Top 5 Hopes / Predictions for Diamond & Pearl Remakes

  • 0:00 - 0:01
    What's up guys!
    It's TyranitarTube
  • 0:01 - 0:02
    and welcome to
  • 0:02 - 0:04
my top five hopes and predictions
  • 0:04 - 0:06
    for Diamond and Pearl remakes,
  • 0:06 - 0:09
which are just around the corner
    if all goes well.
  • 0:09 - 0:11
    There's a couple rumors
    going off about other games
  • 0:11 - 0:12
    that could be announced then,
  • 0:12 - 0:14
bit it's just got to be
    Diamond and Pearl remakes.
  • 0:14 - 0:15
    Game Freak if you're watching
    this right now,
  • 0:15 - 0:19
    this is a checklist that
if you knock off all five things
  • 0:19 - 0:21
on this list, you are making
    the perfect Pokemon game.
  • 0:21 - 0:23
    This is your cheat sheet
to make it a good game.
  • 0:23 - 0:25
    You do these fives things
and no one's going to complain
  • 0:25 - 0:27
    about this Diamond
    and Pearl remakes.
  • 0:27 - 0:29
Not only is no one going to complain,
    but these games
  • 0:29 - 0:33
    will factually be twice
as better than Sword and Shield.
  • 0:33 - 0:34
    So I've talked about some
    of these, but I want
  • 0:34 - 0:36
    to condense all five points
    into one video,
  • 0:36 - 0:38
so you guys are on board with me.
  • 0:38 - 0:38
    Number five.
  • 0:38 - 0:40
Of course, I'm going to give you
    the one I've talked about
  • 0:40 - 0:43
the most straight off the bat
so you don't have to save it
  • 0:43 - 0:43
    for number one.
  • 0:43 - 0:44
    Megas.
  • 0:44 - 0:47
    There's not a single universe
    where it is correct
  • 0:47 - 0:49
for Dynamax to be in Sinnoh.
  • 0:49 - 0:50
    You want talk
    about the possibilities,
  • 0:50 - 0:51
you want to say there's more
  • 0:51 - 0:54
    to Dynamax than
    what Eternatus did in Galar,
  • 0:54 - 0:55
    I don't care.
  • 0:55 - 0:56
    You're bringing...
  • 0:56 - 0:58
    You're making the old man
    visit Sinnoh.
  • 0:58 - 1:01
The old man took a road trip
    to the entire world.
  • 1:01 - 1:04
    Stopped by Hoenn,
    give something to Sootopolis man,
  • 1:04 - 1:05
he's going to go to Sinnoh
  • 1:05 - 1:07
and he's going to drop a Mega deuce
  • 1:07 - 1:10
    and the world's going
    to be Megafied.
  • 1:10 - 1:12
    Some people bring up
    "Garchomp already exists.
  • 1:12 - 1:13
    Cynthia, she gets Garchomp."
  • 1:13 - 1:14
    Hell no!
  • 1:14 - 1:16
    All right? We didn't
    introduce Garchomp
  • 1:16 - 1:19
in Gen 6 for Cynthia to get it.
  • 1:19 - 1:21
    Cynthia's getting new Megas.
  • 1:21 - 1:22
What does she have on her team?
  • 1:22 - 1:22
    Milotic.
  • 1:22 - 1:26
    Cynthia's got Spiritomb,
    Roserade, Gastrodon, Lucario,
  • 1:26 - 1:27
Milotic, and Garchomp on her team.
  • 1:27 - 1:30
    Garchomp may be her strongest,
    but her Mega
  • 1:30 - 1:32
    would have to be something
    introduced in that generation.
  • 1:32 - 1:34
So I don't know, what would they do?
  • 1:34 - 1:35
    Mega Spiritomb or something.
  • 1:35 - 1:37
Or they do some next thing
    and introduce
  • 1:37 - 1:39
    a new Mega Garchomp, but
  • 1:39 - 1:41
    let's just backtrack
    a few steps and realize
  • 1:41 - 1:43
    so far there ain't going
    to be no Megas
  • 1:43 - 1:46
    in the Sinnoh remakes,
    so that's the biggest thing.
  • 1:46 - 1:49
    Number five on this list,
    you cannot include Dynamax
  • 1:49 - 1:52
    in the Sinnoh lore.
You take it to Mega Evolution.
  • 1:52 - 1:54
    And on that note,
    I'll talk about Mega Evolution,
  • 1:54 - 1:57
    Primal Dialga and Primal Palkia.
  • 1:57 - 1:59
No G-Max Palkia, no G-Max Dialga.
  • 1:59 - 2:01
We are going to have Primal forms
  • 2:01 - 2:03
where Dialga shows off temporal power
  • 2:03 - 2:06
    and Palkia shows off infinite
    spatial power.
  • 2:06 - 2:09
    Primal forms that make Dialga
    and Palkia look like,
  • 2:09 - 2:11
    5% power remaining forms.
  • 2:11 - 2:13
    Just like Kyogre and Groudon
    do in comparison.
  • 2:13 - 2:15
I'll rants about this a bit.
  • 2:15 - 2:16
I've had my fun with Dynamax.
  • 2:16 - 2:18
I've done like 300 Pokemon battles
  • 2:18 - 2:20
    using Dynamax strategicially.
  • 2:20 - 2:21
You get the double the health.
  • 2:21 - 2:24
The thing they did with Dynamax
is that they branched it out
  • 2:24 - 2:25
    so anyone can Dynamax,
  • 2:25 - 2:28
    instead of the exclusive
    30 in X and Y.
  • 2:28 - 2:30
And then they added 30 in ORAS.
  • 2:30 - 2:31
    Anything can Dynamax.
  • 2:31 - 2:33
    The same concept
    that was in Z-crystals
  • 2:33 - 2:35
    where they wanted to give
    that potential to any Pokemon.
  • 2:35 - 2:37
    Dynamaxing is sick
    'cause you can just
  • 2:37 - 2:39
    change up the strategy
    at any moment
  • 2:39 - 2:40
    when you're facing your opponent.
  • 2:40 - 2:42
    You can bring it out
    whenever you want,
  • 2:42 - 2:43
    even in a stupid situation.
  • 2:43 - 2:45
    And almost always
when you bring out your Dynamax,
  • 2:45 - 2:46
you're going to force your opponent
  • 2:46 - 2:48
    to bring out their Dynamax.
  • 2:48 - 2:50
    So you always have
    this Megatron battle
  • 2:50 - 2:52
and all the other little things,
    like you not being
  • 2:52 - 2:53
able to flinch when you're Dynamaxed
  • 2:53 - 2:55
    and never being able
    to miss a move.
  • 2:55 - 2:58
It's all fun. It really is,
but that's only in the metagame.
  • 2:58 - 3:00
    In-game, you can't use
    your Dynamax for the story.
  • 3:00 - 3:02
You use it once for each Gym battle,
  • 3:02 - 3:04
maybe you'll use it against Cynthia
  • 3:04 - 3:06
and you use it against Cyrus.
  • 3:06 - 3:07
    And that's about it.
  • 3:07 - 3:09
    It's a form change
you can only get when the story
  • 3:09 - 3:09
    allows you to.
  • 3:09 - 3:11
    And talking metagame,
  • 3:11 - 3:13
Mega Evolutions is way more fun
    than Dynamax.
  • 3:13 - 3:15
When I switch over and play
    with Megas again,
  • 3:15 - 3:18
it's so fun to Mega Evolve,
    get your ability changed
  • 3:18 - 3:19
    and all that.
  • 3:19 - 3:21
And besides, in terms of Dynamaxing,
  • 3:21 - 3:24
    it ends up recreating
    the Mega Evolution feel anyway,
  • 3:24 - 3:26
    because everyone leans
    towards the same Dynamax
  • 3:26 - 3:27
if they're making their own team.
  • 3:27 - 3:29
    Lapras, Grimmsnarl.
  • 3:29 - 3:30
Lapras sets up an Aurora Veil.
  • 3:30 - 3:33
    Grimmsnarl puts the opponent
    to sleep almost.
  • 3:33 - 3:34
    All the fun stuff like
    using Earthquake
  • 3:34 - 3:36
    on your opponent's Charizard,
    because you know
  • 3:36 - 3:38
    he's going to Mega Evolve
    into Mega X.
  • 3:38 - 3:39
    Switching out into a Ghost-type,
  • 3:39 - 3:41
    because you know Kangaskhan's
    going to Mega Evolve
  • 3:41 - 3:43
    and get that overpowered ability.
  • 3:43 - 3:44
But I don't want to talk about
    the metagame,
  • 3:44 - 3:45
    because that's
  • 3:45 - 3:48
    not the main enjoyment
    of the main game.
  • 3:48 - 3:50
    Mega Evolution just needs
to be back for the main story
  • 3:50 - 3:52
    we enjoy in Sinnoh.
  • 3:52 - 3:55
    Going up to Mt. Coronet,
    fighting Mars, and all that.
  • 3:55 - 3:56
I want to use my Mega Evolution.
  • 3:56 - 3:58
And if they do it well,
    the opponents will have
  • 3:58 - 4:00
    more Mega Evolutions
    this time around as well.
  • 4:00 - 4:02
G-Max is just not going to cut it.
  • 4:02 - 4:04
    Some people think you look
at the blue Calyrex and maybe
  • 4:04 - 4:07
    Calyrex is secretly from Sinnoh
    and we're going to have
  • 4:07 - 4:09
    blue Dynamax there.
  • 4:09 - 4:10
    I just don't want him.
  • 4:10 - 4:12
    If you're fighting Cynthia
    and she G-Maxed her Garchomp
  • 4:12 - 4:15
    and it looked all cool,
how excited would you really be?
  • 4:15 - 4:16
    Number four.
  • 4:16 - 4:18
    The models.
  • 4:18 - 4:20
    I made a whole rant
on this for like 20 minutes.
  • 4:20 - 4:22
I'll put it out in a couple days.
  • 4:22 - 4:24
    Models in Pokemon is just
    one of the biggest things
  • 4:24 - 4:25
    they've screwed up.
  • 4:25 - 4:28
    There's nothing wrong
    with introducing 3D models
  • 4:28 - 4:30
into Pokemon with Pokemon X and Y,
  • 4:30 - 4:31
    but Game Freak did,
  • 4:31 - 4:33
    not even little to nothing.
  • 4:33 - 4:36
    They did absolutely nothing
    moving forward from that point.
  • 4:36 - 4:38
    Every animation looks
    the exact same.
  • 4:38 - 4:40
    All the dog Pokemon
    have the exact same animation.
  • 4:40 - 4:42
    There's no idle animations.
  • 4:42 - 4:44
    The biggest thing I want
    in Diamond and Pearl remakes
  • 4:44 - 4:48
    is to bring back life
into the Pokemon that you're using,
  • 4:48 - 4:49
so that when I send out Infernape,
  • 4:49 - 4:52
his animation is not the same
    as what Infernape
  • 4:52 - 4:54
looks like in Sword and Shield.
  • 4:54 - 4:56
    That's what creates life
    between the different versions.
  • 4:56 - 4:58
    We all love the way
    how Milotic looks.
  • 4:58 - 5:00
    It cannot look like this
    when you're fighting
  • 5:00 - 5:02
    Cynthia's Milotic.
  • 5:02 - 5:05
It needs to have a 3D version
    of this, for example.
  • 5:05 - 5:07
    The animation just needs
    to be changed.
  • 5:07 - 5:09
And that way, it feels like
    the whole generation's revamped
  • 5:09 - 5:11
    and something fun.
  • 5:11 - 5:12
    There's so much more
to go on for this point,
  • 5:12 - 5:14
but we'll save it for the rant.
  • 5:14 - 5:15
    It's one of those things
    where you don't know
  • 5:15 - 5:17
    how much you wanted
    until they actually do it
  • 5:17 - 5:18
    in the game.
  • 5:18 - 5:19
    Change all the animations.
  • 5:19 - 5:22
    Number three, a perfected Overworld.
  • 5:22 - 5:25
I'm not talking about the models
    and animations in games,
  • 5:25 - 5:26
    I mean the Overworld.
  • 5:26 - 5:28
You want to talk about the three?
  • 5:28 - 5:31
    I'm referring to things
    like when Zacian and Zamazenta
  • 5:31 - 5:32
popped up in the postgame cutscene
  • 5:32 - 5:34
    and they're moonwalking around,
  • 5:34 - 5:37
and it feels like a game from 2004,
  • 5:37 - 5:39
    just upscaled to Sword
    and Shield graphics.
  • 5:39 - 5:42
    The animation pool
    of everything in the Overworld
  • 5:42 - 5:45
needs to be upgraded and perfected.
  • 5:45 - 5:46
The game needs to feel immersive
  • 5:46 - 5:48
    versus what Sword
    and Shield gave us.
  • 5:48 - 5:50
    Sword and Shield needs
    to feel like the prototypes.
  • 5:50 - 5:52
    Something we were never
    meant to play.
  • 5:52 - 5:53
    You know, more than
    when you walk around
  • 5:53 - 5:56
    seeing Gyarados loch ness monster
    chilling there,
  • 5:56 - 5:58
I want to see him waving about.
  • 5:58 - 5:59
    I want to see little
  • 5:59 - 6:00
    Donphans...
  • 6:00 - 6:02
    Wait. That's not dolphin.
  • 6:02 - 6:03
I want to see little fish Pokemon
    jumping out of the water
  • 6:03 - 6:05
    and splashing back in.
  • 6:05 - 6:07
I want to see fish Pokemon
    jumping out of the water
  • 6:07 - 6:08
    and accidentally
    landing on the land.
  • 6:08 - 6:10
You got up to them, push, hey,
    they're just flopping
  • 6:10 - 6:11
    on the soil.
  • 6:11 - 6:13
    You know, when you're walking
    around the wild area
  • 6:13 - 6:14
    in Pokemon teleport
    out of nowhere.
  • 6:14 - 6:16
I want that to be blended in more.
  • 6:16 - 6:18
You don't want to be constantly
    reminded that,
  • 6:18 - 6:19
    yeah, Pokemon are loading.
  • 6:19 - 6:21
You just want it to be immersive.
  • 6:21 - 6:22
    The Pokemon should load
    in the distance.
  • 6:22 - 6:24
Come on. This is the same game
    that could run
  • 6:24 - 6:25
    Breath of the Wild.
  • 6:25 - 6:26
    You can load the Pokemon
    in the distance.
  • 6:26 - 6:28
    I want during cutscenes
    for our character
  • 6:28 - 6:29
    to not be smiling.
  • 6:29 - 6:31
    When Eternatus is threatening
    the world,
  • 6:31 - 6:33
    when Palkia and Giratina
    are threatening the world,
  • 6:33 - 6:35
I want when you're fighting Mars
  • 6:35 - 6:37
    that she can actually change
    your facial expressions
  • 6:37 - 6:39
and she gives you a dirty look
    before fighting you.
  • 6:39 - 6:41
Like a glary look not dirty.
  • 6:41 - 6:42
    God.
  • 6:42 - 6:44
    When we're fighting
    all those legendaries
  • 6:44 - 6:46
    like in the postgame,
I want it to be like
  • 6:46 - 6:47
how it was when you saw
    Mewtwo in X and Y.
  • 6:47 - 6:49
    Perfect the Overworld.
  • 6:49 - 6:52
    Add as many animations
    as you can, make it
  • 6:52 - 6:53
    as immersive as you can.
  • 6:53 - 6:55
It may seem like I'm asking
for a lot, but Game Freak
  • 6:55 - 6:58
    being game developers,
    this is what they do.
  • 6:58 - 7:00
    Instead of making Gyarados
    chilling in the like
  • 7:00 - 7:01
    making them animate around.
  • 7:01 - 7:03
This is, this is your job.
  • 7:03 - 7:05
    You guys have the potential
to kill it in these fields,
  • 7:05 - 7:06
    so kill it.
  • 7:06 - 7:07
Breath of the Wild may be from 2017.
  • 7:07 - 7:10
    Immerse the gameplay
    and catch up to that
  • 7:10 - 7:13
and make the game feel insane
    when you're in the Overworld.
  • 7:13 - 7:15
    You only get one chance
    to make Sinnoh remakes.
  • 7:15 - 7:16
    Do it sick.
  • 7:16 - 7:17
    Number two.
  • 7:17 - 7:19
    This is the biggest one
    on this list.
  • 7:19 - 7:22
    Expanded story in postgame.
  • 7:22 - 7:24
Just doing the first three things
    makes this game
  • 7:24 - 7:26
twice as good as Sword and Shield.
  • 7:26 - 7:27
    Number two.
  • 7:27 - 7:29
This is a whole new thing.
  • 7:29 - 7:31
    Expanded story in postgame.
    In other words,
  • 7:31 - 7:35
    the little things that actually
    complete all the gaps
  • 7:35 - 7:37
    and just make it feel
    like a fun journey
  • 7:37 - 7:38
    every step of the way.
  • 7:38 - 7:41
    In Sinnoh, I actually enjoy
that you needed to soft complete
  • 7:41 - 7:43
the dex, just see all the Pokemon
    to move forward
  • 7:43 - 7:45
and get to that final island.
  • 7:45 - 7:47
    If you didn't enjoy that,
you're a wuss and you wanted
  • 7:47 - 7:48
    the game handed to you.
  • 7:48 - 7:51
The whole island after you did
    just a bit of work
  • 7:51 - 7:52
    was rewarding.
  • 7:52 - 7:54
    And besides, you literally
    see 95% of the Pokemon
  • 7:54 - 7:56
by the time you beat the Champion.
  • 7:56 - 7:58
    Just talk to the granny,
    see Dialga, and boom,
  • 7:58 - 7:59
    Sinnoh postgame.
  • 7:59 - 8:00
Lets you go to the last island
    and hang out.
  • 8:00 - 8:02
    From the moment you
    become Champion,
  • 8:02 - 8:05
    add a story that ties
    into that island,
  • 8:05 - 8:07
because as far as I can remember,
    that island in the postgame
  • 8:07 - 8:09
    was just open for exploration.
  • 8:09 - 8:11
    There wasn't any story
    tying it all together.
  • 8:11 - 8:14
    Check out all the potential
you have in the Sinnoh postgame.
  • 8:14 - 8:17
    Your rival's father
    is a Battle Frontier Brain.
  • 8:17 - 8:18
    I don't know about you,
    but as a kid,
  • 8:18 - 8:21
    I looked at Frontier Brains
    above the Champion
  • 8:21 - 8:23
or at least near Champion level.
  • 8:23 - 8:25
Add him into this postgame story
    that involves
  • 8:25 - 8:26
    the last island.
  • 8:26 - 8:27
    Have Team Galactic's final stand.
  • 8:27 - 8:29
    Have it so Cyrus summoning
    Dialga and Palkia
  • 8:29 - 8:33
    in the main story upset
the continuum and woke up Giratina
  • 8:33 - 8:34
and he's flying in the postgame.
  • 8:34 - 8:36
    Add a story with
    an original story like Zinnia.
  • 8:36 - 8:38
Have it tie into the postgame island
  • 8:38 - 8:40
    alongside this legendary.
  • 8:40 - 8:42
    It'll be the Delta Episode,
    but with Giratina threatening
  • 8:42 - 8:43
    the postgame.
  • 8:43 - 8:45
    Where even Galactic is
    in shock and regrets
  • 8:45 - 8:46
    what they did
    and you saved their butts.
  • 8:46 - 8:50
    Or better yet,
    involve the opposite cover legendary
  • 8:50 - 8:51
    into the postgame.
  • 8:51 - 8:52
Think of all kinds of scenarios.
  • 8:52 - 8:53
    Here's one.
  • 8:53 - 8:54
    In Pokemon Pearl remakes,
    Dialga's the one
  • 8:54 - 8:56
who's woken up and is going ham
  • 8:56 - 8:57
    in the postgame island.
  • 8:57 - 8:59
    And you get a hint
    to go to Turnback Cave,
  • 8:59 - 9:01
and just like in Pokemon Emerald,
  • 9:01 - 9:04
where you go up Sky Pillar,
    you talk to that Rayquaza
  • 9:04 - 9:06
    and he just flies off,
    Giratina flies off
  • 9:06 - 9:07
    from the Turnback Cave
  • 9:07 - 9:08
    and into the postgame island.
  • 9:08 - 9:10
You go to the postgame island,
  • 9:10 - 9:13
    Dialga's there fighting Giratina.
  • 9:13 - 9:15
And at the end of the cutscene,
    Giratina opens up
  • 9:15 - 9:18
    a portal and sends everyone
    present there
  • 9:18 - 9:19
    just into the Distortion World.
  • 9:19 - 9:20
    They all go flying in.
  • 9:20 - 9:22
And it's just kind of awkward.
  • 9:22 - 9:24
There's a portal in the middle
    of town and the townspeople
  • 9:24 - 9:26
    are all watching like
    "What the freak is this?"
  • 9:26 - 9:28
    just like in Sootopolis
    when Kyogre and Groudon
  • 9:28 - 9:29
    where bathing in their water.
  • 9:29 - 9:30
You know, the fashion of the portal.
  • 9:30 - 9:32
    You save your game,
    you go in the portal,
  • 9:32 - 9:34
    and boom, Distortion World time.
  • 9:34 - 9:36
    Maybe Cynthia's there,
    maybe Cyrus is there.
  • 9:36 - 9:37
    Who knows?
  • 9:37 - 9:39
    Just Platinum vibes though.
  • 9:39 - 9:40
    Postgame vibes.
  • 9:40 - 9:43
    And most importantly,
    Delta Episode vibes.
  • 9:43 - 9:44
    It's very important.
  • 9:44 - 9:46
    Bring back Delta Episode vibes.
  • 9:46 - 9:48
That was a postgame done well.
  • 9:48 - 9:49
    Maybe even include Barry's father.
  • 9:49 - 9:51
He's caught up in this as well.
  • 9:51 - 9:53
    Barry deserves to have
    more screen time.
  • 9:53 - 9:54
And he has a whole father.
  • 9:54 - 9:57
    That was so much potential
    for fun dialogue.
  • 9:57 - 9:59
    Everyone's trapped in here
    and as you go
  • 9:59 - 10:01
    through the Distortion World,
    you keep running
  • 10:01 - 10:03
    into Barry and his Father
    all over the place.
  • 10:03 - 10:05
    And meanwhile, Mesprit,
    Uxie, and Azelf
  • 10:05 - 10:07
    are helping you get
    through the Distortion World
  • 10:07 - 10:08
just like they did in Platinum.
  • 10:08 - 10:10
    Anyhow, to conclude,
you make it to the end of the puzzle
  • 10:10 - 10:13
    talking with Team Galactic grunts
    on the way here all
  • 10:13 - 10:14
"Bruh, I don't want to be here."
  • 10:14 - 10:17
    And on that final platform,
    Dialga standing across Giratina.
  • 10:17 - 10:20
    You walk up, Giratina
    joins your party,
  • 10:20 - 10:22
    you fight Dialga,
    and the arc's over,
  • 10:22 - 10:24
    and everyone's free
    from the Distortion World.
  • 10:24 - 10:27
    World's back to normal,
you have the island to explore now
  • 10:27 - 10:29
and the rest of the legendaries
    in postgame
  • 10:29 - 10:30
    including Barry's Father.
  • 10:30 - 10:32
There you go. The Platinum episode
  • 10:32 - 10:33
    for Diamond and Pearl remakes.
  • 10:33 - 10:36
    The most important thing
I did here was not only
  • 10:36 - 10:37
    bring Giratina into the postgame,
  • 10:37 - 10:40
but tie it into the different
    postgame locations.
  • 10:40 - 10:43
    Everything's twisted together,
    the final island, Giratina,
  • 10:43 - 10:45
    that's what makes
    a good Delta Episode
  • 10:45 - 10:46
    like postgame.
  • 10:46 - 10:47
    That's the Platinum Episode.
  • 10:47 - 10:50
    There's one thing ORAS
    did was create probably
  • 10:50 - 10:52
    the best postgame
    in any Pokemon game.
  • 10:52 - 10:54
    Zinnia didn't exist in Emerald.
  • 10:54 - 10:56
    Deoxys was unobtainable
    event legendary.
  • 10:56 - 10:59
    Rayquaza was just standing
    there atop Sky Pillar.
  • 10:59 - 11:01
All of that was twisted together
  • 11:01 - 11:02
    into a beautiful story.
  • 11:02 - 11:04
That's what you got to do
    for Platinum.
  • 11:04 - 11:05
    Anyhow, that's number two.
  • 11:05 - 11:06
Before I move on to number one,
  • 11:07 - 11:09
    a word from our sponsors!
  • 11:10 - 11:11
    Bro, we made it.
  • 11:11 - 11:13
    Y'all didn't think we could
    get here, did you?
  • 11:13 - 11:14
    We're in the endgame now.
  • 11:14 - 11:16
    So this video was sponsored
    by SurfShark.
  • 11:16 - 11:19
    SurfShark, you may have
    heard of, is a VPN,
  • 11:19 - 11:20
    a privacy protection tool.
  • 11:20 - 11:22
    Y'all think you're safe
going on whatever sites you do
  • 11:22 - 11:25
    until Colress starts tracking
    your IP address.
  • 11:25 - 11:27
    SurfShark encrypts your data
    when you're accessing
  • 11:27 - 11:28
    the internet.
  • 11:28 - 11:31
    It can mask your location
    to a whole other place
  • 11:31 - 11:32
    in the world.
  • 11:32 - 11:34
This means you can go on Netflix
    or other YouTube channels
  • 11:34 - 11:35
    that are blocked.
  • 11:35 - 11:36
    And if you're not allowed
    to watch their videos
  • 11:36 - 11:39
    in your country,
you just change to another country
  • 11:39 - 11:40
and now you can watch them.
  • 11:40 - 11:41
    Checkmate Colress.
  • 11:41 - 11:43
    I'm not KSI's neighbor.
  • 11:43 - 11:44
I live in the United Kingdom.
  • 11:44 - 11:48
All you got to do is head to
    surfshark.deals/tyranitar.
  • 11:48 - 11:49
That's right. I got my own code.
  • 11:49 - 11:52
    And you'll get 83% off
    and three extra months
  • 11:52 - 11:53
    for free.
  • 11:53 - 11:54
    There's also a 30-day
    money back guarantee.
  • 11:54 - 11:57
So head on to the site
    and get you a VPN.
  • 11:57 - 11:58
All right. Back to the show.
  • 11:58 - 12:01
Number one. I'll keep this simple.
  • 12:01 - 12:04
It's not the thing I want
    the most, it's controversial,
  • 12:04 - 12:06
    but it deserves to be
    the number one thing
  • 12:06 - 12:08
in this list, and it's DLCs.
  • 12:08 - 12:10
I don't like the idea of DLCs.
  • 12:10 - 12:14
    On the Switch, Pokemon games
    are already 30% more expensive.
  • 12:14 - 12:17
But as a DLC to add
    another 30% of the cost
  • 12:17 - 12:20
    for additional content,
    isn't in good taste.
  • 12:20 - 12:23
    But unfortunately,
    for Game Freak's lazy [ _ ] team,
  • 12:23 - 12:24
    it's important.
  • 12:24 - 12:28
Because we have to pay for it,
they have to make it good.
  • 12:28 - 12:29
    And that's the dilemma.
  • 12:29 - 12:31
    That makes me want them
    to keep doing
  • 12:31 - 12:32
    the forsaken DLC.
  • 12:32 - 12:35
    If Game Freak produces
a DLC for the Shaymin event,
  • 12:35 - 12:38
expanding it for the Darkrai event,
    expanding it.
  • 12:38 - 12:40
    May I remind you
    the potential Darkrai has,
  • 12:40 - 12:43
    especially with how
    he was hanging with Dialga
  • 12:43 - 12:44
    and Palkia in the movie,
  • 12:44 - 12:45
    and even has a distribution
  • 12:45 - 12:47
where he has the signature moves,
  • 12:47 - 12:50
Roar of Time and Spatial Rend
    in his moveset.
  • 12:50 - 12:51
    He literally have those moves
  • 12:51 - 12:52
in your Diamond and Pearl games.
  • 12:52 - 12:54
And even if you don't count
    the movies, the concept
  • 12:54 - 12:55
    is still there.
  • 12:55 - 12:57
Darkrai has potential to be huge!
  • 12:57 - 12:59
Expand it right and you could
    have a whole city
  • 12:59 - 13:01
    be in a dark dilemma
  • 13:01 - 13:02
    where everyone is sleeping.
  • 13:02 - 13:04
I'll save this for a future video,
  • 13:04 - 13:06
but you could have the same
    kind of dilemma
  • 13:06 - 13:09
    as you had with Kyogre
    and Groudon tearing
  • 13:09 - 13:10
apart the worlds with their weather,
  • 13:10 - 13:13
    but it's Darkrai with putting
    city after city to sleep
  • 13:13 - 13:14
    one by one.
  • 13:14 - 13:16
    Even Professor Rowan knocked out.
  • 13:16 - 13:18
    And whenever you try
to enter those blacked out areas,
  • 13:18 - 13:20
    your rival Barry's there
    and he stops you
  • 13:20 - 13:21
    from going inside
  • 13:21 - 13:22
and you just can't go forward.
  • 13:22 - 13:25
    And without anyone telling you,
if you go take a boat,
  • 13:25 - 13:27
    go to Fullmoon Island,
    capture Cresselia and come back,
  • 13:27 - 13:31
    your rival's suddenly sleeping
at the border of the city.
  • 13:31 - 13:33
    And now you can enter
into the city, you find Darkrai
  • 13:33 - 13:35
    and you capture him
and the whole world wakes up.
  • 13:35 - 13:37
See, it's just fun, isn't it?
  • 13:37 - 13:38
And I was just talking about
    the Darkrai event.
  • 13:38 - 13:41
    They could do
a whole Shaymin event as well
  • 13:41 - 13:42
    with story.
  • 13:42 - 13:44
And of course, an Arceus event.
  • 13:44 - 13:45
    That's the one with
    the biggest potential.
  • 13:45 - 13:47
    And they can even go
    further beyond,
  • 13:47 - 13:49
    but I'll explain that
    in another video.
  • 13:49 - 13:51
    But that's just it.
  • 13:51 - 13:53
    Game Freak will never
    make a Darkrai event
  • 13:53 - 13:56
    like this if they don't
    make it a DLC.
  • 13:56 - 13:59
    The kind of postgame
    you'll get if it's not a DLC
  • 13:59 - 14:01
    is the Swordward
    and Shieldward stuff
  • 14:01 - 14:02
    where they didn't have
    custom themes
  • 14:02 - 14:05
    where Zacian and Zamazenta
    didn't have complete
  • 14:05 - 14:07
    animations and were moonwalking.
  • 14:07 - 14:09
    The dilemma, the unfortunate
    equivalent exchange
  • 14:09 - 14:11
    is a DLC.
  • 14:11 - 14:14
But if they make us pay for it,
    they can and will make
  • 14:14 - 14:17
    a DLC this good
    for just the Darkrai event.
  • 14:17 - 14:19
    The first DLC event
    would have both the Shaymin
  • 14:19 - 14:20
    and the Darkrai event,
  • 14:20 - 14:22
the second DLC Arceus and beyond.
  • 14:22 - 14:24
    So then, Game Freak,
    the number one thing
  • 14:24 - 14:27
on my list for the game
    we avoided 15 years for
  • 14:27 - 14:29
    and once they pass,
    we'll have to wait
  • 14:29 - 14:32
    20 years before we enter
    Sinnoh confirmed territory again,
  • 14:32 - 14:35
is for you to make these games right.
  • 14:35 - 14:37
Add a truly passionately done DLC
  • 14:37 - 14:39
to seal the deal and make these one
  • 14:39 - 14:40
    of the best Pokemon games.
  • 14:40 - 14:42
    You do these five things
on this list which is not
  • 14:42 - 14:43
    even far-fetched
  • 14:43 - 14:45
    and I'll take back
    every little thing I said
  • 14:45 - 14:46
    about you Masuda.
  • 14:46 - 14:48
It'll be hard to not make
    another joke,
  • 14:48 - 14:49
but I will never make it.
  • 14:49 - 14:51
That's it. That's my video for today.
  • 14:51 - 14:53
Going to shank that like button
    and I'll see you
  • 14:53 - 14:53
    on the next video.
  • 14:53 - 14:54
    Take care.
  • 14:54 - 15:07
    (outro music)
