Description:

How to Clean Your Spectacles Thoroughly at Home

Keeping your spectacles clean is essential for both clarity and lens longevity. Most scratches on lenses are caused by small dust particles. To avoid damage, follow these simple steps:

1. Rinse Before You Clean:
Before you begin wiping your lenses, always rinse your spectacles under lukewarm water. This step helps remove dust particles that could scratch the lenses if wiped directly.
Remember if you have dust on your lenses and you are using an old cloth and your breath , then you are making a paste, and even steel can be polished with the right paste !

2. Use a Gentle Soap:
After thoroughly, rinsing your glasses under hot running water - THEN, Apply a small drop of mild, lotion-free soap to your lenses and gently rub them with your fingers.
Be sure to clean the nose pads and frame as well.

3. Rinse Again: Thoroughly, Rinse off all the soap with copious amounts of lukewarm water.

4. Dry with a CLEAN and , preferably a new Microfiber Cloth:
Use a microfibre or lens cleaning cloth to gently dry the lenses and frames. Never use HARD paper towels, or your shirt as they can cause scratches.

( We prefer a soft clean tissue - simply as should you use an old and dirty microfibre cloth, you will be doing more damage to your lenses than using a fresh, clean and soft tissue)

5. Avoid Household Cleaners:
Never use STRONG household cleaners or anything that contains alcohol or ammonia on your lenses, as these can damage lens coatings.

By following these steps, you’ll ensure your spectacles remain scratch-free and clear!
