Thank You, Harry- A Harry Potter Tribute

We all spend our lives telling 'em.

'Bout this, 'bout that. About people.

But some, some stories are so good,
we wish they'd never end.

They're so gripping that we'll go without
sleep just to see a little bit more.

Some stories bring us laughter,
and sometimes they bring us tears,

but isn't that what a great story does?

Makes you feel.

Stories that are so powerful ...
[Harry: Expecto Patronum!]

... they really are with us forever.

Take one.

we're trying some glasses on.

Can you hold your head up a little bit?

We've worked together for so long,

Each person's last day
was quite emotional.

This has been my life.

And so it's going to be very, very odd,
I think for all of us,

because I don't know what my day-to-day
life consists of without you. All of you.

And it's wonderful. And I just want to say
that I've loved every minute,

and I thank you all very, very much.

[Watson] But Dan, you didn't get lucky,
you were and are the perfect Harry,

and will be forever.
[crowd screams and cheers]

[Rowling] The stories we love
best do live in us forever,

so whether you come back by page
or by the big screen,

Hogwarts will always be there
to welcome you home.
