
  • 31:54 - 31:56
or water in exchange for tattoos,
  • 31:56 - 32:00
so then she can then donate this food and
  • 32:00 - 32:01
water and what have you to homeless
  • 32:01 - 32:03
shelters or those who need the food or
  • 32:03 - 32:04
    water.
  • 32:04 - 32:06
"...wanna show everyone how you paid for
  • 32:06 - 32:07
    this tattoo?"
  • 32:08 - 32:11
    "Sports drinks too? Okay, cool!
  • 32:11 - 32:12
    And everything here...
  • 32:13 - 32:15
    That is awesome.
  • 32:15 - 32:19
    Got some deodorants, deodorants, whoops!
  • 32:19 - 32:23
    Toothpaste, socks, and...
  • 32:26 - 32:28
    Wipes! Disinfectant wipes."
  • 32:28 - 32:30
    The thing with Ariel is,
  • 32:30 - 32:33
it's very obvious that she's trying to
  • 32:33 - 32:35
help, because again she charges minimal
  • 32:35 - 32:37
for her tattoos to make the tattoos
  • 32:37 - 32:39
    accessible for everybody, which, okay
  • 32:39 - 32:41
great, but in exchange for that,
  • 32:41 - 32:43
you are giving people terrible tattoos
  • 32:43 - 32:45
and potentially harming them, or sending
  • 32:45 - 32:47
them off, and then they are gonna have
  • 32:47 - 32:49
to get tattooed by other artists,
  • 32:49 - 32:51
and then they're spending more money
  • 32:51 - 32:53
because Ariel has given them shoddy work.
  • 32:53 - 32:54
    "Is that cool?"
  • 32:55 - 32:57
And with this whole dentistry thing as
  • 32:57 - 32:59
well, a part of me thinks maybe she did
  • 32:59 - 33:02
learn to do this however she learned how
  • 33:02 - 33:03
to do it, I dread to think.
  • 33:03 - 33:05
Because she wanted to help those that
  • 33:05 - 33:08
didn't have money to go and see a dentist,
  • 33:08 - 33:09
so she was like, 'oh, you know what?
  • 33:09 - 33:11
Let me learn how to do this and I will
  • 33:11 - 33:13
help those that are in pain, or that are
  • 33:13 - 33:14
    in need.
  • 33:14 - 33:16
Like, okay, that's all well and good,
  • 33:16 - 33:18
I see maybe you had good intentions
  • 33:18 - 33:21
behind this, but shoddy dentistry work can
  • 33:21 - 33:23
lead to a world of problems.
  • 33:23 - 33:25
And especially if it is on homeless people
  • 33:25 - 33:28
they have absolutely no access to dentists
  • 33:28 - 33:32
should they be, you know, in a world of
  • 33:32 - 33:33
    pain.
  • 33:33 - 33:34
    Especially in America.
  • 33:34 - 33:36
With peace and love, America, I'm sorry
  • 33:36 - 33:39
your healthcare system is fucked, okay?
  • 33:39 - 33:41
If you are poor or don't have enough money
  • 33:41 - 33:43
or don't have health insurance, you are
  • 33:43 - 33:44
    fucked.
  • 33:44 - 33:46
You will just put yourself in more debt,
  • 33:46 - 33:48
or you just have to deal with the pain.
  • 33:48 - 33:51
So I can see why Ariel thinks she is doing
  • 33:51 - 33:53
a good thing here because she is helping
  • 33:53 - 33:55
those that don't have enough money,
  • 33:55 - 33:57
but in reality she isn't helping anybody
  • 33:57 - 33:58
because you are making people go and get
  • 33:58 - 34:00
    cover-ups, you're gonna make people,
  • 34:00 - 34:02
    you know, have tooth infections.
  • 34:02 - 34:04
I honestly, I hope that people that she
  • 34:04 - 34:06
did do this dentistry work on are okay.
  • 34:06 - 34:09
We'll never ever know if they are okay, or
  • 34:09 - 34:11
were okay, or did they end up having to,
  • 34:11 - 34:13
you know, go to the dentist and, oh god.
  • 34:13 - 34:14
    It's just...
  • 34:15 - 34:17
I fully believe Ariel needs an
  • 34:17 - 34:18
    intervention.
  • 34:18 - 34:21
Someone needs to grab a hold of her and
  • 34:21 - 34:23
be like, 'what the hell are you doing?'
  • 34:23 - 34:25
and tell her she needs to start acting
  • 34:25 - 34:26
    right, okay?
  • 34:26 - 34:28
    This is too much.
  • 34:28 - 34:30
    Because what's next?
  • 34:30 - 34:32
    What is next.
  • 34:32 - 34:34
What is going on behind closed doors
  • 34:34 - 34:37
because this whole dentistry thing has
  • 34:37 - 34:39
gone under the radar for a little while
  • 34:39 - 34:42
    now, like, 2021, we're in 2024 now.
  • 34:42 - 34:43
    That's three years, okay?
  • 34:43 - 34:47
What else from Ariel's past do we not know
  • 34:47 - 34:50
about that could be even more problematic.
  • 34:50 - 34:52
And honestly at this point, I don't think
  • 34:52 - 34:53
there's anything that's ever gonna be
  • 34:53 - 34:54
    shocking to us now
  • 34:54 - 34:56
    because of this dentistry thing
  • 34:56 - 34:58
like, someone's gonna find evidence of her
  • 34:58 - 35:02
being some kind of surgeon next, you know?
  • 35:02 - 35:03
For all we know, she's been performing
  • 35:03 - 35:06
appendectomies. Is that how you say it?
  • 35:06 - 35:08
    Appendec- appendec-
  • 35:09 - 35:11
Wow, my years of Grey's Anatomy, um,
  • 35:11 - 35:13
knowledge, has just gone out the window.
  • 35:13 - 35:15
Basically, I would not be shocked if Ariel
  • 35:15 - 35:17
has been taking out people's appendici-
  • 35:17 - 35:18
    Appendici-
  • 35:19 - 35:21
    Appendixes!
  • 35:22 - 35:24
    Appendicitises.
  • 35:25 - 35:27
It's time for Lauren to lay down, I think.
  • 35:27 - 35:29
As much as I normally respect the hustle
  • 35:29 - 35:30
of someone trying to help people,
  • 35:30 - 35:33
I honestly feel like you should not be
  • 35:33 - 35:35
doing stuff that you haven't been to
  • 35:35 - 35:36
    school for, you know, especially,
  • 35:36 - 35:38
    you know, with dentistry.
  • 35:38 - 35:40
I feel like a lot of people can kind of
  • 35:40 - 35:42
accept her tattoo work and her tattooing,
  • 35:42 - 35:44
but I feel like a lot of people are gonna
  • 35:44 - 35:46
draw the line at this dentistry thing.
  • 35:46 - 35:48
And if that isn't the limit for people,
  • 35:48 - 35:50
    then what is?
  • 35:51 - 35:53
What the hell is the limit here?
  • 35:53 - 35:56
Because, like, again, does she need to
  • 35:56 - 35:57
kill someone for people to take this
  • 35:57 - 35:58
    seriously?
  • 35:58 - 36:00
But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how
  • 36:00 - 36:01
all of this does play out.
  • 36:01 - 36:04
Like I said in my last video, I won't do
  • 36:04 - 36:06
    anymore Ariel content unless something
  • 36:06 - 36:08
    pretty notable comes up.
  • 36:08 - 36:10
There's no point in me continuously
  • 36:10 - 36:12
bashing her tattoo work in loads of
  • 36:12 - 36:13
different videos and what have you,
  • 36:13 - 36:15
because, like, we get the point.
  • 36:15 - 36:16
    Her work is terrible.
  • 36:16 - 36:18
But if something like this dentistry
  • 36:18 - 36:20
comes up, or any news about this dentistry
  • 36:20 - 36:23
thing, or what have you, then...
  • 36:23 - 36:24
I'll keep you updated, I guess, if you
  • 36:24 - 36:26
    wanna see any updates.
  • 36:26 - 36:28
But I feel like Ariel is just gonna create
  • 36:28 - 36:30
more and more problems as time goes by
  • 36:30 - 36:33
    and, I don't know.
  • 36:33 - 36:35
I hope somehow there is an end to it,
  • 36:35 - 36:37
I don't know how the end is
  • 36:37 - 36:39
    because what can be done?
  • 36:39 - 36:42
Alright, her tattoo studio gets shut down.
  • 36:43 - 36:44
She's gonna work from home, let's be
  • 36:44 - 36:45
    serious.
  • 36:45 - 36:47
She'll find a way to carry on tattooing
  • 36:47 - 36:48
    somehow, she'll open another
  • 36:48 - 36:50
establishment somehow, or she'll get hired
  • 36:50 - 36:53
    in another tattoo studio, somehow.
  • 36:53 - 36:55
I feel like Ariel's not gonna stop at
  • 36:55 - 36:56
    anything, you know?
  • 36:58 - 36:59
    Oh god...
  • 36:59 - 37:00
    But yeah, anyways.
  • 37:00 - 37:02
That is it for today's video.
  • 37:02 - 37:04
I just wanna say thank you so much for
  • 37:04 - 37:05
    being here and watching
  • 37:05 - 37:07
I appreciate you all so so much
  • 37:07 - 37:09
and until my next video, I hope you all
  • 37:09 - 37:10
    stay safe and well,
  • 37:10 - 37:13
    and until then, bye!
