-
We know that...
-
fear is in us,
-
in the form of a seed.
-
And every time
-
that seed is...
-
watered,
-
maybe a sound,
-
maybe a sight,
-
anything can touch...
-
that kind of seed in us,
-
and then the energy of fear
will overwhelm us.
-
And that seed of fear may have been
transmitted to us by our parents
-
when we were still a child.
-
Because they themselves may live in fear.
-
Our parents love us,
they didn't want to...
-
transmit that...
-
seed of fear to us.
-
But they transmit it anyway.
-
So now we are a victim of transmission,
and we would like to...
-
end it
-
so that we will not transmit
the seed of fear to our children,
-
to our disciples, and so on.
-
The first thing that we should know,
-
that although fear is in us,...
-
The seed of fear is in us,
-
but the opposite of the seed
is also in us.
-
The seed of non-fear,
-
the seed of freedom,
-
(or) the seed of understanding,
-
is also in us.
-
But no one has helped us
to identify that seed
-
and to practice watering that seed.
-
That is why....
-
the opposite of fear in us
has not been...
-
manifested in our daily life.
-
And with fear in us,
we do not have confidence
-
in our own ability to love
-
and to serve.
-
And therefore, we have
to learn ways in order to...
-
not only to diminish that fear,
-
but to cultivate...
-
the energy of non-fear,
-
the energy of confidence,
-
the energy of solidity,
-
in order for our love to be substantial.
-
And mindfulness helps you
to touch the elements of solidity
-
that are available
in you and around you.
-
And you don't have to fight your fear.
-
You embrace your fear only.
