True Happiness - Mooji

  • 0:02 - 0:09
    Mooji - 30th March 2013 - London
  • 0:14 - 0:18
    What makes my soul smile..
  • 0:20 - 0:23
    Well...
  • 0:26 - 0:28
I don't know if anything outside of itself
  • 0:28 - 0:32
necessarily is required to make it smile
  • 0:32 - 0:36
It smiles from inside its own Self, you know?
  • 0:36 - 0:38
    So it's not like...
  • 0:38 - 0:42
    something outside is required to...
  • 0:43 - 0:45
    to say..trigger it
  • 0:45 - 0:51
so it's smiling...i think you can say it it smiling all the time, you know
  • 0:51 - 0:53
it is smiling all the time
  • 0:53 - 0:56
it doesn't necessarily have to show itself on the face that it's smiling
  • 0:56 - 0:58
but it is smiling all the time
  • 0:58 - 1:01
meaning that it is the natural state of joy
  • 1:01 - 1:03
    within one's own being
  • 1:03 - 1:06
and I feel that this is the natural state of all beings
  • 1:06 - 1:09
inwardly if they are not troubled by their mind
  • 1:09 - 1:11
if they don't give the mind
  • 1:11 - 1:17
their daily life, or personal sense of identity so much attention
  • 1:18 - 1:20
    they will find
  • 1:20 - 1:23
they will be happy inside themselves, they are
  • 1:23 - 1:25
If you want to use the word smiling
  • 1:25 - 1:27
    I think...it's a beautiful word
  • 1:27 - 1:29
    Smiling inside yourself
  • 1:29 - 1:32
    just happens like that
  • 1:34 - 1:36
And I wouldn't want to force it
  • 1:36 - 1:37
because it doesn't happen like that
  • 1:37 - 1:39
    that you just
  • 1:39 - 1:41
have this one kind of constant remark
  • 1:41 - 1:42
    to be making
  • 1:42 - 1:45
    but I would encourage also
  • 1:45 - 1:47
the people to look towards that
  • 1:47 - 1:49
because it's not really that it is so
  • 1:49 - 1:51
far away from themselves in fact
  • 1:51 - 1:53
    this is just immagination
  • 1:53 - 1:55
    in fact...like that
  • 1:55 - 1:57
but if it was not appropriate to say that
  • 1:57 - 2:00
    you know? I don't know
  • 2:04 - 2:06
everything depends upon a kind of openness
  • 2:06 - 2:10
some people are at a crossroads in their life
  • 2:10 - 2:12
and it's a defining moment for them
  • 2:12 - 2:14
    like this
  • 2:14 - 2:17
I would want to say also
  • 2:18 - 2:21
    don't take things too personally
  • 2:21 - 2:23
if you can hear that, you see?
  • 2:23 - 2:26
because always where there is a kind of person
  • 2:26 - 2:28
too much thinking of yourself like a person
  • 2:28 - 2:30
    then right there always
  • 2:30 - 2:31
    some trouble come
  • 2:31 - 2:35
because I don't feel we need to take life so personally
  • 2:35 - 2:38
I think that's the mistake we make
  • 2:38 - 2:40
    and due to
  • 2:40 - 2:43
an ill conceived idea of who we are
  • 2:43 - 2:46
we do take the life too...
  • 2:46 - 2:48
    almost like a threat
  • 2:48 - 2:50
it comes about because the people
  • 2:50 - 2:53
then feel that life is so unfair
  • 2:54 - 2:57
it can feel like that to them
  • 2:57 - 3:00
    or it is so demanding
  • 3:01 - 3:04
and we don't know how we can respond
  • 3:04 - 3:06
    from a place of Truth
  • 3:07 - 3:09
    and really be happy
  • 3:09 - 3:11
    It's almost like, some circumstances
  • 3:11 - 3:12
    situations come
  • 3:12 - 3:15
and we are not able to be happy in them
  • 3:15 - 3:17
I say that's not necessarily true
  • 3:17 - 3:20
    and anyway about happiness
  • 3:20 - 3:22
i don't mean the happiness which is
  • 3:22 - 3:23
    the superficial happiness
  • 3:23 - 3:25
    not pretending to be happy
  • 3:25 - 3:29
so there's a happiness that is so broad
  • 3:29 - 3:31
that on the surface it can look like you are deep in thought
  • 3:31 - 3:33
    or something like that
  • 3:33 - 3:34
    but underlying that
  • 3:34 - 3:36
there can be a beautiful space
  • 3:36 - 3:38
    which I call joy or
  • 3:39 - 3:41
    peace
  • 3:41 - 3:43
a loving state, at the same time
  • 3:44 - 3:46
we sometimes feel that we cannot
  • 3:46 - 3:48
    have these two states:
  • 3:48 - 3:50
either you are unhappy or you are happy
  • 3:50 - 3:52
I say it's not like that
  • 3:52 - 3:55
the natural state is to be joyful
  • 3:55 - 3:56
    not necessarily joyful about
  • 3:56 - 3:58
    any particular thing
  • 3:58 - 3:59
but just the joy of Being
  • 3:59 - 4:02
    that is our natural state
  • 4:02 - 4:03
    so...
  • 4:04 - 4:06
    I feel that again
  • 4:06 - 4:08
coming back to the point that I made
  • 4:08 - 4:12
very often I think people put too much energy
  • 4:12 - 4:15
    perceiving life personally
  • 4:15 - 4:17
    and then also problematically
  • 4:17 - 4:20
    that something is a problem
  • 4:20 - 4:22
and why this happend to me
  • 4:22 - 4:27
and get caught up too much into that type of traffic
  • 4:27 - 4:29
so if I could and there was oppenness
  • 4:29 - 4:30
    I may find myself saying
  • 4:30 - 4:33
"Listen, don't take it so seriously"
  • 4:33 - 4:35
    It's also passing
  • 4:35 - 4:38
    Everything is passing
  • 4:39 - 4:42
    That would be probably
  • 4:42 - 4:43
one of the things I would say
  • 4:43 - 4:45
don't identify so strongly with anything
  • 4:45 - 4:47
    because
  • 4:47 - 4:48
it's just life, it's just moving on
  • 4:48 - 4:50
    you know?
  • 4:50 - 4:52
That again is not easy though
  • 4:52 - 4:54
because again when we take things personally
  • 4:54 - 4:56
    we become very very serious
  • 4:56 - 4:58
and then if someone says to you
  • 4:58 - 5:00
"Listen, relax a little bit" you know..
  • 5:00 - 5:02
"Pull back and learn to observe"
  • 5:02 - 5:04
"a bit more what's going on"
  • 5:04 - 5:08
"Rather than being so quick to identify"
  • 5:08 - 5:10
    - Then some people will hear that
  • 5:10 - 5:11
    and make use of it
  • 5:11 - 5:13
and see actually the beauty in that
  • 5:13 - 5:15
    to take some space meaning
  • 5:15 - 5:17
to become a bit more detached
  • 5:17 - 5:20
and that sometimes things are not really as bad
  • 5:20 - 5:23
as they initially appear to be
  • 5:23 - 5:26
so if you are able to observe
  • 5:26 - 5:27
you may come to see that...
  • 5:27 - 5:30
    some reactions may happen
  • 5:30 - 5:32
but you don't identify with those deeply as well
  • 5:32 - 5:36
and then a clearer space comes, like that
  • 5:37 - 5:39
I feel that there's a place for grief
  • 5:39 - 5:41
    if someone is grieving
  • 5:41 - 5:43
I feel that there is totally a space for grief also
  • 5:43 - 5:45
I may not want to go to intrude
  • 5:45 - 5:47
and even somehow to say something
  • 5:47 - 5:49
to try and get people out of grief
  • 5:49 - 5:51
I think grief is a very credible
  • 5:51 - 5:54
    experience and feeling also
  • 5:54 - 5:56
so that if somebody is grieving
  • 5:56 - 5:58
    I think there's a room
  • 5:58 - 5:59
    I mean I don't feel that there's a..
  • 5:59 - 6:02
that we have to be happy all the time in that sense
  • 6:02 - 6:04
    - that you know, if somebody is looking sad
  • 6:04 - 6:05
there's no space for that -
  • 6:05 - 6:07
I think there's tremendous space for that
  • 6:07 - 6:11
because sometimes out of this experiencing sadness
  • 6:11 - 6:13
    can be someone's opportunity
  • 6:13 - 6:15
to face some things in themselves
  • 6:15 - 6:18
that they have not so far been looking at
  • 6:18 - 6:20
so there has to be space for that
  • 6:20 - 6:22
so I would only really want to
  • 6:22 - 6:25
    - I don't know if the word is to "console" someone -
  • 6:25 - 6:27
    If I felt that somehow
  • 6:27 - 6:29
    they were slipping away
  • 6:29 - 6:35
from a place which I would have to intuit in my own Heart
  • 6:35 - 6:36
    that they are slipping off
  • 6:36 - 6:38
    and they really do need
  • 6:38 - 6:40
    you know, some contact
  • 6:40 - 6:42
that can actually help to bring them back
  • 6:42 - 6:45
    to a stable..to some balance
  • 6:45 - 6:48
because it doesn't do good to anybody to just be drifting off
  • 6:48 - 6:51
to deep sorrow and get lost in that and so on
  • 6:51 - 6:53
    that's not good
  • 6:53 - 6:56
*I would like to feel that,
  • 6:56 - 6:59
    There are some beings
  • 6:59 - 7:04
who fully understand in the Heart.
    what is being pointed.
  • 7:04 - 7:07
    And come alive
    in that understanding.
  • 7:07 - 7:10
    And continue to share
    from their place of seeing,
  • 7:10 - 7:13
    and from that beautiful discovery
    with other beings;
  • 7:13 - 7:17
    because I feel that
    that is an authentic sharing
  • 7:17 - 7:21
    in the human kingdom.
  • 7:21 - 7:28
    Being free from the hypnosis
    of conditioning
  • 7:28 - 7:30
    is the biggest smile.
  • 7:30 - 7:33
    You're going to feel in your life;
  • 7:33 - 7:35
    because as long as
    we are holding on to
  • 7:35 - 7:38
    ideas about who we are
    which are not true;
  • 7:38 - 7:40
    then you cannot really smile
    with your Heart.
  • 7:40 - 7:42
I mean you may have a laugh,
  • 7:42 - 7:44
    You may have a joke,
  • 7:44 - 7:46
    but I don't think that
    you are asking that question.
  • 7:46 - 7:49
    Just like a momentary smile;
  • 7:49 - 7:51
Because even the most miserable person
    in the world
  • 7:51 - 7:53
    must have a smile
    every now and again.
  • 7:53 - 7:56
But I think you are asking
and I'm responding to your question,
  • 7:56 - 7:57
    like something very profound,
  • 7:57 - 7:59
    that really brings a smile,
    that comes,
  • 7:59 - 8:02
    that begins in the Heart
    and shines.
  • 8:02 - 8:05
    You know just as,
  • 8:05 - 8:08
    Unquestionable joy
    from your Heart.
  • 8:08 - 8:10
    I would have to say that;
  • 8:10 - 8:12
    It is someone who has
    found themselves.
  • 8:12 - 8:14
    someone who realises
  • 8:14 - 8:16
the Truth of what we are.
  • 8:16 - 8:20
rather than what we have been conditioned
    to believe we are.
  • 8:20 - 8:21
    And this is totally totally
    possible.
  • 8:21 - 8:24
    My line of expression,
    you may say,
  • 8:24 - 8:26
    it's only for that;
  • 8:26 - 8:29
    because we see the outcome
  • 8:29 - 8:31
    of not recognizing that.
  • 8:31 - 8:36
That we do so many crazy things
    in this world.
  • 8:36 - 8:38
    And hurt ourselves
    and other beings.
  • 8:38 - 8:41
    so someone to realize,
    to recognize
  • 8:41 - 8:45
    again their true nature
  • 8:45 - 8:48
    that is...uffff!
  • 8:48 - 8:51
    You are smiling
    in every being!
  • 8:51 - 8:52
    It's very infectious
    to find somebody
  • 8:52 - 8:55
    who's happy like that.
  • 8:55 - 8:58
    Who's happy
but it's not about a joke.
  • 8:58 - 8:59
    You understand?
  • 8:59 - 9:01
    Who's just happy!
  • 9:01 - 9:02
    Because, why?
  • 9:02 - 9:04
    "Why are you happy?"
    I don't know!
  • 9:04 - 9:06
    I cannot even say
    why I'm happy!
  • 9:06 - 9:08
    That is the best kind
    of happy!
  • 9:08 - 9:10
    When you cannot even say
    why you are happy.
  • 9:10 - 9:11
    If you can say
    why you are happy,
  • 9:11 - 9:14
    then your happiness
    is going to finish soon.
  • 9:14 - 9:16
    When you don't know
    why you are happy,
  • 9:16 - 9:19
you just can't help being happy.
  • 9:19 - 9:21
You even try to be sad
    you can't succeed;
  • 9:21 - 9:24
    Because your light is so...on!
  • 9:24 - 9:27
    That is happiness for me.
  • 9:27 - 9:31
    And that happiness
I'd love to see in human beings.
  • 9:31 - 9:33
    Not just human beings.
  • 9:33 - 9:34
I'd like to see a dog happy!
  • 9:34 - 9:36
I want to see a happy dog!
  • 9:36 - 9:38
Dogs smile also if he's happy.
  • 9:38 - 9:40
    I even see birds happy!
  • 9:40 - 9:41
    I see them happy.
  • 9:41 - 9:42
    I see how they behave.
  • 9:42 - 9:44
    I don't know
    what they are happy about,
  • 9:44 - 9:46
    but they are happy somehow;
  • 9:46 - 9:48
    because for me
I cannot explain any other thing
  • 9:48 - 9:49
    than to say:
  • 9:49 - 9:53
    because they are life!
  • 9:53 - 9:54
    I am life!
  • 9:54 - 9:56
    I'm not even living life,
  • 9:56 - 9:59
    I am life!
  • 9:59 - 10:02
    We are life!
  • 10:02 - 10:05
    And in that joy...
  • 10:05 - 10:08
I don't want to tell the people:
    "Be happy".
  • 10:08 - 10:10
I don't want to trouble you!
  • 10:10 - 10:12
    To tell you "be happy"
  • 10:12 - 10:14
I just want to tell you:
  • 10:14 - 10:17
    "you are love"
  • 10:17 - 10:18
    "You are ok"
  • 10:18 - 10:21
    I say I don't want to
    remind the world
  • 10:21 - 10:24
    that it is suffering
    and that it is unhappy.
  • 10:24 - 10:28
I want to remind the world
that it is beautiful and free.
  • 10:28 - 10:31
    Because people forget this.
  • 10:31 - 10:34
    We are not here
    just to struggle,
  • 10:34 - 10:37
    Or to party.
    I'm not here to party
  • 10:37 - 10:40
    I'm not interested in partying,
    I've done enough partying.
  • 10:40 - 10:43
    It's not partying.
  • 10:43 - 10:48
I don't even want to say,
I'm here to celebrate life even.
  • 10:48 - 10:50
    I'm just here,
    and it's enough.
  • 10:50 - 10:53
    My here is enough!
  • 10:53 - 10:57
But I'm happy inside my Heart.
  • 10:57 - 10:59
    And everything that it's inside,
  • 10:59 - 11:01
    every cell in my body
  • 11:01 - 11:08
is dancing to see that joy
    in other beings.
  • 11:08 - 11:13
So I don't know where to go.
  • 11:13 - 11:18
I don't know where to go
    with that joy.
  • 11:18 - 11:23
    I don't know where
I can be without that joy.
  • 11:23 - 11:30
    And so something inside,
  • 11:30 - 11:34
    I don't know
    what compels me
  • 11:34 - 11:39
    or compels this body to
  • 11:39 - 11:43
    to try and somehow remind;
  • 11:43 - 11:45
because I cannot create you see.
  • 11:45 - 11:47
I can only remind you that
  • 11:47 - 11:49
    that joy is inside you.
  • 11:49 - 11:52
And sometimes we have to work
    a bit at it.
  • 11:52 - 11:54
    sometimes you have to
    remind someone,
  • 11:54 - 11:55
    listen "let go of this!"
  • 11:55 - 11:58
    Sometimes I'll even push you.
  • 11:58 - 12:00
    I say "What you're doing!
    You are crazy?"
  • 12:00 - 12:01
    "Leave this alone!"
  • 12:01 - 12:04
    "You know you're just
    messing yourself up!"
  • 12:04 - 12:09
    Just to allow your light
    to shine again.
  • 12:13 - 12:16
    I don't see any other thing;
  • 12:16 - 12:19
    because pleasure
    you can find,
  • 12:19 - 12:21
    but happiness seems rare.
  • 12:21 - 12:22
    And yet I say that,
  • 12:22 - 12:25
our Being is happy, by nature,
    I know it.
  • 12:25 - 12:27
    It's not my belief.
  • 12:27 - 12:29
    I don't believe these things.
  • 12:29 - 12:32
I know it, I am it.
  • 12:32 - 12:36
If I am it, I'm no more special
    than any other human being.
  • 12:36 - 12:40
    Than you must be it.
  • 12:40 - 12:42
And that is not a supposition
  • 12:42 - 12:45
    that is an affirmation
  • 12:45 - 12:47
    that you are That!
  • 12:47 - 12:51
But I know that it's not enough
    just to say these things
  • 12:51 - 12:56
Your life has to be the evidence
of what you say it's true
  • 12:56 - 12:58
    I'm not going about
    trying to be happy
  • 12:58 - 13:01
    I don't have to
    try to be happy
  • 13:01 - 13:04
    I failed miserable
    at being unhappy
  • 13:04 - 13:07
    I can't be unhappy
  • 13:07 - 13:08
    you understand?
  • 13:08 - 13:10
    That's the one thing
    I can say I fail
  • 13:10 - 13:12
    I don't even fail
    because I don't even try
  • 13:12 - 13:14
Why would I try to be unhappy?
  • 13:14 - 13:19
    But it's just there.
  • 13:19 - 13:22
    And...it's like that
  • 13:22 - 13:25
    It is like that
  • 13:25 - 13:29
    So in summarizing it,
I would just say to be
  • 13:29 - 13:31
    to discover one's Self
  • 13:31 - 13:33
    Because if you don't
  • 13:33 - 13:34
    then whatever happens
  • 13:34 - 13:37
as we find in this world,
    it's momentary
  • 13:37 - 13:39
    but when you are again
  • 13:39 - 13:43
    I would say that
when your mind and your heart connect
  • 13:43 - 13:45
    then the lights go on
  • 13:45 - 13:50
I think this is the light
    you are talking about
  • 13:54 - 13:58
    sometimes we see it
    in the face of children
  • 13:58 - 14:01
    but it's only a spark
  • 14:01 - 14:06
    even they cannot keep it
  • 14:06 - 14:09
    it comes really with
  • 14:09 - 14:11
    coming home
  • 14:11 - 14:13
I would put it like that
  • 14:13 - 14:14
and I don't want to feel
  • 14:14 - 14:17
    that it's too much
to put in front of a human being
  • 14:17 - 14:23
    because then I would be
    insulting human beings
  • 14:23 - 14:25
Does it take a bit of work?
  • 14:25 - 14:28
    Yes, in the beginning
it takes a bit of work
  • 14:28 - 14:30
not because It itself is work
  • 14:30 - 14:32
    It itself is not work
  • 14:32 - 14:35
    but because we have put
    too much attention
  • 14:35 - 14:38
    on the wrong things
  • 14:38 - 14:40
then it takes a bit of work
  • 14:40 - 14:43
    just to turn your attention
    back a little bit
  • 14:43 - 14:46
but as soon as we begin to
    discover again our original joy
  • 14:46 - 14:48
    we don't need any encouragement
  • 14:48 - 14:50
    that's enough encouragement
    already
  • 14:50 - 14:52
    you know you're
    onto a winner somehow
  • 14:52 - 14:54
and you just want to be there
  • 14:54 - 14:55
    life pulls you
  • 14:55 - 15:00
    it embraces you
    and pulls you inside
  • 15:00 - 15:01
but if you don't know of it
    before
  • 15:01 - 15:04
    like one time
i was not aware of that
  • 15:04 - 15:07
so my life was momentary joys
  • 15:07 - 15:08
    momentary pleasures
  • 15:08 - 15:11
    momentary sadness
    and whatever
  • 15:11 - 15:14
    but this I received,
    what I call like
  • 15:14 - 15:17
    a kiss from within myself
  • 15:17 - 15:20
    and that just completely
    devastated me
  • 15:20 - 15:22
    in the most beautiful way,
    you understand?
  • 15:22 - 15:26
I mean I couldn't carry on my life
    how I was before
  • 15:26 - 15:28
    it just started to change
  • 15:28 - 15:30
    and it's the best change
  • 15:30 - 15:31
    and it's still changing
  • 15:31 - 15:34
    even on the surface
    it's still changing
  • 15:34 - 15:38
    but something inside
    is not changing
  • 15:38 - 15:41
and there is that duality in life
  • 15:41 - 15:45
    something is changing
    and something is not changing
  • 15:45 - 15:49
    and I've found that
    which is not changing
  • 15:49 - 15:52
    and then what is changeful,
    I can enjoy now
  • 15:52 - 15:55
before I was a bit more afraid
    of what is changing
  • 15:55 - 15:58
    now i'm not afraid
    of what is changing
  • 15:58 - 16:02
    'cause you find
    what is not changing
  • 16:02 - 16:06
    and that's a smile
that is not made just with your lips
  • 16:06 - 16:07
    or with your mouth
  • 16:07 - 16:09
it's made with your whole being
  • 16:09 - 16:14
    and joy is that smile
  • 16:17 - 16:19
    satsang is one of
    the very few
  • 16:19 - 16:22
    and authentic environments
    for me
  • 16:22 - 16:25
I know in one way you are sitting
in front of a lot of people
  • 16:25 - 16:27
what is so authentic about it!
  • 16:27 - 16:29
    It looks a bit formal
  • 16:29 - 16:30
    if we could have
    it another way
  • 16:30 - 16:32
    it would be another way
  • 16:32 - 16:34
    but the fact is that
    is what we do
  • 16:34 - 16:37
we are looking into the subject
    of who we are
  • 16:37 - 16:42
    on a firm recognition
  • 16:42 - 16:46
that the discovery is worth it.
  • 16:46 - 16:50
and so there's a joy in that
  • 16:50 - 16:51
    when we are looking
  • 16:51 - 16:54
    because we mostly seem
    to have forgotten that
  • 16:54 - 16:55
    sometimes fears come up
  • 16:55 - 16:57
    because people feel
    "Oh my God!"
  • 16:57 - 17:01
Because we have invested so much
to become something we are not
  • 17:01 - 17:04
when is time to return to
    what we are
  • 17:04 - 17:07
we are afraid of giving up
    the something we are not
  • 17:07 - 17:09
    but that's life also
  • 17:09 - 17:11
    a bit of pain
    has to be there
  • 17:11 - 17:15
but only so much that is necessary
    to return you
  • 17:15 - 17:21
    to your painless truth
  • 17:21 - 17:28
    that would be
    my take on that one
  • 17:28 - 17:30
    I want to say,
if I have to say something
  • 17:30 - 17:35
    that whatever happens
    everything is ok
  • 17:35 - 17:38
    whatever happens
  • 17:38 - 17:39
    the final word is
  • 17:39 - 17:43
    Everything is ok,
    inside the Heart
  • 17:43 - 17:45
    Something takes care of you
  • 17:45 - 17:48
    whatever it is that happens
  • 17:48 - 17:52
    I know that...
  • 17:52 - 17:54
even if it comes to losing people
    close to you
  • 17:54 - 17:58
I've lost my son, I've lost my sister,
    my brother and so on
  • 17:58 - 18:00
and friends you grow up with
  • 18:00 - 18:01
    you reach my age
  • 18:01 - 18:04
you start to find a lot more people
    around you are passing away
  • 18:04 - 18:08
    people you have shared
    very closely with them
  • 18:08 - 18:10
you feel the pain of that
  • 18:10 - 18:13
    and also sometimes
  • 18:13 - 18:15
    with things going on
    inside this body
  • 18:15 - 18:17
    you go to the doctor
  • 18:17 - 18:19
    any moment they could be
    telling you,
  • 18:19 - 18:21
    like you got this
    prostate cancer or something
  • 18:21 - 18:25
    you are like ...
    something is ready for that
  • 18:25 - 18:30
and then you begin to see
    it's all momentary
  • 18:30 - 18:32
    all of this
  • 18:32 - 18:35
    you put so much energy
  • 18:35 - 18:37
    but you cannot keep it
  • 18:37 - 18:41
because even the body that you need
    to enjoy you cannot keep
  • 18:41 - 18:46
and it's a time when you reach
a certain level of seeing inside yourself
  • 18:46 - 18:50
    that everything is passing by
  • 18:50 - 18:54
and you grow up very quickly.
  • 18:54 - 18:56
you grow up very very quickly
  • 18:56 - 18:58
to the point where you know
  • 18:58 - 18:59
    like I said in satsang
  • 18:59 - 19:02
    that I am
  • 19:02 - 19:05
    I don't have a future
  • 19:05 - 19:07
    therefore I'm supremely happy
  • 19:07 - 19:09
    I'm not concerned at all
  • 19:09 - 19:10
    like my happiness
    is next week
  • 19:10 - 19:12
    or something is happening
  • 19:12 - 19:14
    I'm just here now
  • 19:14 - 19:17
    and there's a fullness a richness
    about that
  • 19:17 - 19:20
    because I know the reality
    that tomorrow may not come
  • 19:20 - 19:23
    in terms of...you know...
  • 19:23 - 19:26
    we live on
    a lot of projections
  • 19:26 - 19:29
People say "oh you know next year,
    I'm going to do this"
  • 19:29 - 19:31
    and for me that's
    a "Wow, really?"
  • 19:31 - 19:32
I don't know what that is.
  • 19:32 - 19:35
    I only know
next year doesn't exist for me.
  • 19:35 - 19:37
Last year doesn't exist for me.
  • 19:37 - 19:39
    yesterday also.
  • 19:39 - 19:43
I have to try to catch my memory
    about what yesterday was.
  • 19:43 - 19:48
    It doesn't have any real.
    life in itself.
  • 19:48 - 19:53
    I found something which has
no yesterdays and no tomorrows about it.
  • 19:53 - 19:57
    It doesn't even have
    a today about it.
  • 19:57 - 20:02
    That has been
    the most beautiful discovery,
  • 20:02 - 20:04
    but I can't discuss that.
  • 20:04 - 20:06
    I can
but it's not really worth it.
  • 20:06 - 20:09
But it comes a time when there are people
    who just understand that.
  • 20:09 - 20:12
    I don't know, they have a way
    of just understanding these things
  • 20:12 - 20:14
    and they say
"Hey, I'm on board with that"
  • 20:14 - 20:19
    "I'm here with you"
  • 20:19 - 20:24
But it will be like that:
    whatever happens, whatever happens
  • 20:24 - 20:29
Especially if you can just pay attention
    that everything comes and goes.
  • 20:29 - 20:32
    Everything comes and goes.
  • 20:32 - 20:34
    Everything comes and goes.
  • 20:34 - 20:37
even this body is going to
    come and go.
  • 20:37 - 20:43
    But something will witness also
    this body coming and going.
  • 20:43 - 20:49
And I say that you are ok.
  • 20:49 - 20:50
    yes
  • 20:50 - 20:52
Q: Namaste, thank you so much.
