Cada año California es víctima de una media de 8000 incendios que dejan otra media de 300.000 hectáreas en cenizas. Pero no solo los bosques y sus animales se ven afectados. En las dos últimas semanas miles de casas fueron arrasadas en el extrarradio de Los Ángeles. La extrema sequedad y el viento hacen que el fuego se esparza tan rápido que cualquier esfuerzo humano para apagarlo sea insuficiente.
