    this machine has a couple settings that

    you want to look at before you jump
  • Not Synced
    right in. First thing you want to do is

    make sure you’re using a weight that you
  • Not Synced
    can do. Then you're going to sit down and
  • Not Synced
    you want to sit so that when you start
  • Not Synced
    the exercise, you're as close to a 90
  • Not Synced
    degree angle as possible with your
  • Not Synced
    elbows because if you start too low you
  • Not Synced
    can put a lot of pressure on your
  • Not Synced
    shoulder and your rotator cuff where it
  • Not Synced
    doesn't need to be. The exercise is only
  • Not Synced
    from 90 degrees and up. So you want to start
  • Not Synced
    as close to that as possible. Right now
  • Not Synced
    you can see that the seats pretty high and
  • Not Synced
    I'd have to push the weights all the way
  • Not Synced
    to here just to do the exercise from there
  • Not Synced
    to there. So what I’m going to do is
  • Not Synced
    lower the seat, five. See how that looks.

    Perfect.

    Now what you're going to do, and this is
  • Not Synced
    the most important part, is you have to
  • Not Synced
    make sure your elbows are forward and in
  • Not Synced
    line with your hips at all times because
  • Not Synced
    that's going to bring all the muscles
  • Not Synced
    back here into play. What you're going to
  • Not Synced
    do. Put your hands on the arm handles
  • Not Synced
    like this. Keep your wrists straight,
  • Not Synced
    maintain a neutral spine.
  • Not Synced
    Get to the starting position, which is 90
  • Not Synced
    degrees, and then push straight up. Keep a
  • Not Synced
    slight bend in your elbows. Keep your
  • Not Synced
    elbows forward and aligned with your
  • Not Synced
    hips. Keep your core tight. Come down 90
  • Not Synced
    degrees. Straight up. Breathe out as you
  • Not Synced
    come up.
  • Not Synced
    Down.
  • Not Synced
    Up.
  • Not Synced
    Down.
  • Not Synced
    Up. There's one more way to this machine.

    You also take your hands and grab on the
  • Not Synced
    inside of the handles. Same thing, keep
  • Not Synced
    your elbows in line with your hips. Keep
  • Not Synced
    your wrist straight. Maintain a neutral
  • Not Synced
    spine and breathe out as you push the
  • Not Synced
    weight up. Start at 90 degrees and
  • Not Synced
    breathe out.
  • Not Synced
    Come down to 90 degrees. Breathe
  • Not Synced
    out. One more. Keep your core tight.
