Before people can get the honor to see Imam Mahdi (as), they have to be capable to survive 90 days of atomic warfare. So ensure you're able to survive and be among the 1 out of 7 that will live. He will appear at the point where Humanity is going extinct.

Furthermore, they still need to be spiritually strong enough to endure the close proximity to his physicality. Most people are not spiritually capable to survive his aura, because of the powerful energy that surrounds him. So if anyone claims they see him in dreams, or on social media, ...etc, they're not understanding his spiritual state.
