One musician, lots of instruments | Manu Sija | TEDxRíodelaPlata

  • 0:17 - 0:23
    Sun of the light
  • 0:23 - 0:30
    remains of God.
  • 0:31 - 0:42
The truth and the sun nest together.
  • 0:44 - 0:55
And this is the root man grows from.
  • 0:57 - 1:09
It will only stop the pain
with a great father of God.
  • 1:19 - 1:31
    In my voice
    there's free people waiting.
  • 1:33 - 1:43
Over the wounds of the Earth
  • 1:46 - 1:57
    and in my heart
    of justice and sorrow
  • 1:58 - 2:07
    like a dream,
to found the light of a new sun.
  • 3:48 - 4:00
And in my heart of justice and sorrow,
  • 4:01 - 4:10
    like a dream,
to found the light of a new sun.
  • 4:18 - 4:20
    (Applause)
  • 4:20 - 4:22
    Thank you.
  • 4:23 - 4:27
    If the president works,
    look how people are doing.
  • 4:27 - 4:30
    If the workers work,
    but have no money.
  • 4:30 - 4:35
    If the farmer works
    and poverty is their fate.
  • 4:35 - 4:40
    If my dad works
    and cannot make ends meet...
  • 5:30 - 5:33
Ae, ae, I don't work again!
  • 5:33 - 5:37
    Why kill yourself so much
if in the end there is nothing left?
  • 5:37 - 5:42
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back ...
  • 5:44 - 5:47
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 5:51 - 5:55
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back ...
  • 5:57 - 6:01
    If the military works,
    they only serve to kill.
  • 6:01 - 6:04
    If the jailer works,
but he himself is a prisoner.
  • 6:04 - 6:07
    If the immigrant works,
    and a trafficker earns more
  • 6:07 - 6:12
    If the congressman works,
    no town can afford it
  • 6:18 - 6:21
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 6:21 - 6:25
    Why would I overwork
if there is nothing left in the end?
  • 6:25 - 6:31
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back
  • 6:56 - 6:59
Ae, ae, I don't work again
  • 6:59 - 7:02
    Why would I overwork
if there is nothing left in the end?
  • 7:02 - 7:06
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back ...
  • 8:52 - 8:55
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 8:55 - 8:59
    Why would I overwork
if there is nothing left in the end?
  • 8:59 - 9:04
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back ...
  • 10:21 - 10:24
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 10:24 - 10:26
    (Palms)
  • 10:26 - 10:28
    Let's sing!
  • 10:28 - 10:31
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 10:34 - 10:38
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 10:41 - 10:46
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back ...
  • 10:48 - 10:52
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 10:55 - 11:01
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back...
  • 11:02 - 11:05
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 11:09 - 11:12
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back ...
  • 11:15 - 11:20
Ae, ae, I don't work again.
  • 11:22 - 11:28
Ae, ae, ae, I'm not coming back ...
  • 11:29 - 11:31
    (Applause)
  • 11:32 - 11:33
    Thank you.
  • 11:37 - 11:39
    Taquita, tacatimi.
  • 11:39 - 11:41
    Taquita, taca-ta.
  • 11:41 - 11:44
    Taquita, tacatimi.
  • 11:44 - 11:46
    Taquita, taca-ta.
  • 12:18 - 12:25
Who told you that I died
when even lost I still walked.
  • 12:27 - 12:35
Sad I come, let's be happy.
  • 13:18 - 13:24
Who might be the one in pain
    that remembered me?
  • 13:27 - 13:36
Sad I come, let's be happy.
  • 13:52 - 14:00
    I'm getting old
    because of tyrant time
  • 14:00 - 14:10
I don't want to become young
    how summer becomes
  • 14:13 - 14:15
    (Off) What are we Argentines?
  • 14:16 - 14:21
    (Voiceover)
  • 14:51 - 15:03
One thing has been given to me
    and another one is getting
  • 15:04 - 15:15
    Leave the woman I have
    for another that I want.
  • 15:17 - 15:21
    I'm sad, let's be happy.
  • 17:06 - 17:11
    Let's be happy.
  • 17:15 - 17:18
    Let's be happy.
  • 17:37 - 17:42
    (Applause)
  • 17:42 - 17:43
    Thank you.
