Opera meets pop when Jonathan and Charlotte sing together. But can the duo convince Britain's Got Talent Judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon they've got what it takes to wow the nation?

I’m fine thanks, how are you?

Good. Nice to met you what’s the act’s called?

[Jaconelli] Charlotte & Jonathan

[Cowell] Charlotte & Jonathan?

Okay, how old are you both?

[Jaconelli] I’m 16

[Antoine] I’m 17

[Cowell] OK. And and – you thought the combination would work, whose idea was it?

[Jaconelli] It was our singing teacher's, actually. She thought it would be good to try us out together.

And we both sounded quite good when we sang what we did.

[Cowell] Ok. Your not saying much Jonathan? Are you shy?

[Antoine] Ahhh – sometimes.

I’ve always had problems with my size, since, like, I can remember.

And when I was in, sort of, primary school, it was back then that I really had sort of had the meat taken out of me

and it kind of damaged my confidence quite a bit. When – when people would say something to me I’d just –

it would take a little piece out of me in a sense.

[Jaconelli] I’m quite protective of Jonathan like if someone

– if I was there and someone stood there and said something to him –

I wouldn’t sit – I couldn’t sit there with my mouth shut

– before you make a judgment on someone you really need to get to know them,

it’s not – it’s cliché it’s not judging a book by it’s cover – you’ve – you’be got to read what’s inside.

[Antoine] Charlotte’s been a really big help for me in terms of confidence and making me a better performer

and I really don’t think I’d be going up on stage today if I didn’t have Charlotte by my side.

[Cowell] And do you think you could win?

[Jaconelli] Ya, together, yes.

[Cowell] Alright, good luck.

[Jaconelli] Thank you

[Antoine] Thank you

– you sing beautifully together it was world class.

[David Walliams] A pop voice and an opera voice together, it was incredible!

[Cowell] Ok this is what I think – Charlotte, I think your good but Jonathan, you are unbelievable.

[Audience cheers]

[Cowell] And seriously, you have an outstandingly good voice.

[Antoine] Thank you very much.

[Cowell] How old are you?

[Antoine] 17

[Cowell] I like the fact that this works as a duo but I worry Charlotte whether you are gonna hold him back.

[Antoine] Well, we’ve come on here as a duo – and we’re gonna stay here as a duo.

[Audience cheers]

[Cowell] Ok, David we'd better vote “Yes” or “No”?

[Walliams] Aww, such an easy decision. “Yes”.

[Antoine] Thank you

[Audience cheers]

[Amanda Holden] Definitely, a “Yes” from me.

[Audience cheers]

[Dixon] Charlotte I think you voice compliments Jonathan’s really well, so don’t be disheartened. It’s a “Yes” from me.

[Audience cheers]

[Cowell] You know my head here would say to you Jonathan dump her!

[Audience protests]

And then my heart would say there was something kind of magical moments together as well.

So, I’m gonna say “Yes” to the two of you, you got four “yes’s”

[Antoine] Thank you

[Cowell] He's something like a Pavarotti that boy, I haven’t heard a voice like that in years.

[Walliams] To be that young and that good.

[Tech ?] Simon is a massive fan of you, isn’t he?

[Antoine] Seems like he is.
