My Week In Outfits #4

  • 3:39 - 3:42
Hey, so I have something very exciting to
announce, and you might have picked up on
  • 3:42 - 3:48
the hints that I was dropping throughout my
video - I am releasing my very first clothing
  • 3:48 - 3:52
    line. *squeal!*
I am so excited about this, and I hope that
  • 3:52 - 3:55
    you are too!
So these are the three t-shirts that I have
  • 3:55 - 3:59
designed and that are coming out as my very
    first release.
  • 3:59 - 4:02
And if they do well, hopefully there will
be more to come over the next year!
  • 4:02 - 4:05
I've been working on this for the past couple
of months and it's been really interesting
  • 4:05 - 4:09
learning all about the design process and
what goes into making clothes and sending
  • 4:09 - 4:11
samples back and forth and back and forth...
  • 4:11 - 4:16
So the inspiration for this first collection
was Japanese street fashion mixed with vintage
  • 4:16 - 4:21
with a good helping of kitschy-ness and novelty
    thrown into the mix.
  • 4:21 - 4:25
And I designed these t-shirts with the intention
of them being able to be both dressed up - and
  • 4:25 - 4:30
to look really cute with high-waisted skirts
and especially gingham - but also to be dressed
  • 4:30 - 4:34
down and worn in a more casual way - but still
look really cute - with things like jeans
  • 4:34 - 4:35
    and shorts.
  • 4:35 - 4:39
So! A couple of important things to mention.
Number one is that the t-shirts are all ethically
  • 4:39 - 4:44
produced in North America. Now this was the
most important thing to me in making my own
  • 4:44 - 4:47
clothing. I would not have gone with any company
who didn't know where their clothing was being
  • 4:47 - 4:53
manufactured and weren't paying their workers
a proper living wage. So that's kind of reflected
  • 4:53 - 4:57
in the price - I know it's a little bit pricey,
but they're not being made in a sweatshop,
  • 4:57 - 5:02
and, number two, the t-shirts are really high
    quality, they're really well-made and they're
  • 5:02 - 5:07
really really soft. Number three - for a whole
week after this video is released, they will
  • 5:07 - 5:11
be 15% off if you use the promo code AV15
    at the checkout.
  • 5:11 - 5:17
And number four ... four! I understand that
this price still might be a bit too high for
  • 5:17 - 5:22
some people so I will be doing a giveaway
of one of the t-shirts to one of my viewers
  • 5:22 - 5:26
    - so look out for that video in the next couple
    of weeks.
  • 5:26 - 5:30
And number five - you might be thinking:"What
    size should I get?"
  • 5:30 - 5:36
    Well, I am a size AU10-12 or a US6, and my
bust measurement is about 36 to 37 inches,
  • 5:36 - 5:39
and I am a size small in all of these t-shirts.
  • 5:39 - 5:44
So I hope that helps if you're not too sure
what size to buy. And lastly, if you do buy
  • 5:44 - 5:48
one of my shirts then please please please
take a photo and send one to me - you can
  • 5:48 - 5:54
tag me in photos on instagram, I am @littlepineneedle
    - I would be so so excited to see you guys
  • 5:54 - 5:56
    wearing my own designs.
  • 5:56 - 6:00
So that's it for today, and I hope you're
all having a really good day, and thank you
  • 6:00 - 6:05
SO MUCH for supporting me and what I do on
my channel - I could not have done this without
  • 6:05 - 6:07
    all of your support.
  • 6:07 - 6:10
And I'll see you all for my next video.
    Bye!
