You really have to master

those little tools like

mailing lists,

IRC,

stuff like that

wiki format

so that you can work better

with the community.

You have to be ready

to absorb a lot of documentation.

Well, you do need to be eager

to actually support the open REP

or support anything.

You can't be afraid to reach out to people

have a vision and work on it.

You need to have

I think the first rule

is to be very open

and to have the sharing culture.

Especially having the sharing culture

is the first rule.

Probably the first thing

you wanna do is be open and patient.

Hacking I think, is really a way

to do things

or make things the way that you want

you want them to be.

And have an influence on things

that surround you

and it doesn't need to be code

it can be anything.

Don't be afraid, go for it, don't be shy.

You have to do it, you have to go for it.
