Faith and Fire - Jesus Culture

  • 0:05 - 0:10
    Praise be to God.
  • 0:10 - 0:19
    Let everything that has
    breath praise the Lord.
  • 0:19 - 0:22
    Hallelujah.
  • 0:24 - 0:28
What a mighty God we serve.
  • 0:31 - 0:33
    Jesus is here tonight.
  • 0:33 - 0:35
I am honored to be here.
  • 0:35 - 0:39
    Thank you very much,
    Banning, for inviting me.
  • 0:39 - 0:43
I am so glad to see you, be with you.
  • 0:43 - 0:50
And we are all together with
    Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
  • 0:50 - 0:52
    Amen.
  • 0:53 - 1:02
What God has done and what God is doing is
    absolutely glorious.
  • 1:02 - 1:10
And as I just said a few minutes ago,
outside here to a little group,
  • 1:10 - 1:15
I said, The God that is omnipotent
  • 1:15 - 1:21
in Africa is not impotent in America.
  • 1:24 - 1:27
    Yes, praise God.
  • 1:27 - 1:29
    He is the same.
  • 1:29 - 1:35
    He is the same Jesus,
the same God, the same Lord.
  • 1:35 - 1:37
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
  • 1:37 - 1:39
    Hallelujah.
    Praise God.
  • 1:39 - 1:42
    Praise God.
    Praise God.
  • 1:42 - 1:51
Well, as I said, I'm honored to be here
    at Jesus Culture Conference.
  • 1:51 - 1:54
I like the name, by the way, very much.
  • 1:54 - 1:58
    It's a lifestyle,
    it's a culture, isn't it?
  • 1:58 - 2:00
    And it's a family.
  • 2:00 - 2:06
    And this is all compounded.
  • 2:06 - 2:08
    I'm also very happy
  • 2:08 - 2:13
for my dear friend Russell Evans,
    who is here from Australia,
  • 2:13 - 2:19
from the planet shakers, world shakers,
    planet shakers, America shakers.
  • 2:19 - 2:20
    Amen.
  • 2:20 - 2:28
And my friend, Bill Johnson, of course,
whom I love and highly appreciate,
  • 2:28 - 2:32
although he's not here, but I
just would like to mention him.
  • 2:32 - 2:36
And a very big word of appreciation also
  • 2:36 - 2:41
    to my friend, Louis Engels,
    who spoke here.
  • 2:41 - 2:44
    Wow, it's fantastic.
  • 2:44 - 2:47
I think we have a similar voice.
  • 2:47 - 2:55
I think we preached our voices to pieces,
but it is still audible, though.
  • 2:55 - 2:59
And then also Daniel Colanda is here.
  • 2:59 - 3:04
He's the he is the chief evangelist
    of Christ for all nations.
  • 3:04 - 3:08
You just saw him in this clip.
  • 3:08 - 3:11
    And he is my successor.
  • 3:11 - 3:13
I'm an old man by now.
  • 3:13 - 3:17
    I'm 73 years of age.
  • 3:17 - 3:21
    But
    I
  • 3:21 - 3:27
tell you, old age means absolutely nothing
  • 3:27 - 3:32
as long as the Holy Spirit empowers us.
  • 3:32 - 3:37
    Yeah, that's the difference.
  • 3:37 - 3:42
I am moving on in years, but I tell you,
  • 3:42 - 3:50
I still want to kick the devil
    before I kick the bucket.
  • 3:52 - 3:56
    America will be safe.
  • 3:56 - 4:01
    America will be saved.
  • 4:01 - 4:04
This is what the Holy Spirit spoke to me.
  • 4:05 - 4:10
    In Africa, in 1972,
  • 4:11 - 4:16
I heard the Holy Spirit shout in my dream,
    Africa shall be saved.
  • 4:16 - 4:20
And I saw a blood washed Africa.
  • 4:20 - 4:24
    And everybody thought, It's impossible.
  • 4:24 - 4:25
    It's impossible.
  • 4:25 - 4:27
    It's impossible.
  • 4:28 - 4:36
But I heard it in four consecutive nights
until I then said to my wife after night
  • 4:36 - 4:42
number four, I think the Holy Spirit
is trying to tell me something.
  • 4:43 - 4:48
And then I saw him in action as we moved.
  • 4:50 - 4:55
God expects us to move, and then he moves.
  • 4:55 - 4:59
That is the ABC of service for God.
  • 4:59 - 5:03
We move, then he moves with us.
  • 5:03 - 5:10
And I heard him last year
  • 5:10 - 5:15
    saying, America will be saved.
  • 5:17 - 5:21
    America will be saved.
  • 5:22 - 5:25
People say, What do you say?
  • 5:25 - 5:26
    What do you say?
  • 5:26 - 5:28
    What do you say?
  • 5:28 - 5:32
Well, after having seen what I have seen
  • 5:32 - 5:38
    in Africa, I have become
    an incurable believer.
  • 5:39 - 5:42
I don't want to be cured.
  • 5:43 - 5:51
But I believe America will be saved
and we will march towards it.
  • 5:51 - 5:54
And the Lord will do what only he can do.
  • 5:54 - 5:57
I'm just a small little evangelist.
  • 5:57 - 6:02
    But I tell you,
    God takes the small people.
  • 6:02 - 6:09
He doesn't take the big ones
    like Goliath or like Solomon.
  • 6:09 - 6:16
    Somehow in the Bible,
big people have a bad press.
  • 6:16 - 6:20
    But he takes the nobodies
and turns them into some bodies.
  • 6:21 - 6:26
And the world rejects a God's elect.
  • 6:26 - 6:27
    That's him.
  • 6:27 - 6:29
    That's this Bible.
  • 6:29 - 6:31
    Amen.
  • 6:31 - 6:33
    So we are starting.
  • 6:33 - 6:44
    I so much agree
    with Banning and with Louis.
  • 6:44 - 6:52
Yes, we will go from stadium to stadium,
from city to city, from state to state,
  • 6:52 - 6:58
    and from Coast to Coast
    in the name of Jesus.
  • 6:58 - 6:58
    Amen.
  • 6:58 - 7:02
    And we'll do it together
    in Jesus' wonderful name.
  • 7:02 - 7:04
    Amen.
  • 7:04 - 7:05
    Amen.
  • 7:05 - 7:09
    I still wanted to tell
    you that I'm on Facebook.
  • 7:10 - 7:12
    Don't forget.
  • 7:13 - 7:14
    Don't forget.
  • 7:14 - 7:17
How many of you follow me on Facebook?
  • 7:18 - 7:20
    Wow.
  • 7:20 - 7:24
Well, that's a small minority here.
  • 7:25 - 7:26
    But check me out.
  • 7:26 - 7:36
I've got 3.4 million followers on
    my four language Facebook,
  • 7:36 - 7:41
and they tell me by the end of the year,
    I will have five million.
  • 7:41 - 7:43
    Isn't that wonderful?
  • 7:44 - 7:49
I'm not going to tell you
when I drink coffee or tea.
  • 7:49 - 7:54
For me, Facebook is a pulpit.
  • 7:57 - 8:04
You will get punchy stuff from the Word
of God, and it will bless you greatly.
  • 8:04 - 8:06
    Amen.
  • 8:06 - 8:08
    Make sure.
  • 8:08 - 8:14
A lready, having spilled the beans here,
    being an old man,
  • 8:14 - 8:20
I have the great joy that two
of my granddaughters are here tonight.
  • 8:20 - 8:22
    Where are you?
    Where are you?
  • 8:22 - 8:25
Can you just wave wherever you are?
  • 8:27 - 8:28
    There you can see them.
  • 8:28 - 8:33
    Yes, Anika and Elicia.
    God bless you.
  • 8:33 - 8:35
    Praise God.
    Praise God.
  • 8:36 - 8:39
I have been praying a lot for tonight,
  • 8:39 - 8:44
    and I believe the Lord
    has given me a word.
  • 8:44 - 8:46
    I want to preach.
  • 8:46 - 8:54
I've been on my knees and I've said, Lord,
what do you want me to say?
  • 8:54 - 9:02
I want to speak to you
as if it was my last sermon.
  • 9:02 - 9:06
    I don't intend to die
    tonight, don't worry.
  • 9:07 - 9:14
But I want to speak with that same urgency
    and emergency.
  • 9:15 - 9:16
    I'm an evangelist.
  • 9:16 - 9:19
    I'm after souls.
  • 9:19 - 9:23
Every time I take a microphone,
I have one desire in my heart.
  • 9:23 - 9:28
I want hell empty and heaven full.
  • 9:29 - 9:34
Yes, that's why we preach the gospel.
  • 9:34 - 9:38
And that is the reason why Jesus died.
  • 9:38 - 9:40
    That is the reason.
  • 9:40 - 9:44
He died to seek and save the lost.
  • 9:44 - 9:48
He died to deliver those who were bound,
  • 9:48 - 9:58
to set the captives free, to heal
the sick, and do glorious miracles.
  • 9:58 - 10:01
    He's the God of miracles.
  • 10:01 - 10:05
Everything in the Bible is miraculous.
  • 10:05 - 10:07
    It's miraculous.
  • 10:07 - 10:13
    Somebody said to me, Reiner,
    you are preaching sensation.
  • 10:13 - 10:18
    I said, Well, it can't
    be. cannot be avoided.
  • 10:18 - 10:24
    It cannot be avoided because
this book is a miracle book.
  • 10:25 - 10:28
From beginning to end, it's all miracle.
  • 10:28 - 10:30
    It cannot be avoided.
  • 10:30 - 10:36
    I don't believe in sensationalism,
but I do believe in sensation.
  • 10:36 - 10:37
    Hallelujah.
  • 10:37 - 10:38
    Praise God.
  • 10:38 - 10:40
    Amen.
    Amen.
  • 10:40 - 10:42
    Amen.
  • 10:42 - 10:46
I want to speak here tonight
    about faith and fire.
  • 10:46 - 10:49
    Faith and fire.
  • 10:49 - 10:53
I want to contrast it a little bit here.
  • 10:53 - 11:00
And let me say, I want to give it
  • 11:00 - 11:05
to you in form of short little...
  • 11:06 - 11:12
As if somebody would string up
    beautiful purls.
  • 11:12 - 11:16
That's what I want to present to you.
  • 11:16 - 11:21
    Some necklace with beautiful purls,
    stringing up those truths.
  • 11:21 - 11:24
And I pray that the Holy Spirit may
  • 11:24 - 11:31
    plant them in your heart
as he planted them into my heart.
  • 11:31 - 11:39
    And if he is successful,
you will be successful as well.
  • 11:39 - 11:44
Because these truths changed my own life,
  • 11:44 - 11:52
got me going for God and seeing
    since 1987,
  • 11:53 - 11:58
when we started to keep records about
decisions for Christ in our gospel
  • 11:58 - 12:04
    crusades, we have reached
    the figure of 75 million.
  • 12:05 - 12:08
    75 million.
  • 12:08 - 12:10
    You know what that means?
  • 12:10 - 12:17
75 million less in hell and 75
    million more in heaven.
  • 12:17 - 12:20
    That's what it means.
  • 12:20 - 12:22
    That's what it brings.
  • 12:22 - 12:25
    That is the result.
  • 12:25 - 12:26
    Hallelujah.
  • 12:26 - 12:28
    Glory to God.
  • 12:28 - 12:35
I want to want to start
    with Mark Chapter 16.
  • 12:35 - 12:41
Mark Chapter 16, this will blow
you away right from the start.
  • 12:41 - 12:50
If you have a pen and you have a Bible,
  • 12:50 - 12:53
I want you to underline something.
  • 12:53 - 12:59
    I'm reading Mark 16 from Verse 11.
  • 12:59 - 13:02
That was before Jesus ascended to heaven
  • 13:02 - 13:09
    and gave the great
    commission to the disciples.
  • 13:09 - 13:15
    Now, Verse 11,
And when they heard that he was alive
  • 13:15 - 13:21
and had been seen by her,
    they did not believe.
  • 13:21 - 13:26
    Number one,
verse 13, And they went and told it
  • 13:26 - 13:32
    to the rest,
but they did not believe them either.
  • 13:32 - 13:34
    Verse 14,
  • 13:34 - 13:38
Later he appeared to the eleven as
    they sat at the table,
  • 13:38 - 13:43
and he rebuked their unbelief and hardness
    of heart because
  • 13:43 - 13:49
they did not believe those who had
seen him after he had risen.
  • 13:49 - 13:51
    Can you believe it?
  • 13:51 - 13:59
    Three times in a row,
it says here, they did not believe.
  • 13:59 - 14:03
    They did not believe.
  • 14:03 - 14:06
    They did not believe.
  • 14:06 - 14:11
Now that they did not believe,
    I can still believe.
  • 14:11 - 14:21
But what I find difficult to believe is
the fact that Jesus, a few verses later,
  • 14:21 - 14:28
    gave the Great Commission
    to these unbelieving believers.
  • 14:29 - 14:39
And he said, Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature.
  • 14:39 - 14:41
    Wow.
  • 14:41 - 14:44
If I had been there that day,
  • 14:44 - 14:49
I think I would have sneaked up
    from behind
  • 14:49 - 14:55
and pulled the garment of Jesus and would
have said, whispered into his ear,
  • 14:55 - 15:02
Lord Jesus, are you sure you
    picked the right people?
  • 15:04 - 15:11
Do you know that behind your
back they are full of doubts?
  • 15:11 - 15:17
Do you know that they are
    questioning you all the time?
  • 15:17 - 15:23
Are you sure you picked the right people?
  • 15:23 - 15:26
    You know what I think
    Jesus would have done?
  • 15:26 - 15:28
    Jesus would have turned around.
  • 15:28 - 15:31
    He would have done this.
  • 15:33 - 15:36
    Shut up, funky.
  • 15:38 - 15:46
I have a secret you don't yet know.
  • 15:46 - 15:48
    Hallelujah.
  • 15:48 - 15:58
    You
know what amazes me is that a perfect
  • 15:58 - 16:05
    God desires the cooperation
    of imperfect people.
  • 16:05 - 16:14
But he says, You shall receive power.
  • 16:14 - 16:21
    And now, listen,
after verse 14, we read verse 20.
  • 16:23 - 16:28
It says there, And they went out
  • 16:28 - 16:33
    and preached everywhere,
and the Lord working with them
  • 16:33 - 16:39
    and confirming the word through
    the accompanying signs.
  • 16:39 - 16:41
    Amen.
  • 16:41 - 16:43
    Hallelujah.
  • 16:43 - 16:51
    I asked myself, what happened
between verse 14 and verse 20?
  • 16:51 - 16:53
    What happened?
  • 16:55 - 16:58
    What was the key?
  • 16:58 - 17:04
Well, this is Mark is not writing
    properly chronologically.
  • 17:05 - 17:14
But we know that between verse 14
and verse 20 is Acts 2.
  • 17:14 - 17:21
    When the Holy Spirit
came into this world and they were filled
  • 17:21 - 17:30
with power and then went out
    and served the Lord gloriously.
  • 17:30 - 17:32
    Amen?
  • 17:32 - 17:42
Now, I would like to take you
by your hand if you are at verse 14.
  • 17:42 - 17:48
I would like this evening to lead you,
    bring you to verse 20.
  • 17:48 - 17:50
How many of you would like that?
  • 17:50 - 17:52
    Amen.
  • 17:53 - 17:58
    From doubting to believing,
  • 17:58 - 18:04
    from questioning
    to preaching, to moving forward,
  • 18:05 - 18:12
    to terrorize the arch terrorist,
    which is the devil.
  • 18:12 - 18:16
And this can happen in the
    power of the Holy Spirit.
  • 18:16 - 18:21
    Amen.
I would like to share with you
  • 18:21 - 18:27
some of the truths, some nuggets of truth
  • 18:28 - 18:32
that burst upon me like revelations
  • 18:33 - 18:38
and that changed my whole thinking,
    changed my ministry.
  • 18:38 - 18:41
    And I can only say
  • 18:41 - 18:47
    today, looking back,
it was the hand of Jesus lifting me
  • 18:47 - 18:57
to a harvest of a scale that was almost
    unimaginable.
  • 18:57 - 19:00
    You saw this clip here.
  • 19:00 - 19:04
Within six days in one city,
  • 19:04 - 19:10
    3.4 million people received
    Jesus as their savior.
  • 19:10 - 19:13
    Isn't that awesome?
  • 19:18 - 19:25
    Well, it surely wasn't me,
    but I had the microphone.
  • 19:26 - 19:28
And yes, I did the preaching.
  • 19:28 - 19:38
And we saw miracles sweep those meetings,
    miracles upon miracles upon miracles.
  • 19:38 - 19:43
    The power of God accompanying
the preaching of the Word of God.
  • 19:43 - 19:49
And I just would like to give you some
of those nuggets of truth, if I may.
  • 19:49 - 19:53
And I pray that they may affect
    you as they affected me.
  • 19:53 - 19:55
    Is that okay?
  • 19:55 - 19:57
    All right.
  • 19:57 - 19:59
    So be it then.
  • 19:59 - 20:01
    You know, I
  • 20:02 - 20:08
used to pray because I was taught like
that in our Church in Germany,
  • 20:08 - 20:11
    that we must always pray
    for an open heaven.
  • 20:11 - 20:14
Lord, open the windows of heaven.
  • 20:14 - 20:15
    Lord, open the windows.
  • 20:15 - 20:21
I was an expert in praying for
God to open the windows in heaven.
  • 20:21 - 20:25
Somebody had forgotten it up there.
  • 20:25 - 20:29
Lord, open the windows of heaven.
  • 20:29 - 20:30
    Wow.
  • 20:31 - 20:34
Then the Holy Spirit began to teach me.
  • 20:34 - 20:36
    He began to teach me.
  • 20:36 - 20:39
And I said, Wait a minute.
  • 20:39 - 20:45
The windows of heaven are always open.
  • 20:45 - 20:49
And I will give you the proof of it.
  • 20:49 - 20:54
    When Jesus ascended to heaven,
  • 20:54 - 21:00
I think he punched a hole
    into the heavens.
  • 21:00 - 21:03
    When he passed through
  • 21:03 - 21:12
to the father's throne and sat down at his
right side, as we read in Scripture.
  • 21:12 - 21:16
But he left that gate, that door,
  • 21:16 - 21:26
he left it open because 10 days later,
    after the ascension of Jesus,
  • 21:26 - 21:32
    the Holy Spirit had his
    Descention on Earth.
  • 21:32 - 21:39
And he passed through the same open gate.
  • 21:39 - 21:42
    Ascension, Descention.
  • 21:43 - 21:48
So the gate was still open 10 days later.
  • 21:48 - 21:51
And now I want to take you
to the Acts of the Apostles.
  • 21:51 - 21:54
    And that is very important.
  • 21:54 - 21:58
    The Acts of the Apostles
  • 21:58 - 22:08
in Acts 7, verse 55 and 56, Stephen
    became the first martyr.
  • 22:08 - 22:17
And when just before they killed him
    for his testimony,
  • 22:17 - 22:24
his face shone like that of an angel,
    Scripture says.
  • 22:25 - 22:30
And he said, I see heaven open.
  • 22:30 - 22:34
    Oh, it was still open.
  • 22:34 - 22:37
I see heaven open, he said.
  • 22:37 - 22:42
And he said, I see Jesus standing.
  • 22:42 - 22:44
    I said, Oh, what?
  • 22:44 - 22:48
I had read that Jesus sat down.
  • 22:48 - 22:54
Now, Stephen says, I see Jesus standing.
  • 22:54 - 22:55
    Yes.
  • 22:55 - 23:04
When the first Christian Martyr died,
Jesus stood up to receive him.
  • 23:04 - 23:06
    Say Amen.
  • 23:06 - 23:09
    Isn't that wonderful?
  • 23:09 - 23:16
But let's never forget, you don't
need to pray for an open heaven.
  • 23:16 - 23:19
    Heaven is always open.
  • 23:19 - 23:26
Even 2,000 years later, heaven is open.
  • 23:27 - 23:31
    Heaven remains open.
  • 23:31 - 23:33
    Let's shout it together.
  • 23:33 - 23:35
    Heaven is open.
  • 23:35 - 23:37
    Amen.
  • 23:37 - 23:39
    That affected me.
  • 23:39 - 23:42
    It affected me.
  • 23:42 - 23:48
    It affected me.
  • 23:48 - 23:51
    Unbelief is a terrible business.
  • 23:51 - 23:55
    Unbelief offends God.
  • 23:56 - 24:01
    Unbelief is very, very bad.
  • 24:02 - 24:05
I want to sound a warning
    against unbelief.
  • 24:05 - 24:06
    Can I do that quickly?
  • 24:07 - 24:16
    In 2 Kings, I need
to quickly go to 2 Kings.
  • 24:16 - 24:25
2 Kings 7, here is the finest example
    how dangerous unbelief is.
  • 24:25 - 24:32
Samaria was besieged by the Syrian army,
    and there was starvation, terrible.
  • 24:32 - 24:37
I just make it very short,
    terrible, terrible starvation.
  • 24:37 - 24:43
    Even so much that
    some ate their own children.
  • 24:43 - 24:47
    Imagine, it must have been
    absolutely catastrophic.
  • 24:47 - 24:56
And the King was just about to capitulate
when the man of God spoke up.
  • 24:57 - 24:59
The man of God spoke up.
  • 25:00 - 25:03
Elisha said, hear the word of the Lord.
  • 25:03 - 25:05
Second King 7, that says the Lord,
  • 25:05 - 25:10
    tomorrow about this time,
a sea of fine flour shall be sold
  • 25:10 - 25:16
for a shekel and two seas of ballet
for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.
  • 25:16 - 25:18
    An officer on those
  • 25:18 - 25:24
on whose hand the King leaned answered
the man of God and said, Look,
  • 25:24 - 25:28
if the Lord would make windows
in heaven, could this thing be?
  • 25:28 - 25:31
And he said, In fact, you shall see it
  • 25:31 - 25:35
    with your own eyes,
but you shall not eat it.
  • 25:35 - 25:36
    Eat of it.
  • 25:37 - 25:41
    Now, he was God's spokesman,
    the Prophet Elijah.
  • 25:41 - 25:45
He said, Tomorrow at this time,
  • 25:45 - 25:51
    there will be abundant
food in the gate of Samaria.
  • 25:51 - 25:54
    Very cheap food.
  • 25:54 - 25:55
    That was God's spokesman.
  • 25:55 - 25:59
He comes the spokesman of the government,
  • 25:59 - 26:08
the one on whom the king was leaning,
I mean, the wise s of the lot.
  • 26:08 - 26:11
    And he said, impossible.
  • 26:11 - 26:16
If God would make windows in heaven,
    this would not be possible.
  • 26:17 - 26:18
    Impossible.
  • 26:18 - 26:20
    God said it shall be.
  • 26:20 - 26:22
He said it shall not be.
  • 26:22 - 26:24
    The next day,
  • 26:24 - 26:31
the Syrian army heard a terrible noise
    of an mighty approaching army,
  • 26:31 - 26:37
and they fled, left everything behind,
including all the food they had.
  • 26:37 - 26:39
    And they had plenty.
  • 26:39 - 26:43
And there under the gate of Samaria
  • 26:43 - 26:52
was exactly the food the Prophet had
    prophesied about 24 hours before.
  • 26:52 - 26:55
And now, listen, here comes the point.
  • 26:55 - 26:57
    Here comes the point.
  • 26:57 - 27:05
The King heard about it and instructed his
wise man, on whom he was leaning,
  • 27:05 - 27:12
to go and administerate the food
distribution at the gate of Samaria.
  • 27:13 - 27:16
But God had said he would not eat of it.
  • 27:16 - 27:18
    What happened?
  • 27:18 - 27:19
    Listen now.
  • 27:21 - 27:26
That officer was trampled to death
  • 27:26 - 27:34
by people who rushed to get
what he had not believed in.
  • 27:35 - 27:38
    Do you get the point?
  • 27:38 - 27:43
    I say that again,
that officer was trampled to death
  • 27:43 - 27:53
by people who ran to get what he,
the officer, had not believed in.
  • 27:53 - 27:58
And it struck me, unbelief is dangerous.
  • 27:59 - 28:04
    I renounce unbelief
with all that is within me.
  • 28:04 - 28:08
We put our trust in God.
  • 28:08 - 28:11
Let's put our trust in Jesus.
  • 28:11 - 28:17
    Whatever he says is true.
  • 28:18 - 28:21
One reporter came to me and said,
  • 28:21 - 28:26
Does a man of faith like
    you sometimes have doubt?
  • 28:26 - 28:28
I said, Yes, I do have some doubts.
  • 28:28 - 28:30
    Sometimes.
  • 28:30 - 28:32
    The reporter was amazed.
  • 28:32 - 28:36
    He said, You have doubts?
  • 28:36 - 28:38
    Oh, yes, I said.
  • 28:38 - 28:39
    She said, What doubts?
  • 28:39 - 28:40
    Cannot be.
  • 28:40 - 28:45
Oh, I said, I have got
    doubts about doubts.
  • 28:48 - 28:52
Why have we always to doubt the truth?
  • 28:52 - 28:56
Why can't we doubt the lie of the devil?
  • 28:58 - 29:08
And I have decided to doubt my doubts
and I have decided to trust my Jesus.
  • 29:08 - 29:09
    Amen.
  • 29:09 - 29:12
    Away with doubt.
  • 29:12 - 29:13
    And here we are.
  • 29:13 - 29:17
    America will be saved.
  • 29:17 - 29:21
    America will be saved.
  • 29:21 - 29:31
And you will see it and you
will have a part in it.
  • 29:31 - 29:33
    Hallelujah.
  • 29:34 - 29:38
We will have a part in it.
  • 29:38 - 29:40
    Are you blessed?
  • 29:40 - 29:42
    Yes.
    Hallelujah.
  • 29:42 - 29:43
    Glory to God.
  • 29:43 - 29:45
    Glory to God.
  • 29:45 - 29:50
    Glory to God.
  • 29:50 - 29:55
    Some people always major
    on the negative things.
  • 29:57 - 30:00
Always major on the negative things.
  • 30:00 - 30:03
I never forget I arrived here somewhere
  • 30:03 - 30:09
in America, I don't want to say where,
    for a television show.
  • 30:09 - 30:11
My plane was late and I came late
  • 30:11 - 30:15
and the show had already started
and I thought, Oh, what now?
  • 30:15 - 30:19
I came in and they still wanted me on it.
  • 30:19 - 30:22
When I came onto the panel there,
  • 30:22 - 30:27
    the moderator said, Oh,
    here comes Reiner Bahnke.
  • 30:27 - 30:30
We are dealing here with a big theological
  • 30:30 - 30:35
    problem, and Reiner will
    solve it all tonight.
  • 30:35 - 30:39
    My heart sunk.
  • 30:40 - 30:44
    And then they
spread out the whole theological problem.
  • 30:44 - 30:50
    I only understood about 75 %.
  • 30:51 - 30:54
    And then he said, Now,
    Reiner, what do you say?
  • 30:54 - 30:55
    What do you say?
  • 30:55 - 30:58
I said, To me, it's very simple.
  • 30:58 - 31:05
    Don't forget, I'm an evangelist and I'm
in the business of breaking chains.
  • 31:05 - 31:12
And when the last chain is broken,
then I'm starting to split hair.
  • 31:13 - 31:16
    Let's stop splitting hair.
  • 31:16 - 31:19
These are things that don't matter.
  • 31:19 - 31:24
Let's break the chains in Jesus' name.
  • 31:24 - 31:28
The chains that Satan has brought
  • 31:28 - 31:33
and found so many people with,
    they need to be broken.
  • 31:33 - 31:36
And the preaching of the gospel,
  • 31:36 - 31:41
    the preaching of the gospel
is the sword of the Spirit.
  • 31:41 - 31:43
    Hallelujah.
  • 31:43 - 31:46
Gold and silver I don't have,
  • 31:46 - 31:51
    but such as I have,
I give unto you in the name of Jesus.
  • 31:51 - 31:53
    Rise up and walk.
  • 31:53 - 31:55
    Rise up and preach.
  • 31:55 - 32:00
    Rise up and hear.
  • 32:00 - 32:02
    Amen.
  • 32:02 - 32:05
    Hallelujah.
    All right.
  • 32:05 - 32:06
    So, unbelief is dangerous.
  • 32:07 - 32:08
    Let's all say it together.
  • 32:08 - 32:09
    Unbelief is dangerous.
  • 32:09 - 32:13
    Always dangerous.
  • 32:14 - 32:16
    Thank you.
  • 32:16 - 32:20
The next revelation bursting of meat.
  • 32:20 - 32:22
    This all affected me.
  • 32:22 - 32:23
    Don't forget that.
  • 32:23 - 32:27
They affected me and changed me.
  • 32:27 - 32:38
It's for instance, the third one was
that I was taught when we go to Church,
  • 32:38 - 32:43
we must always pray, dear Lord Jesus,
    please come into our midst.
  • 32:43 - 32:45
    Come into our midst.
  • 32:45 - 32:48
    Oh, I prayed so much.
  • 32:48 - 32:50
Lord Jesus, please come into our midst.
  • 32:50 - 32:52
    Come, please.
  • 32:52 - 32:53
    Please.
  • 32:53 - 32:56
    Why don't you come?
  • 32:56 - 32:58
    Come.
  • 32:59 - 33:02
Half my life I prayed like that.
  • 33:06 - 33:12
One day I read Matthew 28,
  • 33:13 - 33:19
    verse 20, and I gasped.
  • 33:19 - 33:21
    The Holy Spirit was there.
  • 33:21 - 33:23
    He taught me something.
  • 33:23 - 33:29
Jesus said, I am with you always.
  • 33:32 - 33:36
I thought by myself, Wait a minute.
  • 33:36 - 33:41
Only somebody not right in his mind
  • 33:41 - 33:48
    is begging somebody to come
    who never leaves you.
  • 33:54 - 33:57
    He never leaves us.
  • 33:57 - 34:00
    I am with you always.
  • 34:00 - 34:04
    How long is always?
  • 34:04 - 34:06
    Forever.
  • 34:06 - 34:08
    Hallelujah.
  • 34:08 - 34:11
    I am with you always.
  • 34:11 - 34:14
I said, Jesus, I want to thank you.
  • 34:14 - 34:19
You are with me even when
    I don't feel like it.
  • 34:19 - 34:22
    You are with me always.
  • 34:22 - 34:27
That changed everything in my life.
  • 34:27 - 34:34
Half of the hymns I could no more sing,
    but it didn't matter.
  • 34:37 - 34:40
That is the Christian's only certainty
  • 34:40 - 34:45
    that so many Christians
    are not certain about.
  • 34:45 - 34:50
That Jesus is with us always.
  • 34:50 - 34:51
    Hallelujah.
  • 34:51 - 34:56
Glory to God in the highest.
    He's with me.
  • 34:56 - 34:58
    He's with me.
  • 35:02 - 35:05
    I heard somebody tell how
  • 35:08 - 35:14
he was in a crusade, and then
he was to mount the platform to preach.
  • 35:14 - 35:18
He wouldn't come up the platform because
  • 35:18 - 35:24
    he said he couldn't feel
    the presence of Jesus.
  • 35:24 - 35:25
    He couldn't feel it.
  • 35:25 - 35:32
And he stood there crying tears saying,
    Lord, be with me.
  • 35:32 - 35:33
    I can't go up.
  • 35:33 - 35:37
I don't feel you are with me.
  • 35:37 - 35:39
    Lord.
  • 35:39 - 35:45
    I respect that preacher,
but I don't agree with him.
  • 35:45 - 35:49
    You know what struck me?
  • 35:50 - 35:54
    Jesus is not a commodity.
  • 35:54 - 35:58
    He is a personality.
  • 35:59 - 36:04
He is a personality like you,
    like you and like me.
  • 36:04 - 36:10
And no personality appears in percentages.
  • 36:13 - 36:15
    You are here fully.
  • 36:15 - 36:24
I am here fully, and so is Jesus.
  • 36:24 - 36:27
    Fullyly.
  • 36:27 - 36:30
    That got me going.
  • 36:30 - 36:34
I tell you, it spun me,
  • 36:34 - 36:41
it stopped me, it spun me around, and it
  • 36:41 - 36:46
turned me and I moved in a new direction.
  • 36:46 - 36:50
    Jesus is with me always.
  • 36:50 - 36:55
And if I don't feel his presence,
  • 36:55 - 37:01
then I know my feelings are lying
  • 37:03 - 37:08
because the word of God says the opposite.
  • 37:08 - 37:10
    Hallelujah.
  • 37:10 - 37:12
The word of God states it.
  • 37:12 - 37:16
And if I don't feel him,
    I sometimes have it.
  • 37:16 - 37:21
When I'm in Africa, I tell you,
when I had to preach and I was glowing
  • 37:21 - 37:27
    with fever, with malaria,
    I didn't feel Jesus exactly.
  • 37:27 - 37:30
    You know what I mean?
  • 37:31 - 37:36
    I took the microphone
and I put it away and I said, Lord Jesus,
  • 37:36 - 37:43
I don't feel you right now,
but I appropriate your presence by faith.
  • 37:43 - 37:49
T hen I preached and I tell you,
people got saved in huge numbers
  • 37:49 - 37:55
and the sick got healed and the lame
    walked and the blind saw.
  • 37:55 - 37:58
    Jesus is with us.
  • 37:58 - 38:00
    Hallelujah.
  • 38:01 - 38:06
May it affect you as it affected me.
  • 38:06 - 38:12
This is the cry of my heart and my desire.
  • 38:12 - 38:15
    Indeed, hallelujah.
  • 38:15 - 38:20
    Jesus is always with us.
    Amen.
  • 38:20 - 38:24
    Amen.
Can I string up another pearl?
  • 38:26 - 38:29
    This is dynamite too.
  • 38:29 - 38:33
    My goodness, this is dynamite.
  • 38:34 - 38:41
I'll tell you what, I've written a book
called Faith, the Link with God's Power.
  • 38:41 - 38:46
    I see it's not here,
but Faith, the Link with God's Power,
  • 38:47 - 38:52
where I really elaborate in great
    detail on all these things.
  • 38:52 - 38:57
That is the truth I wrote down,
    which really changed me.
  • 38:57 - 39:00
And it will bless you mightily.
  • 39:00 - 39:04
    It will bless you mightily.
  • 39:04 - 39:05
    Amen?
  • 39:05 - 39:13
Now, James, I need to go to James quickly
    because there's another wonderful truth.
  • 39:13 - 39:17
    Jesus, I would say, is
  • 39:17 - 39:25
always at the peak of his power.
  • 39:25 - 39:30
Always at the peak of his power.
  • 39:30 - 39:34
I will prove that to you from Scripture.
  • 39:34 - 39:40
James 1, verse 17, Every good gift
  • 39:40 - 39:49
and every perfect gift is from above
and comes down from the father of lights
  • 39:49 - 39:57
with whom there is no variation of shadow
  • 39:57 - 40:04
of turning, nor shadow of turning.
  • 40:04 - 40:09
The father of lights, perfect gift,
  • 40:09 - 40:15
no variation, nor shadow of turning.
  • 40:15 - 40:18
And one day I was meditating over it.
  • 40:18 - 40:24
    I said, Holy Spirit,
    you caused this to write.
  • 40:24 - 40:26
    Explain it to me.
  • 40:26 - 40:32
What does it mean no shadow of turning?
  • 40:33 - 40:36
    Suddenly I saw it.
  • 40:36 - 40:38
    Do you want to know?
  • 40:39 - 40:42
You know, in those ancient days,
  • 40:42 - 40:46
    the people didn't have
    watches as we have now.
  • 40:47 - 40:51
    They had something what
    they called sun dials.
  • 40:51 - 40:54
And the primitive sun dial was
  • 40:54 - 41:00
just a circle on the ground
and a stick in the middle.
  • 41:00 - 41:03
And when the sun rose in the morning,
  • 41:03 - 41:08
    that stick through a shadow
    across the circle.
  • 41:09 - 41:13
And as the sun was climbing into the sky,
  • 41:13 - 41:20
the angle of the light changed
    and the shadow kept turning.
  • 41:20 - 41:24
    And by the turning shadow,
the people could read the time.
  • 41:24 - 41:32
But at one point in the day,
  • 41:32 - 41:36
there was no shadow in the circle.
  • 41:36 - 41:39
    And you know why?
  • 41:39 - 41:45
Because the sun was in its meridian.
  • 41:45 - 41:50
The sun was smack above that stick,
  • 41:50 - 41:59
and the stick could not throw a shadow
because the sun was in its peak position.
  • 41:59 - 42:08
    That is how the earthly
    son is rising and setting.
  • 42:08 - 42:14
Now, hear the word of the Lord.
  • 42:14 - 42:21
    God is the son
of all sons, the son eternal.
  • 42:21 - 42:24
I've got good news for you.
  • 42:24 - 42:31
He doesn't rise in the morning
    to sit at night.
  • 42:31 - 42:38
    With him, no shadow turns.
  • 42:38 - 42:45
He is always at the peak of his position.
  • 42:47 - 42:52
He is always at the peak of his power.
  • 42:52 - 42:58
    Nobody here will ever
    catch a piece of shadow.
  • 42:58 - 43:03
The Lord has put a circle around us all.
  • 43:03 - 43:11
And we are in the full blast of his glory,
of his power, of his presence.
  • 43:11 - 43:16
Like the first disciples and Apostles
  • 43:16 - 43:21
    were, like the Apostle Paul,
there is no shadow of turning.
  • 43:21 - 43:24
We are walking in the light of God.
  • 43:24 - 43:31
Jesus is the light of the world and is
always at the peak of the of his
  • 43:31 - 43:36
    willingness to save the lost
    and to heal the sick.
  • 43:36 - 43:39
    Hallelujah.
  • 43:42 - 43:44
    Isn't that wonderful?
  • 43:44 - 43:47
    Isn't that wonderful?
  • 43:47 - 43:50
    Oh, Hallelujah.
  • 43:50 - 43:52
    Oh, Hallelujah.
  • 43:53 - 44:02
The Lord took me by the hand
from verse 14 to verse 20, long ago.
  • 44:03 - 44:12
I remember when I started off with our
crusades, I had another preacher with me.
  • 44:12 - 44:18
He was praying for the sick, and I was, I
had I was preaching the gospel.
  • 44:18 - 44:20
    He was an African.
  • 44:20 - 44:24
I, of course, was a German.
  • 44:25 - 44:33
Then we had announced the crusade there
in a place called Bush Park Ridge,
  • 44:33 - 44:39
very close to the Kroeger National Park
    in South Africa.
  • 44:39 - 44:45
He was to come by train, and then we
were to go by car to Bush Park Ridge.
  • 44:47 - 44:49
    But he never came.
  • 44:50 - 44:53
    He never, ever came again.
  • 44:53 - 44:55
    I waited for that train.
  • 44:55 - 44:59
I waited for the next train,
and I waited for the third train.
  • 44:59 - 45:01
    Then I started to pray.
  • 45:01 - 45:05
I said, Lord, when is Richard coming?
  • 45:05 - 45:08
The Lord said, He's not coming.
  • 45:08 - 45:10
    I said, Oh, my God.
  • 45:11 - 45:12
    Oh, my God.
  • 45:12 - 45:16
Who's going to pray for this pig?
  • 45:21 - 45:27
The Lord said to me, I am with you.
  • 45:28 - 45:31
    Yes, that's good enough, Lord.
  • 45:31 - 45:33
    You are with me.
  • 45:33 - 45:35
    Jesus is with me.
  • 45:35 - 45:42
I got into my car and I drove those
six hours to Bush back Ridge.
  • 45:42 - 45:47
T here, the people were waiting for my...
  • 45:47 - 45:52
For Richard, more than for Reiner.
  • 45:53 - 45:58
    I told them I've got
    bad news and good news.
  • 46:00 - 46:02
The bad news is, Richard didn't come.
  • 46:02 - 46:07
The good news is, Jesus did.
  • 46:12 - 46:17
I said, And I will preach and
I will pray for the sick.
  • 46:17 - 46:20
I preached, made an altar call.
  • 46:20 - 46:24
And then the Lord said to me,
Pray for the totally blind people here.
  • 46:24 - 46:28
    I said, How many blind
    people have we got here?
  • 46:29 - 46:35
    A whole row came forward,
    well, led forward.
  • 46:35 - 46:38
I said, I lined them up in front of me.
  • 46:38 - 46:41
I think they were about 20.
  • 46:42 - 46:46
I said, I'm going to come and lay
    my head, close your eyes.
  • 46:46 - 46:50
I lay my fingers on your blind eyes
  • 46:50 - 46:53
and I'm going to pray for you
    in the name of Jesus.
  • 46:53 - 46:59
    But keep your eyes shut
until I tell you to open them.
  • 46:59 - 47:04
I laid my hands on them,
my fingers on all those dead eyes.
  • 47:04 - 47:07
    And then I stepped back.
  • 47:07 - 47:14
I said, Now, in the name
    of Jesus, open your eyes.
  • 47:14 - 47:23
    And suddenly, a young man
about 20 years old, I can see.
  • 47:23 - 47:24
    I can see.
  • 47:24 - 47:26
    I can see.
  • 47:26 - 47:31
    And others, oh, Hallelujah.
  • 47:32 - 47:38
I made up my mind that day I
don't want to depend on people.
  • 47:38 - 47:42
I want to depend on Jesus.
  • 47:44 - 47:51
    Because Jesus never fails
and Jesus is with us always.
  • 47:51 - 47:53
    Don't forget that.
  • 47:53 - 47:58
No matter what the situation, no matter
    what condition, it doesn't matter.
  • 47:58 - 48:02
    Jesus never fails. never fails.
  • 48:02 - 48:04
    Amen.
  • 48:04 - 48:06
    Are you blessed?
  • 48:08 - 48:12
Oh, may that sink into our hearts.
  • 48:13 - 48:15
    This always, always always.
  • 48:15 - 48:21
    There's always, always, always,
    there's no need to question.
  • 48:21 - 48:27
And if there's no need to question,
    there's no opportunity to doubt.
  • 48:27 - 48:30
I take the word of God at face value.
    Why?
  • 48:30 - 48:35
Because the word of God is
the constitution of the Kingdom of God.
  • 48:37 - 48:41
And no two thirds majority of any
    Parliament on earth
  • 48:41 - 48:47
    can change that constitution because
it is settled in heaven forever.
  • 48:47 - 48:49
    That's how sure it is.
  • 48:49 - 48:51
    Hallelujah.
  • 48:54 - 49:00
From verse 14 to verse 20.
  • 49:00 - 49:08
And of course, between those two verses,
as I already said, was Acts 2.
  • 49:10 - 49:12
    Wow, I love that chapter.
  • 49:12 - 49:14
Actually, I don't need to turn to it.
  • 49:14 - 49:16
    I know it by heart.
  • 49:16 - 49:22
    Believe me,
when the day of Pentecost had fully come,
  • 49:22 - 49:26
    they were all with one
    accord in one place.
  • 49:26 - 49:27
    I love every word here.
  • 49:27 - 49:30
I could preach on every word if I had to.
  • 49:30 - 49:35
And suddenly there came a sound
from heaven as of a rushing, mighty wind,
  • 49:35 - 49:37
and it filled the whole house
    where they were sitting.
  • 49:37 - 49:41
    Then they appeared to them,
    divided tongues of fire.
  • 49:41 - 49:43
And one sat upon each of them.
  • 49:43 - 49:47
    And they were all filled
with the Holy Spirit and began to speak
  • 49:47 - 49:51
    with other tongues as
    the Spirit gave them utterance.
  • 49:51 - 49:54
    It's Bible.
  • 49:54 - 49:56
    It's Bible.
  • 49:56 - 50:00
    It's Bible.
  • 50:00 - 50:04
Jesus said, You shall receive power.
  • 50:04 - 50:06
He said that in Acts 1.
  • 50:06 - 50:12
In Acts 2, we read what type of power?
  • 50:12 - 50:14
    Firepower.
  • 50:17 - 50:19
    I like that.
  • 50:19 - 50:21
    That's my Bible.
  • 50:21 - 50:23
    Firepower.
  • 50:24 - 50:28
He's the captain of our salvation.
  • 50:28 - 50:31
    He gives us firepower.
  • 50:33 - 50:37
Bless it be the name of the Lord.
  • 50:37 - 50:38
    Hallelujah.
  • 50:41 - 50:43
    Firepower.
  • 50:43 - 50:49
I would like to give you one little
    Old Testament, another pearl.
  • 50:49 - 50:51
    Is that okay?
  • 50:51 - 51:00
Because it highlights a New Testament
    truth that will amaze you.
  • 51:00 - 51:03
And you may have never thought of it.
  • 51:03 - 51:07
But the Holy Spirit showed it to me.
  • 51:10 - 51:15
I've written about it also in my book
    called evangelism by fire.
  • 51:17 - 51:25
That book I have written, I can tell you,
I've written with a hot pen
  • 51:26 - 51:32
because the Holy Spirit dictated it
and it's my whole heart in it.
  • 51:32 - 51:38
If you want a ministry that
I have of evangelism, that is the way.
  • 51:38 - 51:42
    It's not stories, it's scripture.
  • 51:42 - 51:43
    But I tell you,
  • 51:43 - 51:49
it's the word of God that is quick
and sharper than any two edged sword.
  • 51:49 - 51:51
    Amen.
  • 51:51 - 51:57
I want to turn quickly with you just
for a minute or two to Judges Chapter 15.
  • 51:57 - 51:59
    It's the story of something.
  • 51:59 - 52:03
    Let me quickly give you
    the context very quickly.
  • 52:03 - 52:09
    Samson had married a wife,
    a Philistine wife.
  • 52:09 - 52:14
I want you to please remember
    that that was Old Testament.
  • 52:14 - 52:19
It doesn't fit so well into our
    today's societies.
  • 52:19 - 52:22
    I am aware of that.
  • 52:22 - 52:27
    So he had married
    a beautiful Philistine wife.
  • 52:27 - 52:28
    Then he had to go.
  • 52:28 - 52:32
And when he came back after a few months,
  • 52:32 - 52:40
he wanted to kiss his wife and her father,
his father in law, stepped in and said,
  • 52:40 - 52:44
    Oh, Thompson,
I didn't know you would come back.
  • 52:44 - 52:48
I gave your wife to another man.
  • 52:48 - 52:52
Now, who wouldn't be as mad as a snake?
  • 52:52 - 52:55
If your father in law did that to you?
  • 52:55 - 52:56
    What?
  • 52:56 - 53:01
He has given my wife away to another man?
  • 53:02 - 53:04
    Samson was mad
  • 53:05 - 53:11
and he did something terrible, but it
also is a picture that I want to use.
  • 53:12 - 53:17
The Bible says he caught 300 foxes.
  • 53:17 - 53:19
Now, that is miracle number one.
  • 53:19 - 53:23
If you don't believe it, try to catch one.
  • 53:24 - 53:28
    He caught 300 foxes.
  • 53:28 - 53:34
And then he went to the fields
    of the Philistines.
  • 53:34 - 53:41
He took the foxes, the Bible says,
and bound them tail to tail.
  • 53:41 - 53:45
And because if every fox has just one tail
  • 53:45 - 53:51
    each, he must have bound
    them together two by two.
  • 53:51 - 53:53
And then he did this cruel thing.
  • 53:53 - 53:58
He lit those tails and sent those
  • 53:58 - 54:03
    foxes into the ripe harvest
    fields of the Philistines.
  • 54:03 - 54:05
    And then he watched.
  • 54:05 - 54:09
He could exactly see where the foxes were
  • 54:09 - 54:14
running because wherever the foxes were
  • 54:14 - 54:20
    running, trails of fire appeared.
  • 54:20 - 54:27
    Now, allow me,
I also read in the New Testament
  • 54:27 - 54:34
    that Jesus took his disciples
and sent them out two by two.
  • 54:35 - 54:37
    He bound two together.
  • 54:37 - 54:43
I think sometimes it must have
    been couples, husbands and wives.
  • 54:43 - 54:48
And then he did something similar.
  • 54:48 - 54:50
    He did something wonderful.
  • 54:50 - 54:53
We read of that in Luke.
  • 54:53 - 54:56
In Luke, we can read of that.
  • 54:56 - 54:59
    Luke 12, verse 49.
  • 54:59 - 55:03
Jesus says, I have come to throw...
  • 55:03 - 55:13
My German translation says Jesus said,
I've come to throw fire on earth.
  • 55:13 - 55:18
How much I wished it was already burning.
  • 55:18 - 55:28
He joined his disciples together, two
by two, and then set them alight
  • 55:28 - 55:35
with the fire of the Holy Spirit
    and then sent them out.
  • 55:35 - 55:39
    Now, the fire of Jesus
  • 55:39 - 55:45
is different to earthly fire because it
  • 55:45 - 55:50
will burn, but it will not consume you.
  • 55:50 - 55:55
    Remember the fire of God
    and the bush of Moses?
  • 55:55 - 55:59
    It burned the bush,
but it did not consume it.
  • 55:59 - 56:04
    I don't want to become
    an ash heap for Jesus.
  • 56:04 - 56:11
No, his fire I will carry
to the last day of my life.
  • 56:11 - 56:18
And wherever he sends me, Hallelujah,
he has come to throw fire on the earth.
  • 56:18 - 56:24
What of becoming a burning fox for Jesus?
  • 56:24 - 56:26
    What do you say?
  • 56:26 - 56:28
    Hallelujah.
  • 56:28 - 56:32
Now, my real point is this.
  • 56:32 - 56:36
Listen, my real point is this.
  • 56:36 - 56:40
I asked myself, what if Thompson had
  • 56:40 - 56:48
forgotten to light the tail of the foxes?
  • 56:48 - 56:52
    Tell me,
if he had forgotten to light the tales,
  • 56:52 - 56:56
    what would have happened
    to the harvest fields?
  • 56:57 - 56:58
    Shout.
  • 56:59 - 57:00
    Nothing.
  • 57:00 - 57:02
    Nothing.
  • 57:02 - 57:11
You see, when we work for Jesus,
without the fire of the Holy Spirit,
  • 57:12 - 57:23
we will work our fingers to the bone and
    it will be worth nothing.
  • 57:24 - 57:31
The fire of the Holy Spirit is
    the key to effective Ministry.
  • 57:31 - 57:33
    Hallelujah.
  • 57:34 - 57:37
    I've never forgotten that.
  • 57:37 - 57:40
I always said, Lord, your fire, your fire.
  • 57:40 - 57:45
I want to move with your fire
in the mighty name of Jesus.
  • 57:46 - 57:51
I want to move in that fire
    in the name of Jesus.
  • 57:51 - 57:53
    Hallelujah.
  • 57:53 - 58:03
I was preaching in a church and suddenly
a certain gentleman came to me.
  • 58:03 - 58:04
    It was in Germany.
  • 58:04 - 58:07
    This gentleman came to me
    and I looked at him.
  • 58:08 - 58:11
I thought, Wow, this man is sick.
  • 58:13 - 58:17
He said to me, May I
    please speak with you?
  • 58:17 - 58:18
    I said, Yes.
  • 58:19 - 58:28
He said to me, I'm a pastor, he said.
  • 58:28 - 58:34
I can no more carry the weight
    of my church.
  • 58:34 - 58:37
It is too heavy for me.
  • 58:37 - 58:44
He said, I am burned out.
  • 58:44 - 58:46
    I am burned out.
  • 58:46 - 58:48
    I can no more carry
    the weight of my church.
  • 58:48 - 58:49
    I am burned out.
  • 58:49 - 58:51
    Can you help me?
  • 58:53 - 58:55
I said to him, Yes, sit down.
  • 58:55 - 59:02
One question, Pastor, I said, have
you been filled with the Holy Spirit?
  • 59:03 - 59:09
    He said, My denomination
    does not believe in it.
  • 59:12 - 59:14
Then I tried to figure out,
  • 59:14 - 59:19
I only had half a minute to figure
out something I couldn't figure out.
  • 59:19 - 59:24
He said he suffered from a burnout,
    and I thought by myself,
  • 59:24 - 59:31
How can somebody burn out who has
lived his whole life in a fridge?
  • 59:34 - 59:40
He can suffer a freeze out,
    but not a burnout.
  • 59:41 - 59:42
    But I said nothing.
  • 59:42 - 59:43
    I said nothing.
  • 59:43 - 59:47
I began to explain to him the glorious
  • 59:47 - 59:54
    fire baptism and fire power
that Jesus has come to give to us.
  • 59:54 - 59:58
And shall I tell you how
    that pastor went home?
  • 59:58 - 60:07
He didn't drive home, he swam home
    in a river of fire.
  • 60:07 - 60:09
    Hallelujah.
  • 60:09 - 60:17
I pray that we may all swim home
in a river of fire in the name of Jesus.
  • 60:17 - 60:24
Come out of the fridge and get
    your temperature right.
  • 60:24 - 60:25
    Amen.
  • 60:25 - 60:26
    Hallelujah.
  • 60:27 - 60:36
Glory to God in the highest. Glory
    to God in the highest.
  • 60:36 - 60:39
    I've got another experience.
  • 60:39 - 60:47
I was asked to speak to a group of people,
    and I did.
  • 60:54 - 60:59
    Suddenly,
    after the way was prepared,
  • 60:59 - 61:05
I felt the Holy Spirit was present
and I thought he would just about fall.
  • 61:05 - 61:07
    And he did.
  • 61:07 - 61:10
    And the Holy Spirit fell
    and the people were shouting.
  • 61:10 - 61:14
Oh, they were shouting and praising God.
  • 61:14 - 61:19
All of them except for two.
  • 61:19 - 61:25
They were sitting right in the middle
and they were as cool as cucumbersbers.
  • 61:26 - 61:32
    Everybody shouted and praised
God and speaking in new tongues.
  • 61:32 - 61:36
    And there they sat.
  • 61:38 - 61:44
    I tried to figure out,
I said, how is that possible?
  • 61:44 - 61:48
And then I got the answer.
  • 61:48 - 61:55
Since that day, I call such
    people as best as Christians.
  • 61:55 - 61:58
    They are fireproof.
  • 62:02 - 62:05
Well, I want to tell you what I am.
  • 62:05 - 62:10
    I am flammable for God.
  • 62:13 - 62:20
    Are you flammable for God?
  • 62:20 - 62:25
Shout, I am flammable for Jesus.
  • 62:26 - 62:35
Oh, Holy Spirit, fall upon us all
    in Jesus' mighty name.
  • 62:35 - 62:41
    In Jesus' mighty name, hallelujah.
  • 62:41 - 62:46
    America will be saved.
  • 62:46 - 62:51
That fire makes us stop at nothing.
  • 62:52 - 62:55
    Nothing.
    Absolutely nothing.
  • 62:58 - 63:00
I hear so many people say, Oh, America,
  • 63:00 - 63:04
such in such a bad state
    in such a bad state.
  • 63:04 - 63:08
I don't agree with them at all.
  • 63:08 - 63:11
    And I'll tell you why.
  • 63:11 - 63:20
Somewhere in the Bible, I have read
that today is the day of salvation.
  • 63:23 - 63:28
    It doesn't say this day
    is the day of damnation.
  • 63:28 - 63:34
So shut up, all of you
    who are damning America.
  • 63:34 - 63:39
This is the day of salvation.
  • 63:39 - 63:43
    There will never be
    a better day than today.
  • 63:43 - 63:46
    Don't forget that.
  • 63:46 - 63:50
And when the night is darkest,
  • 63:50 - 64:00
the light is brightest, and all darkness
in the world cannot kill a little candle.
  • 64:00 - 64:09
Here we come with the fire power
of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' mighty name.
  • 64:09 - 64:12
    Are you happy?
  • 64:14 - 64:16
    Hallelujah.
  • 64:16 - 64:19
    Oh, Hallelujah.
  • 64:19 - 64:24
Listen quickly back to Acts 2.
    Quickly, quickly.
  • 64:24 - 64:25
    All right?
  • 64:27 - 64:30
Shall I close or can I continue?
  • 64:30 - 64:34
You are the best of the best.
  • 64:34 - 64:39
You are a precious paradise here.
  • 64:41 - 64:45
    Listen, listen to this.
  • 64:49 - 64:52
S uddenly there came a sound
    from heaven and so on.
  • 64:52 - 65:00
Then in verse 3, Then they appeared
to them, divided tongues as of fire.
  • 65:00 - 65:02
    Here it is.
  • 65:02 - 65:08
And one sat upon each of them.
    Each, each.
  • 65:08 - 65:11
    I like the word each.
  • 65:12 - 65:15
    It speaks volumes.
  • 65:16 - 65:17
    Each.
  • 65:17 - 65:20
    There were 120 people.
  • 65:21 - 65:25
Somebody in heaven had counted the heads
  • 65:27 - 65:34
    and they prepared one
    flame for every head.
  • 65:41 - 65:46
    I feel sorry for people
    who haven't got a head.
  • 65:47 - 65:50
Yeah, there are some headless ones.
  • 65:51 - 65:59
But if you have a head, Jesus has a flame.
  • 66:03 - 66:09
I want you to shout, I claim my flame.
  • 66:10 - 66:13
    I desire the fire.
  • 66:13 - 66:20
I desire the fire. It will fall.
  • 66:20 - 66:22
    Hallelujah.
  • 66:23 - 66:30
A flame for each head, for every head.
  • 66:30 - 66:33
I believe that is what is
    just about to happen here.
  • 66:33 - 66:36
It's just about to happen here.
  • 66:36 - 66:39
And here I feel in my
  • 66:42 - 66:47
spirit, I feel in my spirit, here are some
  • 66:49 - 66:52
that are going to take Reiner Bunker's
  • 66:52 - 67:02
    baton or my microphone.
  • 67:06 - 67:08
    Who wants my microphone?
  • 67:10 - 67:13
    Oh, Hallelujah.
  • 67:13 - 67:18
The problem is I can't give it
to you because it's not mine.
  • 67:20 - 67:25
But the Holy Spirit will give you
    something better than the microphone.
  • 67:25 - 67:32
    A flame in Jesus' name.
  • 67:32 - 67:34
    Hallelujah.
  • 67:36 - 67:39
    I was giving a teaching
  • 67:39 - 67:45
on the fire of the Holy Spirit
in a church, and they recorded it.
  • 67:45 - 67:51
At the same time, it just crossed my mind,
that story that what I experienced.
  • 67:51 - 67:57
    They translated me simultaneously
    into 12 languages for recording.
  • 67:57 - 68:00
Here I stood and there were 12 boots.
  • 68:00 - 68:02
    They all had glass doors.
  • 68:02 - 68:04
    They all had glass doors.
  • 68:04 - 68:08
    And I'm an animated preacher.
  • 68:08 - 68:14
In Germany, they say when Reiner preaches,
he looks like a Dutch windmill.
  • 68:19 - 68:21
    There they were.
  • 68:22 - 68:26
    They were translating and I
    was preaching, preaching.
  • 68:26 - 68:27
    They were translating.
  • 68:27 - 68:30
When I did this, they did this.
  • 68:31 - 68:34
When I spoke about the flame
on the head, I did this.
  • 68:36 - 68:38
    They all did this.
  • 68:40 - 68:42
    Oh, I liked it.
  • 68:43 - 68:46
And then I had a fantastic idea.
  • 68:50 - 68:57
If you say goodbye to someone
in America, what do you do?
  • 68:58 - 69:00
    How do you do it?
  • 69:00 - 69:02
    This?
    What does it mean?
  • 69:02 - 69:05
Go left, go right, but never straight?
  • 69:06 - 69:08
    I'm kidding.
  • 69:08 - 69:12
In Germany, when we say goodbye, do this.
  • 69:14 - 69:15
    Push off.
  • 69:18 - 69:28
I thought, Wow, why can't we, we fire
    Christians, say goodbye like this.
  • 69:28 - 69:31
    Bye, bye.
  • 69:32 - 69:34
    Where are you going?
  • 69:34 - 69:40
    I'm going to New Orleans
    to cast out devils.
  • 69:42 - 69:45
    Bye, bye.
    Where are you going?
  • 69:45 - 69:50
    I'm going to New York
    to preach the gospel.
  • 69:50 - 69:52
    Hallelujah.
  • 69:52 - 69:57
A flame on every head in Jesus' name.
  • 69:57 - 70:05
Claim your flame in Jesus' name.
  • 70:06 - 70:08
    Hallelujah.
    Hallelujah.
  • 70:08 - 70:09
    Hallelujah.
  • 70:09 - 70:11
    Hallelujah.
  • 70:16 - 70:18
    Are you happy?
  • 70:18 - 70:23
If you don't enjoy my preaching,
    I enjoy it myself.
  • 70:26 - 70:28
    Oh, Hallelujah.
  • 70:28 - 70:32
Glory to God in the highest.
  • 70:32 - 70:36
This Jesus I want to follow.
  • 70:36 - 70:39
    Him I want to serve.
  • 70:40 - 70:45
My mortal hands, I always feel
    my mortal hands...
  • 70:45 - 70:50
    Look at them.
They are so ordinary and they are mortal.
  • 70:50 - 70:55
    But my mortal hands
    built God's eternal kingdom.
  • 70:56 - 70:59
    You know what architects build?
  • 70:59 - 71:01
    Thank God for the architects.
  • 71:01 - 71:05
But it all one day will turn to ashes.
  • 71:05 - 71:08
But what you build with your mortal hands
  • 71:08 - 71:14
in the name of Jesus means
    you build this eternal kingdom.
  • 71:15 - 71:21
My mortal lips preach the eternal gospel.
  • 71:21 - 71:24
That is the highest form of life.
  • 71:24 - 71:27
I want to challenge all of you.
  • 71:28 - 71:36
    Dedicate yourself to Jesus
    totally, completely, radically.
  • 71:37 - 71:43
And if you do it, he will make you.
  • 71:43 - 71:46
He says, I will make you.
  • 71:46 - 71:49
It's not a university that will make you.
  • 71:49 - 71:53
It's not a theology that will make you.
  • 71:53 - 71:56
Jesus says, I will make you.
  • 71:56 - 72:00
    Fishes of man.
  • 72:00 - 72:02
    Hallelujah.
  • 72:02 - 72:06
He is the maker of his
    men and of his women.
  • 72:06 - 72:10
    I will make you.
  • 72:11 - 72:14
    He will make you.
  • 72:15 - 72:20
    I honestly want to repeat
    it one more time.
  • 72:20 - 72:24
    Here are some people,
  • 72:24 - 72:34
some men, young or old, I don't care,
and women, young old, I don't mind.
  • 72:35 - 72:43
    Here are some of you
that God will use to shape nations.
  • 72:47 - 72:49
    Hallelujah.
  • 72:51 - 72:55
    America will be saved.
  • 72:56 - 73:00
Last year, let me quickly still
tell you what happened to me.
  • 73:00 - 73:07
Last year, I live in a small little town
    in Florida called Verro Beach.
  • 73:07 - 73:10
    It has got 14,000 inhabitants.
  • 73:10 - 73:13
    It's a sleepy little place.
  • 73:14 - 73:18
    One for 14,000.
  • 73:20 - 73:21
And the Lord spoke to me.
  • 73:21 - 73:28
    He said to me,
I did not just send you to America
  • 73:28 - 73:33
for America to be the offering
    plate for Africa.
  • 73:35 - 73:36
    Choked me.
  • 73:37 - 73:42
He said, I've sent you to America
    for America's sake.
  • 73:44 - 73:49
He said, I want you to have a gospel
    crusade here in Vero Beach.
  • 73:51 - 73:55
I said, Lord, this is a small place.
  • 73:56 - 73:58
    I can do that quickly.
  • 73:58 - 74:01
I'll get it. I'll get it.
  • 74:01 - 74:05
    Few hundred people together
    and it will be fine.
  • 74:05 - 74:08
But as I prayed and prayed and prayed,
  • 74:08 - 74:12
    the whole thing grew
and grew and grew and grew.
  • 74:12 - 74:16
    In February of this year,
I had my crusade in Verro Beach.
  • 74:16 - 74:23
    And in every single meeting,
I had 5,000 people in that little place.
  • 74:23 - 74:27
    5,000 people.
  • 74:28 - 74:35
To me, that was as if somebody would
shoot a flare into the night sky,
  • 74:36 - 74:44
    or somebody pulling the trigger
    of the starting pistol.
  • 74:44 - 74:48
    The race is open.
  • 74:48 - 74:58
The race is open from city to city, from
state to state, and from Coast to Coast.
  • 74:58 - 75:02
I believe America will be saved.
  • 75:05 - 75:07
    We signed the contract
  • 75:07 - 75:13
for the Amway Center in Orlando
    for September 27, 28.
  • 75:13 - 75:15
    It seats 19,000.
  • 75:15 - 75:19
    That is the second step.
  • 75:19 - 75:20
    After that,
  • 75:21 - 75:26
    I will start moving
    and we will fill stadiums
  • 75:26 - 75:32
from city to city, from city to city,
to city to city, to city to city to city.
  • 75:32 - 75:34
    Hallelujah.
  • 75:36 - 75:38
    Amen.
  • 75:38 - 75:43
    The gospel must be
    preached to be the gospel.
  • 75:43 - 75:45
    Gospel means good news.
  • 75:45 - 75:49
    News is not news when
    it's stuck on the shelf.
  • 75:49 - 75:53
News is news when it becomes communicated.
  • 75:53 - 75:58
An un preached gospel is no gospel at all.
  • 76:00 - 76:05
    The gospel must be preached
    to become the gospel.
  • 76:07 - 76:13
    When the gospel is preached,
    the gospel becomes an event.
  • 76:15 - 76:23
Young man said to me, How can you call
that gospel, which is 2,000 years old?
  • 76:23 - 76:26
He said, You say it's news?
  • 76:26 - 76:28
He said, I call news something else,
  • 76:28 - 76:33
he said to me, You could
at best call it good history.
  • 76:33 - 76:39
He was smart, but not smart enough.
  • 76:39 - 76:49
I said, Young man, yes, the gospel is old,
  • 76:49 - 76:53
    like the sun is old.
  • 76:54 - 77:00
    But nobody can say, because
the sun is old, I'm cold.
  • 77:01 - 77:04
The sun is old but hot.
  • 77:04 - 77:08
And the Bible is old but powerful.
  • 77:14 - 77:20
    And I said, Listen,
every time the gospel is preached,
  • 77:20 - 77:25
    it happens in the people,
in the hearts of the heroes.
  • 77:25 - 77:27
    It happens.
  • 77:27 - 77:32
And then they shout, they jump up and say,
    Something happened to me.
  • 77:32 - 77:34
    News.
  • 77:36 - 77:43
    Blind eyes opened, crippled Swag,
lost a found, and sinners saved.
  • 77:43 - 77:46
    It happened.
    Did it happen to you?
  • 77:46 - 77:48
    Yes.
    Hallelujah.
  • 77:48 - 77:58
In Jesus' mighty name, I want to find out
  • 77:58 - 78:04
    how many of you
have heard the call of God tonight
  • 78:04 - 78:12
to be part of that salvation move
that is going to roll across
  • 78:12 - 78:19
the United States of America to turn
    darkness into light,
  • 78:19 - 78:28
the power of Satan into the power
    of God, bondage into freedom.
  • 78:28 - 78:31
If you have heard that call and you are
  • 78:31 - 78:39
willing to drop all like Levi,
    the tax official.
  • 78:39 - 78:48
When Jesus entered his tax office,
he stood up, left all and followed him.
  • 78:49 - 78:50
    Who's here tonight?
  • 78:50 - 78:56
You want to follow Jesus in this calling.
  • 78:58 - 79:01
I want you to stand up with me.
  • 79:01 - 79:04
There's no room to call you forward.
  • 79:04 - 79:11
But I believe as we are going to pray now,
the fire will fall and there is a flame
  • 79:11 - 79:17
on every head showing a flame
on every head in Jesus mighty name.
  • 79:17 - 79:21
    Are you ready for it?
  • 79:21 - 79:25
    Listen, I'll tell you
how we do it in Africa.
  • 79:25 - 79:26
    Can I tell you?
  • 79:26 - 79:31
And can we do it here just the same?
  • 79:32 - 79:35
When we pray for the fire to fall in
  • 79:35 - 79:45
Africa, there are crowds of 100,000,
200,000, 800,000, and they are all there.
  • 79:45 - 79:47
    Nobody can come forward,
  • 79:48 - 79:52
but they all want to receive
    that wonderful
  • 79:52 - 79:55
    fire power,
that baptism in the Holy Spirit,
  • 79:55 - 80:04
that flame on your head and your
flame bears your name, by the way.
  • 80:04 - 80:06
    It's personalized.
  • 80:06 - 80:08
    It fits nobody else.
  • 80:08 - 80:11
    It only fits you.
  • 80:11 - 80:16
That's why you can serve God
in a way nobody else can.
  • 80:16 - 80:19
    It's original.
    It's unique.
  • 80:19 - 80:21
    Do you get me?
  • 80:21 - 80:23
    Amen.
  • 80:23 - 80:24
Then we call the people forward.
  • 80:24 - 80:26
    I'm just explaining now.
  • 80:26 - 80:29
I'm just explaining now, so don't start.
  • 80:30 - 80:37
Then I say, They were of one accord.
  • 80:37 - 80:43
It says there in Acts 2, They were of one
  • 80:44 - 80:51
accord. And then the fire came.
  • 80:51 - 80:55
I said to them, You can praise
the Lord the way you like, actually.
  • 80:55 - 81:02
But I suggest why can't we
    shout the biggest Hallelujah?
  • 81:02 - 81:04
    This place has ever heard.
  • 81:04 - 81:08
    Universal Studios has ever...
  • 81:08 - 81:11
    Wait, wait, wait, wait.
  • 81:11 - 81:14
And then don't just shout one Hallelujah.
  • 81:14 - 81:16
    It means praise the Lord.
  • 81:16 - 81:20
When you praise the Lord, you attract
the Holy Spirit like a lightning.
  • 81:20 - 81:24
    Condactor attracts lightning.
  • 81:25 - 81:31
Then don't just shout one Hallelujah.
  • 81:31 - 81:33
Open your eyes and look around.
  • 81:33 - 81:37
Keep your eyes shut and keep
    praising the Lord with hallelujah.
  • 81:37 - 81:41
    And suddenly, suddenly your
    language will change.
  • 81:41 - 81:43
    You will prophesy.
  • 81:43 - 81:44
    You will prophesy.
  • 81:44 - 81:46
    You will interpret.
  • 81:46 - 81:48
    You will see visions.
  • 81:48 - 81:54
    You will become a preacher
    of the gospel with firepower.
  • 81:54 - 81:55
    Are you ready?
  • 81:55 - 81:57
    Are you ready?
  • 81:57 - 81:58
    Everybody stand.
  • 81:58 - 82:00
    Are you ready?
  • 82:00 - 82:02
    Everybody stand now.
  • 82:02 - 82:04
    Follow my instructions.
  • 82:04 - 82:07
    Please lift your hands now.
  • 82:07 - 82:13
    Close your eyes and your
  • 82:14 - 82:43
    hallelujah. fire in Jesus' name.
  • 82:43 - 82:46
    Fire in Jesus' name.
  • 82:46 - 82:50
Fire, fire of the Holy Spirit.
  • 82:50 - 82:59
Jesus, every head, every heart, every one.
  • 82:59 - 83:01
    So put up our fire.
  • 83:13 - 83:16
    Every head,
  • 83:19 - 83:28
every tongue, every heart, every body
  • 83:29 - 83:37
receive in the name of Jesus and go
in the power of your mighty
  • 83:37 - 83:47
and preach the gospel and heal the sick
    and raise the dead
  • 83:47 - 83:57
    freely you have received
freely give in Jesus mighty name.
  • 83:57 - 84:02
    Shalama, see I call all
    among thy all of all
  • 85:15 - 85:15
    sh you. Hallelujah. Oh, Hallelujah.
    Oh, hallelujah.
  • 85:15 - 85:47
    Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
  • 85:49 - 85:54
    You have received the call.
  • 85:55 - 85:59
It's easy to receive a call from Jesus.
  • 85:59 - 86:05
    It's another matter to give
    birth to that call.
  • 86:06 - 86:14
You will give birth to that call
    in the name of Jesus.
  • 86:14 - 86:19
May this auditorium become a womb
  • 86:19 - 86:29
for the next generation of Holy Spirit
evangelists in the mighty name of Jesus.
  • 86:37 - 86:41
The Lord says, Don't be afraid.
  • 86:41 - 86:45
    I am with you.
  • 86:47 - 86:51
    My lips are your lips.
  • 86:51 - 86:56
Your hands are my hands, says the Lord.
  • 86:56 - 87:00
    I will remove the barriers.
  • 87:00 - 87:10
I will remove the barriers that tempt you
from entering your call, says the Lord.
  • 87:10 - 87:12
    This day is your day.
  • 87:12 - 87:17
This day is the day of salvation.
  • 87:27 - 87:30
    America will be saved.
  • 87:30 - 87:34
    America will be saved.
  • 87:35 - 87:37
    God bless America.
  • 87:37 - 87:40
    America will be saved.
  • 87:40 - 87:43
    Thank you, Jesus.
  • 87:43 - 87:47
    Thank you, mighty Jesus.
  • 87:47 - 87:50
    Thank you, mighty God.
  • 87:50 - 87:54
    America will be saved.
  • 87:54 - 87:57
    Hallelujah.
  • 88:02 - 88:06
    Has the flame landed?
  • 88:06 - 88:10
    Has the flame landed?
  • 88:12 - 88:21
    Your head is the landing
    strip for the Holy Spirit.
  • 88:22 - 88:25
    He has landed.
  • 88:25 - 88:29
    Never to take off again.
  • 88:29 - 88:34
The comforter has come to abide.
  • 88:34 - 88:38
    Shout, Hallelujah.
  • 88:57 - 89:04
Some of you have already responded
    to a similar call before.
  • 89:04 - 89:09
I hope you don't collect calls.
  • 89:11 - 89:19
I pray from the bottom of my heart
  • 89:22 - 89:26
that you are no more waiting for another
  • 89:26 - 89:36
call, but that you go to pennies and buy
a suitcase and get going for God.
  • 89:36 - 89:39
    In Jesus' name.
  • 89:39 - 89:41
    In Jesus' name.
  • 89:41 - 89:44
    In Jesus' name.
  • 89:44 - 89:46
    Amen. the
  • 90:17 - 90:19
    word that we continually got,
  • 90:19 - 90:24
again and again, as we were coming to LA,
was that the Lord wanted to release
  • 90:24 - 90:27
    something significant
    and unique in our midst.
  • 90:27 - 90:34
I want to tell you, I feel very strongly
  • 90:34 - 90:38
that what was released tonight is really
tied to our ability to receive it.
  • 90:38 - 90:43
One of the ways we receive that is
the Bible says that if you honor a prophet
  • 90:43 - 90:47
in the name of a prophet,
    you'll get the Prophet's reward.
  • 90:47 - 90:49
I want us just to honor right now,
  • 90:49 - 90:57
just by showing him our gratitude,
that run our bank, you would come in here,
  • 90:57 - 91:00
    invest in us and pour
    himself out as he did.
  • 91:00 - 91:05
I want you to thank him as a father.
  • 91:11 - 91:14
I want you to thank him better
    than you're thinking him.
  • 91:14 - 91:16
I want you to thank him for coming.
  • 91:16 - 91:19
    We just honor him.
  • 91:33 - 91:35
We did a tour in April.
  • 91:35 - 91:38
    We did eight cities just
    doing one night events.
  • 91:38 - 91:43
The message we sent everywhere he went,
I believe, and we said this last year,
  • 91:43 - 91:49
hope is alive and well in America
because you've decided to believe God.
  • 91:49 - 91:51
I believe that hope is alive and well
  • 91:51 - 91:54
    because you've decided
    to give everything to him.
  • 91:54 - 91:58
As I get into settings like this,
it's impossible to just be discouraged.
  • 91:58 - 92:00
It's impossible not to be full of hope.
  • 92:00 - 92:02
I'm just so encouraged by your life.
  • 92:02 - 92:06
I feel so much hope in my heart
    because of your life.
  • 92:06 - 92:08
Here's what we're going to do.
  • 92:08 - 92:10
I want to just end with one
    more song tonight.
  • 92:10 - 92:15
Just one more song just celebrating Jesus.
    Before we do that,
  • 92:15 - 92:18
because once we do that, we're going
to dismiss you and let you go.
  • 92:18 - 92:20
If you're here for one night,
    we're glad you're here.
  • 92:20 - 92:22
You're more than welcome to come.
  • 92:22 - 92:25
    Each night, we'll have
    tickets available each night.
  • 92:25 - 92:29
Tomorrow night will be Russell Evans
and then I'll be on the last night.
  • 92:29 - 92:33
But also for those that are in the days,
if you'd like to come to the days and you
  • 92:33 - 92:38
can get tickets for the three days,
    but two days now.
  • 92:38 - 92:41
    But tomorrow morning,
we'll have the youth pastors meeting
  • 92:41 - 92:45
at eight o'clock for a high
    school and junior high pastors.
  • 92:45 - 92:50
Then I think whatever time it starts at 9
30, we're going to have in the morning,
  • 92:50 - 92:52
    I believe it's Brian
    and Katie are on, right?
  • 92:52 - 92:56
    Brian and Katie Torwalt will
    be leading in the morning.
  • 92:56 - 92:59
    Then Scott Thompson is
    going to be activating.
  • 92:59 - 93:03
We're going to have going to have some
    interaction with Scott over power
  • 93:03 - 93:06
    evangelism and praying for people
and all that type of stuff.
  • 93:06 - 93:08
We'll be doing that in the morning.
  • 93:08 - 93:14
As well as Kim will be
    speaking in the morning.
  • 93:15 - 93:16
    She's pregnant.
  • 93:16 - 93:19
    She may have to sit
    on a stool or something.
  • 93:19 - 93:21
    No, I'm not.
    What are you talking about?
  • 93:21 - 93:27
She's pregnant or she's been eating more,
    but that's not the point.
  • 93:27 - 93:28
    Then in the afternoon,
  • 93:28 - 93:33
one of our favorite things is
    something called the Culture Project.
  • 93:33 - 93:35
We will have different people in,
  • 93:35 - 93:41
a captain, a jag in the military will be
here, a nurse practitioner, an author,
  • 93:41 - 93:44
    songwriter in the entertainment
    world will be here.
  • 93:44 - 93:48
    Luke Rittenhouse,
    an NBA basketball player.
  • 93:48 - 93:50
    Anyways, an NBA player
    will be here tomorrow.
  • 93:50 - 93:52
    All that's going to be
    happening in the afternoon.
  • 93:52 - 93:54
We're going to be interacting with him
  • 93:54 - 93:58
and talking and just going over,
raising up leaders for all the realms.
  • 93:58 - 93:59
    That's in the afternoon.
  • 93:59 - 94:00
Then we'll be back here tomorrow night
  • 94:00 - 94:03
with the band and one of our
    favorites, Russell Evans.
  • 94:03 - 94:05
W e are glad that you're here tonight.
  • 94:05 - 94:08
    I f you're just with us
for the night, bless you guys.
  • 94:08 - 94:09
    We love you guys.
  • 94:09 - 94:12
You're more than welcome to come
back if you'd like and get tickets.
  • 94:12 - 94:14
    I f you're here for the days,
we'll see you in the morning.
  • 94:14 - 94:16
    Okay?
    Does that sound good?
  • 94:16 - 94:18
    All right, one last song.
  • 94:18 - 94:20
Hey, let me just say before we leave,
  • 94:20 - 94:26
just to set this, we are really grateful
    for this place, the Gibson,
  • 94:26 - 94:31
the staff here, and all the ones that are
helping us who are serving here.
  • 94:31 - 94:35
I want to make sure that you just make
sure you just let them know you love them
  • 94:35 - 94:39
as you're going out and make sure one
of the ways we love them is by picking up
  • 94:39 - 94:42
trash and making sure we're not
    just leaving stuff everywhere.
  • 94:42 - 94:43
Are you with me on that?
  • 94:43 - 94:48
They've got really a great crew here,
a great staff that works at this theater,
  • 94:48 - 94:51
and we just want to make sure
that we honor them as well.
  • 94:51 - 94:53
    And we're just really grateful
for what they're doing for us.
  • 94:53 - 94:55
    Okay?
    All right.
  • 94:55 - 94:58
    You ready?
    Did you receive tonight?
  • 94:58 - 94:59
    Yeah, Mark.
  • 94:59 - 95:04
Let's end with one more song
and then we'll let you go.
  • 95:05 - 95:16
    Three, two,
  • 95:21 - 95:28
one. I'm coming back to the start
  • 95:28 - 95:32
    where you found me.
  • 95:32 - 95:36
I'm coming back to your heart.
  • 95:36 - 95:41
    Now I surrender, take me.
  • 95:41 - 95:46
This is all I can pray.
  • 95:46 - 95:48
    One, two, three.
  • 95:48 - 95:50
    You'll never stop loving us.
  • 95:51 - 95:55
No matter how far we run.
  • 95:55 - 95:58
You'll never give up on us.
  • 95:58 - 96:04
All of heaven sheds, let the future begin.
  • 96:04 - 96:08
So let the chains fall off.
  • 96:08 - 96:15
    God is freedom and here
    we feel your heart.
  • 96:15 - 96:20
Our heartbeat for us, take me.
  • 96:21 - 96:23
    This is all I can.
  • 96:23 - 96:24
    One, two, three.
  • 96:24 - 96:29
    You never stop loving us.
  • 96:29 - 96:36
No matter how far we run,
you never give up on us.
  • 96:36 - 96:40
    All of heaven shouts,
    let the future begin.
  • 96:40 - 96:43
    You never stop loving us.
  • 96:43 - 96:50
No matter how far we run,
you never give up on us.
  • 96:50 - 96:55
    All of heaven shouts,
    let the future begin.
  • 96:55 - 96:57
    I feel alive.
  • 96:57 - 96:58
    I come alive.
  • 96:58 - 97:03
    I am alive. God's great, God's love.
  • 97:03 - 97:05
    I feel alive.
  • 97:05 - 97:07
    I come alive.
    I am alive.
  • 97:07 - 97:07
    Oh, God's great, God's love.
    This is all right.
  • 97:07 - 97:08
    One, two, three.
    You'll never stop loving us.
  • 97:08 - 97:09
No matter how far we run.
    You'll never give upon us.
  • 97:09 - 97:09
    All of heaven shouts,
    let the future begin.
  • 97:09 - 97:10
    You'll never stop loving us.
No matter how far we run. efore we run.
  • 97:10 - 97:11
You never give up on us.
    All of heaven sheds.
  • 97:11 - 97:11
    Let the future begin.
    I feel alive.
  • 97:11 - 97:11
    I come alive.
    I am alive.
  • 97:11 - 97:13
    I God's great, God's love.
    I feel alive.
  • 97:13 - 97:14
    I come alive.
    I am alive.
  • 97:14 - 97:16
I God's great, God's love. here we go.
  • 97:16 - 97:17
