1:13 - 1:16Indymedia Brazil-DF presents
-
1:17 - 1:23Invaders, invaders, invaders, invaders! Dictatorship! Dictatorship!
-
1:23 - 1:27The dictatorship of speculation.
-
1:27 - 1:30Invaders, invaders!
-
1:30 - 1:34And others protesters VÃO PRA CIMA ALI, they enter in this conflict COM OS SEGURANÇAS!
-
1:34 - 1:36Because in this place,
-
1:36 - 1:38you are seeing that people are taken like this,
-
1:38 - 1:41the most expensive neighborhood in Brasília should be here.
-
1:44 - 1:47It turns out that the area was already inhabited by a group of
-
1:47 - 1:50indigenous people from the Fulni–ô tribe.
-
1:50 - 1:54They still broke down another fence, and threw water on the security mechanisms...
-
1:54 - 1:56The protestors want the construction to be paralized.
-
1:56 - 2:01The confrontation between students, indigenous and construction employees this morning in Brasília.
-
2:01 - 2:08The conflicts between the contractors’ security, the indians and their supporters have been frequent.
-
2:08 - 2:16Trees cut down by the machines, and this has been going in this indigenous farming community for more than 50 years.
-
2:16 - 2:20The detail is that is in the middle of this Class A neighborhood, is the Pajés Sanctuary.
-
2:20 - 2:24However, Terracap wants to reduce it to only four hectares,
-
2:24 - 2:29which would transform it into a kind of indigenous zoo.
-
2:30 - 2:31Stop the machine!
-
2:31 - 2:33In this place known as the Pajés Sanctuary...
-
2:33 - 2:39Note that the one man is spraying what appears to be pepper spray at people,
-
2:39 - 2:43while the other man reacts with a big piece of wood.
-
2:43 - 2:46Even affected by pepper spray, he doesn’t stop.
-
2:48 - 2:54Indigenous people already lost their land a long time ago, there is no respect for our culture.
-
2:55 - 2:57Better you leave here! Get out, Get out!
-
3:00 - 3:02Coronel Charles Magalhães PM-DF
-
3:04 - 3:06Get out! Get out!
-
3:12 - 3:14What is that machine doing?
-
3:15 - 3:17Are you kidding me?
-
3:17 - 3:21The captain, shit, look at that machine damn it!
-
3:22 - 3:25Look at the machine working captain, where is your response?
-
3:27 - 3:28What is he going to do against that?
-
3:53 - 3:58And look at what this guy is doing, he’s going to go up to it, and lie in front of the loader,
-
3:58 - 4:02the machine has to turn around, confusion all around because of this situation
-
4:07 - 4:08Shit!
-
4:08 - 4:10Let's stop this shit!
-
5:02 - 5:07Close to 800 military police take turns in patrolling the area.
-
5:07 - 5:12The huge number of military police went up to the close to fourty students.
-
5:13 - 5:15The PM shouldn’t leave here so soon.
-
5:15 - 5:20The students complain that the construction was just as illegal as the PM occupation.
-
5:20 - 5:25They try to stop Brazilians from understanding the various ethnicities of our people,
-
5:25 - 5:32and all of our diverse culture.... the power simply lies with who makes the orders.
-
5:32 - 5:35The police use a rope to isolate off the bed.
-
5:42 - 5:48In this case, we have two classic problems in relation to indigenous people in the media,
-
5:48 - 5:50which is the speculation.
-
5:51 - 5:58And the most prominent speaker for the Northeast neighborhood is president of a TV channel here in Brasília.
-
5:59 - 6:01You are violating the constitution. Essa terra é indígena!
-
6:01 - 6:03Where's Major?
-
6:03 - 6:04You are violating the Constitution!
-
6:12 - 6:16Mightily armed, federal police have passed all afternoon long in northeast.
-
6:16 - 6:22Federal police have passed much of the afternoom here, to try to avoid any confrontation.
-
6:22 - 6:27Summarizing, the story is that in this place it must be the more expensive neighbohood in Brasilia,
-
6:27 - 6:30but there is a indigenous community that live is this place form more than fifty years.
-
6:33 - 6:38Northeast, westerns, northeast, westerns, northeast, westerns!
-
6:50 - 6:54I wasn’t shaking, a’m shaking. I was means past!
-
6:56 - 6:57Don’t harm, be calm.
-
6:59 - 7:02Someone threw pepper gas here, but anyone didn’t nothing .
-
7:08 - 7:10Military police can not put their hands in indio , they can’t!
-
7:11 - 7:12You will let indian blood here!
-
7:13 - 7:15Stop, dammit! Stop!
-
7:29 - 7:31Open your eyes, Open your eyes.
-
7:31 - 7:38Out PM, out PM. Out PM. Out PM! ( Military police)
-
7:41 - 7:45There is the cameraman making pictures too, look at the moment that the man shoots this spray.
-
7:48 - 7:50I’m about spray effect bro, wait a minute!
-
7:52 - 7:53Take your hands out of me!
-
7:54 - 7:59So, you can see the indigenous with some other protesters. They are following all this confusion.
-
7:59 - 8:01And military police are doing too.
-
8:01 - 8:06Now, they hope to be able to protect what remains from nature in this área.
-
8:06 - 8:09...and yesterday they came into confrontation with the police.
-
8:09 - 8:10Let me go!
-
8:13 - 8:17Hold by legs, hold by legs, ok...
-
8:17 - 8:18Let him go!
-
8:18 - 8:19Stand up, Stand up
-
8:19 - 8:21Oh, you don’t take the câmera, don’t!
-
8:27 - 8:29Congratulations, You got your movie, Charles Bronson!
-
8:30 - 8:33The truck driver moved up protesters
-
8:33 - 8:36Oh, oh, oh stop it!
-
8:36 - 8:38One of the boys reacted, and he was arrested.
-
8:39 - 8:41They’re arresting me here!
-
8:41 - 8:45More police were called and the students chained themselves to machines.
-
8:53 - 8:54Look at that fucking violence!
-
8:58 - 9:02Despite the work of the machines, students continued the protest...
-
9:02 - 9:05thet involved even a little dog that lay in frontoof the truck.
-
9:09 - 9:16...this student was caugth trying to prevent the work of machines, note that she enters in front of the truck
-
9:16 - 9:23From above it is possible to see the moment that a student try to stop the truck advance and she isbaten by security guard
-
9:23 - 9:28A student that has triedto stop a truck was beaten by a security guard.
-
9:31 - 9:35Military police were forced to leave the place some hours later.
-
9:36 - 9:44The order here in the pajés sanctuary is to resist. All Indians from Brasil know, if they don’t resist, they lose their land. Indio is land, it is not possible to separate one from another.
-
9:44 - 9:50The felling that this movement in favor of sanctuary goes far beyond the local strugle...
-
9:50 - 9:55It is inserted in a bigger movement against the greed of speculation.
-
9:56 - 9:59In the midlle of the afternoom, the builders withdrew the machines.
-
10:04 - 10:08"...doing it by destroying the relationship that is raised by the northeast."
-
10:10 - 10:13We will stand up it, we will stand up all this forest again.
-
10:15 - 10:21"Slight step, slight step. Who can’t with the ant, don’t mess the nest."
-
10:21 - 10:28Showing that is possible to be resistant and conclude their rights. We are enforcing our rigths.
-
10:28 - 10:37It doesn’t move a sanctuary! It doesn’t move a sanctuary.
-
10:42 - 10:44Northwest, Western!
-
11:16 - 11:19The dictatorship of speculation.
-
11:24 - 11:31The Sanctuary supporters’ are being processed by federal districto governement e buy the Emplavi Builder.
-
11:31 - 11:36The second stage of construction of the Northwest Sector has been approved. The Sanctuary resists.
-
11:37 - 11:42Look at here, we just have conquest an unprecedented victory in this movement...
-
11:42 - 11:46that was to obligate the truck to plug the hole thet they have done.
-
11:47 - 11:51"Warn those who are looking to buy an apartment with view to the Sanctuary"

O público embarcou no protesto e aplaudiu fervorosamente.
