Saved Out Of Egypt: Our Journey Of Salvation / Kingdom School - Lesson 4

  • 0:01 - 0:03
Welcome To The Kingdom school today this is Lesson Four and I am so excited to share this today and it's a new year for all of us and I want to start with giving you a word for this new year and this is out of Luke 13 we read here this is the parable of the Fig Tre and I want to read this because some years ago God spoke to me about this Parable here and it changed my life and now it's a new year and therefore I always go back to this Parable every year Jesus told this Parable a man had a fig tree growing in his Vineyard and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any so he said to the man who took care of the wineyard for three years I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree but have found haven't found any cut it down why should it use up the soil so the man replied leave it alone for one more year and I would dig around it and fertilize it if it bear fruit next year fine if not then cut it down this Parable spoke to me some years ago and I felt something like how was this Victory but at that time I've been a Christian for 6 years yes I never heal a sick I never cast out demon I never LED anyone to God I never baptized people water Holy Spirit I did not see fruit in my life and I read this and it was like Wow and I was like God please give me one more year if I don't bear fruit next time and next year this time then you can cut me down and and and it was like God spoke to me and like okay told I give you one more year and I started 40 days fast that day I start to change my life I start to obey God I start to change a lot of things and next year next time the year after I stopped up and looked back in my life and everything was changed I have now healed the S and I cast out demon I led many people to God and there was a lot of fruit in my life so this became a new beginning for me and now it's a new year and I want to challenge you out there are you seeing fruit in your life are you obeying Christ are you seeing a lot of things happen then take this word and receive it and then do something about it this year let's this year 2025 be the year you see a lot of fruit not just stand and do what you always been doing no he did not just let the tree stand one more year he said let's dig around it and let's vertize it you need to dig around it you need to change your roundings you need to to add things to your life if you do what you always done you will have what you have now so so there was a word that really spoke to me and I want to start saying Happy New Year to all of you with this word here and say do something make this year be the year where you see a lot of fruit and we want to help you to see fruit and and you need to pray pray is important we need to fast fast important and then we need to obey pray fast and Obey it cannot be more simple than this pray fast and Obey and we have different tools on our website that can help you and and some of the tools is what I have have here the gospel cards and I have in my hand here because today we're going to look at the gospel and and I want to start with a video here to just encourage you this new year and in this video you see me at one time sitting and using those gospels card this was a SE a second runner up of Miss USA who came to us some weeks ago with a team and I sat down with them and shared the gospel and and there was repentance that day they got delivered they got healed they got baptized in water they got filled with the Holy Spirit and something we are seen all the time now but the first six years of my Christian walk I did not see it but then God give me one more year I'm going to change I'm going to fertilize around my life I'm going to dig deep I'm going to pray fast and Obey and then I start to see it so I want to just start with a little video to just share to you out there and say guys this teaching as I said before about the kingdom is not just to give you hn is give you Foundation but give you help you to live a life where you bear a lot of fruit where you become the good fig tree that don't need to be cut down but a fig tree that is pleasing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so look at this video it's just a like three minutes video and and I want you to see this an imagine that you the one doing the same as you see in this video this year God bless you with this video here guys this is the ltin school and this is what we are doing we actually just pray for the first runner off of Miss America who came here for United States and her team and they have been full of the spir filled with the spirits of free from demons and now baptized in water so a lot of things are happening here in our everyday life who seeing you here are from United States when did you arrive days ago when we recognize we have sinned against God and repent turn away from that sin and put our faith in Jesus God is going to take that stone heart and he'll give us a new heart of this the Bible says you may not murder but Jesus go deeper said if you are Hate in Your Heart you're already a murder let go let go let go let go let go let go let go come on SP addiction go out come die with ches [Applause] [Music] amazing I feel like like I like I had seen my old self just leave she's gone she's never coming back never com I'm so happy said do on that Sunday so this is the video I want to share with you here and I want to say dig very deep in your life get some fertilizing live this life bear a lot of fruit and and and see fruit see fruit like this see transformation like this what I really love with the gospel cards is you we use them a lot and and to share the gospel because it's so simple it's so powerful is car that's where where is is his pictures just to illustrate like we have Jesus as the king he was the one who was crucified he went to heaven but he's coming back as the king and in the end of the cards I often ask people where are you in your life maybe you are here with a stone heart you never really repented if that is where you are what is the next step you need to repent and then you get a new heart or maybe you have repented and got a new heart but you never really been baptized what is your next step you get baptized in water and was away that thing but maybe you are there you have repented you are baptized but you never receive the Holy Spirit what is your next step you receive the holy spirit this is where God want you to live this is where God want everyone to live and I often end up saying to people I sit here with a car in the end and I love it like this and I say to people where are you in your life are you there there there or there this is where God want you to be and then people point and say uh I am there okay what is the next step I need to be baptized then let's go and baptize you or I'm there what is the next step I need the Holy Spirit let's pray for you to receive the holy spirit so but those cards is on our website you can get it like this there's a scan code where you can scan the code and and you can there see how how there's videos of how to use the gospel cards and it's some tools we have together with the book The call of Jesus finding the person of Peace So I want to say take those resources together with praying together with fasting and together with going out and Obey and then you will bear a lot of fruit in your life so that was my intro today Lesson Four is called save out of Egypt save From Slavery to sin and and in the beginning of this Kingdom school we started in the garden we started with looking at at the Garden of Eden and and and then the fall then we have looked at Noah and then we came to Abraham and we looked at Abraham in the last lessons here and last lesson it was the lesson was called called out and how we are the church that is called out to be separate touch no un clean and I will come and receive you today we're going to look at how they were called out and um this is a lesson about the gospel is a lesson about the journey the journey we are on as believers and it's also a lesson to really help you to understand that this is is about finish the race it's it's not just about starting it's it's about finishing and and this is what we are going to look at so the gospel the journey we are on and how we will finish the race and it's going to be a longer lesson but we are going to have a break in the middle as always so you can break it up if you want to I would just start with praying here God I thank you for for this lesson and pray that you will help me to share this pray that you open our eyes when it com to the gospel when it comes to Salvation and how we are called out of Egypt and how we are on a journey God that that we will not just start this journey but but we will take this warning St in the Bible and we will finish this in a strong way God come with your Holy Spirit and help me to share this and speak to everyone who has seen this God in a special way in the name of Jesus Amen so let's start here so last time we looked at the church which is the people that are called out and there we examine the church in the wilderness and how they were disqualified and did not enter even though they were called out so they were called out but they got disqualified and did not enter so left Egypt but Egypt never truly left them this time we're going to explore how the church God's people are called out are called out from slavery we are going to look at the Passover the crossing of the Red Sea the wandering toward the promised land as well as why they did not enter into the promised land so there was save out but never entered in or there was only a few who entered because this is important why because this illustrate our journey you and my journey of Salvation a journey that is much different from how many churches preach it today because it's not just about praying our prayer or being saved it's a journey of justification sanctification and on that day glorification when our Lord returns we should learn and make sure that we are not only saved out but we also enter in listen here we should learn and we should understand that it's not just about being saved out but is about entering in and once to start with asking two questions I want you to think of the first question here is what is most important that we fully understand the kingdom and and this the kingdom of God and and and and teaching and knowledge and Foundation that we fully understand the kingdom but not enter it or to not fully understand but still enter what is most important that we understand it but do not enter or that we enter and do not fully understand because the truth is there is people who have so much more knowledge than many of us when it come to the kingdom of God but they're missing something very important in their life how to enter and even they're teaching about the kingdom talking about the kingdom they do not enter into the kingdom then I know other people who who maybe don't have the full understanding yet about the doctrines behind the kingdom but they will enter one day why because they understood how to enter so I want you to think of this what is most important that we have all the knowledge and do not enter or that we enter without having the full knowledge let me ask a lot question what is most important how we start our journey or how we finish our journey what is most important how we start or how we finish the start is important I want to say that the start is very very very important but there is something that is more important than the start and that is the finished there is people today who don't have the right knowledge but they understand the new birth and they will one day enter there's people today who did not have a good start but they have a strong finished and then there's other people who have all the knowledge but will not enter and there's people who started very very strong but when finish very very weak so I say let let's get all of it if we can let's start strong let's end strong let's let's have the knowledge and let's enter go for all of it but I will start with with a warning in exod go to Exodus and some some numbers where we see the Israelite how they failed again and again and again after they were saved out of Egypt because in Exodus 15 we read here that after crossing the Red Sea the Israelite complained about the lack of water and the water was bitter next chapter Exodus 16 in the wilderness they grumbled again Moses or Aaron because of lack of food with it they were they had stayed in Egypt next chapter again in Exodus the people complain again about the lack of water questioning why God brought them out of Egypt so here we have three chapters in Exodus complaining grumbling complaining it was better up B in Egypt why did you bring it out here God we don't see your wisdom in this and we don't like we have no water we don't like the water we don't have food in numbers we can read the same where there's other examples here in numbers 11 that the people complained about the hardship and and God he was angry at that time and really start to struck them down like God's patient like with the Israelites later again in the same chapter they complained again um about um the Mana now they got man they complained and they was dreaming back to Egypt oh it was so much better the food we got back in Egypt and later again a few chapter later after the spies came back and reported from the promised land so after the spice reported about the Giants in the promised lande the people Cried Out In Fear this is V that they stayed in Egypt or will stay in the wilderness so here we see the Israelites they were saved out of Egypt but they complained they grumbled they complained they sinned again and again and again and in the end they really rebelled against God in a way where God just said okay now I'm finished with it now now we are stopping we we we are like I'm I'm going to destroy it more and then we see that in numbers 14 after the they complained and rebelled when when they heard about the Giants that was in the promised land and we jump into the story now so all the is they grumbled again Moses or Aaron and the whole assembly said to them if only we have died in Egypt or in the wilderness why did the Lord bring us out to this country only to leave us to Fall by the sword our wife and our children will be taken as plunder wouldn't it be better for us to go back to Egypt so that was the attitude complaining and grumbling and and we don't like this and God what are you doing and we actually God he he became angry do God become angry yeah um the Lord said to Moses how long will these people treat me with contempt with contempt how long would they treat me like this how long would they refuse to believe in me what what is unbelief that is to question God to to it's not like they knew God was real but they did not believe in his promise and what he have said how long would they refuse to believe in me in spite of all the signs I have performed among monst them and then he said I will strict them down with play and Destroy them but I will make you he talked to Moses into a great nation and stronger than they so you have to understand God he gave a promise to Abraham and God is faithful to everything he had promised he want to make him a great nation he want to give him the land of Israel but he did not say who he will do it with so all of those people he have saved out of Egypt because of the attitude because of the grumbling because of the way they lived God decided to destroy them all he destroy I'm going to wipe them off I'm going to destroy them but but what about the promise no I would do it with you Moses and Moses he came from the strip of Lei so he was I sended of of Israel of course and of of Jacob and of Isaac and and Abraham and back there so so he did it he wanted to do it but but not with those who are saved out he wanted to do with Moses why because he always have a remant he is going to do exactly what he have said he would do but who will he do it with the promise was to do it but not the promise was to do it with everyone and this same in the church today is is it's not everyone who's going to ENT it's just the FES so so here we see this so God want to destroy everyone but he found no and he said to Moses I would do it with you I will make the great nation out of you but Moses he he intercede he he went in say hey God let let if you put these people to death leaving none alive the nation who have heard the report about you would say that the Lord was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them on own and he slaughtered them in the wilderness so so Moses intercede and say hey God do you want to do this it's almost like like seen Abraham some years before when he wanted to destroy Soloman gorah and and lot was there and and and and Abraham was interceding and talking and and God he okay he he saved a few there the Lord replied I have forgiven them as you asked nevertheless as so he did not kill them right there neverless as surely as I live and as surely as the glory of the land fill the whole earth none of those who saw my glory and the sign I perform in Egypt and in the wilderness but who disobeyed me and tested me for 10 times and he he continues none of those will enter in but because my servant Caleb have a different spirit and follow me wholeheartedly I will bring him into the lane he went to and his descendants will inherit it so so none of those who were saved out that generation who was saved out of Egypt was brought into the promised land no Caleb was why because he had a different Spirit he was not like the others he had a different spirit and he was following God wholehearted so he continues so tell them as sure as I live declare the Lord I will do to you the very thing you heard me said in this wilderness your body with fall every one of you 20 years older and more who was counted in the censor and who have crumbled against me not not one of you would enter the L I swore with uplifted hand to make your home incept Caleb and Joshua so this is a a a reality and we need to face this reality God performed miracles in Egypt God did signs and wonders God took them out of Egypt he saved them he was with them in the wilderness we look at that in the last lesson that was called called out he called them out and he performed signs and wonders but even he did that they did not enter into the promised land because there was not like Caleb who had a different Spirit who was following God wholeheartedly What Spirit do you have what Spirit do I have how do we live do do do we think hey I'm safe and everything is good and one day I will enter or or do we take this warning to us that even we are safe out it don't mean that we automatically would wi and and this is a warning to us who are living today and this is exactly what Paul had in mind when he wrote first Corinthians 9 we're going to read now so read First Corinthians 9 when this in your mind because he's talking about the Israelite here because he continues in chapter 10 we looked at it last time also we're going to look at this time but with another Focus but have this in mind the Israelite how they was struck down in in the wilderness and did not answer only Caleb and Joshua have this in mind and those under 20 have this in mind when you read this everyone who compete in games go into strict trading they do it to get a crown that will not last but we do it to get a crown that would last forever therefore I do not run like somebody running Emil I do not fight like a boxer beat in the air no I strick I blow to my body and make the slave so that I after pron to order I myself will not be disqualified for the price who was disqualified the whole generation that was saved out of Egypt and this is the people he talk about here because he continues for I do not want you to be ignorant of that facts brother and sisters that our ancestors and you talk about what we just read in Exodus numbers that our ancestors were all under the cloud and they all passed through the sea they were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea they all ate of the same spiritual food they all drink of the same spiritual drink the drink of the spiritual rock that accomplish them and that rock was Christ never less never L God was not pleased with most of them and their body was scattered in the wilderness neveress after all of this the baptism the spirits of food the spirits of drink Christ the Rock never less God was not pleased with them he continues now these occurred as a example for you and me today like it's for us today as a example to keep us from sitting our heart of evil things as they did do not be adulterers as some of them were at this is written they the people sat down and eat and drink and got up and indulg in R this is talking about the the either read the the golden Cal and what happened there in Exodus 20 and so on do do not commit sexual immorality as some of them did and that day 23,000 was killed do not test Christ as some of them did and they got killed by snakes do not Grumble some of them did and they were killed by the destroying Angel so he continued these things happened as a example for you and me today 2025 these things happen as ex ex for o they were written down to what to warn us who live in the end of the AGS it's ritten down to war it's not just history something it's it they have a purpose is here to warn us so if you think you are standing firm be careful that you do not fall and we see so many people fall I've seen so many people start in the spirit and end in the flesh I I I've seen so many people fall and fall is not only leave the church fall is fall away from the first love I that against you you have left your first love repent and no tempt have overtaken you accept what is come to Mankind and God is faithful he will not let you be tempted above what you can bear but he but when you attempted he will provide a way out so you you can endure it so through every Temptation everything we are experienc in life God is faithful there is always a way out we cannot say oh God it's it's your fault I F fall away or it's your fault I I went to sin no God he always provide a way out but the question is do we do we take that way out his way or do you we goes away and I want to read this words again these things occurred as ex simple to keep us for setting our heart of evil things as they did many today are preaching hey you got save and therefore nothing can take away and you will one day enter into the promised land or you go to heaven and I know this is difficult for people to hear if they're used to that mindset oh one save all we're safe we are not Sav yet fully we are being saved and and I I want you to understand this listen here we don't have eternal life in US John 15 saw about the the the Fig Tree and the brances the the brands don't have life in itself if it's being cut off it will die it only have life in the tree the the same way we don't have eternal life in us the life is in Christ and we can be cut off from the wine we can be caught off from the Covenant and lose our birth right there s that he read Hebrew 12 how we can lose our Birthright we can be caught off if you broken the Covenant you will be cut off like we can say we can say like this we have life by the spirit in us it's by the spirit we have life but we can sin against the spirit or we can bre grieve the spirit starting in the spirit but we can end in the flesh so it's not nothing that happen overnight it's not like hey I wake up one morning and then suddenly like Bing what is happening here but if you look at the Israelite again and again and again 10 times God said you have rebelled against me 10 times and in the end God he cut them off for the promise God is full of grace he is but we cannot play with his grace we it's it's it's not like that we we can sin against The Spirit Well when you are born again you get the spirit of God in you listen to the spirit in you if you go astray out of a road what is Heavenly Spirit would try to call you back and say don't go into sin don't go that direction but many people don't listen to the spirit that they don't don't understand that they can grieve the spirit that they can sin against the spirit when you have the spirit of God then listen to the spirit in you and and I think we all tried it like people fall sexual sin you don't start with your sexual sin you start with a with looking with lost start with our desire start with things and what is happen the spirit is like it's not good it's not good it's not good but then because there's no fear of God in their life they don't listen they don't take heed and listen to the spirit and then they go out and and and you can come so far out as we read there that you're losing the birth right you're losing what what you have been given let me explain more about it some scripture Revelation some of the last chapters in the Bible end of revelation we read this is a warning to us everyone who hear these words of the prophecy in this scroll if anyone add anything to them God will add that the place describing the scroll if anyone take away from it God will take away from that person any share of the Tree of Life in the holy city so in the end of the Bible God give us a warning and he make clear that if we do this and this and this God will take away access to the tree of life and the holy city that mean that the first had it they had it but God took it away and you say here yeah yeah but God is graceful and full of love yes he is but I said before we cannot play with him and do like the Israelite who after they were saved out of Egypt and God ended up rejecting them and took a away their shares to the promised land and there's other examples Revelation 2 we read this every everyone who has ears let him hear what the spirit is saying to the church what do the spirit say to Joseph to the one who are victorious I will give the right to eat of the tree of life which is in the paradise of God to the one who are victorious I will give the right to eat of the Tree of Life somebody will argue and say but go does the bible not say that is the one who have their name written in the Book of Life yes but look what Revelation also said first we read this everyone whose name was not found in the book of life was thrown into Lake of Fire but look at this warning here to the one who are victorious again will like them be dressed in white and I will never block them block out the name of that person from The Life Book of Life I will acknowledge that name before my father and his angels so God said that is the one who are victorious that he will not plock out the name of the book of life why do he say that because it is possible to get your life remove name removed from the book of life and therefore you will not you lose your Birthright you will not be able to enter in to the kingdom of God you will not be able to access the New Jerusalem to eat of the Tree of Life enter into promised land and the Israelites stand as a clear clear warning to us and I know many churches don't speak like that today if we just had this understanding that that is a journey and that fear of God in our life and and know that it's for those who are victorious those who keep wholehearted like Caleb with God and have a different Spirit who will be able to enter and the others who are not who Grumble and sin and and do all of that their names can be plugged out of The Book of Life they will lose the inheritance the birthright as we saw with israelit so I want to start with this I know it's strong for people who are not used to this but but we need this but but let's look here as the gospel in Exodus and I want to uh and yes we're going to have a break in a short time here but I just want to share some more before we have the break here because it this is uh I want to get started with this so what do we see we see that there were slave in Egypt like today we are slave to this world Moses called them out like Jesus one greater than Moses is not now calling us out and and we jump into the story now we go back to Exodus and and Moses came to said let my people go and Pharaoh did not want to let them go and we saw the plague 1 2 3 4 5 6 Seven 8 nine plagues and we jump in in the story now where we come to the time of the last plague number 10 with the first born and and we read here from Exodus 12 and I want to encourage you again read it all yourself go in and read the whole book Book of Exodus yourself and get all the details the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt this month is to be for you the first month the first month of your year and this is important so the calendar of the Jewish calendar Israel go back to this this is the first day of the first month this is the new beginning for Israel and and like we today experience a new beginning in Christ so this is important tell the whole congregation and Community sorry of Israel that on the 10th day of s months each of you need to take a land for his family one of each household if any household is too small for the whole L he must share it with some of the neighbors and so on so he talk about this is a new beginning and each of you take a lame and share it with order if it is and then he talk about how to eat this L they need to build up the the clock the the clothes they had to ascend of the feet and they have to be ready to leave Israel fast why because it's the Lord's Passover and then he continues on the same night I will passed through Egypt and St stck down every first born of both the people and the animal and I will bring judgment to all the gods of of Egypt I am the Lord the blood will be assigned for you on the houses where you are and when I see the blood I will pass over that is where we have the word pass over God is not killing the people in the house the firstborn but he's passing over when he see the blood no destructive Blake will touch you when I strict Egypt this is a day for you to commemorate for the generation to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord a lasting ordination so so the Passover was was something that should continue celebrate for Generation to come and we also celebrating Passover today but you know everything get a new um understanding Christ is pointing to Christ and and I'll come back to this but but this is important blood Passover and then he continue for something we often miss for seven days you are to eat bread make without yeast on the first day remove the yeast from your houses for whoever eat anything with yeast is in it from the first day to the seventh day must be CAU off Israel so like we we saw with Abraham and the Covenant of cision he gave a promise to Abraham but everyone who was not circumcised will be cut off and they will not inherit the promise here with Exodus there was more than the blood of the lame there was the yeast that needed to be out of the house and if you did not get the yeast there's a picture of sin out of your house even you have the blood you will still be cut off there's a message here I want you to understand we often think that oh blood the blood of Jesus just cover my sin the blood here did not save them if they still have Leon or east in the houses the blood could not cover the East and it's a picture of sin and we need to understand that even before the cross what did Jesus preach repentance it did not start with the cross and the blood it started with repentance repent repent repent and then put your faith in the blood we are talking about putting the faith in the blood without repentance and and and I'm going to come back to this but but this is very very very important so the slaughter the Passover L and the blood on the door frame and death passed over but no East that had to be removed and this was what they did it was not only the Passover we not only celebrating the Passover we are celebrating the UNL bread the festival there is connected so Exodus 12 celebrate the festival on the UNL bread because it was on that day I brought you brought your the vision out of Egypt celebrate this day and a lasting ordination for the generation to come in the first month you are to eat bread without East from the evening on the seventh day onto the evening on the 70 day for seven days no ease is to be found in your houses and everyone even forer on Native birth who eat anything with eat must be CAU off of the community of Israel and they would say the promise and everything given eat nothing make with ease whoever wherever you live you must eat on living bread and again it's all Shadows of pictures pointing to Christ as I've talked about in the first three lessons see it see the first lesson Shad on picture and he continues here obey this instruction at a lasting ordinance for you and your descendants when you enter into the land the Lord will give you as promise OB observe this ceremony and when your children ask why does this ceremony what does this ceremony mean to you then tell them is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord who passed over the houses of the Israelite in Egypt and Spar the houses when he struck down the EES so so this is a a Everlasting ordination or Covenant it's a Everlasting Ceremony this is for you and me today but it have a different meaning today it it it have a clear understanding today and we're going to come back to this but then we have the the tin plate the first born who died and we're going to jump into the story there at midnight the Lord struck down all the first B born in Egypt from the first born of pharaoh who sat on the throne to the first born on the prison prisoner on the first born of livestock they all got cut down pharaoh and all the officer all the Egypt got up during that n and there was loud crying and of course we understand that because every household had somebody who was dead and then Pharaoh summoned mosa and Aaron and said up leave my people you and the Israelite go Worship the Lord as you have requested so because of this they left and he said take your flocks or hers as you said go and also bless me and then we have the Exodus and we read here how they left but not only the the left we read here that the Lord have made the each Egyptians favorable toward the people so they gave them gift when they left and this way they plundered the whole of Egypt and it's very interesting because it was exactly what God Said to Abraham 400 years before 400 years before in EX in genes 15 he told he foretold he prophesied what will happen and he said there that I will punish the nation they serve as slave and afterward they will come out with great possessions I love it God's in control 400 years before as we looked at before even before Abraham had one child God prophesied what would happen the next 400 years and what was one of those prophecies and words that when they leave they will come out with great Poss sessions and it happened like that then they left and then they came out with great possession in the middle of the night with the unle bread with them and they live Egypt as God have said and then they came to the Red Sea and and and I encourage you to read it all chapter 14 but we are just going to read a little here then they came to the Red Sea and the Egyptians followed them pharoh he decided come on let's send the whole Army after them and they came to the Red Sea and was St and then we read here then Moses stred out his hand over the sea and all the night the Lord drove back the sea with a strong East Wind and turn it into dry land so the waters was divided and the is went through the Red Sea on dry ground but when the Egyptians pursued them what happen the water came over them and they all was drowned and we read that here in verse 28 that they all drowned and so on so this is some of the story we read so were they saved yes from what they were saved save out of Egypt they were saved out of Egypt it was the last lesson where we looked at we the church are called out go back again to to Noah why did God send the flock to save them for a wicked perverse generation so Noah was saved out of this wicked perverse generation and and the Israelite were saved out of Egypt so they not be destroyed together with Egypt and we are now saved out of Babylon out of this world we are called out so they were saved in the Red Sea how are they saved there they were saved from the body of people who kept them as slave the old life is gone there's no more looking over the shoulder wondering when they would come and get the back again so after they were saved out of Egypt they came to take them back to slavery so they need to be saved one more time this time from Egypt and of course this is a picture of the baptism that now save us from our old life of sin and death our old life of slavery so we don't need to look over the sh anymore you know it's it's like like this when the one who sin become a slave to sin if I use the C here again we have a we become a slave to sin and we love sin and we have a stone heart but to repentance and faith God take that stone heart and give us a new heart of Flesh so now we have the desire in our heart to do what is right but the body is still a slave to sin and death so what do we do with that body we need to bury it we need to go down in the water and then when we come out on the other side the body of sin and death the old life who kept us slave is not coming up again is being drowned in that water so so this is a really really beautiful picture of of how we in the baptism are safe from the body of sin and death so we can now live a new life but being saved first out of Egypt and being saved from the body of of sin and death in the Red Sea being safe was is not the end it is not the goal of the journey but the beginning that was where the beginning started it was not the Finish Line it was the beginning it was the starting line not the Finish Line it is not just hey everything is finished now and one day you will die and go to heaven you pray the prayer you repent you got baptized you got born again it's finished now no remember those who were saved later got the name blocked out of the book of life and did not enter so now the journey started and and and first they came out of the Red Sea and they were of course celebrating and yay come on and and we have a good reason to celebrate the song of Moses you can read about that when they pass through the Red Sea and there is a good place to celebrate we are thankful for the Salvation but we need to continue walking this life and we read here in Exodus 12 how God he guided them by day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and By Night by a pillow of fire to give them light so through the next season in their life from the Red Sea to the promised land in that Journey God guided them to a pillow of cloud and to a pillow of of fire god guided them from the beginning to the promised land if they have just followed if they had just done what God he have told them if they have just had the fear of God and and believe that him who started that Journey he will also finish them and and have the heart of Caleb they we have entered into the promised land so we read here the way they got saved is the same way we are getting saved today remember it's all about Christ so Peter Paul and Peter and the rest was preaching Christ out of the scriptures and what scriptures was that that was the Old Testament that was this that was the Bible they had at that time that was the scripture that is salvation and and and exodus is our Exodus today so so let's look at it so how did they get saved the same way we get saved today the UN living bread what is that repentance remove the Leen the east from your life you need to get the East that is a picture of sin out of your life it's important to understand that the blood does not cover the Liv just as it do not cover our sins in the same manner repent and place your faith in the blood remember the preach repentance before the cross there was no blood but repentance prepared the heart for the blood prepar this is the first thing we do and then put our faith in the blood second the blood of the lame Christ the cross our Passover lame forgiveness for sin is only possible through the sledding of blood repent first and then put your faith in the blood but don't stop there baptism just as the Israelite pass through the Red Sea drowning the eyelites and leaving the old life behind in Egypt we are called to bury our old self in the baptism water dying to this world dying to the sin walk by the pillow of cloud and fire after the baptism in water we need to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and learn to walk by the spirit and this is where our Journey Begins leading us through the Wilderness toward the promised land and this is a good place to take a break and and we have a break now and and and then we will continue and we look more on the onle bread we look at the Passover Lamb and we look more on the New Testament so you can see how this is all connected see you after the [Music] break we are back again here and we want to continue where we're going to look more on the New Testament and and and and Jesus and and communion and and and the Passover and different things and I want to say this May challenge you and I hope it is but I want you to see that the problem is that we have taken things out of context we believe in the grace of God but what do you mean we believe that that it's not by works we are saved but what do you mean we believe that we cannot earn salvation but what do we mean we we believe in in faith we believe in Repentance we believe in baptism many believe in baptism but in what context and there remember they were pre and Christ out of the Old Testament they were not preaching things in a different context like we do today and and we need to be ready to take off those religious glasses and say okay let's let's try to look at it in a new context and then it become very very clear and you also see that now as we move on in the New Testament the Passover Mark 14 we read this on the first day of the festival on the UNL bread when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lame Jesus decip asked him where do you want us to go and make preparation for you to eat the Passover so the Passover where Jesus Took and and said this is the blood of the New Covenant when is the Passover on the fesan on the unliving bread why because those two were connected it was not only the Passover the the lamb that was slay the land was slay on the fif one on the UNL bread those two are connected but here we see this and that is the Passover is is our communion today to use that so he sent his disciples telling them go to the city and there's a man carry a jaw of water and follow him and so on it was beautiful and then when you see the owner of the house enter and then where did you ask the guy where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples so so Jesus was celebrating the Passover but this was the beginning of what we call communion or the law 's sber and there we read this where Jesus he he changed the picture he he said things that never been said before it was now not this is the blood of the Covenant as you knew it but he changed it he start he said this is my blood of the Covenant that had never been said before why did he change it because Jesus is the Passover Lamb that was slain for you and me so it was an everlasting thing that should happen again and again and again and again the same day the same month the same year the same time and it happened but now like every other Covenant we saw with circumcision cutting off the foreskin that is now our baptism and now we see that the Passover Lamb is now Christ so Jesus changed and say this is my blood of the Covenant which is poured out for many truly I tell you and then he said This truly I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the wine until that day when I drink it it it knew in the kingdom of God we often forget this part when they took the communion the Lord's supper with Christ they walk with him those three years they have walked with Jesus year after year they done it because it was Everlasting ordinance it was something they kept that Jews but this time he changed it and then he said this is the last time I do it in this evil age somehow I will dring it again in new with you in the kingdom of God one day Jesus will return and there they will share the Passover or communion with him again in the kingdom of God and and it's really beautiful when you see it that that try to imagine when we take communion we we should take it knowing that right now we are he's in heaven sitting beside God's right hand we he's away from us in that sense but one day we will sit with him in the New Kingdom and we will be able to eat with him Hallelujah but communion is is so much more than what we think that is that is Jesus is the Passover Lamb look look at just one thing he said here in in John six this is the bread which came down from heaven not as your your fathers did eat mana and all died but he who eat this bread shall live forever the Israelite was eating Mana in the desert the bread who came down from heaven and Jesus is is that bread that come down from heaven they ate and did not enter but we should eat and and hopefully enter and and communion is so much more than what many people have thought I want to continue here Corinthians 11 we read here that when Jesus did it Paul he said here I have received from the Lord what I also pass to you the Lord Jesus on that night he was betrayed took the bread and when he had given thanks he broke break it and said and that is the UNL bread he took the bread the UNL bread and said this is my body came down for heaven and we should eat I don't I don't say that it's not the Catholic teaching that it actually physical become the body of Christ and the blood of Christ in that sense but spiritual it is there is life in that there is life as important as baptism is as important is communion baptism is just a one time thing communion is something we continue to keep the the life in us um and he said this as you do it do it in Remembering of Exodus and how God that is not what he said until this day every time they took the pel what they took it in Remembering of how God saved Israel out of Egypt that was the what God Said do this year after year and they ask why why do we do it because you need to remember how God just the gods of e of Egypt and Sav the people out of of Egypt but he changes it he said now do it in Remembering of me so we are not looking we yes we're looking back to Exodus but we also looking back to the Cross we we are not just remembering Exodus because Exodus is a picture of the Cross we are looking back to the Cross but also Exodus is all become bigger and more great when you see the full picture and then he said do it in remembrance of me and then he he said this cup is the New Covenant in my blood every time you drink it do it in remembrance of me and then he said this for whoever eats this bread and drink this cup he proclaimed the Lord's death until he comes so when we take communion we are doing it with the focus of one day we will eat with him in the kingdom of God we are doing it with the focus that and we do it it until he comes it it it all point back it point back to the beginning he point back to the cross and he point Back to the Future that Jesus will come back again and I said there's so much more I can do a whole teaching about communion and that is as important as baptism but I I don't have time here but I already done the teaching some years ago six years ago in the Pioneer School I put a link up together this video on the online Pioneer School lesson 28 communion there I talked about communion so if you want to go in and look more communion I put a link in together with this video but what I say we have the past the present of the future so we have the Passover notice this which became the first day of the first month for the Israelites now we have Jesus our Passover lame and that become the first day of the first month for us the new birth is the beginning of us as born again Christian so so we see like the Israel and we see the church we see it's all connected communion is now not only a remembrance of Exodus and the Passover land but is also do it in Remembering of Jesus our Passover land we do it until that day he comes again on that day we will be with him and drink the new wine with him in the Kingdom of God in the New Jerusalem so this is beautiful but we need to be make sure that we are entering into that Kingdom and it's only those who are truly Born Again Jesus said who will enter into the kingdom many people take communion but they will not enter because they're not truly born again and don't don't understand what the gospel is truly about so so we let's look at it repentance and Faith they were told to first get the yeast out of their homes first get out of the homes before they slaughtered and eat the Passover Lamb and put the blood off the doorpost this is also the beginning of our Exodus we repent for our sins the yeast and then put our faith in Jesus our Passover Lamb as I said before there is no if there's no repentance the blood will have no effects let let's come with an example of the New Testament about how East and sin is connected and how it works sexual immorality defiles the church this is what Paul talking about in Corinthians 5 notice the words he's using here there's reporting that there's sexual immorality about amongst you in that kind that even the Pagan do not tolerate a man is sleeping with his wife the father's wife so there was sing in that church as we see today sadly and you are proud shouldn't you rather have gone into morning and have put out of your fellowship the man who have been doing this church discipline don't exist today almost there's people who are living in sin in the church and there is no church discipline Paul he was very strict there was people in your fellowship who was living sexual sin and you are proud you should have put him out why he continues he said that this man should be given over to Satan for destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be saved the day of the Lord so give him a time time to really repent and understand what it is and he said your boasting is not good and then he said this don't you know that a little yeast leav the whole bread of dough why do he only talk about he he talk about Sin in the church he said there sin in the Church you should not allow this sin and then he talk about yeast I'm a old baker I know yeast yeast I know how it work in the bread just a little yeast some salt it need salt in need sugar but don't put salt on the yeast because then you draw out the water and the yeast die salt Suter heat tempature how you do it I know all about yeast I did a report years ago as a baker it was actually one of the best grade I ever got yeast is like a man 75% water it had a brain that there's a lot of inter interesting thing with yeast but a small small yeast very small will fill up the whole lump and why do we talk about ye because it's a picture of sin as it was in the Old Testament get yeast out of your house and then apply the blood and then he continues he said that get rid of the old yeast do that mean that that we we in the church only need to eat bread without yeast no he's not talking about bread here he's talking about Sin here get rid of the sin put off that old life as I talk about in the last lesson and put on the new life get rid of the sin so that you may be unliving bread as you really are for CHR th our Passover land have be sacrificed get rid of the yeast sin why because Christ is our Passover lame and he said therefore let us keep the festival not with the old bread living with malice and wickedness but with UNL bread of sincerity and truth so so we need to keep the feast we need to understand what the Feast means and keep it in this way that we do what it says get sin out of your life notice here again get rid of the old yeast so that you may be a new UNL bread get rid of the yeast for Christ Our P lamb have been sacrificed so how how how are we saved out of Egypt the same off out this world the same way they were with the Passover and the UNL bread and the blood of the Lamb that is repentance and Faith but it did not stop there baptized to Christ they were baptized into Moses in the Red Sea and in the cloud in the Red Sea they were set free from the Egyptians likewise we are baptized into Christ and set free from the body of sin and death we Buri the old life once time for all baptism comes after repentance and faith and marks the new beginning of the journey so many many people in the churches have been baptized without that repentance without that faith and that Baptist is not a real Baptist it's just a pool party there's no life there's no transformation you cannot bury that old body if he's not crucified you cannot be baptized if you are not left Egypt if you're still in Egypt you cannot go through the Red Sea you had to come out of Egypt first for you to go to the Red Sea for the journey to start and that is where we need to Reb baptize many many many people because they don't understand it but there's not only one baptism there are baptized in the Red Sea and in the cloud we read that also in Corinthians here when Paul talked about we read before Corinthians 10 they were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea they were not only baptized to mos in the sea but also in the cloud likewise we are not only need to be baptized in water but also with Spirit and the what cloud is that that is the spirit of God we read that all through the Old Testament that God came in the form of a cloud we read here in Exodus the cloud covered the tent of meetings the glory of the Lord filled the tabernac Moses could not enter the T of mean because the cloud have settled on there and the glory of the Lord have filled the tabal so the cloud is is is the spirit we now receive the new birth as we had talked about in the other lessons and and as it wasn't that time so it is today and and as and I said before there's many believers who need to be baptized correctly and who need to receive the Holy Spirit as we read in in Acts 19 just Paul came to Ephesus he met some Believers some disciples do you receive the Holy Spirit when you believe or we are not heard about the Holy Spirit what bapti do baptist do you receive John the baptism and then he explain and after hearing this they were baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus and he placed hand on them and the Holy Spirit came over them and they spoke in tongues and prophesied this is the same today as we see there so make sure that you do not only listen to teaching of the kingdom of God make sure that it's not just about getting the full understanding we need that but we need even more to enter in enter into the kingdom of God we we have been preaching a different gospel in the churches when did people get baptized in the Bible after right away when they repented but but we don't see people do that today why don't we baptize people right away because we don't preach the same gospel as they did if we preach the same gospel we would do the same as they did and then there's people yeah let's baptize people right away but then they forget the UNL bread they forget the UNL Festival they forget repentance and and baptism become something else so so this is The Gospel According to Exodus this is the gospel the early disciples preaching this is the gospel we should preach today and we find that so clear in Exodus we need to repent and put our faith in the blood of Christ we need to be baptized in water and with the Holy Spirit and continue to follow the spirit to the Wilderness toward the destination the promised land it's not just being saved out it's ins in and I really hope this teaching will will help you to understand the gospel to preach the gospel but also to set your mind on the race and and say to yourself that I always ster a blood to my body so e my who preach for order I will not be disqualified I would not be like a boxer hitting out the air I will be somebody who go into strict training why because I'm going to run the race and I'm going to get the crown and and and that should be our attitude so what we' have been looking at now is The Gospel According to Exodus and I'll end up with this because what we have been looking at now is also the cross the cross is is is all point to the cross the cross is the sacrifice of our Passover L what do the cross represent the cross represent the death the burier and the resurrection now we need to die to sin bury our all death dead life and just as Christ was raised by the Holy Spirit we need to be raised up to a new life so we see the be the death the Buri the resurrection this is what Paul used in Romans 6 when he talked he used the same words do you not know all of us who are baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death so there we have the death we were therefore buried there we have the burier with him to the Baptist into death so in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead to the glory of the father we may live a new life so here we have the death the bury the resurrection and then he continues for we know that our old self have been crucified with him so here we have the crucifixion the death the Buri the Resurrection the crucifixion uh this all about the cross Jesus died we died to sin he was buried we bury our old body of Flesh he rose up again we received the Holy Spirit and we are raised up to a new life and this is how we should preach there was how they were preaching in Acts two repent and be baptize every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the Forgiveness of your sins that is the yeast out of your house and then the P lamb the death the cross and the Red Sea we see it all here and you will receive the gift of the holy spirit that is the cloud the pillow the pillar we are walking where God is guiding us to over the Wilderness toward the promised land and there we should have a different heart and a different Spirit like Caleb the promise is for you and your children all who is far off as many as the Lord our god with call and want to say again and and even it don't now now through the Wilderness what how do we survive that Wilderness out there we eat mana and we drink of the rock who are following and that rock is Christ that is the only way you can survive the Wilderness how do we survive our wilderness we eat the body body of Christ and we drink the blood or that is our communion it's not physical blood and wine but but it's life in him and we do that in remembrance of him and our Exodus and know that if we keep faithful one day we will not sit here taking communion and remember him one day we will sit with him in the kingdom of God and have communion with him again and if we do this remember him onto the day he comes again because the cross was not Jesus died got buried and rose up again and somehow disappeared the cross is that he died he rose up again he went to heaven sitting beside God's right hand and he will come back soon and bring Salvation to those who awaits him so that was the message I want to share today let's let's finish up here so we have the gospel of the Old Testament we have Moses the unliving get the yeast out the blood of the Passover Lamb the blood baptized into Moses in the sea and in the cloud now keeping the Passover in remembrance of how they were saved out of Egypt the go was the promised land that was that was that but that is all getting a new understanding in Christ so the gospel in the Old Testament the gospel in the new we have Jesus repentance and get sin out our Passover Lamb the blood of Jesus baptized into Christ and with the Holy Spirit keeping the Passover in remembrance of him he is the one save us out of Egypt called out last lesson out of Egypt out of Babylon the goal what is the goal the promised land the new Heaven and new earth new bodies the New Jerusalem so this is is what I wanted to share here so now we take up our cross we have it here we die to sin and repent we bury the body of sin and death in the water we receive the Holy Spirit which raise us up to a new life and we continue walking by the spirit toward the our reward when Jesus returns and we will then that day drink the wine new with him in the kingdom of God I want to say that the notes here like like every other thing this is to.com you find it there you also find on last information.com come but on the kingdom here you find every lesson and under every lesson year become a new beginning for you a fruitful year where you bear a lot of fruit and and really understand the gospel understand what it is but also be one who are entering into it that day thank you for listening and look forward to see you next time and there you go to come with questions if you have add to this lesson God I thank you for everyone who sees this God pray that you come with revelation God open their eyes to this God God let let let this bring true repentance to people's life let everyone examine theel to see if they have yeast sin in their life they need to get rid of God God let us keep the Passover in the right way God understand the blood of Jesus that we need to get sin out our life before the blood have it effect and let people in here understand that that to be safe is is is not just start the journey but is to finish God that that those who have not truly buried that old life in the water and have not received the Holy Spirit that they may receive it God come with your Holy Spirit and help us God to be those who have a full understanding of the Gospel of Kingdom but also enter into that Kingdom one day Jesus that we one day will be with you and take the the the Passover as a new thing in the kingdom of God where we know that that we have had the same heart as Caleb and we have been able to enter in come with your Holy Spirit and help us to be strong and and and speak to us God in the name of Jesus we thank you amen see you next time
