여기에 8x라고
쓰겠습니다

그러면 -7 + 8x가 됩니다

따라서 첫 번째 문장은
-7 + 8x과 같습니다

다음으로 넘어가지요

-3에 x를 곱한 값에

1을 더하시오

-3 곱하기 x는
-3x라고 쓸 수 있고

거기에 1을 더하면
- 3x + 1이 됩니다

다음으로 넘어갑시다

- 6 더하기

-1과 x의 곱이군요

- 1과 x의 곱은
-1x와 같지요

- 1x를 -x로 쓰도록 합시다

따라서 - 6 + -x 가 됩니다

이 식을 다르게 써보면

-6 -x 와 같습니다
