and welcome to another edition of 'The Legacy Lives On'.

Now, today we will be bringing to you two clips of Prophet T.B. Joshua

speaking about a very important and instructive topic

that I believe will really help your Christian life.

The first clip is taken from the midst of a sermon

and then the second clip is taken from the midst of a testimony

from a young South African lady who received her deliverance

from an evil spirit that led her into a life of witchcraft.

And while Prophet TB Joshua was listening to her testimony,

he used her life experience as an opportunity

to teach people this important spiritual principle.

So, be blessed right now as you learn about the kind of prayer,

the kind of fasting that always attracts the attention of God.

If you don't want satan to enslave you, please work on your character.

This means, as from today, don't begin to ask God, "Heal me!"

Pray against your weakness.

As from today, don't begin to say, "God, bless me!"

Pray against your weakness.

As from today, don't begin to say, "God, protect me!

People are after me! People want to kill me!"

You are wasting your time.

Go straight - pray against your weakness.

That is the avenue satan uses to enter,

to afflict you with poverty,

to afflict you with insecurity,

to afflict you with sickness,

to afflict you with whatever you are talking about.

He uses our weakness to enter us.

If you close that place, no more satan.

Brother, please come. I will disturb you today because you disturb me!

Stand here. Brother, please stand here.

Stand here.

This man will pass here to come to me.

But if two of us close, there is no avenue for him to pass.

It means you live in fullness - abundant life.

What is good is to close this.

This is weakness.

Here is the weaknesses entrance, for this man to enter here and come

and afflict with poverty,

afflict with sickness,

afflict with setback and barrenness - just name every affliction.

This is the place to pass.

Instead, one begins to say, "God, heal me!"

But we keep saying, "Heal me!"

When you are sick, you say, "Heal me!"

When you are poor, you say, "Bless me!"

When you are barren, you say, "Bless me with the fruit of the womb."

No! God is aware; He knows your situation.

When you begin to tell God, "I want to go there" -

it means you say your god is blind.

Someone who created you knows you.

He knows your disposition. He knows your thoughts.

And you are now telling Him, "I am poor - bless me!"

Does it make sense?

What we are saying now - to make it and to get your life fit...

You need to fit your life.

Many lives have been disconnected from the Creator.

In order to fit your life back, as from today, begin to pray against your weakness.

This is what God was telling Apostle Paul.

Three times, he came to God: 'Heal me! I have a thorn in my flesh!'

Each time, the Lord said, "My grace is sufficient for you."

This means, 'My righteousness is sufficient for you.'

Each time Paul said, 'Heal me', God said, 'My grace is sufficient for you.'

It means, 'Seek first the Kingdom. Healing, blessing and everything will be added.'

God used Paul as an example for everyone of us.

We never heard anything after those three times the Lord said,

"My grace is sufficient for you!"

There is no record about that again.

We never heard that disease is what killed Paul.

And Paul lived to the promised age God gave to him.

What is your challenge now? Weaknesses.

Tell your neighbour, "My challenge is my weaknesses, not my hardship,

not my sickness, not my trouble.

My challenge is my weaknesses."

That is your challenge.

If you had been praying against this all this while,

your situation would not remain like this.

In summary, your prayer today should be basically against weaknesses.

"I'm poor" - God is aware.

"I'm sick" - God is aware.

"I'm barren" - God is aware.

Whatever challenges you have, God is aware.

It's unnecessary to begin to itemise.

'I am this! I need this!'

Block the avenue satan uses to afflict you.

Block the entrance satan is using to affect you, which is weakness.

He uses our weakness to affect us.

He uses our weakness to attack us.

He uses our weakness to hit us.

That is weakness. Pray against your weakness.

And once this is blocked, all other things will be added to you.

One thing about weakness -

when you open your mouth and say, 'God, I talk too much!

Please give me the grace. I don't want to talk too much.'

After your prayer, as a human being, you want to practice what you have prayed for.

When you are going and you are about to talk too much,

you will remember that you have prayed against it.

If someone says, "T.B. Joshua, what do you have to say?"

"Don't worry - I will see you later."

Because you don't want to talk too much.

Because it's only a fool who will pray against talking too much

and you leave that prayer and immediately talk too much.

You pray again, 'Lord, I don't want to talk too much.'

By the time you continue to pray against your weakness,

you have to begin to live the life of your prayer.

Tell your neighbour, "Live the life of your prayer."

That is, what you say in your prayer - live it.

'I don't want to talk too much.'

After the prayer, I will live the life of not talking too much.

If you want to fast, the fast that brings an answer from God...

You don't even need God to minister to your heart to go and fast.

Anytime you decide to fast against your weakness, God answers it.

If I am talking to you, let me see your hand.

But any other fasting - you are going to the mountain to fast because you are poor

and you want God to bless you with breakthrough.

If you stay in the bush and begin to fast for four days,

even if you fast for 100 years, you will die there!

Go and fast and pray against weakness and it's a direct answer!

God answers immediately because God wants a relationship builder.

When you build your relationship -

'I talk too much; I don't want to talk too much' - God is always happy.

What matters to God is our relationship, not what we do.

Go and fast - every other thing shall be added to you.

Anytime you have the opportunity to fast because of your weakness,

it's a direct answer.

You have been fasting but there is nothing to show.

Try this from today.

If you can find a day to fast from morning to evening because of your weakness,

you will come here for testimony.

The nightmare you are having - through your weakness, satan comes to attack you.

The hardship you are facing -

satan comes through your weakness to attack you with the spirit of hardship.

The sickness you are having now -

it is through your weakness satan comes to attack you with the spirit of sickness.

Barrenness - through weakness.

Please, let us block this. Pray against it.

Let this be your prayer.

With this, I am happy for your life.

If a person is a Christian, then we go further to look into their lives -

any area of weakness.

They will be at a certain level obviously.

So, we will look at that level that they are,

how often do they pray?

How often do they get angry?

Do they have lust or any weakness?

That could be lust, anger, unforgiveness, hatred or pride.

Rise up.

Is that not educative?

That is why I said stand up and stand up for Jesus.

We have succeeded many times.

She is using the word - no one is perfect, not even one.

That is the angle they are using.

Look at what Paul said, "When I am weak, then I am strong."

In our last meeting, I used the word 'affliction'.

Our afflictions are meant for our spiritual benefit.

And I defined it by saying - we are sometimes tempted

so that we may learn to pray the more.

Now, what she is saying is if that pride is your weakness,

and your prayer line is still there,

the more you are tempted with pride, the more you pray.

Then, they cannot use that angle against you.

Unless they close your prayer line.

If your prayer line is closed, the more you are proud,

the more you are destroyed.

The more that pride, the more your destruction.

But if your prayer line is not closed,

the more that pride comes, the more you pray.

Their aim, use and purpose of weakness is to overthrow you as a Christian.

But instead of overthrowing you, it strengthens you the more.

They are lost.

Are you with me?

Now, I want to carry this, to push this.

The more you try to push me not to push this, the more I push!

You can see the purpose of pushing me out of this place is defeated.

So, therefore, there is no need of pushing me.

The purpose of satan, the reason why satan is bent on using that weakness -

they normally use weakness as a bait.

Now, if the more that attack comes, the more you pray -

that is the meaning of 'our afflictions are meant for our spiritual benefit'.

Affliction could be temptation, poverty, attack, this, that.

But when it comes, it's meant for your spiritual benefit.

You pray the more, fast the more and seek the face of God the more.

So, what she is saying now is that they look at the weakness.

If your weakness is that but your prayer line is there,

then when this attack comes, you pray the more.

They have no right over you.

But when your prayer line is closed -

if they can take your prayer line, they take your life.

That is why the Bible says, "Nothing can separate me."

That is the meaning.

Can weakness? No - if your prayer line is there.

But if your prayer line is closed, weakness can separate you from the love of God.

If I am talking to you, let me see your hand.

If your prayer line is closed, weakness can separate you from the love of God.

But if your prayer line is there, nothing can separate you.

This is what Paul meant.

He said, 'What can separate me? Can thorn? No.

Can weakness? Can infirmity? Can hatred?

He said nothing can separate him because his prayer line was there.

But once they close your prayer line and you cannot pray again, you are finished.

We will talk more about that. You may be seated.

Look at the case of Paul.

He cried out to God three times, not one time.

Three times means three hundred times.

Each time means one hundred times.

Many times, he ran to God.

'Jesus, save me. Heal me. Bless me. Rescue me.'

How many times have you run to God over an issue in your life and you give up?

Without hearing from God - but you give up?

Remember, Paul heard from God, 'My grace is sufficient for you.'

He still continued.

What of you that did not hear from God at all and you give up?

Compared to a man who heard from God,

'My grace is sufficient for you. Don't worry yourself.'

But you never from God and you give up.

And he never got offended that God did not remove the thorn.

With the word, 'My grace is sufficient for you' - he was okay with that

because he knew whether he was healed or not,

that would not change the position of God.

Whether you as a person enter the Kingdom of God or not,

that will not change the Kingdom of God.

God will remain the Healer and Deliverer, whether you are healed or not.

He knew that whether he is healed or not, Jesus is the Healer.

So, why do you bother yourself?

Let's talk again about the weakness the sister is talking about.

The Bible says no one is perfect.

Whatever weakness is yours, since that prayer line is not closed,

that weakness is a spiritual benefit to draw you closer to God,

to run to God the more, believe the more, have faith enough.

Because you have faith but not enough.

But weakness will make you have faith enough.

I love that message.

I especially loved in the first clip where Prophet T.B. Joshua said that

what God wants is a relationship builder.

Because that's what it's all about, people of God.

It's all about building our relationship with God.

Yes, we do have weaknesses.

Yes, in this journey of life, we make mistakes.

And yes, in this world we face trials, troubles and tests of faith.

But we must not allow anything to interfere with our relationship with God.

Satan may interfere with our finances, business, career or health.

We are not out of touch.

But don't let him interfere with your spiritual life.

Don't let him interrupt your prayer line with God.

What's our motto, as believers?

Nothing - absolutely nothing - shall separate us

from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.

I loved the example Prophet T.B. Joshua reminded us of in the case of Apostle Paul.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Because even at his level in the things of God,

in the things of the Spirit,

the Bible says he had a thorn in his flesh.

But that did not become a stumbling block in his spiritual life.

Rather, it became a means of even drawing him closer to God -

to pray the more, believe the more, love God the more.

Nothing interrupted his prayer line.

What an encouragement for you and me today.

Whatever your situation, people of God -

if that situation reminds you of God,

if that situation, weakness becomes a source of you depending on God,

increases your sense of dependence on God,

know that promotion is coming.

So, practically - the practical application of this Word in our day-to-day lives:

Stop praying against your enemies.

Start praying against your weakness.

Close the door to the devil in your life.

Keep your prayer line with God open.

And don't let anything in this world

become a stumbling block to your spiritual growth.

And at God's appointed, perfect time,

everything is beautiful.
