Though your Sins are as Scarlet...

  • 0:07 - 0:16
Hey everyone, my name's Chris Fowler, and I'm a juggler, so I'm going to be doing a juggling illustration, and it's gonna be narrated by Sterling.
  • 0:16 - 0:21
As you can see, these rings are red, and that represents something...
  • 0:21 - 0:32
Isaiah 1:18 says, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
  • 0:32 - 0:38
Now we have all this stain of sin in our lives, and it keeps us separate from God.
  • 0:38 - 0:44
There was only one person who did not have this stain of sin in their life, and that person was Jesus Christ.
  • 0:44 - 0:52
Because Jesus never sinned, He was perfectly acceptable to God as a sacrifice for our sins.
  • 0:52 - 0:56
Now what does this mean for us? There's good news!
  • 0:56 - 1:02
Romans 5:8 says, (But God shows His love for us, in that) while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
  • 1:02 - 1:08
Now if we look to Jesus, and if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior, then our sins will be forgiven.
  • 1:08 - 1:18
When that happens, God no longer sees us as He used to, but instead, He sees us as He sees Jesus -- without any stain of sin in our lives...
  • 1:18 - 1:21
...and perfectly acceptable in His sight.
  • 1:21 - 1:31
And truly, though our sins were as scarlet, they can be made white as snow, and that's through the work of Jesus Christ.
