Lil Bub's Fans Show Off Artistic Skills

Hey guys, I'm Alex Farnham and welcome to

animalist news.

This is a daily show where I'm going to be

reporting on everything animals from

around the globe

whether it's cute, ferocious, funny,

freaky, and awesome. I'm going to be

covering it. One cat's been blowing up

everywhere! That's right I'm talking about

little Bab. She has a movie, a talk show,

and she just wrote a book. So, this past

this Saturday we stopped by the art

gallery in San Francisco to check out

little Bub's booking signing and

art show. We got a chance to talk to

little Bub and her dude Mike. To find out

what's the hubub about little Bub.

so, what are your thoughts on the actual

show and all these artists painted all

these different pictures of Bub?

It's pretty amazing to walk into a room

and see like over 60 paintings of

your cat. As far as I'm concerned, it's

just me and my cat. To see that she

inspires so many people is pretty

rewarding.

Hey guys so I'm here with Ken, you are

the owner of the spoke art gallery.

[Ken] This month we put on art show to

honor little Bub. We got over 60 artists

from around the world. Who have made

original paintings and limited edition

prints.

My name is Isabel Samaras. I'm a Bay area

artist. Tell me about your drawing

and this is ET. ET is one of my favorite

movies by the way.

The inspiration is little Bub who is the

embodiment of adorable and ET who is

the embodiment of adorable.

You think ET and little Bub might come

from the same planet?

I think I could totally see ET holding

little Bub in the crook of his arm and

holding a little glow finger on his little

paw, yea.

So did you expect this much of a turnout?

You know what we knew it was going to be

great and this is such a phenomenal

turnout. How many people are here?

We got 300 people for the meet and greet

and then later tonight we are expecting

about 500 more.

What is the book about?

It's about Bub's traveling through space

and how she crashed onto our planet

found me and then the adventures that

she and I have been on together.

I'm from Chicago and flew here yesterday.

You flew in to see little Bub? Yes.

That is awesome! Oh you have the book!

Hey guys, I am here with Mike and we are

huddling under his umbrella right now

because the sun is blazing hot but

it don't matter because your going to

see little Bub.

people are coming in and they are

getting their tickets scanned then they

get little Bub's book, a pin and then

they go and meet little Bub.

Take a picture and then they get a stamp

of little Bub's paw print.

Its custom made and it's awesome!

well this was a great experience,

a great turnout and hope to see more of

little Bub in the future.
