Breathing in, I know I have a body,
-
and our body is a wonder.
-
So you can enjoy having a body.
-
While breathing in, if we notice
that there is tension in our body,
-
then while breathing out,
-
we may like to allow the tension
to be released from our body.
-
Breathing in, I am aware of my body
and the tension in the body.
-
Breathing out,
I release the tension in my body.

(Half bell)
-
Breathing in,
I am aware of the element earth
-
in me.
-
Breathing out,
I am aware of the element water in me.
-
Breathing in,
I am aware of the element fire in me.
-
Breathing out,
I am aware of the element air in me.
-
I am made of these four elements.
-
These four elements
are inside of me and outside of me.

(Half bell)
-
Breathing in, I know this body is not me.
-
This body is made of the four elements.
-
This body made of non-body elements.
-
I am much more than these elements.
-
I have done many good things,
-
and I continue with
the good things I have done.

(Half bell)
-
Breathing in, I know I am alive.
-
Breathing out, I smile to life,
in me and around me.
-
A person that is already dead,
does not breathe anymore.
-
So just breathing in, to touch the wonder,
-
the fact that you are alive.
-
And that insight liberates you
from forgetfulness, anger, fear,
-
because life is so precious.
-
That is the celebration of life.
