Adson's Test

To perform Adson's Test locate the radial
pulse.

Have the patient take a deep breath and extend
neck, and rotate head towards the painful

shoulder.

If radial pulse diminishes on the affected
side, it is considered a positive test suspicious

for thoracic outlet syndrome.
