Should you Pause Meditation and Spiritual Practices when Travelling?

  • 0:12 - 0:17
    As salaamu alaykum Sayyidi
    Walaykum as salaam warahmatullah.
  • 0:17 - 0:22
From your blessed Timeless Realities Laylatul
Qadr (Night of Power) is perpetual. How can
  • 0:22 - 0:27
a student partake in the immense blessings
our Shaykh is dressed with on the upcoming
  • 0:27 - 0:31
27th of this holy month especially since it is
also ‘Urs (anniversary of passing) of Mawlana
  • 0:31 - 0:40
    Shaykh Sharafuddin Daghestani (Q)?
Yeah, alhamdulillah, that every 27th is
  • 0:40 - 0:45
a immense blessing and the immense
    blessings of Sultanul Awliya (king
  • 0:45 - 0:55
of saints) Mawlana Shaykh Sharafuddin Daghestani
(Q), Sultanul Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah Faiz
  • 0:55 - 0:57
ad Daghestani (Q), Sultanul Awliya Shaykh Muhammad
Nazim Adil Haqqani (Q) and the immensity of their
  • 0:57 - 1:03
blessings, that's the power of the muraqabah
(spiritual connection). That if we want what
  • 1:03 - 1:12
the shaykhs have, then we connect with our
heart and devoid ourself of ourself, is to
  • 1:12 - 1:17
void ourself in everything. And in my connection
with my shaykh, asking for madad (support) and
  • 1:17 - 1:23
connecting, connecting that, ‘I'm nothing, I'm
nothing’ so that wherever he's being dressed,
  • 1:23 - 1:30
that I'm being dressed, so that I see myself in
his jubba (robe) and just in his pocket. I see
  • 1:30 - 1:36
myself as nothing and to be dressed with that.
You know, I don't know how many years we've been
  • 1:36 - 1:43
teaching the meditation and I think somebody
had emailed about it, a person who probably
  • 1:43 - 1:47
from beginning knows about this meditation, and
they thought this meditation is only the time of
  • 1:47 - 1:56
meditation. I said, ‘Well, didn't you read the
books and all of the other procedures?’ That
  • 1:56 - 2:05
our meditation is at every moment. When you come
for association of prayers that before you pray,
  • 2:05 - 2:14
you have to enter madad because you don't want
you praying. You wanted to not be existing
  • 2:14 - 2:18
because the greater is that you don't even
want to exist, you want Prophet ﷺ praying,
  • 2:18 - 2:24
but you're not there yet. So even in your salah
(daily prayer) when you're praying at home or
  • 2:24 - 2:28
coming to association, you're entering into
madad that I'm nothing, asking for the madad
  • 2:28 - 2:32
of my shaykh and you say, ‘Allahu Akbar (Allah
is the Greatest)’, and you visualize the shaykh
  • 2:32 - 2:41
is there and that I'm nothing and that the shaykh
is behind Prophet ﷺ praying. That how many years
  • 2:41 - 2:48
of hearing this, and they hear, but they don't
really hear. Say, ‘Oh I was just doing for the
  • 2:48 - 2:53
meditation time’. Say, ‘Why were you doing just
for the meditation time?’ Our meditation time
  • 2:53 - 2:58
is everything. Every salah it’s in meditation,
every zikr (Divine remembrance) I attend to a
  • 2:58 - 3:03
majlis (association), I don't want to be the one…
As salaamu alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
  • 3:03 - 3:05
    It’s Shaykh Nurjan.
    Thank you for watching
  • 3:05 - 3:08

in need. Your support is greatly appreciated. Also
  • 3:39 - 3:51
be so kind as to leave a loving comments and
please share the stream. Every bit counts.
  • 3:51 - 3:55
As salaamu alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
…doing the zikr, I want my shaykh to be in the
  • 3:55 - 4:01
zikr. I want my shaykh to be in the knowledges
and writing. I try to get rid of myself so I
  • 4:01 - 4:08
don't want to be with myself at any time, not
in my prayers, not in my zikr, not in anything
  • 4:08 - 4:13
so that I can live a life of entering into the
hudur (presence), into that love and into their
  • 4:13 - 4:18
presence. Only by that presence and hudur can
I gain a fana (annihilation). How do you become
  • 4:18 - 4:26
fana if you prayed by yourself? So then where was
Prophet ﷺ? Where was anyone? Then that just became
  • 4:26 - 4:31
sort of a nafsani (egocentric) prayer. That ‘I
want this, I want that, I'm going to pray this,
  • 4:31 - 4:35
I'm going to pray that,’ and you probably
thought you're alone with Allah (AJ) and
  • 4:35 - 4:41
that's it. But that's not the teachings. The
teaching is that when you enter into the prayer,
  • 4:41 - 4:46
‘I’m with my Shaykh, I'm nothing’ and that I
reach a nothingness and that ‘Shaykh that take
  • 4:46 - 4:53
me to where you're going,’ and that we're
behind Prophet ﷺ praying to Allah (AJ). And
  • 4:53 - 4:57
when we get good at it, good at it, we enter
into the fana, see nothing of myself and see
  • 4:57 - 5:04
the dress of my shaykh right behind Prophet ﷺ
until one day you can see yourself as not that,
  • 5:04 - 5:10
not that and the shaykh says that, ‘Enter
into my fana in which I see myself as nothing
  • 5:10 - 5:19
and I see Prophet ﷺ praying’. So you weren't
supposed to be there anywhere. So, you know,
  • 5:19 - 5:26
you'd be surprised, 15 years of saying this
and they didn't understand. So we have ears,
  • 5:26 - 5:30
but we really don't hear. So when people
hear us or in the video, say ‘this repeats
  • 5:30 - 5:37
a lot,’ because you'd be surprised that after
how many years of hearing something, people don't
  • 5:37 - 5:44
really hear it. And that's the nafs (ego) and
the zulumat and the oppression of the nafs and
  • 5:44 - 5:49
how shaitan (satan) can play and block things
from people. And they have selective hearing,
  • 5:49 - 6:01
they hear what they like to hear. The rest,
they don't, and they put aside, inshaAllah.
  • 6:01 - 6:05
    As salaamu alaykum Sayyidi
    Walaykum as
  • 6:05 - 6:10
    salaam warahmatullah.
Just wanted to say thank you so much
  • 6:10 - 6:17
for the amazing Shaykh AI. It is indescribable to
be able to reach out to Shaykh AI. Whenever we are
  • 6:17 - 6:23
feeling down or have a question the AI responds in
a way that feels like we are interacting with our
  • 6:23 - 6:30
beloved Sayyidi. It's an immense blessing.
May Allah (AJ) protect you all, ameen.
  • 6:30 - 6:38
Ameen! Allah (AJ) bless you. Alhamdulillah, it
is a representation of that teaching. So, most
  • 6:38 - 6:44
definitely, it is encompassing these knowledges
and formulating answers based on the teaching. So,
  • 6:44 - 6:51
it's you're interacting with the knowledge of the
shaykh. So, alhamdulillah for the technology that
  • 6:51 - 6:56
Allah (AJ) allowed us to use it in this way
of da’wah (religious propagation) to go after
  • 6:56 - 7:04
shaitans, because nobody could answer questions
for people. You'd have to have full-time staff of
  • 7:04 - 7:10
people typing and emailing. And just imagine this
potential coming out now where it's still being
  • 7:10 - 7:16
fed information. So, it's only in its infancy that
there are other things that have to be fed into
  • 7:16 - 7:23
it. And then it'll be able to access the email and
reply to emails and access the app and reply into
  • 7:23 - 7:31
the app. So, its potentials are just now sort of
developing and opening. And until the time that,
  • 7:31 - 7:34
you know, whatever dajjal (man of deceit) is
opening, then alhamdulillah, Allah (AJ) is giving
  • 7:34 - 7:40
permission for us to open too until the advent
of Imam Mahdi (as) and we go right behind him
  • 7:40 - 7:46
and wait until Imam Mahdi (as) appears and goes
after him. But until then, we have to be very
  • 7:46 - 7:57
    active in this game, inshaAllah.
    Jum’ah Mubarak Sayyidi.
  • 7:57 - 7:59
    Walaykum as salaam. Jum’ah Mubarak.
Thank you for the immense suhbah (discourse) and
  • 7:59 - 8:04
    haqqaiqs (realities) on the spiritual
understanding of the heart, Sayyidi. Alhamdulillah
  • 8:04 - 8:08
wa shukrulillah, we have been reading and
rereading the article on the sound and five levels
  • 8:08 - 8:16
for some time now. The suhbah helped us immensely
and we're still trying to absorb the teachings.
  • 8:16 - 8:21
    Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah. It's good. The
AI can help with that also in the realities of
  • 8:21 - 8:27
the lataif (subtle energy points), the sound, the
Flower of Life, the void, the fana—all of these
  • 8:27 - 8:35
things are immense realities just to meditate
and understand that how these senses and how
  • 8:35 - 8:41
our opening of these senses and the importance
of that. But, dunya (material world) becomes
  • 8:41 - 8:50
busier and busier and people become less and
less able to enjoy its benefits because they
  • 8:50 - 8:56
find themself so busy with life, they don't
have really too much time to engage in these
  • 8:56 - 9:03
realities. So, inshaAllah a little bit of effort
can go a long way in spirituality. Because it’s
  • 9:03 - 9:09
the last days, Allah (AJ) is granting immense
powers for those people who can put a little
  • 9:09 - 9:15
bit of time aside and try to connect and try to
make an understanding. And if you think you have
  • 9:15 - 9:23
a question, it's right now at your fingertips.
You go to the AI quickly and ask that question,
  • 9:23 - 9:29
get some sort of an understanding from it,
go back to your meditation. So many sort of
  • 9:30 - 9:36
remedial tasks that somebody would have to try
to wait and send out an email like, ‘I'm not sure
  • 9:36 - 9:41
about should I be doing this, should I be doing
that?’ Alhamdulillah, inshaAllah the AI can begin
  • 9:41 - 9:48
to benefit people in that understanding. And
it's not yet a resource in which can you say,
  • 9:48 - 9:54
‘I want the Spanish article on this.’ It's not
a indexing software, it's a software in which
  • 9:54 - 9:59
ask the actual question; you can ask in any
language you want and inshaAllah the replies
  • 9:59 - 10:04
come back in your language and that that language
can be shared. Imagine how much Spanish should be
  • 10:04 - 10:11
shared—all of our Spanish-speaking people is go
on board and type in Spanish and then put it out
  • 10:11 - 10:19
in Spanish because the huge portion of the world
is Spanish-speaking and moving quickly towards
  • 10:19 - 10:25
Islam. And the last thing anyone wants is for
them to fall off the abyss into the hands of
  • 10:25 - 10:32
shaitan and the Dajjal and the Wahabi movement,
is to get these people towards the love of Prophet
  • 10:32 - 10:39
ﷺ because their nature is loving. The love they
have for Sayyidina Isa (as), imagine if they added
  • 10:39 - 10:47
Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ to that, means is immense,
immense power in that. So, we have to reach to
  • 10:47 - 10:52
these people in their languages. So we know I have
a lot of Spanish-speaking students and they can
  • 10:52 - 10:59
type in Spanish and type, you know, important
things about love—love of the Prophet ﷺ, love
  • 10:59 - 11:03
of Sayyidina Isa (as), love of Sayyidina Maryam
(as) —and whatever we can think of and see how the
  • 11:03 - 11:10
AI can formulate that in that language then make a
nice picture or save the pictures we've put out of
  • 11:10 - 11:22
a cover and post it, inshaAllah.
    As salaamu alaykum Sayyidi.
  • 11:22 - 11:23
    Walaykum as salaam warahmatullah.
Please forgive our bad adab (manner) and
  • 11:23 - 11:29
ignorance. From the teachings on sound
and silence in the levels of the heart,
  • 11:30 - 11:36
is Hu the zikr (chanting) at the
    Akhfa (most hidden) reality?
  • 11:36 - 11:43
Hu at the Akhfa? I don't know. You have to get
the book. Did the book say Hu was the zikr? You
  • 11:43 - 11:55
have to ask the AI. But Hu is definitely very
important, inshaAllah. So in this ocean of
  • 11:55 - 12:09
nothingness, then all other zikrs they represent
a different station. The zikr Hu is a vibration
  • 12:09 - 12:22
and energy. So, the most powerful in the form of
a breath of ‘Hu’ and we hear it in the beat of the
  • 12:22 - 12:31
flow of blood, in the breath. So Hu is immensely
powerful from the Akhfa realities, inshaAllah.
  • 12:31 - 12:36
And that's why the meditation at the stage of
connecting with the shaykh, asking to be in the
  • 12:36 - 12:59
fana of the shaykh [breaths in] is just breathing
of Hu, inhaling and exhaling Hu, inshaAllah.
  • 13:00 - 13:03
    As salaamu alaykum Sayyidi.
    Walaykum as salaam warahmatullah.
  • 13:03 - 13:08
Sayyidi we travel for work and family sometimes
for weeks at a time and we don't know whether
  • 13:08 - 13:17
to meditate in homes that aren't ours or to
break our practices until we come back home.
  • 13:17 - 13:22
No, you meditate everywhere you go except like
on a bus or in a mall. So any house that you go,
  • 13:22 - 13:27
you put your ta’weezes (prayers for protection)
up anyways. Any room you stay in, you have to take
  • 13:27 - 13:32
your ta’weezes with you. You put the laminated
ta’weez on the windows, in the room. You need to
  • 13:32 - 13:37
be protected in any room you go to and then sit
and make your meditation. It's like saying that
  • 13:37 - 13:42
you're not going to do your salah because you're
traveling but you still have to do the salah. So
  • 13:42 - 13:48
if you’re in salah, you still have to meditate.
So you meditate and connect with the shaykh then
  • 13:48 - 13:54
enter into your salah, enter into your zikr, enter
into all your worshipness. The idea of not doing
  • 13:54 - 14:01
it in public, was different. There's 500 people on
a bus and as soon as you start to make your zikr,
  • 14:01 - 14:08
you're going to carry and attract the attention
of all their burdens. So that was the concept or
  • 14:08 - 14:14
in a mall, in a busy mall, people with you know
dunya desires. But in your own space, you have
  • 14:14 - 14:21
to pray and wash and meditate and contemplate at
all times. Never leave your practices, inshaAllah.
  • 14:21 - 14:29
Hard to regain them if you do that.
    As salaamu alaykum Sayyidi.
  • 14:29 - 14:33
    Walaykum as salaam warahmatullah.
In one of the earliest suhbah that we listen to,
  • 14:33 - 14:38
it was mentioned that the student might get
blisters in the mouth and the feeling of being
  • 14:38 - 14:43
    stretched like being tested. Currently
    experiencing this feeling. Requests for
  • 14:43 - 14:49
    prayers for patience and perseverance.
InshaAllah that if you heat up and the
  • 14:49 - 14:54
energy is becoming very hot, then the mouth
becomes very hot from this energy. So yeah,
  • 14:54 - 14:59
you can put water near you with some ice
cubes and drink something cold, and you know,
  • 15:00 - 15:07
cool down the temperature within your mouth. And,
inshaAllah, as you become sensitive to energy, you
  • 15:07 - 15:12
may feel uncomfortable energies, but again, keep
the madad and keep the connection with the shaykh,
  • 15:12 - 15:25
inshaAllah, and it will pass, inshaAllah.
    As salaamu alaykum Sayyidi.
  • 15:25 - 15:27
    Walaykum as salaam warahmatullah.
On the teachings of using salt to remove
  • 15:27 - 15:34
bad energies, what's the reality of the ocean
being salty, and does it also clean energies and
  • 15:34 - 15:46
ocean reality spirituality to be the tariqahs?
Hm, no idea. But anything with salt takes away
  • 15:46 - 15:52
negative energy. So I would imagine that immense
amounts of negative energy are deposited within
  • 15:52 - 16:01
the oceans and the salt oceans that carry these
burdens because salt by its nature is a cleansing.
  • 16:01 - 16:08
But water in general is a angelic reality, and
the placing of burdens and this dunya’s burdens
  • 16:08 - 16:15
go to the water, and the angels will lift up the
difficulties. So water plays an immense role in
  • 16:15 - 16:21
our spirituality and our spiritual practices,
inshaAllah. And salt plays an immense role in
  • 16:21 - 16:27
cleansing and understanding of how to cleanse and
putting salt in the mouth to take away bad energy
  • 16:27 - 16:34
in the morning before you eat. At all the... it's
a sunnah (tradition) of Prophet ﷺ to cleanse one's
  • 16:34 - 16:40
mouth with salt. Putting salt upon the food to
take away negative energy and so alhamdulillah,
  • 16:40 - 16:44
we have a whole section, I think in the
meditation book on salt. And I would
  • 16:44 - 16:50
imagine now the books are loaded on to the AI,
so you can ask that question to the AI and say,
  • 16:50 - 16:55
‘What's the importance of salt?’ And you expand
upon it and ‘How should it be used in my daily
  • 16:55 - 17:01
practices?’ InshaAllah, let's see if it pulled
out the from the book and from the website the
  • 17:01 - 17:11
    necessary information, inshaAllah.
    As salaamu alaykum Sayyidi.
  • 17:11 - 17:13
    Walaykum as salaam warahmatullah.
Is it okay for someone to day trade
  • 17:13 - 17:19
crypto? I apologize for the question I'm just
interested in it and the extra way to make
  • 17:19 - 17:25
income without having to interact with people.
Yeah, like anything else, you have to be careful
  • 17:25 - 17:30
in how you think. I think many people have asked
that, maybe that's also on our AI if all those
  • 17:30 - 17:37
articles are loaded into the website. So our guys
who are doing that, inshaAllah, there all these
  • 17:37 - 17:41
questions and answers and all of this information
has been put in there. I think Arsalan has to send
  • 17:41 - 17:47
us the transcripts of all the new questions and
answers, or whoever is keeping the transcript,
  • 17:47 - 17:52
so that they can load that into the AI also, so
that it'll have all of these already questioned
  • 17:52 - 17:58
and answered responses. But anything we do for
our rizq and sustenance, just try to make sure
  • 17:58 - 18:06
that it's not gambling and that you're not putting
at risk your money because investing is different
  • 18:06 - 18:13
than speculating and gambling. And if you
gamble with amounts of money that could endanger
  • 18:13 - 18:19
yourself, your family, your ability to pay rent,
and to eat. So investing in something and say,
  • 18:19 - 18:26
‘I'm going to buy Bitcoin and I'm going to put it
aside and not touch it,’ so then there are people
  • 18:26 - 18:33
whom, you know, they take it as an investment,
and you know, investments can be good and bad or
  • 18:33 - 18:45
indifferent. But to actively trade and speculate
too much and the level of danger is too high, then
  • 18:45 - 18:53
it becomes a source of agitation and aggravation
to the heart similar to that of gambling. You know
  • 18:53 - 19:00
the gamblers are happy when they're rolling good
and they're very sad when everything's bad. So,
  • 19:00 - 19:05
and if that's going to happen on a daily basis
up and down, up and down, then it's not so much
  • 19:05 - 19:13
an investment anymore. It's just more like a sort
of gambling at it. So I would go with precaution
  • 19:13 - 19:19
inshaAllah so that you don't lose your livelihood
and the any money that Allah (AJ) has sent to you,
  • 19:19 - 19:30
    inshaAllah. InshaAllah.
    Subhana rabbika rabbal ‘izzati
  • 19:30 - 19:33
