My New (empty) 2 Bedroom Condo Tour!

Molly is clearly still learning her way around.

Hello! Welcome to my new empty apartment.

So this is as two bedroom condo

It's going to be a little bit ugly

Because there's nothing in it

Note the “Empty Apartment Tour”

Don’t worry, there’s gonna be full move in vlogs

and unpacking, decorating videos

and I’ll definitely do a finished

once it's decorated tour

I’ve done these three apartment tours in the past

Because apparently I move a lot!

So I thought I’d do an empty one this time

Because I had it empty here for a few days

It is all white

exactly what I wanted.

I love it so much.

So, this the front door

and when you walk in

It’s to, like, a very open concept space.

There is a light

just a normal light.

The floors throughout are this beautiful,

super, light washed wood.

Which I am obsessed with.

There’s tons of lights everywhere

big windows

It’s just very bright,

and that is exactly what I was looking for

Right inside the door here,

we have the laundry.

We love to see it!

We love a good in unit washer dryer moment.

What a luxury!

So, very happy to have that.

And then...

I’m still finding my way around.

I just got the keys last night.

In here we have a whole built-in closet

So I’m gonna keep

kinda my most needed jackets here

and most needed shoes.

But then also maybe some cleaning supplies

and probably keep lavender and Gallops food

In there bins down here

So it’s really easy to grab.

Where is the handle? There we go.

It’s going to be a learning process.

Then, it’s all just living room

in front of me here

It is so open and spacious

I’m obsessed.

One thing that I’m really excited about

Is over here... where is it?

In here?

We have shelving units.

And I’m very excited about this

Because I love trinkets and decor

I’m not gonna overload them or anything

Because that would get too busy.

But I am just very excited to

Put some of my favorite pieces in here

Like my blush pink and copper globe,

Some candles,

Just things like that to throw up here.

I think it will look really fun

And just add something special to this.

I’m thinking I’m gonna put...

my couch right here.

If we can fit it in...

We literally might not be able to

get the couch into the building.

So that should be interesting.

I might have to get a new couch

unfortunately

Fingers crossed I don’t

We’ll find out soon.

So, the couch, I'm thinking,

will go right here

Now...

They had it staged

not when I was here looking

but I'm renting from a private owner

like, an owner who owns this condo

and I'm renting from them

and I found the listing when it was being sold

and they had it staged in the photos

so I had like my mom to describe it to me

and they had it staged where the chairs

and couch were this way

but there's a really beautiful view

and, although I can't see it,

I want people to sit on the couch

and, like, see the beautiful view

and I don't have a TV,

so there's no need to, like, have a couch

facing the wall where the TV would be

so I think that's what I'm going to do

and then have a coffee table

and then, where the window is,

my two chairs

a nice table in the middle

And Ill have to have some floor lamps

because there's no ceiling light in this area

But there's this giant window

and all the blinds are remote controlled

which sounds cool and high tech and modern

however, one of them is broken

and we just got the keys yesterday

and so they're getting it fixed

but It's kind of annoying because now

the blind is, like, mostly down

in the one room

and we can't open it

because there's no, like, strings to pull

so that's kind of weird

So, this is the den space

This is an old building

its a very old building

and so this is like a renovated unit

in a very old condo building

and so, originally, this did have doors

which, to be honest, I would kind of prefer

I know a lot of people love the open concept

but this is intended to be an office space

and when you're at home

on work calls

you kind of want some privacy

and the rest of the house doesn't want to

hear what you're talking about all day

so I feel like that was, honestly,

a bad decision to take the doors out

I would've just put clear glass dooes

or a sliding barn door or something

to still give it that open feel

without removing the personal privacy

of whoever's office space this is

but it wasnt my renovation

so there is tons of windows in here

but the blind is stuck halfway down

at this point

apparently, there are beautiful views

but I cant show you that

because I don't want to show you and have

creepy people figure out where I live

but there is like overhead lighting

in here. I don't know what exactly

what I am going to do with this space

I think I am going to put like

Lavenders cat condo in here

maybe one of my swing chairs

from my balcony because unfortunately,

because I dont have a balcony here

and the light fixture for this is over

here and it does have a dimmer which

is nice. So you have some mood

lighting. There isn't dimmer swithces

throughout this place, but there is in

some spots and thats one

and there here is where my beautiful

giant marble table will go.

I am so obsessed. My last apartment

that I was living in, could not fit

my giant, rectangular, marble table.

so i kept it in storage, but this is

the perfect spot for it and I think

it will look so good with all just the

whites and the greys, cause all of just

everything in here is white and then

a lot of my furniture is gray, white, and

pastel pink, so I think it is just

gonna look perfect. So Ill have my big

table here with my clear chairs.

I personally dont love this light

I feel like its very trendy right now to

have with these kind of wicker lights.

and I get it. It justs not personal -

it's a beautiful light - it's just not

personally my vibe. So I might switch

that out if the guy lets me, Ill

just store this and then just

buy my own overhead light and switch

it out, so potentially that will happen.

and then over here we come into the

kitchen. Obviously, this is like a bar

area, where you could out two

to three chairs. I dont have any bar

stools that will fit this. I might

pick some up. I might not.

I hacent really deicided

Im gonna have six chairs to sit at the

table. I dont know that this willl

be used that much. But who knows?

I might move in and be like,

"Im really missing have chairs at

my bar". So we'll have to see.

And we go left into the kitchen

its an all white kitchen. It is a very

small like galley kitchen, but I don't cook

so, I dont care that its a small kitchen.

One cool thing about this fridge though

is its smudge proof. So you like leave

fingerprints and they disappear. I dont

know if it will pick up on camera but

I feel like thats kind of nice, you never

have to clean it. Also, the dishwasher

okay, is like drawers. So theres two

drawers instead of like a kind of

traditional one that folds down. So I

thought that was unique. I guess its

good in a small tight space like this

to have that style. Yeah, so nothing

much to say. This is the kitchen.

And then in the hallway, we have tons

of storage. I think that this built-in

is kind of intended to be like your pantry

so for people who love cooking and

snacks, they would kind of store a lot

a lot of their food in here. I don't love

cooking or snacks. So ill probably

mostly put my shoes in here. I feel like

it could be good shoe storage, right Mom?

[Mother] Actually I was thinking

the same thing myself. So I think

perhaps shoes will be going there.

If there's some overflow, and then here

we have more storage. They really did

a really good job, at like building in

storage to the space. Oh there is not

another door. Here I am feeling around

to pull another door open.

They really did a great job at building

in storage and there is a light in there

too actually which is kind of nice.

I'm impressed with all the built-ins

I feel like thats - if you have an old

space that you are renovating whether

its with the intention to sell, to rent,

or to just continue living there

yourself, I feel like doing built-in

storage and built-in closets is

such a wise way to spend your money

cause it makes your life so much

better and so much easier. And I feel

like for resale value, its really big.

Across from that last cupboard in

the hallway, we have the one bathroom,

not one, theres two bathrooms,

but this is the first kind of guest

bathroom. So there is a bathtub.

Unfortuantely, my fellow bath lovers

will relate to me on this. A good bathtub

has a slanting back, so you can like

lean back when you are soaking in

the tub. Bad bathtubs have like a rigid

edge that you cant get comfortable in.

This has one of those. It's like just

straight up and down so you cant

really like comfortablly sit with your

back. So I'm gonna try to find like a

nice bath pillow or something that

might make it better. The floor is so

beautiful. I love this tile so much.

And its heated flooring. Correct.

I'll let that soak in. Im very excited

and then I love the sink. I love that

they did like an above counter sink

because I feel like it frees up a lot of

storage space underneath for piping

and stuff. Sunken in all the piping then

takes up a lot of room. So I feel like

it's not only aesthetically nice but its

just smart for saving storage. They left

Kleenex, which is funny. But I also like

that there's again somewhat of like

built in storage in here. So products can

go in here and they wont like be all

over the place in the drawers.

and there is another big drawer down

here. And then this mirror is cool cause

you can see it has like the lighting

but you can also wave your hand under

and that turns off. So if you didn't want

that lightening, boom, on and off.

So I think thats pretty cool.

(Record Scratching) Molly is clearly still

learning her way around. You just missed

me walk into the wall, and then into this

door, like literally I was like "Ow!"

and then I took two more steps and was

like "Ow!" so its gonna take a week or so

[Mother] Meanwhile, you found my phone.

Yes, my mom was looking for her phone,

and I was like, "Oh, I found her phone its

in here!" Because this is a built-in

closet and I was like feeling all of the

builts in and it was sitting right on here

and then she was like, "How did you find my phone?"

and then as I'm like triumpantlly bringing

her the phone, I like walk into two things in the

span of three steps. So it'll take me a good week

or so to get settled and learn the way around.

But its fine, we are doing well.

So this is another built-in. This is in

the second bedroom. Now the second

bedroom has no overhead light at all,

which is too bad, again, if I had bought

this condo or renovated it, I would personally

but overhead lighting in every room and all

of it would have dimmer switches.

Personal preference, but it doesnt.

So we have one of my filming studio lights

on, but this will just have to have lots

of lamps. And so yeah, this is the built-in

closet. So once my boyfriend is able to live

here with me, this is gonna be his office,

because, like everyone, he works from home

and this will be his home office. So he'll

have his desk and we'll probably keep

our workout equipment in here as well

and then this will be his closet for all his

clothes and shoes and what not. And it's honestly

quite spacious. Like they really did a good

build in here compared, if you think,

what it probably was before, with just a

bar across the top, but its so much more

convenient now how they've done it.

So really well done. And there's really

nothing to say about this room. Its just

a square room that's gonna have some

work equipment and some workout

equipment. Then we have the master

bedroom! which is directly across the hall

from the second bedroom, which is

again, an office. And both the bedrooms

have floor to ceiling, wall to wall

windows on one side, which is really

really nice and it does have those blinds

with the remote control. I think in the

window I'm gonna put that faux fur white

bench that I had in my last apartment

in the doorway like in the hallway at the

front entrance. I think I'll put that in the

window in the bedroom. And then at the

end of the bed, theres like almost a cutout

in the wall. And I think there Im gonna

put that photo of the woman's face that

used to be in the background a lot in my

videos and my vanity. And there here

against this wall will be beautiful storage

bed with bedsides tables and its honestly

so spacious. Again, no overhead light

thought, in the main part of the bedroom

so thats a little sad. But we'll just rely on

good lamps. And then we come this way.

This is where it gets interesting.

So the same light above that is in the

entrance way and then it's all built-ins

and what's interesting here is like its

open concept. So, as you see, there's no

sliding door. Theres nothing here. So all your

clothes and shoes are exposed which

defintely forces you to keep it organized

and clean, becasue anybody who walks

in here can see if its messy. You also

just really want to be careful with where

your putting things like bras or underwear.

Like, youre gonna have to get, I guess the

drawers. There are drawers here.

So I guess you wanna make sure you're

keeping all personal stuff in the drawers

hidden away, but yeah, I think that's

pretty interesting. I might film with this

as the background somtimes. For like

fashion videos I feel like it would be fun

to see some of my clothes like hung up

behind me and stuff. I dont know. I

feel like that would look cool. So this will

be my closet space, because, like most

partnerships, I do have mroe clothes than

my male counterparts. And then over here

is another built-in. This ones is a little more

private. These are all shoe racks, which

is really great. And then we have coat racks

and then some more little space here.

Pretty good.

And then we come into the master bathroom

and it is that same beautiful black and white

geometric tile with heated flooring.

I'm obsessed.

Same exact vanity with the same kind of

built-in drawer layout I think. Oh,

it's slightly different actually. Huh.

Oh, you can move these. Oh my God

That's so handy. I love discovering -

I love discovering new things, okay?

and then again, the same light situation

with that, toilet, and then here

is a standing glass shower.
