As a young girl, Zenia Tata was inspired by her grandmother who contributed to the upliftment of the poor in slum areas near her home. Today, she has taken this inspiration to another level. She has opened diverse funding opportunities to several organizations and communities from across the globe, giving their business a much needed boost at XPRIZE, whose mission is to bring about "radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity" through incentivized competition. Zenia is passionate about her work with economically disadvantaged populations.
But what sets her apart is her belief in the innate entrepreneurial qualities of the common man – everyone from your average Joe to the underprivileged.
