-
Hello. Today we are going to make
-
raw vegan cheesecake
-
It's very simple and plant based
-
So the verse that I have for you
-
guys is 1 Corinthians 10:31
-
It says, "Whether therefore ye eat, or
-
drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to
-
the glory of God"
-
We're going to keep that in mind
-
First, we're going to start out with
-
our crust which is two cups of
-
walnuts like these ones right here and
-
two cups of dates, pitted
-
Then you're going to put that in a
-
blender or magic bullet
-
It's going to make a paste like this
-
Then you're going to put that in your pan,
-
where you will put your cheesecake at
-
It's okay if it has chunks of walnuts
-
depending on how you like it
-
Now you can get a spatula or you
-
can just use your fingers
-
Now we are going to start with our
-
cheese filling
-
You can soak these cashews overnight
-
if you want
-
We're going to use two and a half cups
-
of cashews
-
Cashews are great for actually doing
-
the cheesecake and a great source
-
of protein
-
So two cups and a half, there we go
-
And then you're going to use coconut oil
-
You can use this, it's unrefined,
-
coldpressed. It's the best flavor that
-
you can use because it's not refined
-
and you don't really taste it, you don't
-
really taste the coconut
-
So you can put this in a small pan with
-
water and then it will melt pretty good
-
Then it will look like this
-
So you're going to add 3/4ths cup of
-
coconut oil
-
And 1/4th cup of lemon juice, there you go
-
And 1/2 cup of Agave nectar
-
Let's see, one half cup
-
There you go, going to add that in there
-
and use my little spatula
-
going to get all the nectar, you don't
-
want to miss anything
-
There you go
-
And then you want one teaspoon
-
of vanilla extract
-
That's probably a little bit more
-
but we're just adding for flavor
-
Stir that in there so it will blend in
-
Alright, now that we have all of our
-
ingredients in we're going to blend this
-
until it is a thick, creamy paste
-
And depending on your blender you're
-
going to let this blend for a minute, two
-
minutes, or until smooth
-
And this looks like it's done
-
Okay, let's pour that in here
-
Ah, that looks so good
-
And actually if you don't want to do
-
a cheesecake you can use this just as
-
pudding or yogurt
-
put some strawberries or blueberries
-
just mix that together
-
There you have it
-
You want to put this in the freezer
-
for about two hours or until firm
-
then you're going to cut it out
-
and I made one before
-
and it's going to look like this
-
And that's raw vegan cheesecake
-
It's an awesome source of protein and
-
vitamins and minerals
-
So I hope you guys enjoy this
-
Thank you
