-
We have more food
than people can eat.
-
More homes than there are
homeless people out there.
-
More clothes than
people can wear.
-
More gadgets than
people can use.
-
We have an abundance
of knowledge and stuff.
-
But despite all of this,
-
the entire human species
has to trade to obtain them.
-
Trade their energy, time
skills, data and so forth.
-
It makes no sense!
-
If we have enough
for all of us,
-
why play this
ancient trade game?
-
This game of
"I do something
-
in order to get something
else in return",
-
creates an imbalance
of power
-
that will incentivize ego-centric
and perverse behaviours;
-
and this leads to the
many problems
-
we see in
the world today:
-
famine, corruption, poorly
conducted scientific research,
-
bad products, lack of healthcare,
social stratification and inequality,
-
distorted human values,
destruction of the environment,
-
and so on.
-
As long as we will play
the Game of Trade,
-
we will see billions of problems
for billions of humans,
-
and no group of people
or man-made laws
-
will be able to prevent
or fix most (if any) of these problems.
-
To fix these problems we need to get rid
of the game itself and migrate,
-
in small but many steps,
towards a post-trade society.
-
In order to do that we must recognize
what the problem is (trade)
-
and make it obsolete!
-
We need to create
trade-free goods and services!
-
Videos, books, food, science and
knowledge, houses and boats,
-
gadgets and documentaries,
and everything else.
-
How can we do that?
We don’t know exactly.
-
But we know that the only way forward
is to make trade obsolete,
-
otherwise we will continue for
hundreds if not thousands of years
-
scamming each other into oblivion.
-
If humans would have access to most
of what they need and want as trade-free,
-
an explosion of cooperative,
smart, and relaxed behaviors will emerge,
-
giving rise to an abundant
and diverse world
-
that can only propel humanity
into a saner direction.
