The cone of vision is essentially a raycasting system that constantly checks for collision points. Key details:
If the raycast hits an obstacle (like a wall), the guard won’t see you.
If the ray reaches the player without obstruction, it triggers a state machine that moves the guard from idle/patrol to alert mode.
In alert mode, the guard’s patrol routes change, and their cone of vision expands, making hiding even harder.
