【新住人インタビュー14】新野俊幸編「1回目のデートで告っちゃうくらいガンガン…」
-
0:00 - 0:07[COSTCO SUBS PRESENTS]
-
0:07 - 0:12[Previously unaired footage]
-
0:13 - 0:15My name is Toshiyuki Niino
and I'm 30 years old. -
0:16 - 0:18I run my own company.
-
0:19 - 0:23We offer a service called "EXIT."
-
0:25 - 0:27[ABOUT YOUR COMPANY]
In one sentence, -
0:27 - 0:30we're an agency that helps
people quit their jobs -
0:30 - 0:33and it's the first of its kind in Japan.
-
0:34 - 0:42We support people who want to quit
but can't do it on their own. -
0:42 - 0:45To be exact, we don't
quit for them. -
0:45 - 0:49They let their employer know
by sending them a resignation letter -
0:50 - 0:52and we take care of the rest.
-
0:52 - 0:56We contact the office for them,
for instance. -
0:57 - 1:02[WHY YOU DECIDED TO START YOUR BUSINESS]
I used to be an office worker. -
1:02 - 1:05I've worked with three different
companies and quit each time -
1:05 - 1:08and it was incredibly hard for me to quit.
-
1:08 - 1:12Letting them know was especially hard.
Incredibly hard. -
1:12 - 1:14It's very uncomfortable,
embarrassing, and scary. -
1:14 - 1:16There were many reasons why
I couldn't tell them. -
1:16 - 1:19And even after I somehow
managed to tell them, -
1:19 - 1:21they always tried to hold me.
-
1:21 - 1:23Like, "Can't you stay
for three more months?" -
1:23 - 1:26or, "Please stay until we find
someone to replace you." -
1:26 - 1:29So it was really hard to quit.
-
1:29 - 1:31And it wasn't just me.
-
1:31 - 1:34When we were drinking, everyone
said they wanted to quit, too. -
1:34 - 1:36But not many can
actually put that into action. -
1:36 - 1:38So after having experienced all of this,
-
1:38 - 1:47I realized that there's a demand
for support in this process -
1:47 - 1:49and I started my business.
-
1:49 - 1:52[REASON FOR JOINING TH]
My main reason for joining -
1:52 - 2:00is that I want to introduce
"EXIT" to a lot of people. -
2:00 - 2:08I want people who suffer like I did
because they can't quit their jobs to know -
2:08 - 2:11that there is a service that
supports them in this process. -
2:12 - 2:14That is the main reason.
-
2:14 - 2:19The reality is that there are people
whose lives are at stake because of this -
2:19 - 2:22which is a big problem
-
2:22 - 2:28and I hope this service can contribute
to finding a solution for this. -
2:29 - 2:35But I also just hope to meet someone nice.
-
2:36 - 2:40[YOUR TYPE]
I... guess I like girls -
2:41 - 2:43who never stop smiling.
-
2:43 - 2:49My emotions don't show on my face,
-
2:50 - 2:55so I find people fascinating
who show a lot of emotions. -
2:56 - 3:00When I see someone smile,
I become more positive. -
3:01 - 3:07I like it when a girl laughs
at something I said casually. -
3:08 - 3:11Out of the past TH members...
-
3:12 - 3:14I'm not sure I remember
her name correctly, -
3:14 - 3:18but there was this model called Risako.
She... -
3:19 - 3:22went on dates with Kyujitsu Kacho.
-
3:22 - 3:25Visually, she's my type.
-
3:27 - 3:29[YOUR DATING STYLE]
I'm very straightforward. -
3:30 - 3:33It's the opposite of how I used to be.
I went to an all-boys school. -
3:33 - 3:35And I couldn't talk to girls at all.
-
3:36 - 3:40Contrary to that, I'm
super straightforward now. -
3:43 - 3:49I usually tell them directly how I feel.
-
3:49 - 3:56I might even tell her I love her
on the first date. -
3:58 - 4:01[YOUR WEAKNESSES]
I'm full of flaws. -
4:04 - 4:06The reason I started my own business was--
-
4:06 - 4:10Of course, I thought I could
help people quit their jobs -
4:12 - 4:14and that there's a demand for that.
-
4:14 - 4:17But I also just can't get out
of bed in the morning. -
4:17 - 4:20Starting work at 9 in the morning
is impossible for me. -
4:20 - 4:23That's another reason why
I started my own business. -
4:24 - 4:27As a person, I'm a failure.
-
4:28 - 4:30I'm full of imperfections.
-
4:33 - 4:35When I had a date with my girlfriend,
-
4:35 - 4:38I'd get up at the time
we were supposed to meet. -
4:40 - 4:42It got better over time, though.
-
4:42 - 4:47But I still have a very hard time getting up
compared to the average person. -
4:50 - 4:54[AGE GAP WITH OTHER HOUSEMATES]
I might be the oldest in this particular house. -
4:55 - 4:58I think I'm probably--
-
4:59 - 5:02I'll be the one who's expected
to offer support and guidance. -
5:03 - 5:05But I don't amount to much.
-
5:05 - 5:09I'm really just a kid inside.
-
5:09 - 5:14On the positive side, I'll be able to
talk to everyone on the same level. -
5:15 - 5:21But they might go like, "Even though
he's 30 years old, he's not very mature." -
5:22 - 5:25I'm scared they'll think like that.
-
5:26 - 5:33If there's someone in the house who
hasn't found their goal or dream yet, -
5:33 - 5:37I'd like to give them some advice.
-
5:38 - 5:42I used to be a NEET
myself for a long time. -
5:43 - 5:47There was a time when I
wasn't thinking about anything. -
5:47 - 5:50But now that I've found
something that I want to do, -
5:50 - 5:54I can work hard for it.
-
5:54 - 5:59So by talking to them about
these things in depth, -
6:00 - 6:06maybe I can help them figure out
what they want to do. -
6:07 - 6:11This might be the value
that I'd be able to add to the table. -
