I love Halloween Halloween when I was a
-
kid in England Halloween had not yet
-
taken on the the glorious American
-
trappings which it has now um we were
-
just nervous you were told that
-
Halloween was the night when the witches
-
came out and the ghost came out and when
-
you probably shouldn't be out of your
-
house and so on the evening of October
-
thirty-first we were just a bit scared
-
which seems like these days looking back
-
on it a waste of not just a perfectly
-
good holiday but the best possible
-
holliday and while I'm actually not the
-
biggest fan in the world of American
-
culture spreading I like to think that
-
the fact that right now I'm in London
-
and I'm walking the streets of London
-
and there are shops filled with giant
-
killer rabbits and murderers and bloody
-
hands and spiders and how much cooler
-
than that can you get really wonderful
-
so this is my holiday this is my
-
festival this is the one time of year
-
when I feel completely at home it's
-
creepy
-
