I know this is a serious question for lots of students.

I just want to let you know that the Ontario government

put in place a policy regarding the $500 fee

and so we're bound as every other college is in Ontario, to collect that fee from students.

I want to tell you though, that I don't want "not being able to pay tuition" or pay a deposit

To be a reason why students can't come to Algonquin College.

So we're working with the government to make sure that we give feedback on this new policy.

and we're also working here in the registrar's office to make sure that if a student needs help,

that they can get it.

So I would advise you to contact the registrar's office and talk to them

about some help with that deposit.
