Hi everyone, I'm
Jin Yujie.

Yes. "Yujie," the Chinese phrase for
"Jade that is clear as ice."

I've been off the show for...

about one or two months now.

While I've been off the show
this last month or two,

I've been preparing to go back
to school in Korea.

Filling out some paperwork.

But due to the pandemic in Korea

suddenly getting worse again,

So for now, I have been granted a year

in Shanghai to work while I go to school.

Just like when I was in Korea.

It also feels like...

I feel incredibly lucky to be able
to stay in Shanghai.

And keep working on my own things

while I keep going to school.

So while I've been off the show,

I've returned to being a full time
student.

Reading up on the books

I didn't get to read.

Picking up the schoolwork I missed
and so forth.

"Leaving the show was not goodbye:
Keeping up with castmates."

Since leaving the show,

I hang out with my old
roommates a lot.

The six of us.

We'll often go out to eat and talk.

Because we've become

pretty close friends to each other.

After getting to know each other,

it's normally hard to meet so
many good friends.

So behind the scenes,

we've all become really close.

Like today, I'm getting ready to go

and hang out with Carmon.

We're going out to eat.

It's like

if one of us is in a bad place,

or if we have something on our
minds,

we'll talk it out with each other.

We're all very close-knit now.

Originally Nana was invited too.

The three of us going out to eat.

But Nana lately,

since it's winter and the weather
has been bad,

she caught a cold.

So I told her to stay home and rest.

It'll just be me and Carmon today.

"Actually with Binshen..."

So...

Everyone is interested in me and Binshen.

We...
after we left the show,

I have seen Binshen.

Maybe a few times.

Privately,

because the six of us have a
group chat

so we all talk almost every day.

Binshen, in the group chat,

doesn't speak up much

because he's too busy with work.

Pro gamers don't have the same
lifestyle as we do, I think.

They also face a lot of pressure.

So we try not to--

The five of us try not to bother
him.

Also it's hard for him to schedule
time with us.

our friendship is still great.

see each other.

We even went to an escape room.

He's a very thoughtful guy.

As a friend, he's very thoughtful.

A lot has happened in 2020.

Some good, some bad.

I think, for me,

it was a very, very special year.

This year as well,

I think is also a very special year.

Because at the start,

I was introduced to those of you
behind the screen.

You little cuties.

And for me,

maybe the next few years
will be different.

I'm working hard at my job,

at transforming myself.

At sharing more of my day-to-day
with you all.

My fashion knowledge.

And some of my hobbies and interests.

These will all

help me open up myself and share with
you all.
