Piggeldy & Frederick - Der Geburtstag

Piggeldy wanted to know: what is a birthday.

"Frederick!" Piggeldy asked his big brother.

"Frederick! What is a birthday?"

"Nothing easier than that!", replied Frederick.

"Follow me!"

Piggeldy followed Frederick.

They strolled as usual their way through the grass,

until Frederik said:

"A birthday is qusi so to speak, the day on which somone is born!"

"Aha!", said Piggeldy

"And when is someone born?"

"I don´t know!" said Frederick,

"it is already quite a long time ago!"

"But then the Little One will be sad!" said Piggeldy,

"if he does not know when he is come into the world!"

"Who are you talking about?" Frederick asked.

"Well of whom, of whom you have spocken about!" said Piggeldy.

"I have spoken of no-one!" said Frederick.

"Always these excuses," complained Piggeldy.

"First you talk about the day on which the Little One has birthday,

and right after you've forgotten it again."

"There is no little One" said Frederick,

"People just say so!"

"For example: Someone is annoying !"

"Who probably sucks more here?" said Piggeldy.

"Any One, or You?!"

"If some One nerves, ..." Frederik said,

"it can not be two!"

Piggeldy considered for a while.

"Actually, ..." he said,

"Actually, I really just wanted to know what a birthday is, ...

but you tell me how someone nerves! "

"A birthday,..." sagte Frederick,

"...is, so to speak, the day that somone uh uh uh...yes: you were born!"

"And when?" asked Piggeldy.

"When was I born?"

"I, I don´t know" Frederick said,

"it's been at least more than 5 years ago!"

"You dear Pig-in-Heaven!" said Piggeldy.

"Than I'm already ancient!"

"And we have never celebrated a birthday!"

"Then, uh, ..." said Frederick,

"then we celebrate until now: that someone has birthday today!"

"Oh hmm and meI?" Piggeldy asked sadly.

"Yes, Someone is No-one special!" said Frederick,

"You alone have birthday today!"

Piggeldy went with Frederick home.
