I let you introduced yourself

My name is Zoé, I'm 12, I live near Paris, I'm in 7th grade, and I played in "Tomboy" of Celine Sciamma

So i'll let you introduce your character

So, it's a little girl called Laure, she moves in a new neighborhood, met a girl called Lisa

Who asked her if she's a boy, if he's new

and she answer "Yes" so she pretend to be Mickael

Okay, so do you think that Laure and Mickael (since it's the same character)

can you say you look like them ?

A bit, because I'm "garçon manqué"

But I won't go as far as pretending to be a boy

So, I read that the movie was shot with a reflex camera (5D)

Yes

So, was it weird ?

It not the same as a camera

Yes, it's smaller

It's smaller ?

So, a question that was asked a lot : how do you get the role ?

Heu, I went to a casting in Paris, then they called me for a second one

It worked, and you shot the movie, not long after

So, did you ever had drama classes before ?

No never.

Never ?

And for the need of the movie did you take some ?

No

Celine Sciamma, tomboy's director, did she let you a big part of improvisation ?

She gives us a big part of improvisation, especially for the games with the children, or with the little sister

We did that

It was about our feeling

And since it was good, she takes the scenes

So the film ends on your smile, when you see Lisa

Can we say that it's Laure who's back and we forget about Mickael ?

In my opinion, that's what she must feel

Is that what you felt while playing ?

What I think when I saw the movie is that since she's smiling, everything is forgotten

How do you think Lisa is on the other side ?

I think she's understading

And she forgives to Mickael ?

Yes

How went the shooting? you are very close to Malonn Lévana

who plays Jeanne, your little sister

We see you very close on screen, we wonder if on the set it was the same ?

On the set, like in the movie, it was the same, and even out of the set when we saw each other

There was a good athmosphere ?

yes, we are very close

And with the other characters ?

With the other kids, since they were my friends it went well, it was easier

You already know some of the kids before the movie ?

yes

And with your parents, how did it go ?

Well the people playing your parents

It was great, with Mathieu Demy who played the dad,

we played football games of the PS2,

So there was a great atmosphere on the set

With the director, and the technical staff too ?

Yes, it was great

And a little question, was it hard to cut your hair?

When I saw my hair cut I made a face, I wasn't expected so short

I thought they were gonna be just a bit shorter than now

And they cut it very quickly and I was chocked

And, in the end, what do you think about the movie ?

Once you saw it, and went on the other side of the screen ?

It's weird to see me, that's sure, but I think it's good, I don't know, I liked it
