We got in our hands StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

The second installment of Blizzard's epic trilogy of Starcraft II.

The game is being released on the 12th of March for PC and Mac and this is the standard edition of the game.

Here we go, opening the box set.

Stunning artwork.

And inside, of course, you can find the actual game that will make you spend the next weeks in front of your monitor.

But this is the game's standard edition, so let's go and have a look at something a bit more... special!

StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm Collector's Edition.

So, this is the Collector's edition of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

It's a bit heavy, isn't it?

Well, you can see the packaging.

At the back you can find a sheet with the content, which we will remove right away.

And the package is at our mercy!

Let's go and have a look at the contents of the Collector's Edition and we start, of course,

with the game itself, which can be found inside the standard edition as well.

We carry on with the mouse pad from StarCraft II.

An eye - candy mouse pad indeed, very impressive!

Following, is my personally favorite item from the Collector's Edition of StarCraft II and I'm referring to the game's art book.

It has a hardcover, portraying Kerrigan of course and as far as the art book's content is concerned,
-
it's bursting with StarCraft II stuff!

It f**king rocks!

Carrying on, we find a Heart of the Swarm making-of DVD
-
which is ideal for anyone concerned on what happened during this title's production as well as a sneak peak behind the "cameras".

And last but not least, (as we say here as well) we have the game's OST,
-
which contains 11 tracks to entertain you even when you are not playing StarCraft.

I think we concluded with the content of the Collector's Edition.

The packaging is made with a solid cardboard, which means it can be left empty and kept intact as well,
-
but I think its placement should be on a bookshelf or your showcase; after all it’s a Collectors’ Edition!
