August 9 - Dr. Moskala’s Lifelong Calling
-
0:04 - 0:09Every year, one man boards a plane
with a suitcase full of supplies -
0:09 - 0:11and a heart full of purpose.
-
0:12 - 0:13His destination?
-
0:13 - 0:16A city that changed his life
-
0:16 - 0:18and where his mission still lives on.
-
0:19 - 0:22Dr. Milan Moskala
first came to Bangladesh -
0:22 - 0:25as a missionary dentist
more than 25 years ago. -
0:26 - 0:31But God had planted a seed in his heart
long before he ever stepped foot here. -
0:31 - 0:35I discovered God called me
to be medical missionary. -
0:36 - 0:38I am thankful very much.
-
0:38 - 0:41Always I thank the Lord,
I am so grateful -
0:41 - 0:44that you chose me
to be a medical missionary. -
0:44 - 0:45Over the years,
-
0:45 - 0:47Dr. Moskala built a ministry
-
0:47 - 0:51that reached far beyond
the walls of his dental clinic. -
0:51 - 0:53He treated patients
with compassion, -
0:53 - 0:56started schools
in under served communities, -
0:57 - 1:01and launched nutrition programs
to help children grow strong and healthy. -
1:02 - 1:04He also organized a sponsorship network
-
1:04 - 1:06that gave thousands of young people
-
1:06 - 1:11access to Adventist education
and a new vision for their future. -
1:11 - 1:16What started with caring for physical
needs quickly grew into something more, -
1:17 - 1:20a life of service, compassion, and faith.
-
1:21 - 1:23Though now retired for 10 years,
-
1:23 - 1:27Dr. Moskala returns to Bangladesh
every year to reconnect, -
1:28 - 1:32to support, and to keep building on
the mission he started years ago. -
1:32 - 1:35He continues to mentor local leaders,
-
1:35 - 1:39visit students, and walk through
the neighborhoods praying with families, -
1:40 - 1:41encouraging the sick,
-
1:41 - 1:44and sharing hope one home at a time.
-
1:45 - 1:49For him, retirement simply
means having more time to serve. -
1:50 - 1:55I am so thankful that until today,
I can serve Him -
1:55 - 1:57even though I am now retired.
-
1:57 - 2:01He is guiding me forward, day by day.
-
2:01 - 2:06I do not want to do nothing more,
nothing less than medical mission. -
2:07 - 2:09Because of your giving
to the Mission Offering, -
2:10 - 2:15missionaries like Dr. Moskala can serve
in places where they are needed most. -
2:16 - 2:17Thank you for giving.
-
2:18 - 2:21Your support makes stories like this
possible -
2:22 - 2:24in Bangladesh and around the world.
-
2:25 - 2:31I am so thankful that God chose me
and called me to be a missionary.
