-
in my team there is still a big problem and I must sort it out , - The hitter spikes out the ball because it was not set well-
-
and so what does he do?
-
which means that the next time he wants the ball higher and closer to the net
-
so the setter turns to the receiver and says
-
" I want the ball here"
-
"because if you don’t receive well I can’t be precise and then the hitter spikes out"
-
then the receivers turn around to find someone
to blame
-
but they receive the service from the other team and they can’t ask to serve in an easier way!! In this way the game ends.
-
So, the new rule is: "the hitters don’t speak about how to set the ball, but they sort it out! They don’t complaint about it!!"
-
Now I have a new issue, because the hitters don’t say anymore "I want the ball in that way" because they know I'm listening them,
-
but every time that the set is good they say “It was perfect!!!”
-
They don’t say that that the previous one was bad, but of course, saying that THIS SET was perfect it means that the previous one was bad
-
So at the end, they keep speaking about the set and I get nervous!
-
Because they keep speaking about the set...
-
the hitters are expert on how to set a ball...they know everything about it!
-
Even at the pub they discuss about the setters.
-
But there is just the same and little problem..they are hitters, not setters!!
-
I WANT HITTERS THAT ATTACK WELL EVEN WHEN THE BALLS ARE SET BADLY!!
-
because I know that these players hit VERY WELL when the balls are raised good.
-
SO WE DON'T SPEAK ABOUT THE MISTAKES... WE SOLVE IT!!
-
If I receive a low ball, my brain - that is an amazing computer -
-
should open the file entitled "low balls" and find the right solution
-
which won't be, for sure, attack that ball like it was high!!
-
If, when the ball is low, he doesn’t use his brain to find a solution or opens the file "set"
-
it's clear he won’t fix the problem, because he is waisting his time thinking about the ball "always" too low!!
-
YOU ARE MY HITTERS!! KEEP SCORING EVEN WITH LOW BALLS!
