We'll be in a crowd of like 12 people
having a drink or something.

He's just the life of the party.
He's making everyone laugh right.

And that sh*t is so funny to me.

I'm just like dang I gotta go tell
this somewhere else.

I try to use it and I'm there at my little
circle right.

I say it and everyone is just like..

"Uh-huh"

I'm just like "that sh*t wasn't funny
to you?"

They are like "I guess like if you
think about it like that"

I'm like damn I suck at this.

[pH-1] Yeah that's a poor execution.

[BM] Yeah, I know.

J.Seph, he has the magic in his humor.

[Peniel] Execution is definitely important.

[pH-1] Also, timing is really important.

That little paus in between.

[Peniel] For sure.

[BM] My dad is pretty funny.

[Ashley] My parents are not funny.

So I get it..

[Peniel] It all makes sense now.

[BM] She calls her mom after like
"mom why are you not funny?"

[Peniel] It just clicked to her she's like
"oh, okay i see"

[Ashley] They have funny moments
like I do.

But they're generally not funny.

[BM] Are you making fun of them when
they have their funny moments usually?

[Peniel] When they have their funny moments,
are you laughing with them or at them?

[BM] Cuz if so, it all makes sense
even more.

[Ashley] I don't wanna answer.

[Peniel] Yeah it's definitely my parents.
And then I feel like..

Stuff you watch growing up too.

Like if you think like comedians.

If you think this comedian is funny then
you'll kinda-

Your attitude will start trying to be
like them.

Trying to be more funny like them
and stuff when you're younger.

[pH-1] I think we all share a similar
sense of humor. Like codes.

Because we grew up in a similar
generation.

[BM] We watched a lot of the similar
stuff too.

[Ashley] I think I figured out why.
I was thinking and the reason-

[Peniel] Is that why you were so

[Peniel] I was like "she is not talking
today. what is wrong with her?"

[Ashley] The reason why- You know
how I said my humor code-

Or people think I'm funny when I'm
like moving my body.

Or like using my facial expressions.

I think it's cuz I grew up watching like
"gag concert".

The Korean gag shows.

Yeah, it was like slapstick.

I remember laughing my ass off like
peeing my pants because..

There was this corner-

[Peniel] Wait hold on what?

[Ashley] There were these two guys
in complete black leotards.

And they had their nostrils drawn black
to make it look bigger.

And they they would-
Their thing was just.

And I swear I was watching that and
my brother and I were dying!

And I just thought that was so funny.

But then if I look back now, I'm like
why is this so funny?

But maybe because I grew up watching that

I felt like I had to move my body
in order to be funny.

[BM] Did you ever impersonate that
like draw your nostrils?

[Ashley] I did.

[BM] You did?

[Peniel] You drew your nostrils like?

[Ashley] Yes.

[Peniel] And you did "ji ji ri ji"

[Ashley] Yes, it's so funny.

leotard too?

[Ashley] No, just my nostrils.

Yes I practiced in the mirror but.

And you go to the bathroom and [draws
on nostrils] and you come out.

about though?

[Peniel] No idea.

[Ashley] It's from "people looking for
a laugh"

[BM] I need to find that clip.

And they get all serious. I'm like

Especially if it's like a relationship.

Such a turn off.

I'm not a serious person.

So I feel like my friends gotta have
similar humor code.

Otherwise I'll just go "hah..."
