The Panasonic Whisper Fan is one of the quietest crawl space ventilation fans on the market and the features and benefits it provides are top notch.

When we ventilate a crawl space we use a ventilation fan to push air out of the crawl space. You can use ducting and a dryer vent to push air to the outside.

The WhisperLine fan installs in 5 different positions and includes all of the mounting hardware you need to install it in a convenient location. It installs in about 10-15 minutes or if you happen to be located within 45 minutes of our Knoxville, TN office, we would be more than happy to come out and install it for you.

ninja comm and today I want to talk to

you about ventilation okay there's a lot

of people a lot of confusion have

questions about should I ventilate my

crawlspace what should I use different

things like that so today we want to

share with you our whisper fan

technology this is a product developed

by Panasonic and we have it available at

our DIY store but one of the things I

want to go over with you is this is a

super quiet fan so if you're sensitive

to noise and we do have customers that

are sensitive to noise this is a great

alternative to ventilating the

crawlspace I'm going to show you some of

the hardware we use when ventilating the

crawlspace but this fan can be used

anywhere this fan can be used in the

bathroom if you're trying to move air in

a dead air space of a basement or

anything like that it's it's a multi-use

fan so don't just think it's only for

the crawlspace I

we've got experience with these these

fans and bathrooms and they're loud you

turn them on and they make a lot of

noise and all that you'll never hear

this it just if you've got a bathroom

you can hook it up in the attic but what

I want to go over today is how to use it

in the crawlspace so it comes with the

hardware that allows you to mount in

these little brackets that are on the

sides and you can attach it to the

subfloor of the crawlspace it comes with

all the instructions to do that it's got

a four inch input and output so you can

run a line to the whisper fan and then

take it this is the best part if you

don't have vents in the crawlspace you

can actually hook up a dryer vent export

and you can use it to blow air out of

the crawlspace or intake air into the

crawlspace whatever it is you're trying

to accomplish so we sell this as a kit

or you can just purchase the whisper fan

on its own and then run it out of a

current vent now what we typically would

do in a situation if we're encapsulating

the crawlspace is we would have this

unit blow air out not pull air in so

we're trying to alleviate radon and soil

gases and things like that it's 120

CFM it's got enough power to do over a

5,000 square foot crawlspace according

to the EPA and their recommendations for

ventilating an encapsulated crawlspace
