Sharing Dance Choreography. -

where we finished at the end of part one. -
0:27 - 0:30So we had this beautiful
exploration of the space. -
0:30 - 0:33We made a connection
to our traditional territories, -
0:33 - 0:35to the place where we're
going to dance today. -
0:36 - 0:38And then we rolled up
through our bodies, -
0:38 - 0:41and we found a sense of
reach and openness -
0:41 - 0:45through our upper body,
observing the space around us. -
0:46 - 0:49So that's where we're going
to begin learning new material today -
0:49 - 0:52is from that point where
we've stretched out in the space. -
0:53 - 0:54And this is the first moment
-
0:54 - 0:57we're going to hear the beat
of the music, which is fantastic. -
0:57 - 0:59So when the music starts,
-
0:59 - 1:03you're first going to a pulse,
and then you'll hear the beat drop. -
1:03 - 1:05You'll hear an obvious "boom, boom, boom"
-
1:05 - 1:07kind of the beginning
of our counting phrase. -
1:08 - 1:12So we're going to help you really hear
that point in time in the music. -
1:13 - 1:15Whether you're dancing
from a seated position -
1:15 - 1:16or from a standing position,
-
1:16 - 1:18just make sure that you're
really grounded in the space, -
1:19 - 1:23that you're aware of your space
and the space of those around you. -
1:23 - 1:27And we'll get ready to have
a fun time learning together today. -
