I was correct today. I found myself contemplating images of madness.

and the soldiers. Upon my people an artist drew the tears of a million cheeks.

The world convinced us that in a state, as they told us, there is sovereignty.

Come on! Honor us with democracy! Come on! In Palestine there are free and fair elections!

Wait! In my mind, there's a question mark that’s powerfully illuminated:

How long will democracy keep coming before freedom? I asked the Umma,

but my question was extinguished in the face of the camera lights because

it's like being blind. Who will remove these calamities, whose glare is shimmering in the lenses?

The people are clinging to a piece of paper because today is the day off for the elections.

Everyone's singing. You say two _______ herding a song like a punch to the face.

The world attended a farce while we played our parts well.

A team went down, a team went up. Good, now a team can get rid of the crisis.

The farce had a surprising ending. The world thought about what’s happening.

They were upset with us and a boycott happened. I’m calling for us to improve ourselves.

Our balloting was refused and interrupted under the administration.

You said that decades would not suffice for the occupation to influence the world.

It was unified when it turned away from Palestine and let the hunger spread.

We were starving so we craved meats

O Palestine, I have gotten myself a rifle now.

So take me with you, but not for a civil war.

Enough with tribalism in our house. We're not lacking, uncle.

I saw a madness that will be written in history with poison.

It's all poisoned and we protect the spoon with the poison in it.
