深指屈筋腱テスト(Boyesテスト)を行う際は、
１本の指の遠位指節間関節を診察台の端にのせ、

この関節の屈曲状態を調べます。

遠位指節間関節(DIP)で指を曲げる事ができない場合は、

深指屈筋腱が一部あるいは完全に
断裂していることが考えられます。

これはジャージー指として知られています。
