For the month of November, I made it a goal for myself to

Start washing my face twice a day again

But... I am so lazy

No; I took it out, so I will put it to good use

I think I just dislike the splashing my face with water part

And I have let my dislike for it outweigh my desire for clear skin...

I only have a few weeks left of classes, so I have been focusing all my attention toward my final projects

Basically my mind went: school > self-care

"I can take care of my skin once I am done stressing about school"

No, today I am going to outsmart my own brain and do both

Got to keep my eye on the prize though

The prize being Winter Break

More specifically, laying around doing nothing for a few weeks

I am happy to report that I have finally pulled myself out of my burnout slump!

With the end of the semester in sight, I suddenly have all the motivation to finish strong

Motivation is fleeting, so I will harness all of its energy while I can

I had to run a few errands today and I ended up at a craft store

It was my own two feet that brought me to the knitting section though

I wanted to pick up material for a project to work on when I finish school

It is getting colder so I want to make a blanket

This is supposed to be an activity for when I finish my assignments

Actually, I think I will start it now

Professor, I haven't turned in my assignments yet, but I can make a knot!

I couldn't help myself from starting already

I did say that this is going to be a healing vlog

And what is more healing than weaving a cozy blanket and listening to Ariana Grande's "Christmas & Chill (playlist)" in November?

But now I am ready to get back to studying

I made shortbread cookies recently and had leftover dough

I saved it in the fridge and now it is as solid as a rock...

I found these cute cookie cutters in a drawer and I have to use them!

I am sorry dough, but I cannot let you guys be together today

Cutting out stars, hearts and leaf shapes

Most of them are leaves for Autumn

Realizing I cannot fit both sheets in at once

In terms of my workout routine, I usually stick to pilates and doing fun cardio dances

But recently I have been doing research on how to gain muscle mass

And I want to try out weightlifting

I have tried weightlifting in the past, but I did not stick to it

I don't know why. This time I will give it another shot!

Right now I am very, very weak

So I am trying resistance bands first to build up my strength

Then I can move on to actual weights

It is so cold I am wearing two layers of socks

First I have to make the dashi

This is the soup stock that the noodles will go in

I couldn't find any Japanese fishcakes at the market, so I will use Korean ones

There is a lot of preparation work for this recipe, so I was trying to get it done while the dashi cooked

I really forgot to boil the water first lmao

I exposed my own inexperience whoops

Cook some chicken in it too
